We recently had a major kitchen renovation project completed by Abbey Design and Remodel. From out first meeting with Jimmy, to the end of the project, we felt like we were in good hands. Communication throughout the process with sales, design, and the crew on site was smooth and thorough. The entire design team listened to our needs and offered ideas and suggestions that we might not have thought of (thank you Justin and Ms. Z). Jeo and Diaz, doing the construction, didn't simply follow the plans; they often asked for our input to insure the project was exactly as we envisioned it. There was never a problem they couldn't solve and they left the site clean and swept each evening. My wife and I are about 95% complete on a project where Abbey Design & Remodel finished our basement. We interviewed nine contractors and ultimately decided on Abbey for several reasons.
1. The fact that they are a one stop shop made everything so much easier. Instead of shopping for tile, counters, flooring, etc. we were able to go to the design center and create a truly custom basement with the help of their designer and an incredible selection of material.
2. Architectural design excellence--we had some specific requirements that went beyond opening load baring walls (which they did). We had to have bathroom access from the bedroom and primary space and they were able to create a design that was differentiated.
3. The crew! Jeo, Diaz, Ray and Jimmy were incredible. They showed up on time every day, were a pleasure to work with and were happy to make small on the spot adjustments as we requested them. They were also outstanding with communicating with us at each step, were quick to respond to questions, etc.

They finished (still have 1-2 days left!) on time, on budget and we are thrilled with the outcome.

While this company might be able to design they drive dangerously… Witnessed a company vehicle cut off multiple cars on 10/15 heading south on route 28 to hit 267 east a little after 8am. Several cars had to quickly hit their brakes after this a-hole cut in front of them with no signal. What’s the rush? Hope that remodel was worth the erratic driving behavior!

The work was performed to our expectations. The supervisor named Roberto was courteous and professional when speaking to my mom. The sales people in the Abbey showroom are very knowledgeable and familiar with the area. Additionally, they shared their experiences with best looks and advice on what is in style. Jimmy and Ray are courteous, returned phones calls, and is responsive to questions and concerns. Additionally, they gave us 5% military discount, which made me very happy.

We are so appreciative of Jimmy and his team from Abbey! Our kitchen renovation went extremely smoothly and we couldn’t be happier with the result. The team was communicative throughout the process and set reasonable expectations for timelines. They were mindful of our budget and explained all changes. The project began and finished sooner than anticipated! Fawzi and his team explained each step of the process, answered questions, kept a clean workspace, and were surprisingly quiet for a renovation project (I work from home). Our final kitchen is beautiful, well-built, and looks better than we could have envisioned. Abbey provided a wonderful experience and kitchen for us.

We hired Abbey Remodel to do a kitchen remodeling + Hardwood flooring in our Living room. They did a fantastic job. Jimmy was a pleasure to work with. Knowledgeable and very professional. Installers were on time and courteous . Job went smoothly. My family and I are very satisfied with the service Abbey provided us.

We contracted with Abbey for: a new, full, tiled bathroom; hardwood flooring for two new bedrooms; and vinyl flooring for a new art studio in an extension to our home. Abbey worked with us in the design and materials selections and did all of the installation work. A few, minor problems occurred along the way, mostly due to COVID-19 supply issues, but the professionals at Abbey did their very best to move the project along to our satisfaction. It has been a pleasure to work with them, and the quality of the installation work was excellent. We very much appreciated the friendly, knowledgeable, and competent service we got from everyone at Abbey that we dealt with, and we would not hesitate to go back to them again should the need arise.

Abbey did a basement remodel for us where they replaced the existing carpet with a high end vinyl plank floor and installed a wet bar.

Overall thought they did a nice job and am very happy with the quality of the work done.

Zied was great to work with, and the design process went really well. The pricing was clear and I didn’t feel like they were pushing the upsell which was nice.

If I was to gripe about anything it would be the length of time between signing the contract and getting the work done - admittedly a lot of that timing was dictated by the cabinet manufacturer and the fact that it coincided with the holiday season.

I would also have liked a bit more proactive communication about timelines, but Zied gave me his cell phone number and was very responsive to any questions I sent him via text.

The work was high quality, with two different teams doing the flooring and wet bar respectively. Attention to detail was good. The flooring team realized they had the wrong stair treads and were good about informing me promptly and securing new ones within a couple of days.

Overall very happy with the result and would use again.

We have recently finished a full kitchen renovation with Abbey Design. This type of project can be stressful and I was a little concerned when I start looking for a contractor. However, working with Abbey's team made everything easy and very professional. Jimmy Nazemian, the Project Manager, explained what we should expect and everything worked as planned. He was in constant communication and I really felt I can leave this project on his capable hands. Abbey Design took care of everything for us. His team worked with amazing attention to detail and they care for a job well done. They took their time to make sure everything is as expected or exceeds expectations. They did not rush through but also made sure that they delivered the project timely. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen, and we recommend Abbey Design.

Zied and the Abbey team were great. We got bids from 3 or 4 contractors. to do a full kitchen remodel and new hardwoods for our entire first floor. We picked Abbey because of Zied. He was professional and helpful with good value for the work. More importantly, the project started and finished on time. Zied was excellent with with laying out the timeline and keeping us in the loop. He was always accessible for questions. The work was done by Relu and his team and their quality was excellent. Highly recommend Abbey, Zied and Relu. We'll use them again for our master bath project.

Amazing experience all around! We bought a house and needed new floors installed very quickly before we could move in, and the Abbey Design team truly came through for us!

Kass Hamedi took the time to work with us one-on-one to understand our budget, goals, circumstances, and needs for the project. He gave us incredible guidance and advice to find the exact right flooring to fit our very specific needs, and made it so easy for us. He kept in close contact with us throughout the project, and followed up to ensure that it was done perfectly.

Mr Kimo did the flooring installation and was incredibly meticulous, detailed, and precise in his work. Truly a master craftsman that takes great pride in his work. Before putting down the new flooring, he painstakingly leveled the subfloor and hunted down and manually eliminated every single last squeak in the floor thoughout the house! As he installed the flooring, he wouldn't tolerate the slightest imperfection in his cuts, making sure that every last piece of trim and every last tiny board was cut precisely, even if it was in a spot that would never even see the light of day. He carefully adjusted our cabinets to account for the increased height of the new flooring so that the refrigerator would fit better, replaced the kickboards under the cabinets because the old ones were so worn out and wouldn't look right with the new flooring (no charge), and gave me great pointers on a different project that I was working on myself.

They were on-time and on-budget, flexible and accommodating, and had great communication along the way too. The sales team, warehouse folks, managers, construction/installation team members, and everyone else we worked with were all fantastic. Most importantly, the finished project looks absolutely phenomenal. This was the best experience I have ever had with a home renovation, and I'm looking forward to hiring them again for the next big project!

From start with sales to end with installation crews, we've had such a good experience. I definitely Recommend Abbey Remodel to whomever wants to do remodeling.

Great and not so great. In the end, we are very pleased with the result, but it took some doing to get there...

We contracted for several different projects (Entryway tile, stair carpeting x 2, an entire floor of hardwood, an entire floor of carpet, and tile and counters and faucets in two full baths). As we made arrangements for this, planned and scheduled several months in advance, we expected and originally planned for 2 weeks work, but were actually quoted for just 1 when the work began, pleasantly surprising us. As we are performing this work to sell our home and have moved out, we made many other appointments with other companies and our realtor based on this work schedule. Well, in the end, the scheduled date was not adheared to because our hardwood could not be installed on-time. Even the initial delay was subsequently increased by over a week when the wrong carpet was ordered and installation begun. We, vice Abbey itself, had to actually stop this installation when we came to the house to check on progress and explain to the installers that the carpet they were laying down was not what we had ordered and agreed to. As a result, other carpet than our original choice had to be selected, ordered and shipped, which took more time. There was also a minor issue with a sink installation (a small part missing from ordered fixtures) that the plumber initially approached me, vice himself, his own company or Abbey, to intervene on and fix. In the end, we subsequently had to cancel/reschedule many of these other appointments, disrupting other schedules and significantly delayed listing our home.

As said above, ultimately we are very pleased with the results, but we definitely paid for it with time, angst and money. Our house is going on the market 3 weeks later than planned for, and we were not offered any discounts (even when we inquired about them) or other incentives to compensate. To be fair, Abbey did work with us to come to a decent price for the work in the beginning when the contracts were agreed to and deposits paid. They also did perform some adhoc spot painting for us when the bathroom counter installations did not match the lines with previous paintwork and was not adressed by the installers during placement but taken care of when we requested Abbey to do so later. This said, they offered very little, other than apologies, for the delays and mistakes made in their work. This is contrasted, for example, with the company we hired (and recently very positively reviewed here on the G) to perform all our house and deck painting (as Abbey's prices to do so were unreasonably high) who were incredible to work with, went well above and beyond in their efforts, and made everything easy for us as paying customers.

We do recommend Abbey as a company, just be extremely clear and get everything agreed to in writing up front and hold them to it (it could save you later), and understand that mistakes and delays are possible even with effort on your part to avoid them, as you are beholden to their issues and their own subcontractors who they don't always control.

We had wood floors installed by Abbey Design in October of 2017 and couldn't be happier. We had a great team! Kass, our sales person, was very knowledgable and helpful and helping us make the right flooring decision. Nick, the warehouse manager was great in providing us with the proper timeline for our delivery and installation time. He also paired us with Kimo to install our floors. Kimo, was truly remarkable! He clearly takes great pride in his work and it shows. We looked at other companies in the area, and without a doubt, we made a great choice. Great people and superior workmanship.

We just had a beautiful full bathroom built by Abbey on our first floor. They built it from the ground up (no rough in)! The experience was seamless from start to finish. Robert, Relu, Zied, Zee, Jose and Sean all did a fantastic job helping us make this project happen. I had also hoped to have it completed by Christmas and sure enough they came through for us. This is actually the second project they have done for us. The first was a master bathroom reno done about eight years ago and it still looks fabulous. Great work, long term results. Thank you!

We had delayed in finishing our basement for many years because we had several poor experiences with contractors over the years. When I finally decided to talk to Abbey, I immediately felt that they took my concerns seriously and were willing to meet my expectations. Throughout the entire process, we were kept well informed. The project was completed on time, if not a few days early. They were at my house every day, working full days to complete the project in as little time and disruption as possible. Rob and Gio, along with Jimmy and Justin were very professional, and their technical knowledge/abilities were exceptional. They always went above and beyond to complete the project in ways that took into consideration what is "nicer" and "better", rather than just getting done. They often knew what we would want better than we did, and would make the recommendations. Our basement has been completed, and is so much better than we had hoped, and the experience was perfect! Although Abbey may not have been the cheapest option out there, I will definitely use them again for all the reasons stated above!

What a wonderful experience. Zied, Ron, and Robert were ultimate professionals who followed through on their word. The design advice was spot on and the kitchen was done when promised. The computer interface gave us a real time communication tool that was extremely valuable. Relu and his crew were perfectionists. True craftsmen and extremely trustworthy in my home. My husband and I went into the store on a Saturday around 4:00 PM and were approached by 1 sales person and once he got busy on the phone another sales person came up and abruptly answered our questions regarding the pricing, etc. His demeanor and attitude was very bad! We felt like he didn't want to be there or didn't care much about helping. Bottom line, he should not be in this line of business if he is not into customer service. If I could give Half a star I would have. Will not give them my business just because of therude nature of this person!

Abbey Floors recently installed stone tile in our foyer and hardwoods in the first floor of our home. From the moment we walked in to the showroom we felt welcomed by the staff. They gave us the privacy to look at Show Room at our own pace but were very responsive to our questions. I was having a hard time deciding on the selection of hardwood color. Zied graciously set up a time to come to our home. Zied brought three samples for the hardwood. He was patient, but offered suggestions when needed. I am so glade that we decided to go with Abbey. Great customer service. I like to describe the stone tile crew as artists. They meticulously placed the varied sized tile in a design that truly complimented our foyer space. Very patient with me when I asked to see a test area of the grout I had initially selected. I was not pleased with my selection and asked could we change before completing the job. I sent an email to Zied and Nick requesting the change. Both responded in such a timely manner. I was able to change grout and Zied even made another trip to our house to review the job. We have the second floor of our home to update and I will be coming to Abbey Floors to assist us in this job.

We recently had porcelain tile installed in three connecting rooms of our home. From our experience in the showroom with Zied to the crew that came out and did the install things could not have been better. They were professional, courteous, punctual, and their workmanship was spectacular! We will be having them back to remodel our bathrooms.

I was looking to build a basement bar and was getting estimates from several companies. I stumbled upon Abbey Design and worked with Jimmy. From the beginning, my experience working with both Abbey and Jimmy has been excellent. Jimmy was very professional, courteous and worked with me to make this project happen. After the supplies arrived, Abbey Design sent a team of workers to get the job done. These guys were very talented and got the job done with no issues at all. es. Took out damaged sheet rock behind shower, which was not waterproof, causing years of leaks to our downstairs ceiling, which also had to be torn out and replaced. They the installed a beautiful new bathroom with our choice of fixtures and appliances, flooring and tiles, of which they have an abundance of choices, making it difficult to decide upon...(a good thing). We were also guided by the artistic eye of Jimmy, our representative, who steered us toward color and style compatibility when we were in doubt. The workers they use are equally professional and very, very clean. Every day they finished working, they cleaned up and left no trace that they'd been at work in the surrounding areas. Sometimes it was left cleaner than it began! They were polite and very focused, wanting us to be pleased and comfortable in their presence. Each day, they would show us what they'd done, and be sure it met our expectations, which it always did. Five stars all the way! Here, you really get what you pay for.

The initial sales consultation to the design phase to the actual work was above expectations, with consistent communication and clear explanations for everything. They were very attentive to what we wanted and delivered a great project for us.

Excellent experience start to finish! Chris was absolutely great in helping me pick carpet, hardwood and tile. He understood what I was loking for and kept my budget in mind! I was very indecisive and he "put up with me"! LOL In the end everything was exactly what I wanted!

After careful research and referrals, we chose to finish our basement with Julie Maoury and Abbey Design Center. We couldn't be happier with our choice. The value you get for your money is exceptional. Not only was the construction meticulous, you also get the invaluable designing eye that Julie offers. She incorporated a plethora of ideas we wouldn't have considered. Which is a large part why our basement turned out so beautiful. Julie is also very hands on, visiting the site on a regular basis and consistently communicated construction timelines or potential delays. The crew, led by Jeovonni, was polite, responsive, and we felt comfortable with them in our home. We would highly recommend Julie and Abbey Design Center.

We went with Abbey Design for our guest bath remodel project because they're a one-stop shop. They also don't use subcontractors, which, I think, helps them keep their prices reasonable and provide consistent quality of workmanship. They have a large showroom with everything from flooring to drawer pulls, which makes the design process more efficient. As busy professionals with a small child, it was nice to be able to pick out everything, with Jimmy's help, in about an hour and call it a day.

It took about seven weeks for the flooring, granite counter top, faucets, etc., to arrive at their warehouse, and the bathroom remodel itself took two work weeks.

Their workers are among the friendliest I've seen, and they clean up after themselves at the end of each day. Overall, we're very pleased.

Abbey Design did a very nice job on our bathroom. We replaced the cabinets and tiling. Julie Maoury was our designer and she worked hard helping us pull together the different elements and it looks fantastic. She also shepherded the project and always came to our house to talk about what was happening and what was next. The crew was polite and easy to work with and did terrific work. We worked with Jimmy at Abbey to completely redesign our kitchen. We went from builder grade traditional cabinets to a modern, Euro-style top quality kitchen. Jimmy Nazem and his "Team," did a fantastic job on our basement finishing project. Justin Goodman was a great part of this team too- these guys were always open to making small adjustments to create a beautiful product. They helped design a great gym, gorgeous custom bar, media room, storage room, and beautiful bathroom. They put down engineered hardwood floors and really do offer a great "turn key" product, guiding every step of the way. A few of the tradesman- Jeovani, Cesar, and Mr. Ki did great work which was truly appreciated and sorry not to mention names of framer and drywall gentlemen too who did high quality work. Attention to detail and desire to create a product the customer is truly happy with are just a couple reasons we would use Abbey again.

Working with Abbey Design Center was a great experience! Jimmy Nazem and his team, Justin, Ki Han and Eric. are on track to finish in the timeframe they promised. My daughter is getting married on 4/26 and we will have a bunch of people here for a party after. Abbey Design Center has been great about expediting the job so that we have time to get settled in before guests arrive. The details of customizing could have taken forever but we were guided through easily and with good advice. Justin did a great job of drawing up computerized models so we could see the scale and proportion before we finalized our plan. I had some ideas of how I wanted it to look and Jimmy worked with me to make that happen. Jimmy has always replied to any inquiries immediately and was able to get me information that I needed or answer questions I had. He was always checking in to make sure things were moving along as scheduled and let me know when each phase would be completed. Ki and Eric have been a pleasure to have in my home- their work is meticulous. They are considerate, punctual and professional. The entire process has been a breeze- of course I will be happy to have a sink again and will never take it for granted! I have been posting photos on Facebook of the process every day and many who comment are impressed with the quality work and quick progress. Sherry W. of Abbey Design Center was a great help. All we knew was that we wanted to add a coffee bar, wine bar & serving area in our dining room. She took our look from college dorm to sophistication. After viewing our other furniture and asking a few questions about our lifestyle she came up with a plan we liked right away. She matched our other furniture in style and color. Her suggestion for the granite perfectly complimented the other colors in the room. She even suggested some lighting options that are just icing on the cake. Everyone raves about how great it looks. We are planning some other projects in our house and we will be calling Sherry.
