These guys did an amazing job from start to finish. The old gutters were packed full when they took them down and left zero mess in our yard. They were polite, professional and hard-working. I never post reviews, but I feel that Modern Renovation definitely deserves the positive attention. I have used Modern Renovations for my home roof replacement, home deck in 2023, cabin roof replacement and cabin siding March 2025. The attention to detail is spot on and I can't thank them enough for doing such a great job at a competitive price. They fit me into their schedule fast and followed through on everything that we discussed. Larry was extremely knowledgeable and walked us through design and color options for the cabin roof and siding that turned out amazing. Modern Renovations recently came out and tackled multiple tasks I had in mind. Fixed my roof, brand new siding and shutters all around, and all new gutters. They began working within weeks and only took 3 days to finish everything. And did a great job! I would highly recommend their company.

Modern renovations did a remarkable job on our siding. In a week we had beautiful new siding and gutters. Larry listened and provided his expertise and his team’s execution was phenomenal. All workers were respectful, showed up on time, worked their tails off and cleaned up. Can’t recommend them enough!

Recently had some wind damage to our house roof that was built in 2017.
Modern Renovations were the only company out of all that we called that answered the phone. Amanda, the office manager, was awesome! We had a appointment for an estimate the same week! Larry, the owner, was who came out to do the estimate, was awesome to deal with as well.
Had a quote on the spot and was out the next week to do repairs! And Larry did the repairs. It is not often a owner will get their hands dirty, but it was game on with Larry.
Because of the professional handling of our situation, we won't use anyone else. Just the because of the work ethic and integrity, we would have wanted Modern Renovations to do the work regardless of cost! Peace of mind is priceless! Don't go any where else folks!

Modern renovations did a fantastic job on our roof. They were in and out in one day, and the crew was fast and cleaned up after themselves. We originally were planning on just a plain black roof, but they suggested peppercorn because it had all of the colors of the tones in our house and they were right it’s absolutely stunning! We went with a black drip edge on the white trim as per suggested and it looks fantastic. It makes the roofline stand out on our home. They helped us get financing with a small contingency which they didn’t use so we were able to use some of it to replace a window that had need replaced at Little to no cost. They kept us aware of all of the timelines and kept to the budget and timeline and our experience was absolutely wonderful thank you Modern Renovations

Excellent experience working with Modern Renovations. I had my roof replaced and new siding installed on my entire house. I couldn't be happier with the price and products they used. Unparalleled customer service. Reached out with a gutter issue and Larry made it out as quickly as he could. Turns out, improper sized screws were used to secure it in place when my gutters were originally installed. Wind storm caused then to work free and the Modern Renovations team fixed the issue quick. Great company that is competitively priced and taking care of Veterans! We have a 150 year old home that was originally an old church and they nailed a period appropriate metal roof and it looks perfect! The team is patient with questions and quick to resolve concerns — real professionals who are good at what they do, such a rarity in todays world.

I have had quite a few major repairs over the last year, most of which have been mixed experiences at best and some of which have been extremely unpleasant (and insanely overpriced.) Working with Modern Renovations to replace my roof was by far the most positive and professional experience of them all and was, I daresay, as close as any home renovation work comes to being downright pleasant. Modern Renovations came out to assess damages from a hail storm. They came out with in 3 days or my initial call. Their “package was very complete with a lot of helpful samples. The owner came back out and met with my husband to go over the estimate. With in two weeks they came out and installed the roof in one day!

After receiving three quotes to replace our roof, we hired Modern Renovations (Winchester) to do the work. As a matter of comparison, their quote was well below the highest quote we received.

While checking out the existing roof, Larry (II) identified install/design issues with the roof that were missed by our home inspector. He promised the new roof would be installed to avoid future water problems. He made good on that promise and the install looks amazing.

Installation was a breeze, the crew did a great job keeping the work area cleaned up at the end of the day and 99% of the old nails were picked up when finished. Amanda in the office was great to work with and made sure all of our follow-up questions were answered quickly (which they were...mostly the same day).

Larry came out and gave us an estimate mid August. He explained the product and their warranty. Their bid was competitive with other local companies, but the warranty and the time they took to explain things and answer questions was the selling feature.

From the time we got the estimate it was about 4 weeks until install. We were warned that it would be that long upfront, so there were no surprises. They arrived at 7, unloaded in a flash. They covered everything with tarps and got busy removing the roof by 7:10. By 2:45 they were done. Amanda is great to work with in the office and answered many questions.
