Overall, great experience.

Spring weather created a few delays, but Scott did a fantastic job navigating these initial setbacks. Even with less than ideal weather conditions the day of installation, Bert and his guys showed up early, and had my old roof off before noon.
The new roof was completely installed, along with a new ridge vent, and all clean up was finished before 3p.
For a seemingly small crew of guys, their work efficiency was very impressive.

We had a watermark on the ceiling in our master bathroom. I called Winchester Roofing and Bert found the leak was from the roof even though the house is only 12 years old. This was a Joseph Mohr Construction, Inc. custom home in the Abrams Pointe subdivision. To be fair I don't know what the customer specified maybe the owner wanted cheaper materials. I cannot fault Mr. Mohr without knowing all the facts. All new homes have only a one-year warranty but your car is 3- or 4-years bumper to bumper. Your car is bounced on our lousy roads so lots of vibration but the house does not. I think it is about time the housing industry who has been ripping of off since the 1950s and is worse now should be forced by Congress to at least pay for a third-party expert to study and make recommendations.
I opted for a new roof with the best materials. Once Bert got into removing the old roof he said the materials were so cheap that they seemed to be 20 years+ not after just 12 years. Two of the roof cdx sheathing had holes rotted from water exposure. I was not surprised I purchased this house in 2014 second owner. I have had to replace the sewer line, re-plumb my basement to meet code since there was no regulator coming off the main line which was 90PSI not 65. I had the rear deck rebuilt to straighten and align properly. I replaced the hot water heater and more (pun intended). I replaced the large master shower since it was leaking into the basement. My new roof looks great, Scott, Bert and the crew were fantastic and we gave each a small tip which we don't do often. I like their attitude and knowledge right away and I didn't bother with a compare. Gut instinct has served me well over my years as a retired military, retired Federal, retired contractor and finally retired from consulting. I am not a roofer but I am an engineer and they did a great job, explained all and took many pictures so you can download. This is our last house so we wanted done right so we don't have to fool with it again. We over achieved. . Scott does not ask for payment until he crew is finished and you are happy which was icing on the cake for us.

Winchester Roofing did an excellent job replacing one of our gutters that had become detached the side of the house. Despite a weather delay and the repair being more involved than originally anticipated, we were very happy with the experience. Scott was communicative every step of the way, providing frequent updates. We plan to use Winchester Roofing for our future gutter needs.

I had a new roof installed by Winchester Roofing in May of 2024. I already posted a glowing review about our experience with that installation. Last weekend, my wife and I noticed some water leaking in our primary bathroom. I quickly jumped to the conclusion it must be related to the roof. I texted Scott the owner on Monday morning and Bert the project manager for my installation was literally in my attic just over an hour after I contacted him. Scott called me to assure me I had no worries. Whatever the problem was, they would resolve it. Bert found a separated PVC venting pipe in the attic that was leaking condensation as the root cause. He capture pictures, as he always does. Clearly this was not related to the roof installation. I didn’t have any PVC glue in the house, so Bert jumps in the truck saying it would be expensive to call a plumber. Bert quickly picks up some glue, and he fixes the problem at no charge. When the owner Scott says the back up their work, that’s an honest statement from the owner. Very pleased with and grateful to Winchester Roofing. What a great company. Thanks guys.

I reached out to a few places to diagnose and repair a roof leak I had. Scott from Winchester roofing was the first company that I called that answered and I'm so glad he did. I called Winchester Roofing Monday morning after the wind storm the previous weekend tore some shingles off. I spoke with Scott (who answered his phone in the second ring!), and he said they were pretty booked that day, but they would try to come by to assess the damage. He also gave me ballpark figures for what we might be looking at depending on the extent of the damage. By 2:30, Bert was at my house. He inspected the roof, determined what needed to fixed, informed me they had shingles in the van that were really close in color (they were actually a perfect match), called his boss, Scott, got a quote for me, and was fixing the roof by 3:00 pm. They were finished by 4:00. The area was immaculate when they finished the job, and the roof looks great!! I will be using Winchester Roofing for all of our roofing needs!

The builder of my house installed the wrong type and size ridge board / gutter on my house, creating a leaking situation... I couldn't get a response from the builder, so I had to seek another solution... Winchester Roofing was doing the same type of repair on my neighbor's house, so I got them to come and check out my problem... they were more than happy to come right over, check out the situation and give me a quote... I got a call from the office that day and we set up the date for the repair... it was done quickly and correctly and I no longer have a leaking roof... :-)

I needed a roof replaced on my house within 30 days of closing for insurance purposes. Winchester Roofing was able to work with me to get a quote and ensure everything was set up and ready for installation within the first week of closing! Staff was very accommodating and professional. Just as my house was going on the market, a drone shot revealed some missing shingles. Winchester Roofing responded the same day we called - they sent someone out to inspect what was needed, searched for matching shingles, and had the repairs completed all w/in 2 days. Had a leak around the chimney and called ten local roofing companies and Winchester Roofing was the only one to respond immediately and show interest in the job. They came to provide an estimate within a day and scheduled and completed the work quickly. They were friendly, professional, fixed the issues so not only were the problems solved but the roof looked perfect. Their prices were well within expected range. We had Bert and Winchester Roofing complete two metal roofs in Leesburg. Super nice folks, family man. Friendly and knowledgeable (he's been doing it for 18yrs+, his family too). They were honest about damage found to the old roofs and the change orders were fair, happy to accomodate some last minute adjustments we made.

We had to make a few scheduling changes due to weather but they were easy to work with and responsive during that time too. His crew showed courtesy to the neighbors and passers-by, cleaned up well and worked incredibly hard to complete the job timely.
