My yard looks great! I was given prompt responses and thorough work! He took a video while taking a look at my yard and told me all of the things that he could work on. I was given the option to have it all done or pick and choose what I wanted. I was also given an option to give a budget and he would help me prioritize work within my budget. He answered all of my questions in a clear way. I looked into Weiss initially because I saw their trucks and crew working in my neighborhood. I ultimately chose them because I was impressed that they have certified arborists and they really care about doing the job the right way and at a fair price.

Cody and his team did a great job removing three trees and grinding out the stumps. Cody answered all my questions in a friendly manner.

Highly recommended if you need tree removal. They have a very quick and efficient operation and are cheaper than all other tree services in the area.

I had a very large ash showing of disease and it was located very close to my house and neighbors. They did a wonderful job, very careful and cleaned everything up.Highly recommend.

These guys are like watching art in motion! They quickly, gracefully & professionally removed my large silver maple, taking all the debris with them & not chipping it at my house. Not only did my neighbors & I appreciate not hearing that noise, but I learned that they properly dry & chip all their wood back at their facility where they can make a quality mulch instead of the guys who bring the chipper trucks with them & shred fresh green wood. The removal of the stump was just as fun to watch, & not only did they remove all the surface roots & leave my yard perfectly level (I’ve seen many bumpy lawns left by other companies in our neighborhood), but they cleaned up so well after both the tree removal and the stump grinding that you would have never known they were there! They were so careful with the stump grinding that the flowers around where the stump was are blooming!

Very good customer service. I called to have some trees limbs cleaned up and arborist Cody Jones was there the next day to scope out the work. Then they had come and gone without us even noticing and next thing you know our tree is looking better! Would recommend to anyone!

Steve came out to give an estimate on the removal of 2 dead trees in my backyard. It was an easy decision to move forward with Weiss Tree Service. Steve was extremely knowledgeable. He even told me why my trees died! I had no idea! He is coming back in June to treat my Ash tree. Highly recommend!

Steve Weiss runs a 1st Class tree service company with his professional team of employees doing excellent work and always going the extra mile to please and earn their customers' business. I know this because I have been their customer and will continue to be if the need arises. They have top of the line equipment for their employees to handle every need in doing their job safely and to perfection. Weiss Tree Service did an excellent job removing my black walnut tree and trimming another tree in my yard. The walnut tree had dropped walnuts on my roof and they got on the roof and cleaned them off along with cleaning any walnuts out of my gutters. I was very impressed with how clean they left my property.

Excellent service: for tree service ( taking down, trimming), does all my bush trimming in the fall, has landscaped my yard and done yard cleanup. Great crew to have do the jobs and when they finish the yard is left perfect. I highly recommend Weiss Tree Service.

Great service. I contacted Steve about getting my oak tree trimmed and it had to be done the next day. He got a crew out there the next day and got the job done.

They took down a very tall, large tree in an awkward spot . They did so without any damage to the other trees or buildings in the vicinity. It was an amazing process to watch. Cleaned up beautifully. Very professional, very nice crew. Really appreciated the work the crew did.

Weiss Tree Service, owner Steve Weiss personally supervised the tree service he provided to insure all trees and debris were cleaned up in our yard after the recent tornado hit in the county by Nevada, Iowa. The services were excellent!!!

10/10 experience with weiss. scheduling over the phone was a breeze, they showed up as soon as weather would allow, and they had our tree down in about an hour. the biggest thing that stuck out to us, though, was the skill, care, and attention to detail. they moved our potted plants out of the way to ensure they would not be damaged and moved them back when they were done, they were skilled and careful with every branch they cut down, and by the end they actually left our driveway cleaner than it was when they showed up. the invoice was exactly what we were quoted over the phone. 100% recommend and will call on them again if the need arises.

Our kitty was stuck in a tree overnight and was too scared to come down. We called Weiss Tree Service early in the morning and they responded right away and saved our little guy. They did it without hesitation and with smiles on their faces. We really appreciate how they went above and beyond to help!!

Had a couple of dead trees that needed to be removed. Got a quote on Monday and they were able to come on Friday. The employees were great. They came when they said they would. The gentleman who was in the bucket knows what he was doing. He found several tree that needed to be removed because of elm disease that we weren't aware of. Got an additional quote before they continued. So they removed a total of four trees and trimmed about five or six more. The employees work well together. Excellent with their safety. Always aware of the surroundings. Wearing noise canceling hard hats. Each employee knew what they had to do and did it. They even raked and picked up the little twigs. Left the yard cleaner than it was before they started. When it came time to load the debris they had to park on the road. Had cones in front and behind the truck along with flashing lights on the truck. Excellent service would highly recommend Weiss.

This group came and completely transformed my yard. Dead tree removal, widowmaker limbs removed, volunteers and invasive plants removed, stumps removed, all debris removed, trees trimmed for personal and property safety. They were amazing! I had neighbors walking by and watching the entertainment! If you get a chance to use them for your tree services, take it. Left it cleaner than they found it.

Very efficient tree and stump removal. We had some large branches hanging over a neighbor's fence and they were easily able to handle it while taking the tree down. They used a really cool machine to do the stump removal and it made the process very quick.

I have worked with Weiss tree service for 8+ years, Steve is very professional and has vast tree knowledge. The crews are very productive and have close attention to detail.

The crew arrived with six men and one crane operator at 8 o’clock sharp, which was the agreed-upon time. They worked tirelessly throughout the day and removed and 80 foot honey locust, 60 foot dead ash tree that was threatening to fall on our house, and another tree, which was dead, and also 60 feet tall. They were efficient, courteous, professional, and obviously expert at what they were doing. The crane was necessary because you could not get equipment into our backyard and they were very careful not to harm our driveway or front yard where they needed to park The owner was out to our house twice before the work was done to make sure it was done to our specifications. I really cannot say enough about Weiss Tree Service. I would recommend them to anyone, and I think they are the best in the county!

I had one tall dead ash tree removed, a maple thinned and two stumps ground. The Weiss crew were truly professional, efficient and cleaned up with great care. The Weiss team behaved with integrity and I would work with them again because they kept their word.

Steve was a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, this year has been extremely rough on me financially, and thanks to the derecho killing my oak tree, it needed to come down due to losing limbs with little to no breeze. Steve took into account my story over this year and offered to cut me a deal. Regardless of Steve and his crew going above and beyond for me, they were fast and punctual in getting my tree taken care of and cleaning up along the way. This was the second project we engaged, Steve and his team! We have a small acreage with over an acre of dense over grown Forrest. They did an excellent job which included taking down the biggest of trees AND pruning all of the smaller Maples, lilacs, flowering pear trees, and ornamentals.
Steve went above and beyond with clean up and extra projects needing to get done in a timely matter. We highly recommend this team!

i've never had better service than i've gotten with these guys, very professional and did everything they said they would, i've used them many times and steve treats me like one of the family.. always prompt and very quick.

Steve came out the day I called. My dog was super rude to him and he didn't mind. He had his team of guys out the very next day to take care of my dead and falling trees. His team worked methodically and got everything taken care of less than 2 hours. They did a great job cleaning up the mess and putting everything back.

I had an EAB preventative treatment for my Ash tree. Steve and Chip were great! They kept me updated about the status of the treatment. Very appreciative!

We called about an ash tree removal and he came over in just a few hours. I knew it would have to come out and he confirmed it. We talked about a few other things that needed fixing up and came up with a plan. When they came a few days later I was impressed with how prepared they were and their crew and equipment. They went right to work and in a short time we’re done and cleaned up beautifully. We have a couple trees we want to remove and replace in the back yard and Weiss is who we will call, no doubt about it. They were fantastic.

Chip Murrow is an honest and professional forester. I had a one of the maple trees removed, another maple trimmed of dead branches, and the removal of an oak trunk in the back yard. Stumps were grinded. The crew came and one hour later the damaged maple was removed. The man who sawed the tree down piece by piece was an expert. The crew were very professional and polite. I was amazed at how clean the crew left my yard. Weiss Tree Service is the best there is.

I had Weiss Tree Service take down an ash tree for me that had been devastated by the EAB. Chip Murrow was excellent. He was the arborist, he met me in my yard, explained my options to me, and helped me decide upon a plan of action. He was super knowledgeable and broke things down for the none tree person like me. No high pressure sales or anything. The crew that did the work was fast, courteous and professional. I asked Chip to convey to the crew, please be kind to my lawn and they were. They did the best they could to not destroy my lawn and stacked up the large limbs just like I asked them. They left the place swept and cleaned up. I can't speak highly enough of Weiss Tree service, Chip and the crew represented them well.

I had a branch fall on my house and several that were in danger of breaking and falling onto my neighbors vehicles. Weiss was willing to work with me on the pricing so that I could get the most done with the money I had available. When they arrived they even went a step further and notified the city that the power line to my house was hanging too low and needed to be raised out of the tree line. The representative I met was personable, kind, and patient and the crew did a great job accommodating my fence line and neighbors. I have no complaints about the service and would recommend.

Weiss did an amazing job grinding down two stumps for us! Service was quick and a great price! They even took the time to chase down parts of the root system. Planted a new tree to replace to old one with no trouble at all. Highly recommend them!!!

Steve Weiss’ Tree Service is top notch! Fair, fast, and delivers as promised! Has the right equipment and is knowledgeable as a true Arborist.

We had a tree fall over some side walk we were going to be getting a chainsaw the next day to deal with the fallen tree but Steve happened to pass by and ask if we needed help? He whips out a chainsaw from the back of his truck and makes some quick cuts so we could clear the side walk. We appreciate him helping so readily.

They were incredible! The crew was working on our neighbors house and I went out to ask about an estimate. Mr. Weiss, himself, was there and looked at our yard, gave a quote and said they could do it right now. We shook hands and the crew completed work in under an hour. They removed a whole tree from back yard; trimmed and elevated three in the front yard; and pruned a tree on the side that had been hitting our house. Later that night I received an invoice for the exact amount that we agreed upon during the hand shake. 10/10 would recommend!!

They have helped us with an apple scab disease in our crab trees and have also removed a derecho damaged tree. They know what they are doing and they've earned our trust. Couldn't be happier. Had a very dangerous Ash that needed taken down and the high winds were making me really nervous. Called on a Wednesday evening around 6pm. Steve had me text him pictures and he walked me through options (and calmed me down). Came out the next day to look and by that Friday it was taken care of. Very happy with the prompt and professional service, especially in a world where it's often hard to get people to even call you back!

I recently had the pleasure of working with a fantastic tree company to remove a large mature catalpa tree from my property. Steve, Danny, Jericho, and Chad were the team assigned to the job and they were absolutely outstanding.
From the initial consultation (which was fairly priced compared to the "other guys") to the final clean-up, the entire process was seamless and professional. Steve provided a thorough assessment of the tree and discussed the best approach for removal. Danny, Jericho, and Chad worked efficiently and safely to bring down the tree without any damage to my fence and shed.
I was impressed by the team's attention to detail and their commitment to ensuring the job was done right. They were also extremely courteous and respectful throughout the entire process, making sure to keep me informed every step of the way as i had 1,000 questions.
Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the service provided by this tree company. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of tree removal services.
Also, they have an excellent grapple operator in Chad. The same day stump service was also an added bonus as the last company i hired, dogged me and left a stump in my yard. Steve was able to grind that one out for me for free(he called it a kicker).

Travis and his crew were awesome! Every bit worth the cost. I highly recommend them. They were fast and efficient and had all the right equipment. When they arrived, they all took their respective places/equipment and went right to work. Very hard workers. I was extremely impressed!

I called Steve today because a tree had split and fell partially on our roof . Steve was incredible ! He calmed me and told what to do like call the insurance company to start a claim and send him pictures of the tree. They were here in an hour and started work and did not stop til the last limb was picked up!!! The whole experience was just fantastic! Thank you so very much!!!!
