I've been trying to get my roof redone since February. They took the money and never did any work. They had my solar panels removed with a start date but that was in May, no one showed or call to tell me why. No one will answer calls text the owner hasn't even reached out. No one is in the office so going by is pointless. They have passed me around with different people all with promises to get it done but once the start date comes and goes i never hear back from them. Do not trust this company find a company that cares and doesn't lie.

I can't begin to express how disappointing my experience with A1 Roofing was. I initially chose them based on a friend's recommendation, but that was a mistake. It started off with a free estimate that quickly turned into a pushy sales pitch—felt like I was buying a used car rather than simply getting an estimate! Despite that, I decided to move forward, hoping for a smooth process. Boy, was I wrong.

The project manager was consistently dishonest throughout the entire process. They promised quick follow-ups and a start date in October, but we didn’t even get started until the third week of November. Every time I reached out, I was told it would be "just a few more days." After weeks of waiting, I began to lose trust.

Once the project was finally "completed," the issues didn’t end there. The project manager claimed the entire list of unfinished items had been addressed, but when I went up to check myself, I found five things still not completed.

The last part of the project was the installation of a rain gutter, which turned into a long waiting game. I was told for weeks that it was still being fabricated, only to later learn that the crew responsible for installing it was backed up. After weeks of waiting, I just asked them to forget the gutter and send me a final "paid in full" invoice. I had to ask a dozen times, but never received the "paid in full" invoice. Meanwhile, their accounting department was quick to send me invoices at every stage of the project, but when it came time to resolve issues, no one seemed to care or take responsibility. I even tried contacting other people in the company for help—no luck there either. Management is unresponsive, and even the salesperson couldn't get his boss to respond.

I will give credit where it's due—the crew that did the actual work were hardworking and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The project manager’s dishonesty and the lack of communication and accountability from the company made this a frustrating and exhausting experience. Based on my experience and the C+ BBB rating, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

While I typically prefer to gather multiple quotes, the research I’ve done combined with my interaction with John gave me confidence in his recommendations and the proposed cost for the new roof. Great experience, John is the one who.did my roof repair. On time, friendly, and took the time to explain everything. He replaced the flashing, fixed tiles, and added the back cover that flew off in a storm. Even after the job, he took time to explain what to look for, and what was done. I highly recommend A1, and hopefully you get John. Very reasonable price as well.

Nine contractors bid on my roof replacement for a 1750 sq ft house. The A1 Roofing Solutions representative, Aiden, listened to my needs and provided me the best competitive price. The proposal included quality Malarkey shingles, synthetic underlayment, new whirlybirds, industry-standard warranties, and free inspections every two years. I was able to "try out" shingle colors for my roof using an online program. Without seeking a restraining order, Aiden patiently answered the many detailed questions I emailed his way, then worked with me on budget concerns and a desired payment plan.

I verified the company was Malarkey-certified, a registered contractor (ROC), and in good standing with the BBB. They had both positive online reviews and some televised community events.

On the start day, Project Manager Aiden was onsite and the three-man crew led by Carlos were punctual and methodically replaced the roof underlayment, shingles, some rotted fascia and plywood. They removed and retained the existing metal wraparound and gutter too. Workers cleaned up the yard daily. I value quality over quickness so preferred this crew's three-day project timetable over a job done by many guys in just hours.

The initial project startup slipped several weeks and the front office too often lacked timely or responsive communication. Patience and persistence were, frustratingly, required at times. Thus, room to improve. Still, I appreciate the labor of the roofing team and also the Ops Director, Eliseo, who addressed a follow-up fix. Ultimately, I was satisfied with the affordable price, value, and quality A1 offered.

I had my roof replaced in March.This is what it looks like when they were done. I have contacted them several times with no response and have not heard or seen anyone to come out and fix the roof or the leaks in my house. The water runs down both sides of my home and also right into my electrical box. I have more water leaking from the roof than I ever had before replacing it. Now maybe the cost of this is no big deal to them but it was an awful lot to us. So maybe if you don’t have any issues with your new roof all is well but beware that if you do you might be in the same situation as me. Leaks and no cooperation from them!! Good luck to all

I received an inspection with Anthony from A1, and I am so glad that I did. He was efficient, knowledgeable, courteous, and informative. I now have a solid plan for my roof.

Anthony was funny and friendly. He let us know what condition our roof was in. He informed us of our problem areas and what we needed to watch out for. He also walked us through the products and our options for maintaining our roof.

Austin made the estimate process easy and clear! Called on a Wednesday and they were able to get him out there the next morning. Have not had the actual work completed yet. will update once its done

This is a honest and straightforward company. Met Miguel and he gave us a bid and helped us to navigate the timing of the install and the gentleman who did the work Carlos and the boys, they worked all day in the hot AZ weather and they were done in 2 days. I can't thank A1 enough. The work is quality.

I really recommend A1 roofing to anyone that is looking to get a new roof, Allen knocked on my door asking if I was looking to get my roof inspected, I was hesitant for a bit because I don't accept solicitors at my door, but Allen did a great job telling me how the process would be and what I should expect from the inspection.

Austin Lacy was really great. He did a very thorough inspection both inside and outside of the roof and documented everything with photos. He also discussed with us all the options and made recommendations for fixing our roof. He did not try to "oversell" and was straightforward with everything - the materials, the preparation, the costs and finish work, etc. He is very knowledgeable and very friendly. I write this review with a sense of peace that a problem was solved. We had A1 roofing redo our roof 4 years ago. Recently, a leak was found (by way of observing a water stain on the interior of our home). Our situation was complicated by the fact that we had a solar company install solar panels in the area.

What impressed me SO MUCH about A1 is that our coordinator, Aaron, seemed to go above and beyond to help me figure out what was causing the leak, and get it repaired. It took a few trips but he even coordinated with our solar tech - which feels unheard of in this line of work. Nobody ever wants to cooperate with other companies - but A1 did. Everything was taken off the roof, the leak was found, and the roof repaired under our warranty.

There are a lot of crappy companies out there today that will do their utmost to just get it done and get paid. A1 felt different. They were amazing at communication, were super prompt, and got the job done quickly and well. I think I was most impressed by the communication and follow up by Aaron - so helpful to just have someone to talk to to get a problem like this solved. I was so stressed about it but Aaron made it much easier to bear. Thank you!

I researched A1 pretty extensively when I first had them redo my roof. I was pleased with the process and the price THEN, and am pleased that despite company policy changes since our original work (all smart moves on their part, I think), our warranty was honored and the leak was fixed. I would recommend.

A1 roofing did my new roof in a timely manner, and Project Manager John Michael was great to work with. He responded to my texts and concerns in a timely fashion. He gets five stars. The company gets four stars because the roofers damaged some of my stucco, and some of the corners were not properly sealed. Also, when the roofers came out to fix the stucco, they didn't fill it and they painted it with a mismatched color. Not acceptable. However, John Michael got right on it and took the steps to have the issues resolved.

My new roof looks great! Travis did a fantastic job walking me through the entire process of getting my insurance approved. He was very knowledgeable and patient. He was always super responsive and took the time to answer all my questions. I'm very happy with the finished results!

Travis was amazing dealing with insurance and full scope of work that was presented and approved by insurance after wind damage from monsoons that ripped through out neighborhood. DO NOT CALL THESE GUYS FIND ANYONE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long story short there is a dispute with my insurance that these guys told me they could fix. It started out okay but I have had to make every call to them. They have NEVER called me, they claim they are still go back and forth with the insurance but nothing is happening and it has been a very very very long time. I think they decided they did not want to work with me after they started working the claim but are not professional enough to actually call and tell me that.

I have never had a roof leak in the 25 years in my house. All of my neighbors have. I figured, if it's not broke don't fix it. A1 roofing asked to do an inspection. Very professional and on time. After seeing the pictures of my roof, I realized it's not if but when!. The inspector was very knowledgeable and personable. He was not pushy or insistent.
