I obtained 4 quotes before using W.E Brown Roofing to replace the shingles on our home. Three of the estimates were local and one was from Manchester. All the quotes were similar and I decided on W.E Brown. Brown had worked on a neighbor's roof this summer and the neighbor gave them high marks. A realtor friend also recommended Brown.

They came early on a Saturday morning and stayed until the job was done. The roof looks good and they cleaned up completely before they left.

They have done work on my roof several times (because it's old and needs lots of work) and it's always been a good experience. They are professional and timely. The communication is really nice, being able to do everything online makes it easy and seamless. Everyone is very responsive and friendly.

Communication was good, price was fair, and the crew was in and out in 1 day. I was impressed and would definitely use them again!

WE COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE FROM THE ESTMATE TO SETTING UP AND BEING ON TIME WAS EXCELLENT. EERYBODY WAS PLEASANT, ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS AND MADE SURE OUR YARD WAS CLEAR OF ALL MATERIAL WE WOULD BE GLAD TO RECOMMEND WE BROWN TO ANYONE.

They did a great job and finished the work and clean up all in one day. Finishing the job around 7PM at night to make sure the work was completed.

The only truly good thing I can say about my experience is that there is a new roof on my house now but the rest of the experience was terrible. I worked with Joe from WE Browning, he was a decent guy at first during the invoicing for my metal roof replacement. It should have been a simple job which he himself said would take 1 day. Instead, he forgot the date he was going to come (Monday) and sent a subcontractor from Maine to do the work starting on Tuesday. This guy and 2 other roofers came to the house, they spent more time talking and leaf blowing my driveway (for some reason) then doing any roofing work. The subcontractor spent a wild amount of time on the phone in his truck while not roofing. Joe then came and informed me the job would be $1400 more expensive for strapping on the roof (which exceeds the 10% agreed upon possible increase from the original invoice.) I said fine just because I wanted to get through the process but I wasn't super happy. They ended their first day just barely having stripped the first side of the roof. I was promised it would be done the next day... that didn't happen. Things seemed to be falling apart at this point and it wasn't until Thursday evening when I was informed that Joe was now firing the subcontractor who turned out to be stealing tools/equipment from the company. So, 4 days into a "1 day job" there was 1 piece of metal roofing on my house, and it was supposed to rain the next day. Joe brought his crew out the next day to get the job done. I've done the rest of the work on my house and wanted this project done in a fair and stress free way to save me from worrying about it but that DID NOT happen. Joe's "team" took way longer than promised, left screws, garbage and cigarette butts on my property, one of them turned out to be a thief who hung out at my home for 3 days and stayed late even after it got dark, and barely anything got done. Then Joe decided that it would be "fair" to upcharge me for his inconvenience and potential profit loss on the job from his own mistake of hiring a new subcontractor that was untested. Not great and honestly soured me on using anyone else to work on my house.

I wasn't impressed with the initial results, and called them expecting a battle. That couldn't have been farther from the truth. My concerns were addressed quickly and professionally. Super impressed and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thanks guys!

We bought a 90 year old renovation. Instead of my retired building contractor husband climbing we carefully sought a roofing company. We made the right choice. We were impressed with the work ethic, attention to detail, and price. It took 2 days!

Our experience started with a consultation from Wayne Brown. He walked around the house measuring it and talking about certain aspects that we might consider. We then sat down with Wayne and he went through all the different options to pick from since we were not sure at the time if we wanted to go back with shingles or go with metal. Wayne explained the pros and cons of both products and allowed us to come to an answer that both my wife and I felt comfortable with. After our visit it was only a couple of days when Wayne reached back out to us for another visit to go over the quote that he had written up for us. Wayne sat down with us and went through the entire itemized quote and explained the whole process to us. At the end of the meeting both my wife and I felt very comfortable with the choices for our roof that we had made and Wayne was a big help in guiding us through that process.
The next person we heard from was the owner Brad Hase. We had a short discussion where he explained any last minute details and that materials would be dropped off on Monday and that they would be there at 7:30 Tuesday morning to start my roof.
It was 7:15am when the crew of 10 arrived and within 3 hours they had the entire roof striped of the old shingles and by noon they had inspected and cleaned the roof and had laid down the ice and water shield and drip edge and were ready to start laying shingles.
By 4:30 pm that same day, they had completed the entire job and when I say entire job, I mean everything. Other than the beautiful new roof, you would have never known they were there. Everything was picked up and taken away. The workmanship of Brad's crew was impeccable and everything with the roof came out laser straight. I couldn't be happier with my new roof and for a person that pays attention to the smallest details, I can't find anything with their job that I was disappointed in.

I had a 30 year old roof. I had shingles curling and falling off and I needed to have it taken care of. it was time. I had a lot of anxiety about it because I’ve never had one done before and I thought my retirement savings would go out the window. I called three companies, and W.E.Brown and company were the only ones that returned my call in a timely manner. They pretty quickly came out and gave me an estimate which surprised me to be very reasonable, and explained what was needed, and made
recommendations. After waiting To get worked into the schedule, they came out and replaced the whole roof, as well as replacing several sections that were soft, at minimal extra cost. warkentein on the very timely manner, considering it was in the middle of winter, and did a very neat and professional job. They picked up any mess outside on a daily basis, leaving the areas clean. Thank you!
