I never write reviews but I had to give a shout out to the crew at NHH Roofing Plus for the fantastic job they did with a complete roofing and siding job they did for me. Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently from start to finish. I was informed well in advance of every step in the process. A special thanks to Jeff Chromy for being on the spot with emergency roof repair and handling the insurance issues. Todd did a great job with all the logistics before and after the job. The NHH crew of Kirk, Shorty, Sam, and Jeff Borst, along with Craig and Gordy did a fantastic job. They even lifted and moved my 6x18 dog kennel with an attached roof and put it back again. When our area had storm damage, NHH was the first to come and give an estimate for repairs. Being local, I like using local businesses when possible. Quality of work was exceptional, and they handled more than I expected with the insurance company. Basically, a great company to work with.

We had NHH inspect our roof for storm damage. Jeff Chromy came out and inspected the roof and gutters and siding. He noted substantial damage to the roof. We scheduled our insurance adjuster to inspect the roof and Jeff accompanied him during this inspection to support the damage assessment. Our insurance adjuster agreed the roof needed replacing. NHH provided a quote that met our needs and was within the claim amount provided by the insurance company. Within a month a crew was scheduled to remove and replace the roof on the house and detached shed. The NHH crew worked long days, 10+ hours, to complete the job. Their work was excellent, roof looks excellent and they cleaned up all waste materials, shingles, and nails. Following the installation, a few days later, another NHH employee came to the house to perform a quality inspection and make sure all debris was removed and another magnet sweep for any rogue nails. This was a nice nice end of job finishing touch. We received a new roof, within the insurance policy estimate and we were completely satisfied with the end result.

I've worked with NHH on a few large commercial properties with shingled and EPDM roofing, as well as snow guards on a metal roof. They do fantastic work all around. Jeff responded quickly to our call for help after a storm toppled two trees into our home. He made temporary repairs and worked with us every step of the way (including negotiating with our insurance company) to get the repairs completed. The quality of work and speed was great! However, the communciation was awful. It took nearly a year and a half for them to contact me about payment after the work was completed- and it took another month or two longer for me to get an invoice so I could pay it.

There was an issue with my garage roofing(structurally) that was an additional cost and I was NEVER contacted about it for approval or explanation before they went ahead and did the work. I only found out about it when I got the bill.

It had snowed a day or two before they planned to do the siding, so, without alerting or asking me, they plowed my yard and ran over my new lilac bushes when they did it. I was pretty upset considering I'd just planted them the spring earlier and the bushes were $35 each.

I get a lot of compliments on the work that they did- I just wish the customer service and communication was better.

Absolutely professional from start to finish handing my insurance claim for the extent of 2 years! NHH's crews were very friendly and respectful to the working environment; they even took time to play fetch with the dog from time to time! Great job on the craftsmanship in replacing my roofs; both asphalt and steel, soffits, facias, and gutters. I would hire again, without question, for any house projects in the future!

We used NHH to replace our hail-damaged shingle roof with a steel roof. The quality of the job is everything we could have wanted in both workmanship and the final appearance. On multiple occasions we have received unsolicited compliments on how good the place looks. The work crew both listened to and acted upon any concerns we had during the installation. I'm giving four instead of five stars in regards to communication within the office. I will say, however, that once this was noted NHH did what they needed to do in order to correct that. If you want a quality installation using quality materials don't hesitate to check them out.

Beware of this company! Save yourself the hassle and avoid NHH. We just needed a simple roof replacement and some gutters. Roof is finally been done over a year+ later but still waiting on the gutters. They do not respond or communicate pretty much at all during the process. Unexplained delays in getting the work scheduled and completed.

Trey was easy to work with, very accommodating with meeting at times after work. The company completed the roofing job in one day. The window wraps were done in one day. The worked with my insurance company to help cover additional costs , as my house was older and had only decking with gaps and needed new sheeting on the old part of the house. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing roof repair.

NHH did an excellent job replacing our roof. Everything from the initial contact all the way through the final cleanup went very smoothly and we were kept up to date throughout the whole process. Everyone we worked with for our hail damaged roof was professional, knowledgeable and prompt. I was referred by a friend who worked with Trey and we were lucky enough to have him out to inspect our roof. Trey was also there to meet our insurance claim person and walked us through the claim process. Our roof was installed while we were on vacation and they kept us informed every step of the way. I highly recommend NHH!

Due to strong damaging storms this spring roofing companies were extremely busy. NHH was the only company that responded in a timely manner and came out to do an inspection. After the insurance adjuster gave approval for replacement NHH ordered materials and was out for repair in 2weeks. The crew was well organized and completed the job and cleanup in one day. I would definitely recommend NHH for any roof repairs you may require.

They came out to my place after and found hail damage that I did not see. Worked well with me to get the repairs needed for the hail damage. They were very good at notifying me when repairs would start and when materials would be here. Each day the site was cleaned up and no messes were left. Overall treated very well and they were very professional.

We used NHH to replace half our windows, replace siding, and replace gutters. We had reached out to a few companies before even closing on our new home to estimate the amount of money needed to fix the most necessary items from our inspection. Jeff Chromy reached out almost immediately, like seriously less than an hour I think, even in the height of summer, and suggested to come by ASAP as a storm had come through the area recently and to see if we had a chance to propose any damages be covered by the seller's insurance. There ended up not being any damage, but Jeff was extremely responsive and friendly from the start. One other company never responded, one was actually super rude to me during the estimate process, one never showed up to complete an estimate after setting an appointment, and the last was a highly rated local company as well, but their price was slightly higher than NHH. Ok, business sold to NHH !

Jeff was great in answering questions promptly and providing a few different options for us. He was honest and straight forward, I never felt any pressure or felt like I was being manipulated like I've felt from some other businesses I've been in contact with for various repair or construction companies. The crew was super friendly, very professional, and excellent workers, arriving promptly in the morning and worked hard all day! The project from start to finish was exactly what was estimated. I wish I remembered their names, I'm terrible at that, I believe Sam was possibly the crew lead? But anyways, they were a great team and I was very impressed with their work. They were also patient with my puppy wanting to greet them in the morning, as a guardian dog, he needed to check out who was on his territory!

What a very great place!! We just recently had hail damage and a new roof installed. The day after the storm my phone and house absolutely blew up calls knocking wanting to take a look. I called NHH cause I like supporting local smaller businesses. I talked to the owner who actually came out to my place. First impressions are everything I was pleased to see someone show up with a normal work truck not lifted flashy with there name all over the side like they spend all there profit on there vehicle witch is there choice to. When a tree fell on the house, NHH replaced the siding and roofing. Excellent work, better than new! They were prompt, courteous, and professional. Watch your estimate, watch the work, watch EVERY THING, get all everything including work order.
My contractor came and we got everything put together. Estimate came in better then others, so I went with NHH.
The roofers showed up and started working. There was no drip edge ordered, even tho it was in the estimate. My contractor told me they re-use drip edge..., Mind you, majority of my house did not originally have drip edge. This was not realized until the had a company drop drip edge off. The color did not match so I told them I was not allowing it on my house. (They continued to roof.)
Contractor called me I told him I did not want the drip edge face nailed, as it should be done correct. He insured me it would. Needless to say, it was not possible af putting the shingles on. I contacted him again. Contractor came and suggested I leave the drip edge and apply gutter edge when I re side, they got me enough to do my house, no charge to me.
I agreed.
Came to paying the final bill. I was over charged for drip edge and gutter edge I advised my contractor. After he looked at the estimate and told me that was for the gutter edge they had given me, I reminded him it was at no charge. He re figured the ft and agreed.. I also pointed out that there was a porta potty charge, but no porta potty was delivered. He said that gets put on everyones, but would take that charge off.

They ended up getting the job done, and "making it right" but if you go with them make sure you don't get frauded and check your entire estimate. I saved myself nearly 300.00 for checking the estimate. Also if they charge you for drip edge, new drip edge should go on! That's what you are paying for.

Make sure you are home and sitting in the yard watching them work.

Avoid! I contacted them to fix some storm damage more than 2 years ago and the jobs STILL are not completed. They showed up to do the roof within the first 2 months, although didn’t bother telling me first and I had just been discharged from the hospital with my newborn the day before. A year later they redid my gutters but put on the wrong colored downspouts and put them in the wrong places, even skipping an entire downspout. I contacted the manager who said he would be taking over handling my claim, then spoke to him twice and haven’t heard from him since. Stay away from them unless you have the time and energy to constantly hound them to get the job done correctly.

Update:
The company did eventually complete the job, which included redoing all my siding. However, there were more problems with that. They installed the siding incorrectly but using nails where they were not supposed to. They and had to get the manufacturer involved to figure out how to fix it in a way that would not void the warranty. Even though they did complete the job, it was not worth the hassle and I would not work with them again.
