Walker construction installed a new metal roof on my home they were on time , polite, very professional great install.

I used Walker Construction for my bookstore build out and would recommend them to anyone. The only issues we ran into were from my management company, and they handled the hurdles well. I love the work they did and they are great people.

Had them do quite a bit of work at my house, one of the things was replacing my back door. They left the outside unfinished stating that they would finish it when they fixed my deck. I never asked them to do my deck, only to quote me for it. They were supposed to return to finish a few things and never did and ended up just ghosting me all together. Now I have water wicking into my house where they replaced the door and didn’t finish the job.

I called for assistance, asked for them to come out and give a quote. Let them know I had two others coming out. They said if you don’t find what you need, give us a call back in other words they weren’t even willing to come and look before I made a decision.

My husband and I hired Walker Construction based on the great reviews as we wanted to finish our basement bathroom. We were extremely pleased with our experience. Mona is so sweet and was very swift in getting back to us to schedule a quote, and the process was very seamless. Carl and his team were so polite and very professional. My husband said they are really wonderful people to work with. They were able to finish the work quickly and the end results are perfect! We were amazed at how they could turn nothing into something we love. We absolutely plan to work with this company again for other projects.

***Update Walker Construction helped us with a few more projects and we couldn't be happier! Carl and his team expanded and screened in our back deck and put down wood floors in our entryway. Everything looks amazing and we are so pleased.

Carl Walker and his crew did an amazing job on our home, twice. We initially hired Walker Construction in July 2021 to remodel a home we had just bought. Then June of this year (2022) a large tree fell hitting the back of the same home doing extensive damage. Our claim was well over 100K. The insurance company sent a big name contractor out but we did not care for them. We immediately called Carl Walker Construction back out. He was able to start quickly and has made our home beautiful once again. His team has gone above and beyond for us. We are moving back this weekend, 2-3 months ahead of when the other company said they would be finished. We cannot thank them enough.

I called for an estimate and the wife came out took pictures. When asked for a quote she told me it takes more than a week to give me an estimate for a porch covering. Walker construction never return my calls unprofessional or is it something else I’m not sure.

I cannot say enough good things about Carl and the Walker Construction team. He is honest and friendly. He hires Vets which is a plus. The quality of work is great and the turnaround time from start to finish is more than acceptable. For those that complain about slow responses or delays you need to ask yourselves, have you checked with others? EVERYONE is swamped these days. I have never been more satisfied with a contractor than I am with Walker Construction. I WILL use them again and have already referred others!

We trusted this company to do a remodel project for our family. They gave us a quote for the job, and referred us to do an abatement with their partners. The abatement team ripped out half of our home down to the studs. Walker construction then took days to respond and delayed repeatedly to send the final contract. They refused to complete the job after they increased the cost of the job by thousands of dollars and refused to scale back any of the project to remain within our budget. They abandoned our family with a giant hole in our home like it meant nothing to them. One star is too many. Do not take the risk working with this company.

Carl Walker and his team took out a wall and did various things to our new home to make it toddler friendly. Installed bathroom heaters, moved air ducts, appliances, and flooring. They were responsive, easy to talk to, and gave us insights to work within our budget. Finding someone trustworthy to work on your home can be scary, but they were great!

Deck Repair....Walker Construction did a great job for a fair price in a very timely manner! I would recommend them to anyone!

I cannot say enough good things about Carl Walker and his crew of workers. They are kind, professional, will answer as many questions as you need to ask. The quote is extremely fair and the workmanship is above expectations. They just renovated a bathroom for me, laid down all new floor and moved the laundry room down to the first floor. Thank you Carl.

Mona and Carl were amazing to work with. Mona handled the scheduling and customer interaction and Carl performed the labor. Both were extremely professional, kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. My back door had a leak, and the molding around the door was severely damaged. I thought I was going to have to replace the whole door, but Carl was able to save the door and repair the molding. The price was very reasonable and I am fully satisfied with the outcome. Mona assured me that the work would be guaranteed for a realistic timeframe and any issues will be corrected. I am glad I chose Walker Construction, and will definitely use them again in the future!

Carl and his crew built us a very large covered and screened porch with a hot tub deck attached. Couldn't be more happy with the work and experience. Very professional and stayed on the project until it was done even working in the rain a day or two. I will be using them again soon to replace some windows in my rental house. Knocked out our punch list in less than one day. Class act company. Highly recommend.

Carl and his wife are very nice people but unfortunately they are not good business people. He took on more jobs than he could manage and we were one of those, he should have been honest up front that it was too much work for him to oversee. Although the work the guys on the job did was pretty good, Carl rarely came by the jobsite (our home) and had really no idea what was going on. Once the job was complete he didn't even ask if we were happy or come to check on the work he just sent an invoice. Well the invoice was over 30% more than the original quote (not including the additional few jobs we added on once they were in our home working). And when confronted with this Carl literally said he had no idea why the cost was that high, he was just passing on a number that his guys on the job gave him. He had had no explanation for why his quote was so far off the final cost, that's just bad business. It was painful writing a check to a man who had rarely been a part of what was happening over those weeks at our home for a number that he had no idea where it came from. But we wrote the check to be done with him, we will not recommend him and wanted to caution everyone. They are very nice people when you meet them but poorly quote jobs and did not oversee the job like I would expect a contractor to, otherwise why am I paying extra for a contractor, I could have just hired the workers myself and managed them myself, which is what I had to do.
