We needed a new dock for our house in Alton Bay and reached out to WIS looking for a quote. Austin was amazing and got back to me right away and came out to look at the property. He was so responsive, answered all of my questions, and offered alternatives in varying budgets to help with the cost of the project. The project lead, Nate, is also amazing. He was at the property doing the work and even came by a few weeks later to install the cleats and whips for our boat so they’d align properly instead of just installing them and hoping for the best. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with WIS and could not recommend them more for your dock project. Although we didn’t use them for interior reno, we do have some projects ahead of us that we will surely be calling on them for. Thank you WIS!!!

WIS built an awesome new island camp for us. The quality is great and the final build exceeded our expectations. Mike Metcalfe (owner) is very professional and treats his customers fairly. He is responsive to customers needs/concerns and stands behind his work. His crew and foreman (Austin – also fantastic to work with) deserve a lot of credit as well. Our build was up a very steep hill, and it is amazing that they were able to transport all of the building supplies up it. Mike also had some creative ideas to improve upon our plans that didn’t increase our budget and those changes really enhanced the end result. Whether it was to check on the progress of the build or move numerous pieces of furniture out to the island, they always arrived when they said would and were extremely helpful. We do not live close to the lake so it was also beneficial that Mike kept in touch via text. Mike is very reasonable and we enjoyed working with him on this project. We will definitely use his services again in the future and I would highly recommend him, especially to island owners in need of construction services.

Mike and WIS have been outstanding to work with. Here is a letter I just sent to them regarding dock steps and platform they built.
" We were up at the house for the past few days - and I just want to let you know that the platform is really excellent. It provides a perfect area for a couple of chairs to sit, and the way Austin did the steps is exactly how I hoped they would be - leading directly to the natural rock steps. From the water - it is in perfect contour with the land, and is hardly noticeable.

The whole thing: the steps down to the dock, and now the platform, have enhanced our enjoyment so much. I really just want to extend thanks to you and your entire crew for the excellent work you have done. We are extremely pleased."
