I think sometimes when going through work people forget that this is not my reality or day to day . I was devastated by my roof decking , and had no idea what was going on . I was afraid of where to begin and the financial burden . The owners held my hand through the entire process . As a young woman sometimes you can get taken advantage of when confused by numbers and the reality of your situation , I would send my sister , my mother , and any other woman I care for here .

They did a good job on a roofing repair for one house. However, when I requested additional quotes, they were unresponsive and slow to reply.

Edit: I am revising my review from a 3-Star to a 2-Star review based on the number of texts/calls I had received about my review. They were also very quick to send and resend the invoice after I had left the review. They also called to 'collect' after I had paid.

I've had this company do my roof and they did such a great job, I had them come back and install new gutters. They were fast and always easy to work with. Great people and a great company! They showed up on time, cleaned/installed my gutters in a couple of hours, and left everything spotless. No leaks, no hassle, and the best price I've found! Highly recommend!

Couldn't ask for a better family owned contractor. Pricing was better than we expected. They used top quality products with warranty on both workmanship and products used. They roofed my neighbors house, our house, and my daughters house. Also new siding, shutters and gutters on my daughters.They were always on time and had specialized skilled people doing the work. My Father in law, who is in his late years was takin advantage of with a promise of new roof. This did not happen and since then the company has fled the state of Indiana.
Jay and Lori were very empathetic to my Father in law and without a beat went through the process of written quote and understood the situation and worked with us to get all the materials needed to get a new roof decking and new shingles. Jay and his wife are amazing! They got me a whole new roof within a week of me having a leak, without charging extra for services or warranties like some of the other places I had called.

They also have a guy who does custom metal roofing so I got that over my bay window to look and perform better than some small shingles. Turned out great and I've had 0 issues with any of it after a few nasty storms this year.

ALSO I am selling my house and the buyer's inspector said the flashing was bad, so they took time out of their days to come double check. They wrote up a response for me so I could show the buyer that it was done correctly and up to code. Super appreciate Jay and his wife did that without asking for a penny and were there the day after I called about it.

If I could give 48 and 3/4 stars for these guys, I would! These guys are work animals! All I have to say is, everything was perfect! I didn't see any nails or shingles. Afterwards, they picked up all the garbage and cleaned everything up! They were just awesome - I highly recommend this company! Very friendly and hard-working people my moto has always been honest work for honest pay and they (no pun intended) nailed it!

They could have charged us and replaced something that didn't need to be replaced. Call them if you need anything with your roof!

Scheduled someone to come out and quote the price for some new gutters, and to take a look at our roof. No call, no show. I call Jaybird 20 minutes after the initial appointment and reschedule for today (Monday August 12th 2024) for 4:30pm. Another no call, no show. I had a friend and an uncle recommend these guys so I was hopeful. Unfortunately in my experience no one shows up.

I contacted Jaybird roofing about a roof leak on my home, Jay came out to give me an estimate to fix the leak which included removing my old chimney, I was very happy with the quote and said let's do it. This was on a Saturday and he started the next day, Sunday at 8 a.m. he was working on the roof. He did a outstanding job, I couldn't be more pleased. I was referred to Jaybird because we are selling our house and needing some soffit work fixed. I reached out on Saturday and he let me know he would be by Sunday to take a look at what we are needing done. He gave me a quick quote on a Sunday and I let him know we would be doing part of it, but needed to consult with my partner on the second part, but we probably wouldn't do it. On Monday, I reached out to let him know that we are passing on the second part and to just get the first part on the schedule. He knew we were on a time crunch. He replied to my text that it was already done!!! I had to go out and see for myself and sure enough he had already got the work done. I was in my house the whole day and didn't even realize he had come to get it done!! The work was exceptional and his communication is amazing! If I wasn't moving out of state, he would be my roofer for life!! Highly recommend!

I went to Jaybird after two colleagues recommended them. Good people who do quick & fast work. We have an older home with a unique gutter system that we wanted to keep, and Jaybird was totally on board and installed our new roof (new decking and all) without modifying our existing gutters. Very communicative. I'll be recommending them to others in the future.

Posted by Lee's wife: Jaybird did a great job and the workers were respectful, we are impressed by the end result. We live about 60 miles south of Indianapolis, so it's surprising they come this far. I was especially amazed by the way the gutter guys worked so seamlessly together. The former homeowner replaced the roof six years ago, but his roofers didn't replace the roof decking. The decking Jaybird removed was very thin and looked awful. Apparently the roof wasn't properly secured either. We've gone from having one of the ugliest roofs in the neighborhood to what I think is the nicest. I wish I had a before picture but I was sick and didn't think about it. I am not going to lie, there were some glitches and miscommunications between us, I think in part because of the distance. I do have to say that any mistakes were corrected to better than before, which is unusual in today's world. If I give a five star, you can be assured we're happy. I personally have given one star reviews to some companies from my account.

They tore off my old roof, replaced some old boards, and reinstalled new roof all in 1 day.The crew was very professional, respectful, and very knowledgable, total clean up when they were done as well. Jaybird was hired by me after vetting a total of three contractors. This was for my mother's roof and Jason and Lora were excellent to work with. They did everything they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. They were kind and caring about the situation. I was very impressed and my expectations were definitely met by this company.

They came out and gave me a great quote that I could afford. They also fix the gutter quick and in a safe manner. Left no screws or anything pointy so my dogs could go outside with no worries. Looking to working with them again for new windows!

They also scheduled our roof to be done the same week we reached back out to have them complete the roof and gutters on our house. I cannot heap enough praise on Jaybird Roofing's workers or project manager. They arrived on time, worked two very long days, and were tireless in the work they did for us. It was a complete tear-off, installation, and clean-up, on a very steep roof with many surfaces. The cost to do the project was very fair. I highly recommend them.

Monday afternoon we found a leak in one of our rooms we called Jaybird roofing within a few hours Jason and Lora was out inspecting our roof and gave us an estimate. Lora was awesome helping us with the process of getting our loan! She made us feel like we were part of their family. By Friday Jason and his crew was here by 7:30am replacing our roof and tearing the bricks around our chimney out. Around 4:30 pm they were all done. After they were finished they also did the clean up and double checked for any nails on the ground. We will definitely be using them again for future projects. Very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and flexible. My only complaint was one of the builders smoked on my property and in my garage. I have used Jaybird on multiple projects so this was an isolated incident in my situation. Builders do a great job cleaning up after themselves and make sure the product installed functions as intended and I approve prior to leaving the job site.

I had never had to replace a roof and felt like the process was going to be overwhelming. This was a flawless experience. It was only a matter of days between agreeing on the job and completion. The workers didn’t waste any time completing the job. They started by 9:00 each morning, and worked until after dark each evening, cleaning up as they went. The siding looks great! Highly recommend.

I asked the crew leader to address a concern about a fascia board and they jumped right on it even though they were trying to finish up and leave. They were friendly and this company actually cares about the work they do. That is very hard to find these days.
My roof was not just an easy straight-line roof. It has a lot of peaks and valleys and different roof lines that tie together. They handled it all. Also a lot of companies will just roof over bad decking and not cut it out in order to save time and move on to next job. I didn't have a ton of bad decking but did have some around the chimney and other places. They replaced it so the rot did not continue. Please don't hesitate to use them. They are great folks!

Being in the customer service industry for over 40 years it’s hard to find good a company that understands this. That’s Jay and Lora they both are great to work with. They completed everything that was asked of them. They answered all the question we had. They did our roof our gutters and a huge front porch. They got them done when they said they would and even did our siding. We did not plan to do our siding but they gave us a great deal on installation and the siding.I would highly recommend them to anyone.
