Dan’s report is extremely detailed and includes both an objective description of each section as well as a few humble yet knowledgeable suggestions. In person, Dan was capable of being to the point and professional as well as social and kind. But he did not lose track of his tasks and he made a point to update me along the way if I had any questions. Dan’s thoroughness in both his inspecting and in his reporting helped me feel confident in my decision to buy a house; perhaps the first piece of confidence I was gifted on this otherwise uncertain journey.

DAN IS AMAZING!! WOW! I have never seen someone so thorough and hard working in my life! He came a few days early to test for radon, etc... and arrived early to get started on inspection of the home we were buying. He even used drones, and was very detailed oriented. He pretty much gave us an 80 page manual with all of the things we needed to do to keep the house in good shape. My husband has bought and sold 7+ homes in his life and he's never seen such an incredible inspector and who was also very friendly!! 100/10 recommend! Our realtor also said that he doesn't buy a house without having Dan inspect it!

I highly recommend White River Valley Home inspection! The entire process of setting up an appointment with Dan and meeting him for the on-site inspection was seamless. As soon as I met him, I said to myself, I'm so glad that our realtor recommended him! He reviewed the process and then continued with his inspection (I should mention since it was quite cold outside, he had already spent time looking at the external areas for review. Our realtor and I left him to his work while we spent time chatting. Once Dan had finished he sat down with us to review everything. Luckily, he had not found any problematic areas. Since we are going to be renting this property from time to time, Dan explained everything that would need to be modified for that purpose. After we finished our face-to-face discussion, Dan followed up the next day with a thoroughly and well written report.

Our experience with WRV Home Inspection and Dan Jones was excellent from start to finish. He was responsive to my initial call and provided a comprehensive description of the inspection services available. During the inspection, he was very thoughtful and took the time to answer any questions I had. The final report was well beyond my expectations in the level of detail provided.

We also did the Radon, Mold and Water testing that were offered by WRV and I recommend doing these tests in addition to the core inspection. As we had a tight timeline, Dan was able to get the test samples submitted quickly so that we could our results in the 10 day inspection window we had.

My experience with WRV Home Inspection has been above and beyond. We hired Dan first in 2023 to inspect the home we had just bought. We got the full inspection package and were very satisfied with what it included. Dan gave us a remarkably detailed report with easy to understand terminology and varying degrees of safety concerns. Definitely 5 stars! Working with Dan has been fantastic so far, and I have already seen that he is sincere when he says he is happy to answer any questions I have post-inspection. During the inspection itself, he walked me through all of the issues (and household curiosities) he identified, helping me to understand what the issues are, how critical they are, and how they might be addressed. His very thorough inspection report then documented everything we discussed, as well as the list of all of the other parts of the home he inspected but for which there were no findings. When I had follow-up questions a few days later, he hopped right on a phone call to help me understand what to expect for a couple of particular repairs.
