603 Solar did an amazing job installing a solar array on my garage roof and backside of my business this past month. From start to finish the project went smoothly, with clear and regular communication from Sean and timely, and clean electrical work and install. The panels look great (they blend in quite well with the roof) and are working exactly as expected. If you’re in the market for solar this is absolutely the company to work with!

603 was absolutely wonderful to work with for the solar install! From the estimate right on through the project, they had great communication, they did clean work, and made sure it was hassle free. I would not hesitate to work with them again and again.

We finally. decided to install solar and as 30% tax reduction reduced the pay back to about 7 years. I requested 8 quotations from "local" (NH) companies and found out local company did not mean they were local. 603 Solar is local NH/Me and when asked about it, I was told they might be expanding wider locally. 603 Solar's Steve came to the house for obvious reasons before explaining and and helping us understand more than what we thought we knew. Solar 603's quote was delivered and was the lowest of the group. I went with them even after another "local" solar company told me they were going under, blah, blah, but when I questioned 603 they convinced us this was the best and lowest choice. I had two other quotes lower their price by $1,000 to entice me, but they were still higher. The 12 year Workmanship Warranty made it work for me. Communication was superior and questions were quickly answered. The 3 week wait for permits was the worst. Installation was delayed from a Friday to a Monday because something. about snow on the roof that Friday. Monday they were here early (with excellent communications) and completed it by late afternoon. Town inspection was a joke and NHEC finally showed up and we went active. Impressive was the installation of conduit from one side of the house to the other was run as the electrician said it was more aesthetically pleasing to the exterior. Yes it was: and it was their choice! 603 Solar has their projects in order and execute them as quickly as possible. I am convinced we made the right choice. Highest Ratings from us. Paul & Kathy

Our installation with 603 Solar was quick and easy. Sean (one of the owners) and Peter came out to give us the presentation and it was very thorough. In the weeks that followed Sean provided just enough follow up to answer any questions, but not so much that we felt like we were being haunted. Once we decided to go forward with 603 Solar the project moved pretty quickly. The longest part was waiting for the approvals and permits to come through. Once that was done we were on the schedule and up and running in less than two weeks. The crew was professional and polite even taking time to talk to my grandson. We even got a visit from Zach (the other owner) during the two day project. We’ve been up and running for about two weeks now and we are very happy with our purchase and the decision to trust 603 Solar with such a large project.

We can't say enough about the work of 603 Solar and the way they partnered in every aspect of the process for our home in Durham, NH. Zach called right away after our initial inquiry and within days we were in process to have panels installed on our barn. Zach and Sean communicated well at every turn, and they worked with the local inspectors and even with Eversource to arrange a transformer upgrade on the pole that services out house. The team at 603 Solar was exceptional from start to finish with a large ground mount array in NH. Joey D was especially instrumental to getting through the small town approval process and was available and responsive when questions arose.

We had Joey from 603 Solar come out in Oct to go over the details and give us a quote. Their pricing was competive in comparison with other solar installers plus I liked the fact that they were locally based. In Jan their installer Grateful Electric came out to complete the installation. They were professional and did a great job. We went online Jan 15 and since Feb the panels have been producing at least 1MW or more of electrical output. The last electric bill that I had was in March and it was only about $13. As of right now I actually have a credit on my electric bill. Joey and the rest of the 603 Solar team did a great job from start to finish. If you are looking for a turnkey Solar installer that will take care of everything from start to finish, you should definitely take a look at 603 Solar.

603 Solar is terrific. Unlike other pushy solar companies, the sales process is very low-pressure. Their system designers are engineers, not salespeople, and their install crews act very professionally and do the job quickly and neatly. Had my system installed last year in December. Was waiting til the summer to give a full opinion. Everything works great and our system is easy to use.
603 was great to work with last year, they pretty much took care of everything and connected us to financing, etc. Pretty smooth experience overall.

I've long wanted solar for my North Woodstock, NH property but trees were blocking maximum solar gain. When the trees developed rot, that was all I needed to clear the area and commence my solar partner search.

I developed a list of 10+ NH based solar providers, checked out their reviews and studied their websites. I then created a list of the top 4 providers and reached out. All engaged with me, came to the property and delivered proposals. One proposal stood out for the degree of engagement from their Solar Advisor Jon Speltz. Jon visited the property twice and was extremely responsive to my questions including tax and environmental benefits. Having the best price only made it more attractive. The installation was done professionally, and the installer was able to add a snow fence as I have one radon vent pipe on the side of the solar array. The install was completed in spring 2024 and the system is now operational.

While it's early days I've gone through 2 power company billing cycles and the system is attaining the goals 603 Solar and I set from the outset. I'm super happy with the system, Solar Advisor Jon Speltz and the entire team from 603 Solar.

We were undertaking a fairly large project that included two key components: Mini Splits (heat pumps) and Solar. So, we had two great examples on opposite extremes. Luckily for us, 603 Solar made their portion of this project a breeze.

From the very beginning, they communicated about the schedules, where things stood (ex. awaiting the Town Permit), when we could expect delivery of the equipment and more.

They then went on to provide the most competent installation team ever (Tyler and Caleb were outstanding). Such professionalism on every aspect of the install. Day 1 they had all the racking done for our 48 panel system, all the electrical boxes put in. Day 2 they finished the panel installation and running all of the wires. By Day 3, they just had to come out for a few minutes to liven up the system. Photos speak for themselves. Everything neat, tidy, labeled and organized.

Sean and Tyler kept in constant contact with what to expect next from the utility, the inspectors (because, yes, they pulled permits ... Inspector even said "we never have to worry about their work; it's always done perfectly"). Sean also came out to take a close look at the work, make sure we knew how the system operates and how to use the app.

Marian even followed up with more ways to save by selling our RECs (Renewable Energy Credits). Every single one of their team was fantastic.

A positive experience from start to finish! Steve our contact was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Helped us fine tune our system based on his expertise and some pretty cool software that estimates power generated so we could calculate a system with the best ROI for our situation. The installers, Grateful Electric, took the time to develop a system that kept the integrity of our aesthetics, as we just upgraded all exterior finishes. Left me conduit so I could paint to match my house exterior. Would offer anyone a referral to Solar 603, plus with a 30% tax credit from the government, it’s a no brainer. So glad we made the move to solar with Solar 603!!

I had Joey come out and meet me to discuss options for solar late 2023. He was upfront about cost, production and time frame for install. Everything was completed in about 4 hours on the day of install and Joey was accessible by phone and email during the process to answer questions and explain things. Happy with the end result and would recommend 603 Solar for solar installs.

Wading through sketchy contractors is the most daunting part of getting solar. 603 Solar stood out among their competition from the start for their professionalism and organization. The solar advisor Jonathan was an excellent guide through the process. The project was completed as expected, on time, and on budget.

I had been researching different solar options for several years and decided to hire 603 Solar for the system design and installation at our house in Madison, NH. Steve came out to the house and conducted a very detailed site survey and fully discussed how the system would be installed and what to expect as far as power production. Steve is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I decided to proceed with 603 Solar and our project was very complex as it involved installing the solar panels on a stand-alone barn roof, installing underground electrical conduit for the power cabling run to the main house panel, etc. I also had the barn roof replaced prior to installing the panels as the roof was 15 years old and I did not want to put panels on an aging roof. I hired a roofing contractor who was able to get the work done well in advance of the solar installation, so everything worked out. Steve and I coordinated the different contractors and site prep work, and everything went off without a hitch. Steve and I also discussed future expansion of the system and the 603 Solar electrician installed heavier gauge power cables to support any future expansion. This will make adding additional panels much easier when the time comes. 603 Solar also handled the town electrical permit application and coordinated with Eversource to connect our system to their grid. The system has been up and running for 10 days or so now and the power production is exceeding my expectations. The system is producing 50+ kw-hrs a day even with light clouds in the sky. Production drops on rainy days but this to be expected. Overall, 603 Solar was great to work with and I highly recommended them. A+ on our project.

My husband and I have been talking about solar on and off for 20 years but the whole process seemed so daunting that we kept putting it off. I got solar panel pricing from 5 contractors, and selected 603 Solar. The process can be a long one, but from signing the contract, to turning the "on" switch, took 7 weeks. I was impressed with Joey Deluca, who came to my property, answered all my questions, and gave me a price for the project. The permitting process went well, and the team that installed the panels was competent and efficient. I recommend 603 Solar.

Fantastic experience from initial meeting to turning the solar system on. 603 Solar made what we thought was a complicated process extremely simple. Shout out especially to Steve Cavallaro, our consultant, who was always available to explain the process and technical details of the system itself and the process from design, inspections, installation, and turning the system on. Steve explained the process to us and, as it turned out, that's exactly how the process went. His time estimates were spot on, even for things such as Power Co. and Town inspections that were out of 603's control. Very impressed with the company especially since they are local to Southern NH.

I was referred to 603 by a friend who had researched the options carefully, and I had a great experience. The equipment installed is better than the options offered by others (Enphase inverters, 425W Q Cells panels), and Jeff Cantara took care of the business end while Grateful Electric (603's contractor) did a great job on the installation. No problems with Eversource or my town, whatsoever. When EV prices come down---there are way too many coming to market---I'll buy a car that can act as a generator for the house, and add more panels to feed it.

603 Solar has been great. Our "salesman" Jeff was very informative and honest. He actually talked us out of spending additional money on "add-ons" that a previous solar company pushed us to do. Jeff also made several revisions to our design at our request so we could get things "just right".

603 kept us informed throughout the entire process, their installers showed up when they said they would and didn't leave any mess/debris behind when they were finished.

The entire process from our initial meeting with Jeff to when we were able to "turn on" our new net meter took less than 2 months.. and part of that time was waiting for permits and the utility company.

603Solar had ‘Grateful Electric’ set up the panels and wiring. They were outstanding (am writing separate review for them)
Their work was executed so beautifully that originally the Building Inspector couldn’t find the panels and had to circle the property. Twice. Incidentally (and he told me I could quote him) 603Solar is the only company he hadn’t heard/seen ANY poor work on installed solar (or the business dealings) in his jurisdiction. He had only good things to say.

The system became fully operational in early December, which was actually fun timing for us, seeing the array producing so abundantly in the “off season”

Our electric company Inspector also had (and had only heard) positive reviews for 603Solar as well. He was also pleased with the neat work done by Grateful Electric (though he also couldn’t find the panels first trip around the property. My wish for unobtrusive: Granted!)

Good experience with 603 solar. Sales person Joey was ‘user friendly’, very responsive and easy to reach throughout entire process, and very professional. Same with owners. Install (subcontractor) was excellent in terms of quality, workmanship, courteous and cleaned up site. Install did take couple days longer than expected due to snow storm in the middle of install. Yet they powered through snow and cold to complete job better than my mail carrier!
There was decent delay of 4+ months from signing papers to beginning install. Some due to re-design requirements, Eversource delays, and other. In my opinion job should have been completed a month or two sooner all things considered.
However, from the moment install was complete the app was up and running and I could see exact production of each pannel collectively and
individually. And the app shows my electricity usage and production and how much electricity going back into the grid hour by hour. Day by day and week by week. Very slick system.
I am a few weeks in and have all the data one could want from energy system. It is winter and production is far from peak, yet we are already producing more electricity than we are using most days! Too soon to tell how accurate 603 Solar’s predicted energy production is from the panels. will report back on that one!

Update to post 5 months in: very happy with 603 Solar! Feels like solar production on pace with 603’s predictions. As days get longer we are really catching up with production versus usage. We got a ways to go, but if the summer over produces energy it should catch up with the Lower winter production and get close to breaking even for the year.

Great experience Joey DeLuca was no pressure, laid back, knowledgeable pleasure to work with. The installation went smoothly. Joey kept in touch with us every step of the way. A very honest and straightforward company to work with!

Working with 603 Solar and, in particular, Jeff Cantara, was so easy and straight forward. After not having our messages returned by other local solar companies, we found 603 Solar and we are glad we did. Our initial phone call was answered and Jeff Cantera was assigned as our project lead. Jeff came to our home and walked us through the process and put our project on a schedule that exceeded our expectations.

Very happy with my experience with 603 solar and Jeff Cantara my solar advisor. Price was fair, communication was good, and their team was helpful at each step, including getting financing. Project was completed ahead of schedule, and now my roof is making more electricity than we are using. very satisfying to be more a part of the clean energy solutions to climate change. Should have done this six years ago when we bought the house!

I’ll make the long story short: If your phone number starts with "603", and you want a solar system, then call 603 Solar. They are as good as advertised, and work hard to earn the stellar ratings you see online. They are the real deal.

For background information: The solar system installed is a 12kw Net-metered grid-tied rooftop system on the Seacoast of NH. Installed the last week of November 2023.

Pre-Installation: I called 603 Solar after finding them in a Google search, so they were not referred nor do I have any pre-existing relationship with them. Had a solid conversation with their office manager, Marian, and was set up for an on-site evaluation with their designer, Jeff Cantara. Jeff and I met at my home just 3 days later. Here’s where things started to go very right: there are designers that design, and there are designers that KNOW their stuff cold and share what they know. Jeff is the latter type. What was supposed to be a 30 minute conversation turned into 90 minutes, delving into design ideas, efficiency discussions, a sidebar about bicycles, EV’s and their charging, even how we could run the cabling to keep it as “clean” as possible. He came prepared with drawing ideas, too, clearly having done his homework before our meeting. Personable, extremely knowledgeable, and good with dogs, too, Jeff was outstanding to work with.

Design: Jeff send the proposed design over literally the next day. The design was great. We did get quotes from 2 of their competitors; 603’s quote was in the middle of the other two. We signed the contract that week, and 603 got to work with permits. I heard from a lot of their group, including Erin and Sean, during this process, keeping us informed of everything that was going on along the way.

Installation: The day after Unitil gave their approval, Marian was on the phone with me to schedule an install date.  Happily, their installer, Zach Olster, and his crew had an opening just two weeks later. A few days before the install, all of the equipment arrived on pallets, and was left exactly where I asked them to leave it in the driveway. Zach and his team showed up right on time: they said they’d be here at 8am, it was 7:59am when they pulled into the driveway. Zach said they’d have it done in one day, as promised, and they got to work. And work they did: clean, fast, friendly. They did a fantastic job. Everything is aligned spot-on, square, right, and tight. Solid workmanship. They clearly take pride in a job well done. They were cleaned up and gone by 5pm with not so much as a scrap of plastic left behind. Jeff called me midway though the day just to check on how the installation was going, too.

Commissioning: 603 Solar had town inspection the next day! The system passed inspection with zero comments. 603 submitted the paperwork to Unitil for the tie in then; Unitil approved it about a week later and swapped out our meter to a net-meter the week afterward. Again, the day after the meter was installed and the system came online, Jeff was on the phone with me to set up a time to walk us though the Enphase app. 603 also submitted all of the paperwork to earn our SREC credits; I just signed.

I realize that you may be thinking “Yeah, but the person writing this review only wrote the good stuff, they glossed over the bad!”. Here’s why there’s no bad written here: because there was no bad. Literally every interaction I had, every call, every everything, went well. It was more like working with friends than working with a company. That’s a strange place for me to be, as I’ve thrown contractors out of my home though the years. I went into this with a “here we go again” mindset, but came away wanting to invite them over for burgers on the grill this summer.

603 Solar is based right here in Exeter, they live and work in the communities we live in, and clearly wish to deliver a superior product and service and stand behind their work every step of the way. They’re our neighbors. They have earned every positive word of this review.

Great experience, Jeff Cantara was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions in simple ways. Schedule and installation happened exactly when it was promised. Installation team was punctual and very professional, site was maintained clean during the installation and by the end it was like they were never there.

Jon and 603 Solar were fantastic to work with for our solar project. They were knowledgeable, fair, and did a very clean job on the install. The pricing at this company was significantly cheaper than when compared to one of the big brands, while still providing us with top of the line panels/equipment.

Solar might seem expensive until you realize you can potentially 100% or more power your entire property from it. Lets say your electric bill was anywhere from $200-$400+ / month depending on time of year. Solar financing stays constant, so although it may be more expensive than your bill certain months; it allows you to plan and budget unlike a constantly changing electric bill! Plus once paid off, you get free electric for the life of the panels! (30+ Years!)

From start to finish 603 Solar was a great experience. Highly involved owners were attentive to special requests and concerns through-out the process. I live in a Log cabin and had been rejected by field engineers from all of the other big solar companies for a non-traditional roof structure, 603 Solar was willing to tackle a unique project from the get go. I had one negative interaction with one member of the team, (scheduling and showing up for meetings or non-planned meetings) and as a business owner myself I understand how hard it is to find good help. I addressed the issue with multiple individuals in the company and they were quick to address and correct the issue with said employee. The install team was as advertised, incredible. Tyler is a fantastic electrician with very impressive piping skills. I'd recommend 603 Solar to anyone.

I could not speak nicer of the entire 603 solar experience start to finish. Every individual involved in the process was very considerate and prompt in answering our questions and concerns. The process was very straightforward and they do a lot of the behind-the-scenes work so the homeowner doesn’t have to, therefore creating a seamless, stress free process. The new types of gaskets they use to secure to the roof are impressive and give one confidence that the roof will never leak because of the installation. I especially want to thank the electricians for accommodating us on the fact that I was redoing the exterior siding, windows and trim of my house and went above and beyond to work with me with my custom project specifications. 603 Solar became the best experience in any contracted upgrade I’ve ever had. Transparent explanation of what to expect and they delivered big time. Materials delivered, installation 2 days later. Full switchover in from utilities a few days later. 603 Solar is the real deal.

I signed the contract with 603solar 3 months ago and I'm now generating electricity and actually sending some back to the grid. Amazing. My experience with 603solar has been top-shelf, from the initial consult with Joey, interactions with the site inspectors/electricians/installers, interactions with 603 staff (especially Marian in the front office) and the process from start to finish. Everything we discussed was delivered and every step and discussion was transparent. 603solar was eager to answer questions. listen to concerns and make the process simple. From the sales staff to the installers and the folks in administration and support, everyone was courteous, professional, and helpful. We're thrilled to finally be generating green energy! Understanding how easy the process is, we wished we had done this a long time ago.

We could not be happier with the Sales, Install, and Follow Up process with 603 Solar. The Sales Rep, Steve, came out to our house to provide a quote on a Sunday. We had already signed on with a lease program from another supplier and we cancelled with them since they were getting all of the Solar Credits, and not just the one time Federal Tax Credit. We then purchased the system with 603 Solar. The installation was done by Grateful Electric. They located the conduit from the solar panels to the Combiner Box underneath the solar panels into the attic and then dropped down through an overhang to the Combiner Box. There is no visible conduit on the roof. Steve then followed up to show how to use the Enphase app to get real time data from the solar system.

We had a great experience. They made careful plans to deal with our somewhat unusual house, communicated well, showed up on time, and followed through on remaining loose ends

603 Solar installed the solar panels on the roof of our garage/guest unit of our second home this past summer. We are city dwellers and don't know much about construction and home improvements. My experience with 603 Solar couldn’t have been better. Joey Deluca answered all our questions promptly and graciously. The resulting proposal was clear with attention to detail. Installation by electrician Roger Adams and his two assistants was efficient and flawless. Marian Caisse in their office persisted with tact to get final approval from Central Maine Power. For two weeks now the 32 panels are producing better than expected!

We just had our rooftop system installed, so I can't speak to long term performance, but in terms of getting the information needed, getting a quote, answering many, many questions and installing the solar panels on-time, 603 Solar is top-notch.

I highly recommend 603 Solar to anyone considering investing in residential solar generation. I requested and received quotes from 4 companies and 603 Solar was the most responsive to my questions about feasibility, technology options and cost. We installed 28 panels which were installed over two days. They could have been installed in one day, but the crew opted to stop during the first day in order to prevent damage to my newly installed shingles due to excessive temperatures. The installed panels, and connections look fantastic – installed with pride of craftmanship. The permitting, inspection and interface with City and Utility were seamlessly handled by 603 Solar. Our net meter was installed, and we were generating within 3 days of the panel installation. 603 Solar’s attention to us did not end at the final installation – their guidance on obtaining tax credit and also sale of REC’s has been extremely helpful. We are very happy to have chosen 603 Solar for this project.

There was no pressure tactics or fear of making a bad decision throughout this entire process. From me dropping a deposit to getting the permits approved and finally installation and activation I was informed and in control entire time. Process took about four months for permitting and Scheduling. Once materials were on site Zach from Grateful Electric and his crew worked quickly in a day to get everything online and then out of your family’s way!
