I sent one of my runners down Saturday to pick up two pieces of lumber 2x8x12 for stair stringers . The customer service was good but the lumber was not #2 grade . The lumber I received cannot be used for stringers, or joists , or much of anything else for construction. The cracks run the whole length of the boards and make it useless.

I purchased the materials to construct a shed based on the completed shed they offer. The associate appeard to have no idea what he was doing, the order took way too long to complete, and on top of that I am short on materials and have had to make several trips to home depot. In the process of making this order, other associates stood behind the one helping me and laughed at his incompetence. Complete waste of time and money.

I love, love, love Ziggy's in Moses Lake. I say this every time I leave their business. Not only do they have the nicest lumber yard( believe me, I have looked at many to compare), they have the most helpful, knowledgeable employees. Janine and Paul and others have helped me brainstorm my fence project and also a solution to my water drainage problem. Their expertise and just taking the time to help me figure things out is something I have not found anywhere else. Ziggy's is my go-to place for quality in product and customer service and support. They are the best!

Frustrating for our crew when they tell us on the phone they have the supplies we need - then when we make the trip out they don’t…

The staff is super friendly and they actually know their stuff. I have always had a great experience shopping here. It’s a super bonus that I don’t have to load any of the materials either. Ziggys is they best. It absolutely stuns me that there are reviews about bad service here. IMO if you want good customer service go to ziggys and if you want to be left alone and don’t have any questions, go to Home Depot or lowes.

They seem to have no problem selling rotten and substandard products. They took advantage of my parents by selling them rotten fence boards and rough cut 2x4s. In the past those products have been discounted, but in this instance they were sold to my parents at full price. The kids pulling the lumber need to be trained or talked to about going through the pile when loading up customer orders. This should not be difficult to accomplish considering the hourly untrained employees at home Depot and Lowe's can figure that out.

If I can avoid shopping here I will. Occasionally, I am backed into a corner because nowhere else in town has what I need. Today's experience was yet another reminder of why. Staff was unfriendly and, at best indifferent to my presence. I had questions for the helpers that were loading me out and they were equally indifferent and told me to go back up front to get my questions answered. Their old school way of doing business is going to wind up with an empty building and a for lease sign at the street. I sure won't shed a tear when that happens

We sought information on cost comparisons of various fencing materials: the gentleman discussed pros & cons of various materials and developed a comoarative cost sheet of 3 fencing options for us. This was precisely the information we gad hoped to learn. Thank you! We will return in near future.

Pretty much has all you need, and if they don't, they can order. Some times they stock stuff that Home Depot or Lowe's does not. However they can not give you a discount like Home Depot or Lowes can on similar products. I was purchasing a bulk product one time and confronted the sales person that the item was $10 more per item compared to Lowes or Home Depot. I was pretty much told to just go buy it from them then. Purchases few products from them, quality was mediocre at best.

Browsed the aisles--This is a great building supply house. The lumber selection is great, quality is better than the big box stores.

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
