A man came to my door and said he was from Weather Guard and asked if his father Dan contacted me. He claimed Dan was on a neighbor roof in back of my house when he saw squirrels in my gutter. This man said he just wanted me to know about the squirrels. The main thing is there are trees in the backyard and you can't see my house from a neighbor house! I said I was not interested. He was polite, but I didn't believe his story.

Outstanding client service. Everything was finished fast and kindly by the guys. My roof and siding also look great! They did such wonderful and outstanding work, and I appreciate it!

Noticed a small leak last winter then again after recent storms but much worse Contacted 3 companies for estimates first 2 come out to look and basically told me my roof was going to collapse had to replace entire roof all new plywood and a truss one estimate was 45k and the other was 50k + I was shocked luckily I waited for #3 Weather Guards Improvements come out right on time showed him the leaks told me to give him 15 minutes to go up and inspect the roof (which neither of the other crooks did) come back in and told me and backed it up with pictures that my roof did indeed need replaced (25 years old) everything else was as solid as a rock his estimate for everything was $18,450. and that included new 6 inch seamless gutters ,they started the job on the day I picked had it finished right on time a wonderful experience kept me updated as job progressed met the rest of the family as it was a 5th generation business I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND WEATHER GUARD IMPROVEMENTS 10 STARS IN MY BOOK

I had water getting into my basement corner. When I reached out to weather guard. They set up my appointment and showed up! That’s a lot to ask for these days lol. Once they showed up they explained in detail the problem and what solutions would no only fit my house is problem but my financial situation.
The work was completed on time and since the repairs NO WATER!

As with others, they told me they saw a squirrel go into an opening of my roof and would fix it for $20. When going on the roof they also discovered my chimney was degrading and had a leak where water was damaging wood and other things. They showed where a shingle was pulled up & that's where the squirrels were getting in. Told me it would cost $18,400 to fix everything but with discounts would cost only $16,800. My son said they vandalized my roof and I should call the police! These people should get an academy ward for there acting. They come across as honest, caring, family people.Looking back a lot of what they were saying didn't add up. Later found pieces of chimney in my yard.

I was contacted by Weather Guard on Monday, June 8, 2020, through an inquiry made on Angie's List for upgrading my attic insulation. They scheduled an appointment for the next day, Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at 9 AM. On Tuesday no one arrived at my home at 9 AM. I waited until 10:30 before calling the number that I had received a call from to set up the appointment and left a message. I also called the phone number listed on this website and left a message there, as well. Today is Thursday, June 18th and I'm still waiting for a return phone call. There is no way I would recommend this company for any type of work. It's too bad that you can't give a rating with negative stars. Why are they even listed on Angie's List?

I had a roof replaced by Weather Guard. It was a bit tricky because the roof was also a deck for a condo. These guys were quick to submit a bid, showed up and did the job exactly when they said they would. Rather than disturbing the tenants, they accessed the roof/deck with ladders. When I had concerns about the caulking (it looked messy to me), James took my concerns seriously and even came out himself to be certain the job was done right. They were responsive and, I think, have excellent customer service. I would recommend them highly.

James (Weather Guard Improvements) came highly recommended after receiving 3 estimates my neighbor told me about James so I gave them a call best decision I’ve made in a long time they came right out and gave my roof a thorough inspection and showed me exactly where my problems where before I told them they were spot on they told me a repair would last me a couple years I decided to go with a new roof they removed my old shingles replaced bad wood then put a layer of synthetic underlayment all new chimney flashing then GAF Timberline Ultra HD lifetime shingles and with my military and senior discounts done it for less than all 3 of the other guys James and his family turned a very stressful situation into a very pleasant experience answered all my questions I liked their work so much I had them replace my 40 year old aluminum siding and as a little bonus they threw in new 6 inch gutters.Bottom line if you need any type of improvement done to your home and want to deal with a professional company that goes above and beyond your expectations are hands on are family owned and operated I highly recommend them only wish that their was a higher rating than 5⭐️ They deserve it.

I recently hired weather guard to redo my roof on my home in silver spring MD.
I’m writing this review to note that my experience was above A+
My prior roof was 20+ years old and was leaking into my kitchen. All though they was not the cheapest price or the highest. I felt like The service and customer care was perfect , as each product was explained and referenced with materials. Before and after photos was also supplied.
Being a family owned business it was refreshing to deal with not an employee but an owner. I now have my expert for all home improvement needs.

They came to my door claiming they saw a squirrel go in a hole in my roof and would fix it for $20. I just had roof work so was surprised. They went up and showed me pictures of a hole in my roof which they'd fix for $3,000! I was suspicious and told them to leave an estimate which they did not. Later I found a large section of shingle in my backyard. They tore a hole in my roof! My roofer came back and repaired it for $150 and said it was fresh damage. They used the same squirrel story up the street to "repair" some siding charging her $4600. Outrageous! They are complete RIP offs. Do not hire them!! And don't let them on your roof!

I hired Weather Guard to replace my 23 year old roof. My roof started to leak after some storm damage. Weather Guard was one of two vendors I received quotes from. By far Weather Guard was more thorough and gave a very professional initial presentation and competitive quote. They found squirrels in my attic which they chased off and they also made me aware that there was a concern that once the work started that there might have to be some rot repair near the chimney so I was prepared for the additional cost when It was discovered and substantiated with photos. They also repaired some cracks in the mortar flashing around the chimney which they repaired as part of the job. Overall I feel I got a good value and their work was top notch. The business is family owned and the owners were on site for the first day. Communication was good, The crew was professional and friendly and worked in a heatwave. They kept a clean worksite and when the job was completed the site was left immaculate. Overall a great job and a great contractor.

I asked the company to come out and do a leak assessment of my siding as I had a leak in my garage. We had an appointment time they were to show up after and they never showed. I emailed to reschedule and they said they actually did show up when I wasn't home. They had no idea where the leak was or what the issue really was. I'm not sure they every actually showed up as my camera did not detect them and my roof is only a few years old. They wanted me to pay almost $14,000 for a new roof. Meanwhile, I have had two other companies come out and assess my garage leak - they said my roof is fine and its actually very new for a roof. They both noted one small area in my siding of where the leak was and gave me options for less than $1,000. Not sure what scam they are trying to pull, but this company never came to my house. They actually had the audacity to tell me my less than 5 year old roof shingles are aging and need to all be replaced. Not sure what the good reviews are about, maybe I just was the lucky one to get the worst employee that day. I can't recommend them, but would say to stay away. Scam.

I hired Weather Guard Improvements to replace my roof and gutters (complete with gutter guards), and they did a fantastic job. They kept me well informed of the other problems that they discovered as they started the roof replacement, and I always felt that they were giving me an honest assessment of what needed to be done, and not just trying to make work. The problems they found and their recommendations were clearly explained and consistent with some of the things I had noticed myself but not yet addressed. Their workmanship is excellent, and they cleaned up very well. I will not hesitate to call on them again when I have work to be done at my home.

Great experience! I’ve used this company about 3 times over the last few years twice on my own place and once on a rental property. All around good guy very easygoing and straight to the point he never sold me on something I don’t need. Quick too! Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either some of these companies get crazy with the cost but not James.

Good luck in your Home Improvement Endeavors and if I was you I’d choose this guy.

Had James out 31/2 years ago to get estimate after being told by two other contractors that my roof was shot James told me he definitely could replace it but it didn’t need replacing at that time patched a couple places (at no charge I might add) told me I would get another few years he was right recommend him to a neighbor and he replaced their roof and 2 other neighbors as well,neighbors love me now super pleased after all the rain this year I figured it was about time so I called James came right out and reinspected my roof and we agreed it was time gave me a price that included a discount for the recommendations which was not expected but welcomed nun the less tore off old shingles replaced couple sheets of plywood and installed GAF Timberline architectural shingles,I’ll tell you what I don’t impress easily but they impressed me from beginning to completion, they don’t play around when they come to work they work don’t drag job out I was so impressed l had them replace my old aluminum siding with vinyl siding my house looks like something out of a magazine now. Have to say it was my lucky day 31/2 years ago when I called James out for estimate they are prompt,professional respectful as were their employees not so much left around my house I wish there were more than 5 stars reviews because in my book their a 10. So if you need any Home Improvements done do yourself a favor give them an opportunity you won’t regret it so nice dealing with an old school family business that tells you what you need only when you need it not because you think you need it or some other less scrupulous contractors make you believe you need it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️thanks guys
