Richard and his team did a fantastic job. They were honest and fair in their pricing. They fixed my widows on my second story that were leaking and causing water damage to the ceiling in 2 rooms below. No more leaks and no more water damage.

The site i saw said 70 yrs experience so I called thinking they would be professional but instead I got Richard he showed up and gave me an estimate and said he could try and work me in on Friday or Saturday but im off on Monday so he said he would keep me informed if he could make it is never heard from Richard again this place sounds like a one man business who ever pays more is who gets his service,,, I wouldn't waste my time on this business

Richard came and made a repair for a leak and checked for other potential issues. What other companies would only quote for a full replacement, Richard made a simple fix! He explained everything clearly, and I appreciate that he’s a “roofing nerd.”

My roof had a leak. I called Richard and I explained my problem. He was very nice and polite so I made an appointment with him. He confirmed the date and time. The night before the appointment, he said that he would need to change it from morning to afternoon around 1 pm to 2 pm. I said okay. When he didn't show up, I called him. He said that he had told me that it would be after 3 pm. When he didn't show up, I called him again. He said that it would be 4 or 4:30 pm. At 4:50 pm, I called him again when he didn't show up. He said that he wasn't even coming today. He said that he could come on Saturday or Monday.

Richard was very friendly and honest. I have a unique house with a unique metal roof and a lot of folks don't know what to do with it. I have had many people come out and tell me they won't deal with a roof like that, and instead recommend a full replacement to a regular asphalt roof. He took a look and gave his honest opinion without trying to upsell me. He also fixed an issue with some sagging soffits that had been giving us grief. Will definitely recommend to others!

I dealt with a Guy Named Richard -Owner of the company!! Very honest guy and let me know that I had another 10 years left on my roof.. plus you show me a lot of problems on the roof that maybe somebody had done putting in skylights... If you guys need anything like that, I Recommend him to be your Contractor. If I need a roof I will be calling back and then I will give him "five Stars "for his work...

I called WaterTight Roofing this morning due to a small leak in my upstairs bathroom ceiling. Richard the owner came out within the hour. He climbed up in my attic and got up on my roof to double check what my problem was. He advised me with what to do to fix the problem. Richard was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable with many years of experience. I highly recommend this company. I feel very blessed!

WaterTight Roofing Indy recently installed a drip edge and gutter covers on our house. I originally thought I'd install the covers myself, but after discovering there wasn't a drip edge on the roof, I called contractors for quotes in fear I'd do more harm than good by installing the covers without the drip edge. Watertight Roofing and Exteriors was competitively priced and did a great job. Thank you!

They put our roof on in 1994 and it still looks great after all these years had to call them out to fix a bullet hole in the roofing they came out right away and fixed it and didn't charge us anything for the fix I would recommend this company to everyone they are reliable and they have great pricing

Very impressed by their service model. They told us what they were going to do to give us a new roof, how many days it would take ( 1 1/2 days..and they started work at 6 am, worked til 9 pm and cleaned up on the ground the whole time they were working. Great team. And when we brought to them a couple of things that weren’t completed, they got right on them and did it with efficient professionalism. I highly recommend this company. I was impressed that the sales representative and the owner were on site several times each day and they even returned a week later to check their job!

The service provided was top notch. The guys went above and beyond what I was expecting. I would refer Watertight Roofing to everyone I know.

Richard was extremely helpful in dealing with disputes with Progrssive insurance. He provided several inspectors and claims adjuster with elaborate documentation and information to get the full amount due for damages. Ultimately we were paid about 15 times the original quote.

Communication was good and they showed up on time for both the estimated and actual work. I had a leaky gutter that needed to be fixed before I had a new patio put in.
I thought the pitch was off or a downspout was going to be needed off the side of my house. Watertight Roofing said pitch was good and all that was needed was an addition to go directly into the gutter, see picture. I now have a perfect working gutter with no leaks, even during torrential downpours. Thanks again to Watertight Roofing for fixing the problem.

I called 20 roofing contractors. Only 2 responded at all. The work was soffit repair and the damage was caused by raccoons. Richard responded right away and we arranged for him to come in a few days took at the job. The city had recently had a hail storm. Contractors were busy, but Richard worked me in. I ended up trapping 14 raccoons. A crew of three came and repaired everything in two visits. The work was well done and I was very satisfied. I will have Richard replace my roof next Spring.

Richard did an excellent job repairing my gutters. Of all the quotes I got for the job, he was the only one who actually got on a ladder and looked at the gutters around my entire home to make an assessment and quote. He showed me photos and videos of the issue and gave a clear plan for repair. On repair day he arrived and got to work, completing the work in a timely fashion. During the next rain shower, I saw a clear improvement. The area nearest to the foundation, beneath the gutter line was almost completely dry while the rest of the driveway was wet with rain water. My redirected downspouts were properly keeping water away from the foundation as well.

Watertight Roofing did a thorough assessment, offered a reasonable quote, and did quality work.

Richard the owner was very promoted in answering calls and questions. Him and his crew went above and beyond with the work on my home. Before his crew finished he walked the property to make sure the work was done right. He saw something that a crew member needed to touch up and made sure the work was done correctly. Next, he had me walk the property. From there he had me point out anything that wasn't up to my standards. Out of all the work they did I only found 2 things. That week he had someone come back out to fix it.

I just had an amazing visit/inspection/estimate from Watertight Roofing! The entire experience exceeded my expectation. I thought he (Richard) would look at the roof, take photos, measure and provide an estimate. Instead he inspected everything, explained my challenges and even provided me with a video!!! I called Richard to look over and give an estimate to repair my leaking porch roof from shoddy previous build. I was actually working with another roofing company, and their big name and well-known company made me think that I would get solid service and solid work…unfortunately, that was not the case and I was left with a leaking roof for months on end, until I finally decided to start the search process all over again.

I wish I had skipped all of the time and frustration and had found Watertight from the beginning.
Richard even helped me work with insurance to get them to cover more than I thought they would!

The communication was great, and EVERY time he said he would be there or do something, he was there or he did it. That was so important to me, and really gave me confidence and peace of mind. It sounds basic, but from my exhausting experiences with other roofing companies, I can tell you that it’s actually rare.
Another thing that I appreciated was that the job got done FAST. I wasn’t waiting around wondering if they had five other projects to finish, because they told me they’d start the following week, and they did.
Mine took two days because I have an older house that needed new decking, and I was amazed at how quickly their team got work done. The other important part is that Richard and crew were so meticulous, and really paid attention to the details. You can tell that these people have the empathy to make sure that your work is done just as well as they would do with their own homes.
No to sound corny, but I honestly do feel like I have a friend in the roofing business.

Update: it’s been a few months now, and we’ve had snow and ice, wind and thunderstorms! I’m happy to say that there hasn’t been a single leak or loose shingle—it really is watertight!

Richard and his group walked me through the process of how everything was going to be done. He consistently worked with the insurance company to make sure everything was done properly. He kept in contact with me along the way. I'll definitely call him again for any work that needs to be done.

We had a leak from our roof causing water to drip from our bathroom light several months ago they were able to fix it in one afternoon and he also fixed our gutters for better drainage we have not had any issues since I would highly recommend

I thoroughly trust the owner, Richard, to always be here as quickly as he can to do immediate repairs, and admire his knowledge of roofing systems that have extended the life of my roof and prevented future repairs. My gutters were loose on my house. But I did not realize until they were repaired that they were installed improperly to begin with. I am grateful that my gutters are now not only fitting correctly to the soffit better now properly installed.

Great service, very nice to work with. Came out on a Sunday to fix some metal siding before the rain next week. I hope I don’t have more siding blow off the house but I’m happy I know who to call if it does.

Richard of House Mechanics took my call regarding repairs to my attic vent. He was prompt and followed through with the necessary repairs. He was able to reuse the vent slats.The cost of the repairs was reasonable. I will certainly contact House Mechanics again if roofing related repairs are needed.

House Mechanics did a great job of repairing our gutters. Richard did a thorough inspection of the whole gutter system. He and his staff not only repaired our gutters but also repaired several damaged sections of the roof (the work of roof repair was free of charge, we did not even know there was damage on the roof). He joked with us after he finished the work that he was there to fix things. We are very pleased with their work and services. We will highly recommend them.

I learned that Richard is the third generation owner of the company. In today’s world that all businesses pursue profit maximization. It is not easy to find companies based on integrity and helping people work ethic. If you have a need for roof, gutter or siding work House Mechanics will be a good company to call.

Richard come out same day to provide quote. Quote was very reasonable to replace and repair 2nd story siding on my house, he was able to come back the next day to complete the job. Truly happy with his work. I will definitely be referring this company to family and friends.

Richard is very responsive and came out on short notice to fix a leak around a roof vent. He took a video and explained to us the problem we were having and what he did to fix it. He called before he came to provide an inspection of the damage and an estimate of cost. Richard provided a video of the damage and an explanation of what could have caused the problem. He provided a description of the materials and techniques of how House Mechanics would correct the problem. He gave a time frame for the repairs and how long it would take. House Mechanics crew show up on time and met the completion time promised, and the area was left clean and neat. The cost was in accordance with the estimate given. Richard is a gentleman. He's professional, courteous and he gets the job done at a reasonable price. He even cut an overgrown, high up tree branch for me after repairing the roof - free of charge! In today's society, it's not easy to find such a nice, honest contractor anymore!

Richard and his team came out and worked all day to help get my roof repaired. I had other previous quotes that were more expensive and didn’t cover all the issues he found. I appreciated him taking pictures and showing me what issues he found and explaining the problem clearly to me. Dealing with the insurance company requires experience, patience and persistence. Richard has all three. I had coverage that included replacing the storm damaged roof up to current code. That turned out to be quite expensive. We worked on it together and kept in good communication easily. Very pleased with result and recommend highly.

Really loved having him come and do our gutters. He was on time, efficient and he came back a couple days later to fix some loose boards under the gutters without having us to ask. He was super professional and did a great job. I would 100% recommend there services. Also, it’s a lifetime warranty on anything he fixes, yet you probably won’t need it because he does a great job the first time around.

Roof & Gutter Repair - The House Mechanics team was responsive to an initial request for inspection & estimate on the roof & gutter repair. Practical advice & recommendations on what required repair and what did not. They returned to perform the repair earlier than estimated. :)
Cost was lower than original estimate.

These guys were so amazing! My mom kept getting ripped off by other roofers until Mr. Richard showed up. The nicest, patient, professional and his crew as well. They gave us a brand new roof in one day and the house looks brand new again. Thank you!!

Great small business to support. They came out a few days after I contacted them (via text) and gave a quote. Two weeks later, they were here doing the work. Very reasonable price and great to work with. On a side note, I contacted another business the same day I contacted House Mechanics and am still waiting for a quote. House Mechanics finished their work here 2 weeks ago.

They showed up at the promised time, did an instant estimate and repaired our roof the same day at the price quoted. Good people!

Outstanding company. We had some minor wind damage to our roof and I called around to a bunch of companies in the area for estimates. House Mechanics offered an excellent estimate and scheduled the work for the following Tuesday. As I sent pics of the damage to the owner, he responded and said that it needed fixed immediately due to upcoming rain, and came out a couple hours later. Job finished, extremely reasonable and agreed upon price, and professional service.
