If you BUY a vehicle there with a check. They will hold the title till it clears even if you get your bank manager on the phone and he reassures them it's good. Even if they have to drop your title on the floor when your not looking. Then when the check clears you got to go get your title. They won't mail it to you. I will never buy another vehicle there. I see why people finance now. Dealerships don't want you to pay for it outright. lf l knew he kept MY title that vehicle would of been left sitting on his lot and me and my worthless $22,000 dollar check would of went home in the vehicle that brought me there.

My primary contact is with the service writers. Both Larry and Chris have gone above and beyond several times. Larry solved a problem just a few days ago and his assistance is greatly appreciated.

Traveling across a few states my engine just about blew out with no warning due to a recall. I was able to get my car towed to them and they immediately checked my vehicle out the next day. Right away their communication and honesty stood out to me. Instead of getting my car towed back to where I live I decided to keep it with them. I worked with Larry the whole time and he continued to provide the best service to me. When the parts came in and my car was available, he let me know right away. He even had his people take me to a hotel initially and also when I arrived on a flight back in town to get my car. My car has been driving perfect since and he helped me get all my reimbursements.

I have been so highly impressed and grateful to have broken down closest to this place. I wish they were in my state because I would take my car back to them any day confidently.

Larry Davis at Wagner Ford treated us very well.
We came to Wagner Ford for a second opinion, after having been told by another dealership that our truck's cam phasers were rattling.
Larry and the tec or tecs who evaluated our engine were very confident our engine was fine. They even kept our truck another day and checked again.
I can't tell you how much we appreciate their honesty!

I live in Northern Virginia and purchased a used car from Jordan Chauncy at Wagner Ford. Jordan was honest, cordial and professional from start to finish and exceeded my expectations. Besides the pictures on the website, Jordan answered all of my questions and even sent me a video walkaround of the vehicle which closed the deal. He made it easy for a guy in Virginia to buy a car in Nebraska.

I had called around a few local dealerships in the Omaha area looking for a 2024 Ranger Raptor. I was surprised to learn that nearly all of them were still charging over MSRP for the vehicle. I then came across Wagner Ford which had the exact vehicle I had been looking for and were able to give me $500 off for a Ford military appreciation rebate.
Being 5 hours away I was nervous about wiring over my deposit, filling out digital paperwork, and figuring out how to get picked up from the local train station. Clay went above and beyond throughout the process and answered any and all questions with punctuality and professionalism. The team at Wagner Ford put my mind at ease and made this the simplest car buying process I have ever experienced.
Clay picked me up bright and early from the train station and opened the dealership before their official business hours. Additionally, John the business manager came in early to finalize the remaining paperwork that needed to be signed in person. I was out the door with my new truck much quicker than I was anticipating.

Very disappointing that just 2 months ago I bought my first family car. I was told it was a reliable and very kept up Honda Odyssey. Granted it is used and High mileage- bought knowing this. But first week I brought it home it was leaking fluid come to find out the whole transmission is cracked. So here’s to another 5,000 or more on what was suppose to replace the car I already had transmission problems with. They “fixed” some other stuff and that was told to me but seemed to have “missed” while under the car the apparent damage to the transmission. 2 payments in and regretting my choice to buy with this buisness.

I was going to trade my pickup in for another one but because I had the engine rebuild by another dealership even though I got the paperwork they refused the trade in. Pickup speedometer is 262,000 but the engine only has 70,000 and is in excellent condition. I will never step on their property and will never recommend them to anyone. Their reputation stands true and it's definitely not a good one.

I would like to recommend to those reading this review, that, when you need service on your vehicle, Wagner Ford in McCook, Nebraska, is where you want to go.
I have found over the many years in dealing with Wagner Ford, they are honest in what they tell me about my vehicle and will get the job done right the first time in my experiences with my vehicle.
They also have a nice selection of vehicles to choose from when looking for a new are used vehicle.

I didn't have to click my heels three times, but I sure had a magical experience getting my latest car from Wagner! I grew up in McCook, leaving 35ish years ago after graduation... Haven't had much opportunity to go back and visit in those years, until my wife found exactly the car we were searching for sitting on their lot. A few phone calls and texts with Clay had us gathering our things and heading the 4.5 hours from Longmont, back to SW Nebraska a couple of days later. Easiest dealer transaction I've ever had in my life! No pressure, no up-sell, just honest folks that stand by their word. So glad McCook isn't a Subaru town - we love our Forester!

AMAZING experience! We drove in from Denver and did most of the sale over the phone with Clay. We LOVE our new F150 Lightning Plantinum but the experience at Wagner made it that much more special. Everyone is so kind with great humor. We loved their small town dedication. We felt like we were working with friends instead the big city dealer who tries to upsell everything. I had a scheduled Oil change and a few other vehicle checks for my 2011, F-150. The Staff completed the work within one hour. They were prompt and professional with everyone.

The best car buying experience I ever had and it was entirely over the phone because I lived almost 2,000 miles away in Miami, Florida! When you visit Wagner, make sure you ask for Clay! He is the most attentive and thoughtful salesman to ever do the job. He made sure from start to finish that my dream Mustang GT was taken care of from the moment I called to inquire to the day it was picked up by the shipping truck. So after owning this vehicle for a year now, here has been my experience...Within the first month or so I had to change the the power steering pump. NOT EVEN 2 weeks later, I had to change the power steering pump yet again!! $641 each time to replace the power steering pumps!! AND NOW my rack & pinion need replaced!! I've been quoted $1,000+ to have it fixed!! I'm terrified to drive my "family car" anywhere out of town because there's always sensors going off, the cruise control RARELY works especially when multiple sensors are going off. I am seriously regretting buying this car. I truly wish I'd done more research on this type of vehicle before purchasing it & being stuck paying for all of these major issues & still paying it off!!

The sales and finance team at Wagner Ford is top notch. I presented my budget and what I needed in my next vehicle as I travel frequently for work. They showed me the options that met my needs and budget and took exceptional care of me throughout the entire process from walking into the door to handing me the keys to my new vehicle.

Wagner Ford-Toyota is amazing to say the least! I wanted out of my car and the high payments, they worked on this for me for almost a week trying to find me something that would lower my payments and take my negative equity. It wasn’t an easy task I know, but they were persistent and did it!! Not only did they get me into SOMETHING, but they got me into the vehicle that I really truly wanted. I’ve never been so pleased and comfortable buying a vehicle. They aren’t your typical pushy car dealership, they truly care about YOU and your wants/needs. I highly recommend Wagners and will always go there from now on!

I purchased a 2016 Ford pickup working with Will Engel. He was very knowledgeable with this vehicle. He answered all my questions in a professional manner and pursued the couple of issues that presented themselves until they were taken care of. I will purchase another vehicle through Wagner Ford using Will as the sales person.

Was a quick easy buy for me, the salesman was extremely patient with my work schedule and me being out of town all week and assured me that the 2005 F250 powerstroke I bought had a new egr and oil cooler system in it that had a warranty from ford, so I pulled the trigger and signed papers on it. Fast forward to 14,000 miles later and now it's in the shop in mccook with a $5,000.00 dollar repair bill because the cooling system plugged with God knows what which caused significant overheating on coolant and oil. Parts replaced so far are the fan clutch,radiator, egr system and oil cooler system that I know of and they still can't tell me if that was the main cause of my problems and that it will be fixed after that. After speaking with them the EGR system and oil cooler was not under warranty whatsoever and was going to have to be replaced on my dime. Feeling pretty sick to my stomach since 5,000.00 is a far cry from the previous 2200.00 dollar estimate I recieved 2 days prior. No explanation of why it would jump that high and said they couldn't use parts that I buy through napa with my employee discount, that they could only replace defective or broken parts with ford parts. Crazy I spent $15,500 4 months ago and now I'm going to have to spend another $5,000+ with no guarentee that the parts replaced will resolve the problems it currently has, they just want to keep throwing parts at it hoping that it'll get fixed. This experience ruined any chance of me being a repeat customer on buying a used vehicle or having any repairs done there. Once it's fixed I will not be a customer again unless it's to buy a brand new vehicle with extended warranty.

I normally don't like dealing with car dealerships, but our experience was outstanding with Wagner. We found the car we liked online and the price listed was the actual out the door price! The only extra fee was roughly $17 required by the state. No extensive extra fees like all the larger dealerships. They also had us out the door in 45 minutes at the time of sale! Thanks guys
