I hired them to replace my mom’s roof, and I was blown away by the speed, quality, cleanliness, and pricing. I used to do roofing years ago but cannot anymore and they nailed it. Could not even tell they were there. Not even a speck of the plastic strips off the shingles, nail, anything. Highly recommend and will only use them. I also had customers with ice dams this year, and despite them being inundated with work, they still managed to help them and prevented more property damage. Thank you Walker Industries!!!!

we have had a great experience working with Walker industries. They installed a new roof on our 250,000 ft.² , 200 room full amenity hotel . They are competent professionals from the planning stages right through the completion of the project . It was one of the best experiences with the Contractor we’ve ever had. They also perform our Snow removal from around the building during the winter. I highly recommend them.

June update: After learning in June of a safety issue that happened while the work was being done, I emailed the Company to complain. I was contacted by the co-owner, Ray, who took responsibility for my poor experience. He ernestly wanted to work with me to make sure I was satisfied with the project, and he even offered to pay for workers I selected to address my concerns. I learned that the folks I had poor experiences with are no longer at the company, and that he is working on taking over the business. I think this could be a great company to hire under Ray's supervision.

November 2022. Scope of work was roof, skylight and one window replacement. One of the owners, Ray, did the inital quote and he really sold me on the plan he had to meet the needs of the house. They sent a 3rd party crew to do the actual roof- and that crew was professional, fast, and did good work. The rest of the project was fraught with problems, bad behavior by a carpenter and through poor communication, some of the project wasn't completed.

DISASTER!
$41,000 in damage / down payment to these unprofessional people.
8 months since they “started” and my roof still has water pouring in.
- Found out Dan Systo / Walker Roofing let their contractor’s license lapse as of 2019. They presented me with paperwork for the contract with a company name on it that went out of business years ago.
-I wish I had caught their deceptive practices before this happened but the damage literally happened in a matter a few hours - total chaos.
-Walker Roofing / Dan Systo BADLY damaged my house including neglecting to use tarps and they did not remove the gutters prior to ordering the crew up on the roof to scrape the old roof shingles off. This caused the gutters to rip off the house, scratch and gouge cedar siding and windows. Including a window hit so hard by their crew that it was wrenched directly out from the wall with a broken frame.
Dan never came to see the damage and instead defended his crew. Madness.
——Dangerous.
Used the wrong ice and rain shield. Left sharp pieces of metal all over the yard. Attached a few pieces of steel slats to the roof that blew down over the winter literally sticking in the deck and causing more damage and danger. Fired them.
—Went all winter with water pouring into my house. I have photos and estimates to repair what Dan Systo / Walker Roofing did to my house.

Don’t touch these people with a ten foot pole!

To me there is nothing more important to a home than a secure water-tight roof. Walker has decades of experience and professional crews to deliver a high-quality roof (and barn siding in our case). Our first project with them was a roof replacement in the summer of 2011. We got several bids, and they were not the lowest quote, nor the highest, but a trusted builder friend of ours told us for a metal roof, he would only use Walker. We took his advice, and we remain extremely pleased we did and have used Walker several times since that initial big job (e.g., barn siding, roofing a gazebo).

Just one story to underscore how professional they are. First, Tom came to look at our roof and prepare the estimate. From that day to this very day, he has earned our complete trust. As our luck would have it, just after they had removed our old asphalt shingles and we were down to bare sheathing, Hurricane Irene was forecasted to come our way over the weekend! Tom demanded his crew to take down all the scaffolding that surrounded our home and to tarp the entire roof. His crew was not happy about it, as it was a huge job to erect, and it would all have to be done over again. Irene came and did substantial damage in our Deerfield area. Trees down, flooding, and Walker's crews could not even drive from their shop to our home on Monday morning given all the washouts and flooding.

We did not have any leaks in our home! And the price remained as quoted. Quality company, quality people. After 12 years, we still don't have any issues with their work.

We were repairing a rubber roof that was done incorrectly by another company. Walker Roofing came to see the roof quickly and on time. They did the job when they said they would in a very professional manner. They matched the trim to go with the house and it looked great with a reasonable price. When they left there was no sign they had been there! It was clean and picked up...not a nail to be seen.. They are awesome friendly, informative and professional. Can't recommend them highly enough.
