Matt was great, we were getting so frustrated with bringing our camper to camping world for warranty work. I had then found out we could use Matt. Best decision ever. Like any small business that does a great job, they get booked up quickly. There's a reason why he's so booked up. It's because of his honesty and integrity. We will continue to use him from now on. My wife and I purchased our first “used” 2023 camper. Being new to the whole camper lifestyle it was a major setback to discover that the AC unit was not working on our first voyage out with our two dogs out in the sun. When we got back I called W/Out A Hitch and was blessed to be talking with the owner Matt. He came the next day, on time. Diagnosed the issue within an hour and talked me through what he was checking. As a motorcycle technician I really appreciated hearing the technical side of his craftsmanship.

While he was on the roof of our bella Tera he even called me up to look at few spots he wanted me to pay attention too. He even got some supplies and made a quality patch for me and installed it right then and there. No charge, just a caring technician looking out for the owner.

Within the first week I learned that not only was he going to be able to install the new unit within the next two weeks but he was able to cut me and my wife a huge deal getting it covered under warranty. A major blessing to hear for new camper owners who just made such a large investment a month prior to this AC failure. He kept in touch with me throughout the weeks to let me know when a spot would open up to install.

Matt knew from communications with me that my wife and I were super eager for our next voyage out. With impending storms for the next few days my man gathered up his tools and his partner Chris and made a late night after hours visit to get our AC installed so we could make our trip the following week. He said “I can’t have you going out camping without a working AC, you are a top priority.” That meant a lot.

Chris and Matt are real people, great conversation, smart thinkers and appreciate good craftsmanship. Especially when their hands are doing the work. It is hard to find that.

I will used W/Out A Hitch for the rest of our camping lifestyle and will share their name with everyone we can. They are worth far more than a 5 star review. You will not be disappointed. He fixed 2 ac, my heating unit, water pump in 2 trips! 1 was to assess the issues. 2nd trip had our ac up and running and no more leaks from the stubborn water pump!! I had a leak in my RV and suspected it was my hot water heater. I called Matt and talked about the situation. He was honest about what the potential situation was and the cost if it was the hot water heater, rather than something else causing the leak. But, he did need to see for himself and asked for photos if I could provide them. He put me next on his list. (It was 20° and I knew I wasn't the only one in Hampton Roads having plumbing issues!) Unfortunately, it was my hot water heater. Matt not only honored the quote he gave me, but he completed the work on the day the part came in. He let me ask as many questions as I needed and was great at explaining until I understood, lol! If I'm in trouble again, I know who I'm going to call first.

Matthew is great. He did a lot of work for me on my rv and took time to answer questions and make suggestions. He replaced my gas line, fixed my heater, got my stove back working, fixed the toilet, and I had him completely remove all the old caulking and re-caulk the whole roof, because Petes Rv, who I purchased the trailer from, was supposed to fix an area before I bought it and they didn't. Next thing I know, I had a water leak in the roof in the bathroom. Being this was a used trailer, it didn't come with a warranty. But now I have no worries about my roof or anything else with my trailer. It's good to go for another long time. It's time to head back out on the road.

They came out to check my water heater and make sure the A/C was good. Thankful I didn’t have them just check the heater. A/C was bad, but they got me up and running in just a couple days, processed the claim with my service contract and made it a very hassle free experience. I will use them again!

Bought a new 2024 camper a week ago and camper world was already giving us trouble about fixing it, and kept delaying the process. I got on the phone with this guy and he worked miracles getting through with the manufacture on getting us information that we needed to proceed. He is still in the process of helping us out and hasn’t gave up yet. If you are looking for a mobile mechanic BOOK this guy. He is great and will do anything to help you out.

My parents experienced a problem with their RV while camping at Shenandoah River and they were in an area where there was very little service. I was taking back and forth with them periodically about their issues and they told me no one was willing to help them or service their RV for weeks. I started calling around the Hampton Roads area, to include Norfolk and Suffolk, to see who could possibly help and landed on Matt’s mobile service. He was the only person who took the time to talk to me about my parents RV. We talked about what could possibly be going on, and he even asked me to send images of the problem location on their RV. We agreed that the best solution was to get state inspection to know exactly what was going on before he came out to my house to see and possibly work on the RV. Although the problem ended up being something completely unexpected that did not require his repair service, I am incredibly grateful he took the time to talk with me and help us get some answers. I would have used his services in a heart beat if we had needed specific RV repairs.

I’m new to Virginia and didn’t know where to turn to have my roof looked at on my 38 foot diesel pusher. I reached out and immediately got a return text and we discussed my issues. We had whether to contend with that we had to push off getting anything repaired or looked at for weeks but he stayed in contact with me the whole time. Showed up on time to do the work very professional and I was extremely pleased with the work and the price point. Matt worked me into his busy schedule quickly, was very fair and reasonably priced, extremely hospitable and knowledgeable. Typically, I'm hesitant to pay people hourly as it's often taken advantage of but he found the issue with my a/c and got it fixed up in absolutely no time. His wealth of knowledge is very respectable and I highly recommend reaching out to him for any rv/travel trailer needs!

What can I say . Matt and Jerimia came through and done an excellent job in rebuilding the Generator of our RV . They said it will be a couple of weeks but they got things done today 4 or 5 days before time we were told .
Worked on RV from start time to finish time . No Breaks Like I see contractors do over and over. No saying , I have to go and get something like contractors do . They show up with all necessary tools on hand .
I hope those looking for a Great experience in getting your RV fixed would at very least give them a call . I know who Im going to call in the future , Thanks for reading my review .

Matt came out and did some warranty work on my mother in law’s trailer. He diagnosed the problem and ended up replacing the blower motor in the heater. Even though he’s extremely busy, he kept in touch with us and took care of the warranty exchange. He is very thorough and a good person as well. Give him a call if you need RV service.

We had Matt work on our furnace. It ended up being some extra work and Matt stuck through and handled everything fast and professionally. I would use him again without a second thought.

Matt went over and above to get our fridge up and running for us by coming over at night after he was done with his scheduled appointments.

I contacted Matt with an urgent problem with my fifth wheel. I had a pipe frozen which caused a leak. Matt was able to expedite parts from a supplier and fix my leak. While performing the task he notice other leaks that he was able to repair on site. Highly recommend his service as he is extremely professional, knowledgeable and reliable.
