Todd Chalfant at Westbrook helped us tremendously. Not only did he have the most competitive quote, he took a lot of time explaining how and why our roof was defective. He also went into detail, if we chose his company how the roof would be repaired and in our case, replaced. This may sound like the normal process for a roofing company but we called 3 other companies and none of them were nearly as thorough as Todd. The new roof was completed in one day as promised and the results were as good as we expected. If you want to save yourself some time and money, call Westbrook.

They are elderly and it was important for this roof replacement to be stress-free without any surprises during the roof replacement. Little did I know, there would be one surprise after another working with Todd and Westbrook Roofing. He often did work the adjuster should have done. Todd came out and assessed my gutter replacement, made a temporary repair, and then provided me with a very reasonable estimate. He suggested a change in gutter color that significantly enhanced the appearance (and value) of my home. The job was scheduled within a reasonable time and, get this, THEY SHOWED UP WHEN PROMISED. The job was completed in one day including tear-off materials hauled away. My name is Ron Westbrook and I am in no way related to Todd or associated with Westbrook Roofing And Remodeling. As a matter of fact I did not use this company to install my new roof back in March of 2019.
(BIG MISTAKE) However, after using a better and cheaper roofing company my roof leaked for about 13 months in a very serious way, My original company gave up on the leaks and vanished. I then called in two other EXPERT companies to do the repairs and neither could find the leaks much less fix them. A month or so went by with sheet rock down
and buckets in my great room to catch water when it rained. My phone rings and it's an old friend that I told about my problem. He tells me that he had just installed a roof and the contractor was the best he has ever seen. Coming from a house builder that is not a bad recommendation.
I called Todd and the rest is history. Bottom line is if you need a roof why would you not call TODD.? Why not start with the best instead of ending with the best like I did??

We had a leak and weren't sure it was the roof. We had a couple of contractors come out and we chose Todd. When he came he was more concerned about finding the cause of the leak. Once he found it he inspected the roof and we made a decision to just replace it, not just fix the area.
The damage had started at our skylights. Todd fixed the damage caused by the leaks. He didn't stop there. He fixed the interior and made sure it was painted and looked finished. The crew was easy to communicate with and Todd was on the job the whole time. He continually checked the work and made a few corrections. Our yard was cleaned up the same day, but Todd still came out the next day to check for any missed nails and to review the work. He has stopped by a few times to make sure everything is fine.
I wouldn't hesitate to use Todd again, and I recommend him to you.

After one roofer tried to rip me off by wanting me to pay more than my deductible, I called Todd. He came out, explained what he would do, contacted my insurance company and after approval, did a great job and all I had to pay was my deductible. When it comes to reviews, I rarely do them without incentive. But Todd was so phenomenal it warrants the time and effort. Not only was he prompt in response, he was reliable in showing up for the appointments. He walked the property, thoroughly examined everything, and offered input along the way. He took time to help me understand the paperwork. That's great and all, but talk can be cheap. Thankfully, the work he put in backed it up. They consistently showed up on time, completed the work, and left no evidence they had been there other than a great repair. Highly recommend them.

I was in need of a new roof and some intricate repairs on a curved front porch... water had leaked into the soffit and rotted the eave substantially.
Todd and Charles came out to survey and I felt as if I had known them for years. They were very thorough in assessing the work and upfront with the costs.

Rain hampered the project but they were always ready to work when they could. The porch was fixed first and looks as if there was never a problem.
Additionally, they replace various rotted trim around the house and again, it looks great.

The weekend the rain held off, Todd had his full roofing crew at my house at 7am Saturday morning.
They began tear-off immediately and worked through the day and left when it got dark, the roof nearly complete. They were back Sunday morning to finish up and left the area around my house spotless. The rain started up again Monday, but no worries... I had my new roof.

He stays on site when the dumpster is dropped off, throughout the entire day during installation, and he even comes back himself to check for a third time to make sure all dropped nails are collected.

Often overlooked details, such as the pipe jack material, the color of the drip edge, the quality of the ridge vents, valley metal, type of felt underlayment, etc. really impact the quality, longevity and appearance of the finished product. These are the type of details that other companies will overlook. They certainly won't take the time to educate you as a consumer because the more corners they cut the more money they keep. This simply isn't how Mr. Chalfant practices his business. He helped us pick out the shingle color and gutter and downspout colors that best matched our house, and then showed us all of the extra steps he was going to take on our behalf.

I had Westbrook come out to do a estimate on a roof replacement of my home after having several other estimates, they were the first ones to actually get on the roof and look it over as well as being on time for the estimate and performing the work. I've found with any contractor these days they are never on time which is a real pain, except for Westbrook. They replaced my roof with more updated techniques an materials along with some decking, since my home is 40 years old. They also installed gutters around my home and it turned great also. Todd was great to work with and they did an excellent job on my home! I would recommend these guys to anyone without a doubt.

Westbrook Roofing did an amazing job replacing our roof and skylights last week. Todd (the owner) was extremely helpful in making informed decisions on what products to use. I really appreciated the time that Todd took with me explaining all the choices and that he did not try to up sell or pressure me to go with more expensive products. We went with the Architectural Shingles and the new roof looks fantastic! We have already had one neighbor stop us and comment on how great the roof looks! I had a new roof installed in mid October of 2017 and had an exceptional experience with Westbrook roofing. Todd was so helpful in every phase of the project and oversaw the entire job. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and arrived on time every time I met with him. He was very informative about the products he installs and very helpful in picking colors that better match your home. I am an OCD person with very few people being able to satisfy me when paying for a job. Todd and his team blew me away! This is the first and last roofer I will ever use. I couldn't imagine a better experience than the one I have had with Westbrook Roofing. Todd went so far above and beyond to help us. He dealt directly with our homeowner's insurance company(we had storm damage) and spent hours on the phone with them giving them all of the information they needed. Any issues that came up due to our insurance not wanting to pay the correct amount was handled by Todd. Todd also came here right away to put a temporary fix on the roof while we waited for our insurance claim to go through the process. On the day of the roof replacement the workers were very kind and did an amazing job. By some miracle I haven't found any nails on the ground because these guys cleaned up like crazy. I couldn't believe how well they cleaned up, you wouldn't even be able to tell they were there. Our roof is beautiful and will last for 50 years. Todd cares about his customers and you cannot go wrong with this company. I will recommend them to all of my friends.

Nothing but great things to say about this company! The owner was informative and educated, I never knew so much about roofing until now. Customer service was over-the-top! Todd came out on two occasions to discuss everything and was very patient as we talked to multiple other companies before making our decision. One thing that set him aside from all others was he did not talk poorly of the other companies. His portfolio and long list of references spoke for his work and it was clear that his confidence was earned through hard work. Todd and company redid the roof for our office building in 3 days, including some complications with existing electrical work on fans. The team was very professional and worked around our schedule. I am one to do my research and I could not find anyone to give me a bad review of Westbrook before i chose them. You might be able to find another company that will take short cuts and give you a cheaper quote but Todd and his crew made sure everything was done top notch and anything done to a top standard is worth paying a little more. Todd personally came out to my house several times explaining things and after the job was completed to make sure everything was clean. Todd really went above and beyond after the to not only make sure all the paperwork was squared away but making sure all the debris was clean. I didn't find 1 nail or piece of trash after he left.

I believe in putting a very honest review so the only incident that occurred that I could think to put is I have a very steep roof and at some point during the install a pack of shingles fell from the roof and landed on my bush. Todd was more than happy to do what he needed to make it right. It was an incredibly hot day for him and his crew to be on the roof and if thats all that happened then I am more than impressed.From my experience I cant say enough about Todd and Westbrook.

Westbrook Roofing and Remodeling is a good, honest company. Todd was the most prepared out of the three roofers who quoted my home. I have had the roof installed now for over 6 months. I purposely waited to write this review until it had rained several times. After installation, I had one small leak on an exterior wall next to a chimney. I called Todd, and he came out personally within a day or two and repaired the leak. There has been no issues since. The roof looks great. I like the way he did business. I am a local attorney and have tried cases involving bad contractors and many of them are unlicensed, do poor work, and seek to rip off homeowners, so I definitely was cautious entering into this relationship. Take it from me, hire this company. It's not so much about whether or not a company can do perfect work 100% of the time, because that is unrealistic...but the real issue is whether or not they stand behind their work and do they deal fairly and this company does both. The day they replaced our roof they were under the gun to get the job completed before it rained, and they did just that. They cleaned up after the job and left our house in excellent condition. The new roof looks great, the clean driveway and walk stand out, and we have gotten many complements on the roof. One neighbor said “Your roof looks great I could not get over how well the crew worked together to get the job done”. He also said “for our next roof we are calling Westbrook”. I would highly recommend Westbrook Roofing. Todd, (the owner) and his crew came on time, got to work even in 97 degree weather, and did a beautiful job. They cleaned up after they completed the job and left the place in excellent condition. I used them based on a recommendation of a friend and after I looked at his roof I was sold. Todd advised that a drip edge was required by city code so one was installed as well as a ridge vent, the old power vent was removed and covered over, the turtle vents were also removed. My old roof was only put on in 1998 but it was really ragged looking, it also had wind damage, it was bleeding all over. Todd completed the job on time, at the price quoted and the jobsite was cleaned up, the driveway pressure washed and the roof looks terrific. Todd filed the guarantee with GAF and I've gotten their confirmation in the mail 6 days after the roof was installed. This is the roofer to use.
