Very happy with roof, materials, and workmanship. The roof looks great still after 4.5 years. Wimmer stands behind their work no matter what. I cannot say enough! Period! Please give them call and let them know that you want something done correctly and no guessing.

Talked to someone & they asked me to send pics of the project. I did & now I’ve been ghosted. Called back & talked to someone who said they would relay the message…..still nothing. Called & left a message myself…..STILL NOTHING. Customer service here leaves much to be desired. Sad.

I had several estimates done for the roofing, siding and gutters, and Wimmer came in several thousand dollars less than the others and also included gutter guards, aluminum wrapping on all trim, shutters and other extras. Joel was very thorough and easy to deal with. He maintained constant communication on what to expect and when and the quality of the work was top notch!

Premium cost with poor quality work. Had Wimmer replaced 20 windows, replaced a sliding glass door and covered the wood in my carport with batton board. Old home and current windows were installed 30yrs ago. Joel knew some of the windows would need new boards. Installers attempted to put my new windows in with rotten boards around them. My sliding door was installed with a big gap between the door and top of the frame and was covered up with shoe molding around the door which already has the original molding around it as well. Batton board installed in the carport was fine....the issue being...the quality of work around the light sockets. They pieced together molding to make a homemade bracket. Mind you it had enough gap that you could stick you fingers behind the piece. Im not in the business but i can tell you that is not the way its should have been done. Visually it looked super cheap. Called Joel and explained my concerns and that i would like him to come see the quality of work. Joel got upset with me while i was on the phone with him. I was not trying to be a pain point for him however the quality of work was unacceptable. Joel got his window installers to come back out and redo 4 of my windows...all which had new windows with rotten wood. Joel admitted that was not acceptable. He had the brackets fixed on the sockets and he completely forgot about addressing my sliding glass door concern. I never heard anything from Joel after voicing my concerns. He never attempted to reach out to me. A professional would have made sure i was happy with their work. Just poor business and unprofessional. Small business and not trying to knock them down but the business will not remain if that is the quality work being performed. Check your windows if you know boards need to be replaced b/c good chance they are covered with nice trim and rotten boards underneath.

The landlord you speak of, did not inquire about the job nor did the landlord pay for the job. You cashed my check. FYI my father was there when you inspected the poor quality and had the installers pull the windows out and replace the rotten wood. I could not continue to take time off work. Neither my father nor I have heard anything from Joel after the job was completed. Not "are you happy with the job now" "is there anything else i can do for you" zero communication. Understand Joel was upset he had to come out...but after the quality inspection he should have been upset with the installers not the paying customer. Poor business practices...hope they get better.

My Patio home is 20 years old and I knew that replacing my windows would offer me a significant heat and cooling savings over the original units. I called quite a few local companies, many of which had the big “Names” in replacement windows. Price was important but not my only consideration, I also wanted quality, dependability and someone who wasn’t just out to make a sale but knew what they were doing. I contacted Wimmer Siding-Windows-Roofing in High Point, NC for a quote on my replacement windows. Joel, came out and reviewed what I wanted and the fact that I had to stay within the allowed guidelines from my HOA. He then preceded to explain in detail exactly what work his crew would preform in order to replace my windows and showed me the options and pricing that matched my needs. The Wimmer crew showed up on time and on schedule, they were a friendly no-nonsense group that went right to work. My job called for about 1- 1/2 days of labor, at the end of day one they packed their gear and left the job site clean and neat with no unsightly mess. Day two, again on time and right to work, they finished just a little after noon. I was extremely pleased that both days Joel showed up on site to inspect the work and be sure I was pleased with the progress.
Well, it’s needless to say but I was thrilled with not only the quality of their work but also my windows and my pricing. They left everything clean and neat just like when they first arrived only looking better with my new windows installed. If you are looking for someone who does the job right, on time and with reasonable pricing then I don’t think you will find any better folks than those at Wimmer

We are absolutely thrilled with the 14 new windows! It’s like we live in a new house. We really like the grid less windows looking out on the deck and spend a lot of time gazing at the birds and flowers.

The installation crew was impressively fast, professional and most of all, polite and courteous. I was comfortable having them in my home. They also showed pride in their work, something that is hard to find these days.

***UPDATED*** Had a call from the owner and now a reply to my review... It had NOTHING to do with them not being able to come out for 3 wks, I get that everyone is busy! I could hear in the background (on the call I received) a ladies voice, assuming it was who I spoke with from the beginning. (you should have told me she was on the phone, I would have been happy to speak directly to her about how she spoke to me), but, I digress..... let me be clear to those reading this review, it is in no way scathing or telling you not to use them, it is simply stated my experience and how I was treated by the one answering the phone, that person is going to play a HUGE role in how a person may feel about a company and whether or not they use said company. This was my experience and I chose not to use their services, Google then asked me for a review (assuming because I visited the site) and I gave my account of events. There are always 3 sides to the story, mine, theirs, and the truth... either way the bottom line is my issue was with who answered the phone not the company as a whole, she just happens to be the person representing the company out of the gate. My one negative review is not going to impact the business enough to remove it. However, it was the truth on how I was treated and the company has all great reviews which is why I had called in the first place.

Sorry a bit long..... I did a search on Google and found Wimmer Siding Windows and Roofing. I called due to needing window replacement and to get an estimate. I wanted to try and give a small business my business. I also needed a good reliable vendor for my real estate business. When I called I left a VERY detailed vmail and my call was returned 24 hours later. The representative seemed short with me from the beginning and I am really not sure why. She stated who she was, and that I called for an estimate. She appeared to not have been the one to listen to my vmail because I had to tell her all the information again. (this would have been fine but from the beginning the tone was rude) When she told me they had an appt. 3 weeks out, I stated oh gracious that's to long I will try and call another company, I couldn't believe what came next.... a snarky laugh and the words 'well good luck with that, we are all busy' this was not a professional comment nor a necessary one. Needless to say I did tell her, 'well you all would have been my 2nd estimate so I am sure I can find someone'

This was a very disappointing experience for me and I hate that I will not, with good conscience, be able to use them in my future endeavors or my companies needs.... for the record I now have 2 more companies coming out to give me estimates, and they were able to come this week.

I was afraid to requesting window estimates due to them always being so expensive! Joel Foster was able to give me a great estimate and even included some Shake underneath the windows which I really appreciated! And time frame was amazing as well!

Very professional and responsive individuals. They put up with us trying to decide color for siding for weeks. When we finally decided, they were quick to order and got to our job almost immediately after supplies came in. (Delays in shipping due to COVID-19)

The quality is AMAZING! Very old farmhouse left them with a lot of hard work but the transformation was worth every bit of it.

Called Wimmer after I noticed some water damage on a baseboard underneath a window (not installed by Wimmer). Joel identified the issue right away and a quick, inexpensive solution. He could have told us we needed a new window and we wouldn't have known the difference! Trustworthy, honest, professional, friendly, on time. Finding ALL of those qualities in any business is nearly impossible! Will use Wimmer any time we need work and will recommend.

My first experience was a roof replacement. The appointment for quotation was met on schedule, the estimate was prompt, and the work was done according to the quote. The quality of the work was very good, the workers were on time and completed the job quickly. They did a good job cleaning up the old shingles and nails. They also did a roof for my father with similar good results. I strongly recommend them for roofing work.

Joel Foster was great to work with. They worked with me to get the quality replacement windows I wanted in my 3 story home and yet still stay within the set budget I had allocated. This included some difficult-to-remove custom sized basements windows that were approx 80 yrs. old. Magnificent company. Great work. Attention to detail was awesome. I was impressed with every aspect of the experience of doing business with Joel. I have had 3 other major jobs involving roofers siding and windows in the past. This was by far the best. And that spanned over 20 years. His workers were outstanding and left with cleaning up everything. Pricing was great to start with as a quote. After the job was done the price seemed like I was getting a gift. In this day and age it's hard to pay for an honest day's work and quality workmanship. This was all of that.

Very pleased with Joel and his company. Joel is not a pushy salesman. He ended up come out to our house three times before we sign a contract. He educated us on the different between casement vs double hung and let us make the decision. We ended up replacing our casement windows with double hung (so glad we when with double hung) and put up new siding as well. Nobody else could touch his price for the windows or siding. The work that Wimmer does is top of the line. I trusted them to be in my house when I was not home and had no problems. I would recommend Wimmer to every one and I will use them again for any home repairs.

We meet the owner Joel Foster and his wife at his booth he had set up at a Festival. Both were very polite. I decided to give him a call to give us a quote on 9 windows and a roof. He arrived on time with no issues. There was no BS in his sales pitch. Told us about the windows he had and answered all of our questions. He also gave us a quote on a roof. I called multiple companies to give us quotes. It was quite different - one company drove up in car and asked us for a ladder. The quotes were outrageous and most were double. One was almost triple the price for the windows. I decided to give a Wimmer a shot on Windows. They will be doing my roof later. To make a long story short; Here's what I liked about Wimmer. They were the only ones who seemed genuine to me. When you get the quote you'll see what I mean. Experience: Joel has been doing since he was 14 and Timmy the installer over 30 years.Both came out and did the install. The windows look great. They know what they're doing - very professional and personable. Trust me I'm hard to please and to me these folks are the best.

Please be aware that the worse quote was from The Roofing Pros. My Neighbor and I got a quote from these guys and the quote was nearly tripled from Wimmers. We thought they were trying to scam us with a high price because Wimmers product looked the same - The roofing material was exactly the same. They called back later and said they would cut $500 off the price. Why? It was like buying a car. Please stay away from these crooks. Get a quote and compare and you'll see what I mean.
