Jon and his crew were very professional. They arrived on time and perform an excellent service. They removed two apple trees and trimmed and very large maple, all were eventual hazards to my house. John and his team arrived on a Sunday, securing an 80-foot pine tree to prevent it from falling on my garage. They promptly returned on Monday with a crane service to address this urgent matter.

Jon and his crew took down an enormous and very complex White Pine (over 100 feet) next to our house and bordering our residential street. Jon discovered a split caused by lightening and was still able to limb and fell the tree with no damage to our property (or himself!). Excellent service! Very reliable and professional work, cleaned up nicely and communicated well from the quote visit to the end of the job. We had multiple trees in and near power lines, our house, our driveway and the porch. All trees were felled safely, mess was cleaned up and limbs were chipped on site. The quote was right on ! I called Jon about a tree that I cut and didn't fall where I expected.
He had an emergency with a family member and said I can help you out tomorrow morning.
He showed up with 2 other guys.
Jon looked over the situation , grabbed his belt, rope, chainsaw and spurs and headed up the tree.
Long story short.
Amazing work and no hesitation.
Tree was on the ground in no time.
He's coming back when time allows to do another one.

Fantastic work, and would 100% recommend. Jon and his team removed a tree hanging over the roof of our house that has been dropping large branches over the road and our neighbor's property/car. We wanted to remove it for years but could never find someone willing and reliable. Jon and his team took care of the tree, bucked up the wood, and agreed to leave it for the neighbor's who use wood to fuel their homes. Everyone is super pleased.

Jon took care of a large, fallen limb in my yard. He came out the same day I called and actually did the work right on the spot! He was concerned about the grass growing under the limb and needing to be mowed. He wanted to take care of it at that time because he was afraid if he didn't he might not be able to schedule it for a couple of weeks. Jon is a conscientious, efficient worker who is a pleasure to interact with. I'm already planning additional limb removal projects for him. I cannot recommend Jon's Tree Service Highly Enough. From start to finish working with Jon and his great crew was a wonderful experience. We asked Jon for a quote and he was at our property within a few days. He gave us the price , which was very reasonable, and a timeline for completion. He got the work done a week earlier than expected. We had two large Maple trees that were overhanging our home, one of which had a dead spot in the middle of the tree. Jon climbed both trees and methodically removed limb after limb until there were just standing trunks. He then removed top portions of the trunk so that when he felled them they wouldn't do any damage to the surrounding trees. All the while his ground crew chipped the limbs and cleared debris. They bucked the trunks and he and his crew neatly stacked the wood for us. Before leaving they cleaned the worksite and it looks better now than when they arrived. I could not be more impressed with the skill, professionalism and courage of Jon and his crew. I now have peace of mind that these dangerous trees won't fall on our home. Jon came out to look at a tree and was worried about leaving it for another day since it was leaning over the house. Climbed up, put redundancies on the tree to make sure it didn’t go anywhere and dropped the trunk and every branch right where he said they would go. Professional, knowledgeable, affordable and insured. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend!! Fast estimate, very fast service, The tree they cut down was on a slope and had a fence on three sides and our house on the fourth side, we had been wanting to cut it down for years because we knew it was dangerous to our house and the safety of our animals but knew it would be impossible without damage to the house as the tree was leaning towards the house and it was huge , but with there expertise they brought it down safely. We are so thankful it's gone. And I cannot say enough about how well they cleaned up the property. Charged lower then the estimate and very reasonable priced.Highly recommend,

A large poplar tree blew over during a winter storm. It was in a precarious position on an incline that made it somewhat dangerous to cut with a chainsaw, so I needed professional help to remove it. Jon was quick to respond, communicative through the timeline planning process, his rate was affordable, and he did a very thorough and professional job. We had a huge tree get knocked over, and was being held by some other trees while hanging over a neighbor's driveway. John brought the tree down while preserving the other trees around it, and was organized and thoughtful with how he sectioned everything while also being mindful of our neighbors property. Extremely pleased with the work that Jon’s Tree Service did on a huge old Maple that was leaning towards our house! This tree has sentimental value as it was our swing tree while growing up plus it provides good shade. Jon understood what I wanted to do and didn’t insist the only way was to remove the entire tree as others I contacted had! He made suggestions as to what parts of the tree he needed to cut to make it safe and made short work of removing them!

Jon's tree service is the best out there. He sticks to estimates and doesn't charge more than he quoted. Just recently I got nervous over a broken branch on a big pine tree out back of my house and Jon came over and took the branch down and didn't even charge me if you want the best tree service Jon is it.

Amazing, fast service. Did a fantastic job of reducing trees at our driveway when snow caused them to bend and block it. Great attention to detail, they even took the cut limbs away to leave a nice tidy finish.

We had a large birch tree that did not weather a storm very well. The branches were invading the neighbors yard and two limbs had already broken with a third limb dangling toward the house. Jon's Tree Service came out and surveyed the yard, got a quote to us the same day. Came out the next day and took care of the tree in 5 inches of snow for a very reasonable rate. And then the detail to bucking up the large pieces to smaller manageable pieces so I could lift them to my splitter was immensely helpful. It truly was tons of work for one day that will provide me with wood and keep me good and warm for the 2024-5 wood burning season! You earned every bit of your very reasonable fee. Jon took out a huge Box Elder Tree that was growing right in to my garage roof. They came early in the morning and had it taken down really quickly. They did an amazing job clearing all the wood and cleaning up afterward. I would strongly recommend his service to anyone needing tree work done.

Jon was quick to respond when I called for a tree to be trimmed for cable installation. He did the job the day he came to see it and give me an estimate (it was a small tree). He was knowledgeable and told me exactly what he was going to do. He also gave me some advice about some other trees that will probably some day have to come down. We recently purchased a house in Vermont and improving the view was a top priority. Jon's Tree Service has an excellent website that stood out from the rest of my search. The confidence inspired by the website was born out in my conversations with Jon. He was an expert adviser in the difficult job of uncovering a view that can't be seen before trees come down. He managed to maximize the view and minimize the tree removal. His skills were on display during his two days of work. I couldn't be happier with the service and the expertise! Already planning next year's work!

I reached out to Jon and he responded very quickly to set up a time to come out and check out our tree situation. We had a large maple lose a limb at our camp, and we were worried about the rest of the maple as well as several other trees. Due to our location, Jon couldn't use a crane or other support; it was just him, two other guys, ropes, their saws, and knowledge. Jon and Thyra were so awesome, we had a lot of work in a family members yard that hadn't had alot of maintenence over the past several years. Jon walked through our concerns and guided us to which trees needed to come down and which just needed trimming. He also gave us advice on some really tough cedars. I couldn't believe how quickly Jon worked! He climbed and dropped the trees so expertly, cleared all the limbs hanging over the roof and made a couple recommendations for future work. We all breathed a sigh of relief that we wouldn't have to worry about limbs falling on the roof, pulling the powerlines down or hitting our cars. I can't wait for them to come do work at my house next!

These guys are on point, top to bottom. Free quote, responsive to communication, fantastic and fast work -- and SAFE as well. I had a LOT of obstacles around the dangerous trees the crew removed, including my house, greenhouse, apple trees, dog fence, gardens, etc... most of these were within ten feet of the trees. All went great. Jon even bent over backwards to communicate with me entirely through facebook, AND provided proof of insurance when I asked, both of which might have annoyed a less professional company.
