Gherman and his team at Zion builders did two projects for me. Our Kitchen remodel turned out beautifully - working with our existing cabinets and layout we added a farm sink, quartz counter, and tile backsplash. They made sure I always had a working kitchen and where clean and on time. Laura was great managing it all and Derek and Gherman worked to get every detail right.
They also replaced my office flooring and baseboards with a quick turnaround and a beautiful result. Roman did a great job and they are so clean! I highly recommend the entire team at Zion Builders!

We recently hired Zion to renovate our kitchen and laundry room, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team was a pleasure to work with. The folks from Zion recently installed a shower system in my bathroom. They were on time for all phases of the restoration, a few small issues needed to be addressed during the job and they kept me informed on each situation. Finished product is excellent. House and outside were cleaned and all debris removed. 5

We are very happy repeat customers. We worked with Zion over a year ago for a remodel of three bathrooms, one of which had to be torn down to the studs. That project was handled beautifully, and Gherman, Derek, and Roman were thoroughly professional, and they also communicated really well through the project. The work was done in a timely way, on budget, and with excellent quality -- I am happy every time I go into one of those spaces. Then this year we entrusted Zion with a kitchen remodel, again down to the studs. This was a bigger project, and we are grateful to Derek, Roman, Ken, Justin, Randy, and Nick for their attention to detail, good communication, and beautiful results. I especially appreciate that they caught some unexpected issues once the walls were open and we were able to address them immediately. We are contemplating a third project to make some adjacent spaces as nice as our kitchen is now. An additional shout-out to Laura and Emily who worked with us to keep all the details straight!

Grounding Rod placed in driveway sticking 6 inches out of ground. Contractor says it is supposed to be like that even though code says it's to be buried or flush to the ground. Grounding wire comes off the house about 5 feet from the ground and loosely runs over a motorcycle frame and to the rod sticking 6 inches out of the ground in the driveway. We are really wondering how this hack of a contractor has high reviews. We would not use him to change a lightbulb. Oh and once you're paid, the odds and ends that need fixing are given low priority. Buyer beware!

This positive review is long over due. We had Zion help us with the renovation of a bathroom, which included a walk-in shower, a new fan heating system and new paint. With little disturbance to the rest of the house, they completed their work on a timely basis and accommodated our schedule very nicely. We highly recommend them and will call on them again for future projects.

Redid our master bathroom with Zion and went from a basic shower/tub to a tiled shower and walkin tub (getting older). Added nice touches such as heated towel racks and custom shower bench with linear drain. Zion handled it start to finish.
They showed up on time as scheduled and started the work taking care to keep construction from making a mess in other parts of the house.
When unforeseen items arose (as they do in all projects when opening up the walls and ceilings) Zion handled it well with good solutions that they quickly handled. After all, it's not whether a job goes perfectly, but rather did it end well. It did and we are very happy with our new spa like master bath.

I've used Zion for two separate home projects, will continue to use them, and highly recommend!

They helped me complete a basement renovation, which included installing an egress window, demolition, insulation and sheetrock. The work was professionally done, prompt, and helped transform the space.

They also helped reconstruct an area of the basement that was damaged by a water leak. They were *insanely* responsive and quick on this one. They viewed the damage on Monday, were fast in giving me a very fair quote, and had the project wrapped up by Friday. Again, the work was highly professional and the whole team was a pleasure to work with.

Can't wait to use them for my next home project!!

We had a great experience with Zion Builders. We engaged them to add an additional room to our house and couldn't be happier with the results! The price was reasonable and the quality of the effort was excellent and done on schedule. They brought a great crew, led by Justin, who clearly cared about the quality of their work. Additionally, senior management including the owner showed up a number of times to provide guidance and work through the details with us. We would definitely use them again.

Zion Builders did a great job turning a shingled shed roof into a poly paneled green house roof. Everyone that we met from the boss, estimators, office staff, and work crew were friendly, courteous, and professional. I would gladly recommend them for any kind of project that they can do.

Gherman and I believe his name was Ken came out so quick after I called the office. They made me feel confident immediately that their company could handle fixing our kitchen remodel. Our job was a bit of a disaster for these guys to come and We had worked with another company who completely ignored our needs. As soon as we reached out to Zion, it was such a difference in the way that they treat their customers, and the quality of their work was outstanding. We really appreciate the Zion Builders detailed workmanship renovating a home we recently bought. They worked with us as we prioritized what was to be done and then fit us into their schedule early to help us get moved in quickly.
They converted our 2 bathrooms from tub to walk-in shower, removed excess closets to make rooms feel amazingly bigger, and reduced a bar height kitchen counter to standard counter height providing one seamless work & eat surface. They also ran new electric circuits and moved the kitchen exhaust vent as part of our conversion to a modern all electric kitchen. Naturally, in the process they ran across non-standard construction done by the original builder almost 30 years ago and damage due to poor maintenance by the prior owner – they corrected all these without issue.
Having Zion work with and for us was a great experience. We want to give a big shout-out to the Zion team: from the owner, Gherman, to the office staff, Laura, Chris, & Emily, and all the craftsmen who did the work, Roman, Nick, Derek, & Eugene.
Our bathrooms are updated and more suitable for us as we get older, rooms are larger, and our kitchen will be more functional whether just for the two of us or when we have friends & family over. We are very excited to move into our freshly renovated home.

We hired Zion to adjust our roof awning on the front of our house. From start to finish, Gherman and his team were top notch. They were able to provide a quote shortly after we contacted them, and communication throughout the project was quick and efficient. The team arrived exactly when they said they would, and they were able to finish the project in just one day. We were so impressed with Zion and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again for future home projects!

Working with Zion construction was a very expensive mistake. I was one of many projects they tried unsuccessfully to juggle at once. Details overlooked, promises broken, time and money wasted. They sent sub contractors that had more excuses than skills. I’ve had to spend thousands of dollars in rework. Some mistakes are too expensive to fix and I will just have to learn to live with them. Avoid them!

Zion Builders just finished a master bath remodel and a tub replacement in the guest bath. Both projects were completed as promised and are beautiful. The crews were great to work with. They showed up on time and kept the work areas as clean as possible. The neatest remodel I have ever had. Both projects were completed within budget and I could not be happier. I will be using them for all future projects, no more shopping for a contractor.

I had the best experience with Zion Builders. Going in to my project I was very nervous being a single woman without any knowledge of remodeling. I had bids from several contractors and honestly one of them was kind of mean and another one seemed smarmy. Gherman came out for his bid and right away I was comfortable and everything felt open and up front. I was not intimidated or in any way made to feel dumb about my ideas or questions. I turned my entire unfinished basement into a two bedroom one bathroom apartment with a full kitchen for my daughter to live in. It turned out beautiful. Exactly what I had hoped for. I felt like the price was very reasonable and what I had been led to expect by bids. In fact I think they went above and beyond. Everyone was respectful of my house and my privacy. They were mindful of my pets running around. The job was finished well before what I had requested. I am over the moon. Thank you to all the guys who worked on my house and I will definitely use you again for future projects and recommend you to all my friends.

Gherman and his team did a wonderful job. I would have them remodel another room. They were professional and treated our home with great respect.. They came in on budget and were very helpful when we asked for more work. They showed up when they said they would. They are quality all the way. I will recommend them to all our friends.

We are very happy with the remodels of our bathrooms. Gherman, Derek, Roman, Jake and the other guys were always wonderful to work with and very good about asking what we wanted with the various aspects of the baths. If we had any concerns, they were eager to address them. When we discovered an unrelated “exterior wall” rot problem, they jumped into action to fix the issue - even coming out on the weekend to work in the pouring rain to ensure there would be no water intrusion. We would highly recommend them!

Zion builders gave me an amazing experience from the beginning to the end. Gherman was extremely communicative and helpful during the whole project. The whole company, including all the staff were all very professional and respectful of my space and time. As well, as being very efficient the end results were amazing!! I will definitely be hiring them again for future projects!

I'm not entirely sure how they got any five star reviews. They aren't even willing to have a simple conversation about general scope of work and pricing. I tried repeatedly to set something up for an initial consultation but they weren't even willing to set up a phone call. I have general plans already laid out. All I needed was to ensure that my budget was within reason for what we were looking for. I didn't want to hard quote. I didn't want anything out of the ordinary. I just needed to know if my budget was even in the ballpark.

My suggestion is to take your business elsewhere. They clearly have enough stuff going on that they don't need anyone else's business. Sorely disappointing. Not very happy that I wasted my time trying to give these people money.

I am very pleased to have an opportunity to review the great team at Zion Builders! I had my 1970’s en-suite bathroom completely renovated - new flooring, vanity, mirror, plug for a bidet seat, light and towel bars, paint and, best of all, and a beautiful walk in shower with marble-look wet walls and glass doors to replace the chipped, stained and marginally functional tub/shower unit.

Gherman, the owner, provided a detailed cost breakdown going into the project and was crystal clear on the cost of any add-ons to the initial project cost summary. He was straightforward and easy to talk with. His front office was a pleasure to work with, operating efficiently and providing updated invoices promptly.

I had the pleasure of having Derek (project manager) and Roman provide the bulk of the work on the project with Derek effectively bringing in other workers when needed.

Gherman, Derek and the whole crew did a huge list of projects for me. From a full master bath remodel, to adding and additional bath, and refinishing my laundry room. They are quick, they are quality, fair priced and carry a ton of pride in the work they are doing. From a major tile project to reframing and drywall, refinishing floors these guys do it all and are a pure joy to work with. I'm extremely lucky to have them for all my repair and remodel needs and couldn't recommend them enough!

The construction quality was top notch for a difficult deck tear down and reinstall. Gherman stuck by his estimate and any extra work was agreed upon ahead of time to my satisfaction. The crew was diligent, polite, well mannered, professional and timely. I have worked with various contractors for many years and find Zion to be one of the best to work with. No surprises, just excellent work. I would hire them again for any work that they say they can do.

I cant recommend Zion enough! We had an extensive bathroom remodel done - wall knockdown, tile shower, tile floor, new vanity, new toilet....everything. Gherman (owner) was able to give us a quote and get us on the schedule when it was convenient for us. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Derek (project manager) was great and was very helpful giving his insight when we asked and clarifying things as needed. He also made sure that all of my questions were answered. Laura (office staff) responded promptly to all billing and material questions. All of the people that worked on our bathroom were very friendly and respectful. The crew did a great job keeping our house clean, and accomdated everything we asked (working from home with two dogs). The finished product was better than we could have expected. Zion builders take attention to detail, and if something wasn't what we expected it was quickly corrected.

They are amazing. We had just recently purchased the home last year and finally had a chance to remodel the master bathroom. They came in and ripped out the floor, modeling, vanity, mirror and changed the position of the light fixture in an incredible short period of time and replaced it with the items we wanted and even moved the light fixture to accommodate the medicine cabinet. They were super easy to work with and it was a true pleasure. Have some more things to remodel down the road and they are definitely the ones will use for all of it.

He was one of the few contractors able to give us a detailed quote, and was always right on top of any issues with our kitchen remodel. He walked us through the whole process, and was always going out of his way to be directly accessible. Overall, super nice responsive guy to work with, he and his team will take care of you. Professional, reliable and quality job! Gherman definitely deserve 5 star rating. He responds, communicate and provide quality works. I found Zion Builder online and Gherman returned call within 15 mins. He and his staff came over and gave me an estimate in 1 day. (Most other contractors do not return calls, and took almost a month for estimation of the project. ). When we decided to go ahead with Zion builder, he scheduled us in 3 weeks. He told me the job will be 90% finished in 2 weeks. While I was doubtful on 2 weeks, he really made it and completed on time. His staff are friendly, courteous, and polite; we are thankful to not only Gherman, but also Allan and Ty. Thanks Zion builders.

They did exactly what we wanted. They worked with us. They showed up on time. Except for our after bid additions, they came in at the bid. Although there was a substantial cabinet delay caused by Home Depot, they worked continuously until they were done.

These guys did a full basement remodel for us, which included moving a wall, putting in a kitchenette, and adding a 3/4 bathroom (no small task since we're on a septic system). They even built in a cat door for us! They were super nice, professional, up front about all charges, and completed the work within the time frame despite a couple of supply-chain hiccups. We especially appreciated Roman's attention to detail.

I made a call to Zion Builders on a Sunday and they were able to finish the entire job that same week! Incredibly knowledgeable and they wore PPE for my safety and theirs. I would recommend their services to anyone. 10/10 quality, efficiency and pricing!

I called them up with a water main emergency and was told they could definitely handle the job! I was so happy to hear I wouldn't have to wait weeks!
They quoted me far less than I expected and said it would probably be a two day job... These guys knocked it out in less than a full day and stuck to the quote I was given.
The guys doing the job were friendly and fast and they cleaned up the mess better than the way it was when they got here.

Great customer service! I had a hard time finding a kitchen and bathroom remodel contractor but a friend referred me to Gherman with Zion Builders and he was out the next day for an inspection and had a bid ready two days later. Scheduling was easy and the guys were in time and polite. Would definitely recommend.

I hired Zion for my flooring and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. They finished the job 4 days early and and flooring pattern was beautiful. Just really pleased overall with the work and look forward to them building my deck next summer!
