Just got my witness test done after the initial install. Panels are up and working great! I really enjoy the app showing panel production throughout the day. Installers were very professional and very knowledgeable, no complaints.

Tawni was exceptionally responsive through all of my questions after the contract agreement was sent. She got answers to any questions I had and made sure to follow up after appointments.
I also want to give credit to Anthony during the sales portion. I ran you through the wringer of questions back-and-forth over a few months! But you never got frustrated, always had educating points for me to consider. So thank you very much for sticking with me and getting me set up.

My intention for going solar is mostly in relation towards the future and what changes may come. I’m very glad I went with Wolf River Electric and look forward to all the benefits I’ll enjoy!

With the 30% tax credit being eliminated after 2025 and energy prices expect to go up 4.9% in 2026 in our area, we had to quickly turn the idea of solar into a reality. Amber gave us a thorough presentation and the costs were competitive with other local solar companies. What convinced us to spend a little more with Wolf River was due to a few factors: 1) They could complete the work prior to the end of 2025, 2) The do all the permitting and getting permission from the city to add solar, 3) We were able to do financing with excellent interest rates through their partners rather than having to seek financing through our bank, and 4) I have not seen a 40 year warranty anywhere else!

Always polite and helpful, the crew worked through horrendous weather. We had an overnight rain of 3 1/2" .The guys showed up early & joked & smiled the entire time. They do an amazing job with pride in their own work and their company: Wolf River Electric. I highly recommend them from the salesman to the office & all.

I had a problem initially with Wolf River support for my solar system, but after I brought my concern to their attention I was totally surprised by a great customer service call from one of the company's founders, in person! Justin resolved my issue, was very supportive and I came away with a completely positive feeling. It's not often a company goes the extra mile to make certain their product is as promised, but Justin making sure everything was made right gives me great satisfaction. I got a 3.2 kw solar system installed by Wolf River, it it was installed within a few weeks of the first consultation , they took care all the paperwork and permits and the workmanship is high quality, it was a pleasure working with them and I highly recommend their products and services.

I’m very satisfied with wolf river electric. When I started this process I had to chose between them and blue raven solar. Wolf river by far had the better pitch. They were very professional and up front about everything. They made the process simple and easy to understand which helped me a lot since I was nervous at first. We had a solar system installed by Wolf River on the roof of our home and I HIGHLY recommend using Wolf River. I was very nervous about this project because we have had some poor experience with home projects in the past. We spent hours vetting out 4 different companies for this project, some local and some regional or national, and Wolf River really stood out. They had the most competitive price AND the best materials. (Those two never happen together!) We worked with Gabe VanRiette. I would highly recommend requesting him if you choose to go with Wolf River. He was incredibly fast to respond and was very knowledgeable. Any question or concern we had along the way was quickly addressed. Our system is now up and running and everything went very smoothly. We even had a hiccup with a project manager change in the middle of the project, but saw little to no delay. 5 stars!

I am so happy I chose to go with Wolf River - they explained the process on the front end and the install was very professional - I also like that they house multiple services outside of solar - it is one of the biggest reasons I opted for this company - and I was supporting a MN company - wish I would have done it sooner!

I'm very happy with my interaction with WRE. They drew up a design to meet my needs: number of panels to offset my current usage and roof design to optimize energy creation. They took care of all of the permits, ordered materials, and scheduled installs. It was a pretty quick process to be able to own my energy.

The company was a breeze to work with. They kept us informed of the process as it went along, and were always timely when dealing with the electric company. The install took one day and can’t wait to see savings!

And it is well worth noting that the Roofing Department of Wolf River Electric is an excellent resource; they helped with roof repairs during the solar install, and we are now using them for a separate roofing project on another property; our project manager Jay has been exceptional to work with.

We are now reaping the very real financial benefits of going solar. This was an excellent investment!

Wolf River did a great job of installing our solar. There were many hoops to jump through, but they were by our side the whole way. The employees at Wolf River were very professional and very informative on every situation. Other companies told us it would be 8 months before they could even get us on their schedules. It was a long process, but worth it. We started in January and started producing in April. Would do again!

Really liked working with the sales representative (Jason) who has since left the Wolf River organization. System was installed and after a few long delays is working as designed. The system was put online and as a consumer I requested additional information on how the system operates, how to perform an emergency shutdown, what maintenance is required and product warranty, which hasn’t been communicated. Not impressed with Wolf River’s customer service follow up; during the project installation; one of the technicians incidentally tracked roofing sealant onto my new carpet. A number of unsuccessful efforts were made to remove the stains and the decision was made to replace the carpet in the affected room. Going on over 3 months (+) of waiting and the situation is still unresolved. I’ve now taken the carpet replacement project into my own hands (just got tired of the run-a-round). I’m holding my final payment in escrow pending the carpet replacement, we’ll see how everything works out. Appreciate the lower utility bills and the fact I’m doing something positive for the environment.

Weather was terrible but guys did great job. They got everything done as planned. They were transparent about any problems and handled them well. In the end they explained system to me in ordinary and easy to understand language. Very happy with it!

Just had my solar service with Wolf River Electric and turned on last month. Their customer service is terrific. I had a proposal a year or so ago, but had to have my roof replaced first.
They followed up with me, sent a new, improved proposal and we are signed up! The solar will be sufficient to supply my entire house, including the EV charger in the garage!
They even handled the financing and the lender gave me an incredible rate. The monthly cost is just about what I am currently paying of electric service, locked in forever.
Very excited to "go solar."

I first connected with Wolf River from a cold call. Normally I end those calls quickly and move on in life, but I was sort of interested in solar and had heard about Wolf River Electric from some of their marketing. The person on the call answered more of my initial questions than I would have expected and we set up a follow up zoom conference a couple days later. The next person I worked with (Hayden) was even better. He had already put time into customizing a plan for my house and helped explain the process and answer questions.

Our install went extremely smoothly and Wolf River took care of all the hookup permissions and requirements. I loved our $30 utility bill last month compared with the much higher bill we used to have. If you're looking at solar, Wolf River is a great partner to help you get it done.

Wolf River Electric made the whole process of installing solar panels from start to finish very clear, easy, and hands off. Great technical knowledge and good communication throughout the entire process as the project progressed through all the different steps of approval and installation. They took care of all the behind the scenes paperwork so we didn't have to worry about filling out a form incorrectly, etc. I would recommend them to anyone interested in getting solar panels in the future.
EDIT 6/19/25- Disappointed with the solar panel monitoring app system that comes with the panels. Panels have been installed for less than a year and already they made several changes to the monitoring app including limiting its connectivity capabilities and now they want to charge a monthly/yearly subscription fee just to get the data from your panels. Called Wolf River and they said there is nothing they can do since its not their app. Proceed with caution and read the fine print.
