Young and the Windows on Washington team did an excellent job installing my new windows. They were very professional and worked quickly to replace my windows in a tricky spot at the top of a stairwell. They cleaned up after they work and made sure I had a chance to check everything out before leaving.

I had a couple of minor issues with the Pella Impervia windows that WoW installed for me. So why the 5 star rating? Because their customer service is second to none. From the very start, they treated me with respect and made me feel like a valued customer. They went above and beyond to install the windows to my satisfaction. They were professional and quick to respond to any problem that came up even when it wasn't their fault because it was the window (a Pella issue) or the siding above the window (an HOA contractor issue). They did everything possible to fix things fast and right. Would I use them again? They are the ONLY window contractor I will ever use. If only other companies would take lessons from WoW on how to treat their customers. The world would be such a better place. :)

Joon and the crew did a great job! My door had some rotten woods and they replaced those as well. The weather was not good (started raining heavily) but Joon and the team made sure the door is replaced before the rain. They also made sure to wear shoe covers whenever they’re inside the house which I appreciated especially with the rain outside. They also cleaned up well after the work was completed. They’re very professional, hard working and friendly. If you ever use Windows on Washington, I highly recommend Joon and his crew for the job.

I had Windows on Washington replace all windows in my house (24 OKNA 800) back in 2017. I gave a rave review back then and I continue to rave about the quality, energy efficiency, and sound proofing of my windows.

Fast forward to the present. Sometimes, when I use the vent latches, I inadvertently forget to retract them before trying to open the window, usually without damage. However, this past month, for the second time, I unlatched the window locks and slammed the window up, forgetting the vent latches, and broke two on said window.

Sheepishly, I sent a e-mail to WoW requesting replacements plus some spares. Eric, President of WoW, immediately responded that they would send 10 vent latches, no cost. I received the items in less than two days. Window is repaired and I am more cautious about the vent latches.

As I said, WoW is a company that cares about its customers and stands behind the quality of their product. Hats off the Eric and the crew.

We worked with the owner (Eric) who is very knowledgeable (great reputation within the industry). He was patient in addressing our numerous questions and provided competitive pricing. We had WoW replace 20 windows and front exterior door.

His crew did an outstanding job in the installation and clean up. Eric & his team kept us informed throughout the process. They provided excellent customer service. We have done many home improvement projects the past 30+ years and dealt with numerous contractors. I would highly recommend WoW.

We have been very pleased with our windows & door. Another positive that sets WoW above the other companies is they truly stand behind their products. When one of our windows got a crack due to our lawn mower hitting a rock and it hit the window, WoW's team took care of our warranty claim. They didn't give us the "run around" which we have experienced with other companies.

We view Eric as a "trusted advisor" and have reached out to him when we had questions on other home improvement projects (ie. foam insulation). We value his input.

I was very happy with my windows installation today. The same person who measured and designed the windows also came to install them, which I feel is rare. Also they gave me a timeframe of when they would arrive and it was correct. They gave me a timeframe of when they were done and that was also correct. Everything looks great. Also Becky was very helpful in making sure my HoA would agree to the windows beforehand and looked out for me as a customer. I will definitely come back for more windows.

From estimate to install we were very pleased with WoW. Door and window installs went smoothly and the end results look great. Highly recommended.

Installed triple pane Okna windows and replaced a couple French doors in home. Process was super easy from beginning to end. Windows on Washington are very professional, with high quality products, and overall customer service was excellent with thorough communication throughout every step and highly recommended installers that took excellent care of my home and property and high quality installation process. Very pleased. Highly recommend. Only one minor painting repair required afterwards throughout entire home and made best effort to clean up everything after complete and ensure I understood how to operate windows and doors. Happy with the outcome. And as a bonus, it’s much quieter inside the home from regular street traffic so noise reduction is notable. And so far the temperature control throughout all levels is noticeably more even throughout home with very cold outdoor temperatures. Thanks again.

PRODUCT:
Their sales focus is how the Okna brand is the best window in the business. I compared theirs against the window I ultimately bought and the air infiltration rating difference was 0.04 vs 0.02. Industry average is 0.20, so both windows are excellent. Yes, the Okna is technically better. But the WoW project quote was staggeringly more expensive, almost 50% more for windows that are only better by the tiniest margin. Air infiltration is not the only important number of course, but performance difference was this marginal across the board.

I really think you need to buy into the marketing hype to justify these windows. The sales guy said "you get what you pay for" but by my calculations I'd need to keep these windows for over 100 years to reach break-even on energy savings.

SALES:
The sales experience was too high-pressure for my liking, from the salesperson himself to the whole quote-with-a-shot-clock -- there was a line item about a discount that evaporated if I didn't commit within 7 days from the day that the quote was delivered. If you believe in your offering you should allow customers to collect multiple quotes for major projects! No other company I got a quote from wanted a response within 7 days like this. Then came the follow-up emails and texts and when I told them I went a different direction, more questions asking who I went with, etc. And months after not selecting this company, I am getting emailed and called about a 10% off promotion they are running... I guess you are enrolled in their marketing program if you want a simple project quote.

All fine but I'm now on the other side of the project, totally happy with the windows and company I ultimately selected.

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The sales representative who came to our house was very polite and profession- we discussed the different options, and found a plan we liked. The process took several weeks as the windows were being built and the communication with the company during this time was always very clear. Finally the day of the installation came, and that took went extremely well. They put the windows in extremely fast, but spent several hours sealing everything and ensuring that they looked perfect on the inside and out.

They did an attic sealing, duct replacement, and insulation job for us. Managed to stay within budget and were super clean and professional.

I had been window shopping for a couple of years, and during that time we weren't happy with the prices we were quoted by the national window companies, so I decided to wait and keep looking around. Windows on Washington was the first company we got a quote from where I felt like I wasn't getting ripped off, and I had confidence based on the reviews and experience of the team that we would get a good product and quality install.

In April 2024, we had Windows on Washington install new windows in our 1963 built ranch house which had the original single pane wooden storm windows with aluminum sliders/screens. Everyone from the sales rep, the admins and the entire installation team were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire process, and helped to ensure that the project was completed on schedule. The sales manager was very knowledgeable and helped me determine what product and type of install I wanted (we opted for full tear-out as opposed to pocket fit install).

Shoutout to Mr. Joon who was our lead installer, he is an absolute artist when it comes to custom fitting new wood casing around the window opening, and he personally made sure that the fit and finish of our new windows was impeccable.

When we first started shopping for new windows for the older house we had just purchased, a little internet research led to finding Windows on Washington and Eric Novotny. Little did we know we had a national treasure when it comes to replacement windows so close to home. I contacted the office and was extremely pleased to learn they service our area. From that day forward we enjoyed nothing but professionalism and perfection. Brandon came to our home and showed us possible solutions to our replacement windows needs. This was done without any sales pressure and all our questions were answered. We chose Okna windows for all but one window after reading many positive reviews and have been very pleased with these windows so far. We feel we made the right choice. The one other window we ordered was from ProVia. For the window over our kitchen sink, I wanted a casement window instead of a double hung believing that a casement window would be easier to open then reaching over the kitchen sink to try and raise a double hung window. I'm a little too short to do that! I also wanted mini blinds between the glass for this particular window because the way our kitchen cabinets are hung, the door to the cabinet nearest the window hits up against the window moulding each time you open the door to that cabinet. This makes hanging shades or curtains hung on a regular curtain rod on this window difficult. Mini blinds between the glass seemed like the perfect solution and ProVia could offer us this type of window.

The office staff, Gretchen, Becky and Tanya kept us up to date and well informed throughout the whole transaction from ordering the windows until the day of installation. Our installers did a great job and we went from living with 6 windows that were painted shut and unable to open to beautiful, easy to open Okna and ProVia windows in a single day. When the installers were just about done, we discovered a flaw in the glass of our most expensive window - the ProVia casement window with the mini blinds between the glass. It looked like a tiny black bug flew into the glass as it was being made and of course, it was right at eye level. The installer photographed it and said the office would be in contact with us. The next day I hung sheer curtains over the glass on the kitchen window using a tension rod that did not interfere with the cabinet door and voila, you could hardly see the flaw anymore. So I called the office and explained what I did and that you could hardly find the flaw unless you knew exactly where to look and that this was something I thought I could live with. I was thanked and told that they would be putting in a request to replace the glass on this window. This was done and a replacement casement window was just installed. I now have windows I love, with no flaws in the glass, installed by a company that stands behind their products. We could not be happier!

The crew arrived on time. They knew what they were doing. The Okna windows are wonderful and have some great features. I love that they open into the room so you can easily wash them without having to climb a ladder, lock on partially opened window and half screen. The job done by the crew was excellent and they cleaned after themselves and took away the old windows.

Our journey started with Shayne who visited our home to listen to our problems, check out our attic, and offer advice. Shayne promptly came up with an action plan, including fixing some of our ductwork that was leaking and uninsulated. Because of our superb experience the first time ‘round we contracted with them via their most excellent salesman Brandon Shonebarger for a new entry door and storm door.

This time ‘round there were problems from the installation on. I won’t give a blow by blow here as it’s too long & too much. Suffice it to say that the repairs took as long to complete as the initial order time line & required multiple trips & two different repair people!!

I need to give a shout out to the second repair man - Plamen - he was actually the original installer until the main installer guy showed up & basically took over). Plamen spent close to 3 hours making the needed adjustments & repairs to make sure that the entry door & storm door worked properly. He patiently explained why one of the multiple issues could not be solved (due to physics, but which I think the industry could easily solve). Plamen worked his butt off, was professional, courteous, conscientious, & the best part of the whole experience.

I cannot recommend WoW for replacement entry doors & storm doors, with the same level of enthusiasm that I can for replacement windows. That’s too bad.

Dealing with Tanya & Gretchen at the office was also a pleasure. Thank you ladies!
