I replaced 40 windows , front door, and back door with Virginia Exteriors. Owner, Eddie Hane, was very professional and easy to work with and the crew was fantastic. There was a delay from original estimate, but that was due to delay with the manufacturers (pandemic related). I would definitely recommend VA Exteriors to my friends/family, neighbors, and others.

I contacted Virginia Exteriors because I had a leak in my roof that I needed to get repaired. 2 guys came to my house, assessed my roof and let me know what the issue was. Right then and there they called the boss(Eddie) and told him what the problem was and the guys said Eddie would call me back with a quote. That was 3 weeks ago. I have left a few voicemails and sent a few emails with no reply at all. I still have not heard back. I think that is a bad way to do business. If you are too busy or just don't want to do it, a simple response would do. Other companies that I contacted let me know this. Simple courtesy.

I gave 2 stars because the guys that came to my house originally were really nice and let me know the issue. If it wasn't for them I would have given 1 star.

I used VE several years ago to replace over 30 windows, and 2 skylights in my home in Reston. After getting quotes from over 10 other contractors, I chose VE because of their professionalism, quality of product, competitive pricing, and excellent installation. I had quotes from Anderson, Thompson Creek, Home Depot, Window World, and others with comparable product lines. Their crew was professional, very clean, and did an exceptional job.

Virginia Exteriors did an amazing job installing 43 windows, a custom sliding door, and a storm door. Eddie did not push his sale, like a few of the others tried to do; he was honest and up-front with details on how the process works and what to expect. VE’s pricing was very competitive and somewhat lower that other companies we had quotes from (we have some funky sizes and took 8 quotes from companies like WW, WN, WM, big-box, and TC). The installers spent two full days (from 0800-1800) ensuring the install was perfect. They did not rush as they are not paid per window (like the other “value brands”). Eddie’s crew is directly employed and not subs…so I’d bet they care a bit more than other crews. The vinyl capping is absolutely perfect, with mitered corners (they don’t do it the easy way)!
If you’re looking for windows, give Eddie and Virginia Exteriors a shot…I plan on using them for a few other jobs; and knowing what I know now about the company and their quality of work, it’ll be a no-brainer to give them the work!
