Woods Design Builders

We recently built from the ground-up a new home with Woods Design Builders. It was an amazing experience even during the pandemic when we began the design phase of the project, subsequently breaking ground. The builders, Rob and Shane Woods, were attentive and responsive to the building process and any requests we had ! They are certainly carrying on their Mother's (Sharon Woods') Legacy, and we are beyond delighted we selected them as our builder. We had the quintessential team including Chris Long our Building Manager/Supervisor, Yuki Murata our designer, and Lorn Turk our architect as well as Thomas Romeo and a multitude of others who assisted. Yes, building a house can be stressful; however, it was a pleasure to work with the Woods' Team. We can honestly say we would do it all over again, but only if we hired Woods' Builders. They built out dream home!

We engaged Woods Design Builders in 2017 to do a remodel and addition on our historic home. We did so based on their reputation and our experience when the company was owned and managed by their mother and co-founder, Sharon Woods. During our project, the management of the company was taken over by Sharon Woods’ two sons, Shane and Rob Woods. The process was an absolute disaster. We have been left with a home where many of the major systems have failed or are failing. In addition to shoddy work, their accounting is highly questionable. On top of that, much of the work was not permitted, inspected, or to code. I would also like to point out that none of the other reviews are from past clients, just those who have toured homes constructed by Woods. If you are considering doing work with this builder, please do a background check on the current owners as well as the company. I wish someone would have warned us prior to hiring them.

Shane and Rob are committed to quality and value. I have visited several of their projects and the fit and finish are among the finest I've seen.
