I would enthusiastically recommend this company for their installation of air conditioning, mini splits. The workers were very efficient and even very polite. They were clearly experienced and could answer all my questions I would give them five gold stars.

Reliable Tech is perfectly named. They were extremely reliable! The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He answered our questions readily and kept us appraised of his progress as he worked the job. Scheduling was easy and again … reliable! We definitely recommend them!

The Service Engineer that came out was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He explained several aspects of my radiant in-floor heating system to me that were a mystery to me before, and I am very grateful for that! He also identified some replacement parts that were needed, and I am glad to have Reliable Tech back out to do that work, as well as for future maintenance needs. Finally, the overall bill was less than I expected, so I also appreciate their affordability!!

I strongly recommend Reliable. I had gotten five bids for my project but Angelo took the time to research and explain all options for my cooling needs . I appreciated the attention to detail. Installers and the office were equally responsive and professional. The guys even placed a covering on the stucco parapet to protect it while they accessed the roof over a period of several hours. I had estimates from two other companies, and chose to go with ReliableTech. The owner of the company came to my house to do an assessment and give me an estimate of what was needed. He was very knowledgeable and respectful, answered all my questions and did not try to talk me into a more expensive job than was actually needed. The men who came to install the appliances were also very skilled, knowledgeable, and respectful. I would recommend this company highly.

Reliable Tech replaced my 22 year old furnace and air conditioner. The quoting process was easy with Angelo answering all questions regarding pros/cons of two different manufacturers quoted to help make the best choice for my home and budget. Installers, Julian and Robert, were outstanding keeping the work area clean, protected floors and rugs, answered all questions and ensured everything was functioning as expected. They used drop cloths on floor when entering my home & all through the house to get to the location of the furnace..After completion, they took extra time & cleaned up debris. We had our old furnace and swamp cooler replaced with an HVAC system. The installation went flawlessly. Robert and Elijah were fantastic. They kept us informed every step of the way and answered any questions we had. They cleaned up after each day so well that it seemed that they were never here. We were told it would take three days, and the installation was done exactly on time. Their name fits them well. We would many more stars then five.

Fantastic! They installed a 4 head minisplit system for us. The whole process was quick and easy. I will use them again if I ever need to install a new system. We were overwhelmed by the level of professionalism and kindness that was displayed while they were installing the system. They even engaged with our 3 year old and found ways that he could help to make it special for him (like installing batteries in the remote). They kept the house really clean through the 3 day install process and made sure to move all furniture back to where it was each day when they left (it would have been easier on them if they hadn’t, but it was meaningful that they did). All in all we are very impressed. Highly recommend!

I used Reliable Tech for two properties to install HVAC . First, I was very impressed with the receptionist. She was very friendly and helpful and I liked the fact that I never had to leave a message. I called multiple companies looking for estimates and I found Reliable Tech the easiest to use in terms of scheduling the estimate. She was also helpful throughout the whole process. The estimator was so knowledgeable and found solutions even though both properties had difficult challenges. Other estimators talked about how difficult the work would be and that was reflected in the quotes. I was also surprised and pleased how quickly the work was scheduled. Once the work began, I found the technicians were also very knowledgeable and I would say creative in approaching the challenges. In the first property they had to remove and replace the furnace in a tiny crawl space. The second property was on a third floor and the compressor was on the ground floor. The technicians were hard workers and very efficient and personable. They kept me informed of their arrival and schedule for each day. They arrived when they said they would arrive. They explained everything and always asked if I had questions throughout the entire process. I was also very pleased with their response when there was an issue with the thermostat after the work was complete and they came out to fix it right away. I am very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them.

BEWARE!!! This company is a rip off!! They charged OVER $200 for a few minutes to come out to my place without ever doing ANYTHING!! Then I'm given FALSE information about my HVAC system. I had a decond opinion done by another LICENSED, BONDED, INSURED company and they came in about $19,000K ++ LESS then the quote I got from this comapnies tech. They REFUSED to do a quote in writing, VERY SUSPECIOUS and NOT GOOD FOR BUSINESS PRACTICE.

JUST BEWARE, GET A SECOND QUOTE because they will try to take THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of dollars from you without any real evidence that the system is completely failed!!

Reliable Tech was a lifesaver (literally) for us. They were the first company to correctly diagnose the problem with our propane furnace system (it was unsafe! not just needing an adjustment to fuel flow). They then came up with different options (based on budget) and explained the challenges of our old house ducting (which limited our choices). They scheduled us quickly as we had to shut down the furnaces and within a week we had a new furnace system that is working great. They were there on time every day and they worked non-stop and maintained a clean workspace and cleaned up every day end of day. I will be calling them again in the future! They are honest, hard working and just great.

The team that came out to install my mini splits were very professional. They know what they are doing and will bend over backwards to give you what you want. I had so many questions and they answered all of them. They even came out a few times because I kept on changing my mind on where the units should go. Together we decided on the best location and I love them. They taught me how to use them and told me to call if I forget. They are now a part of my extended family.

My residential gas hot water heater was replaced on Sept. 19, 2023. Angelo did the initial inspection, recommendation and quote. Rachel was helpful and courteous on the phone to arrange the installation date. Julio and Robert did an excellent job removing the old unit, installing the new one up to current codes and cleaning up at the end of the job. Over the past few days, Reliable Tech has replaced our Heat and A/C system with Mitsubishi's Hyper Heat mini-split system including 2 heat pumps and multiple indoor wall and ceiling mounted units. They also removed our old 75 gal hot water heater and replaced it with a Navien state of the art tankless water heater that included a recycled hot water feature that has resulted in almost instant hot water for all of our hot water needs. Angelo and Joe led their team's effort with accountability, timeliness, dependability, and professionalism. They have earned our respect and trust. And we are proud to recommend them to others.

Reliable Tech did a great job replacing our gas water heater with a heat pump water heater. They were not the lowest bidder but their price included everything, even a unique air-flow solution that required some on-site ingenuity. Kudos to Joseph, Robert and Daniel for getting the job done professionally and on time. Heat pump water heaters are far more efficient than gas heaters and don't emit methane, a powerful poisonous greenhouse gas. We encourage Reliable Tech to inform their customers of this option and to include this service in their list of offerings (below). The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) provides lots of funding for electrifying buildings. Its a way to save money and create a healthier home environment.

Angelo provided a prompt estimate after arriving on time for his appointment.
This was a big job, requiring the removal of an old boiler and 80 gal water heater, then installing a Navien Combi unit. It took a full 5 days with two men working every day.
Joseph and Peter were very professional, answered all our questions, and went out of their way to assure we had cold water back on the first day, then hot water by the end of day 3. They were responsive to my requests about protecting the area around the work zone, and they cleaned up after themselves each night and at the end of the project.
Each day I received a text and email telling me they were on the way. The office staff has been very pleasant and easy to work with.
Overall, this is a first class operation; Joseph and Peter were very experienced and from my perspective, never tried to use shortcuts.

Reliable Tech installed a Mitsubishi ducted heat pump for me. The installation was clean, and the technicians courteous and friendly. I am extremely happy to have made the transition from propane. This is the first day of operation for the heat pump (in cooling mode). I thought of the cooling as a nice but unnecessary bonus. But here we are in the midst of the most intense heat wave ever recorded. I never thought I needed cooling for my adobe house but things are changing.

Reliable Tech installed a mini split system that heats and cools my older adobe home, replacing my propane heating system, a few years ago. They came out to check the refrigerant, at my request, on the three compressors. Their response time, within 24 hours, was superb. The technicians were not only knowledgeable and efficient, but polite and friendly as well. I am extremely pleased with Reliable Tech’s products, installation, and now their maintenance.

Reliable Tech did an excellent job providing a wide array of options and then performing removal and replacement of our inefficient furnace with a new complete high efficiency HVAC system. It took a while to get the new components in stock due to supply chain issues, but installation was performed in the time frame proposed, by a very knowledgeable, conscientious, and trustworthy team. We had purchased a mini-split system from Reliable Tech in 2017. We didn't have major problems with it, and when we had issues they did come out and fix them, however no one told us we needed to have regular maintenance. The other day the heat wouldn't come on at all, and the tech did arrive quickly, cleaned the filters, but said the whole system needed a thorough cleaning in order for problems not to return in a couple of months. The terrible part was the price they quoted, it would have been about $3000.!!! I called around and got 5 other estimates, all MUCH lower. None of the others asked for $589 fee for each unit (we had 3 that needed cleaning) - BEFORE the hourly rate of $159, for what they estimated would be 6 to 9 hours!! Based on this experience I would not recommend this company.

I've used Reliable Tech for a range of services in Santa Fe for the past five years and have come to depend on them as my primary provider for those services based on the positive experiences that I've had.

Reliable Tech responded quickly to an emergency situation with condensation pump that would not turn off and made a very large noise. So loud I had to turn off the breaker to the entire system, there no AC during 90 degree days. They sent a Tech out in 24 hours and he diagnosed the issue and replaced the pump.
