First let me say how pleased I am with my condo…VC painted entire condo removed and replaced carpets removed ceramic kitchen and bathroom floors and replaced with LVP and completed the project in 2 1/2 weeks….they changed out bathroom vanities in both bathrooms, removed and replaced ceiling fans throughout the condo….Raheem the project supervisor was in contact with me from beginning to end giving suggestions and taking constructive criticism and fixing anything that I was concerned with….He went beyond the call of duty to help me feel at ease considering that I resided in a different state at the time all the work was being done….I never once met Raheem in person or seen the work being done….Talk about blind Faith…I am pleased…..Thank you Raheem for being there for me when I couldn’t!

This was an amazing service by Kevin it was very easy to speak with Kevin and show him what I needed done and he even offered to help more then what was needed, he showed that he wanted to make sure I had no problems after.

I have worked with Virginia Coast Contracting Services for years now and they are the best out here. Rick and Craig have always made sure we have had everything we need. Most recent they performed a whole house repipe. It was done in a timely matter and once finished everythimg was cleaned up and back to normal. Also Virginia Coast has very reasonable pricing. I highly recommend working with these contractors, I had an upstairs bathroom with leaks that was completely gutted, they turned it into a beautiful new bathroom quickly with a great budget. excellent service I called on Thursday they were ready to come out on Friday but we had already planned to take the kids out, however Monday afternoon my tech showed up on time and ready! He replaced both bathroom light fixtures was in and out in less than 45 mins! already calling back to get a quote on replacing my gutters

I found out about them through a realtor. If you're purchasing a property and need work done, this is a one stop shop for a variety of things to do on a home. I had gutters done recently and was impressed because the guy put gutters and downspouts on the whole house so quickly.

We hired Virginia Coast Contracting Services to replace my Moms roof. Top notch job. Roof looks great and they cleaned up very well. The worker were very polite.

I can not say enough great things about this company. We originally hired Va. Coast Contracting Services to remodel our kitchen. After seeing what a great job they did on the kitchen we then had them remodel our bathroom and install a new roof. I highly recommend for just about anything. Thank you guys for taking such good care of us. We will be in touch for the floors next year.

They are doing work 2 houses down from me and have debris and trash flying 5 houses over. Debris hitting cars, getting stuck in gutters, getting stuck on other people’s roofs. Whoever I called to complain was extremely unprofessional. If you can’t do a job right don’t do it. If you knew it was going to be windy today you should have l rescheduled. Seeing how they treat everyone around them I can only imagine how poorly they are installing that roof. As you can see from the response the “owner” of the company left they are “super professional”. And again I have trash in my yard today. Unfortunately I’m not surprised.

It was a year ago today that we closed on our house. Rick and his team took the next .6 weeks to help renovate it into our dream home!!! We thank you and your team, Sally and Steve

Referred to virginia coast by my realtor. Hired them for new roof, tightened up my ductwork remodel bathroom with tile and my kitchen with new cabinets and counter and fixed my structural issues from termite damage fixed all my sunken floors upgraded all the lights and fans and painted top to bottom Inside and out. This contractor was hired to do work on the home that I purchased. After moving in, I noticed quite a few things that were supposedly worked on, were not done. I attempted to contact Virginia Coast multiple times, through phone as well as through their web page and was never able to contact anyone. Their phone rings and then it says the voice mail is full. Very unprofessional.

I am the owner of a townhouse that was left in a disaster when a tenant moved out. I called 3 contractors and was most impressed with the professionalism of Rick and Craig as they guided me thru process of what it would take to renovate the property so I chose Va Coast Contracting Services. I then met Charlie and Nancy who hands on did a lot of the work and they were really patience explaining what steps they were taking to bring the property back to habitable condition. In the end, this townhome looks like a model home with every attention given to detail. This home is now going on the market for more than I expected! I really want to give a big shout out to Salul, Melissa, and Will who came out to my home and did an excellent job. Salul and Melissa did a great job painting my exterior of the front of my home and remodeling my downstairs bathroom. It looks so good, and we finally have our bathroom back. Will thanks for coming over to fix the flooring in the bathroom. You were very professional and did a great job. Raheem thank you for always keeping me posted on what was going on and when everyone was showing up. You kept me calm and it was definitely a great experience. And one last thing, Rick give Salul and Melissa a raise, lol.

Since this owner claims he does not know me, maybe a few information will juggle his memory. A few months ago, our home purchase process has been smooth sailing until we got to the repairs part. It was part of our contract to have a few items done and our realtor spoke highly about Rick's services so we went ahead and chose him since we were moving into the area and didn't know anybody.

He was frustrating to deal with that even our realtor said she'll never use him again. Purchasing a home is very sensitive to time especially with the volatile market and we were worried about our rates not being locked because he couldn't finish the repairs on time. We had to ask the sellers for an extension. We think he probably overbooked himself since it took him multiple days in between to respond to our inquiries. He was even asked if he would be able to do the job on time and he said he said yes. On hindsight, we should have went with another company.

Now, the best part, they left a mess in our new home. It was too much that when I walked in the first time to our new home, i basically wept. Our realtor asked them to haul away their thrash or we won't be paying. What we should have done is grabbed an inspector again to see the repairs done. We got foundation specialists to look at our crawl space and they basically said that the repair he did was USELESS. He was supposed to level our home. Guess what? Almost $10000 down the drain with nothing to show for it. They placed the "repairs", cinder block things where there it wasn't sagging and now we have to do the process all over again and pay someone who actually knows what they were doing anothe $10k. Took a week just to get an estimate.

Look, he bit off more than he can chew and should have just let someone else do the job instead of making us go through that roller coaster.

Rick and his team have always been there for us when we've needed major repairs that could not be completed on our own. He and his teams are responsive when we call and keep open communication during the projects. We have enlisted their services for plumbing leaks, a vinyl siding project, replacing carpet, and most recently a major roofing issue. They respond quickly when needed and provide quality service.

Rick and his team are fantastic to work with! They are professional and finish strong. They do a great job!

Rick Dosier is a class act. If you have dealt with contractors in the past you may have had a bad experience. Delays, work performed, etc. Not with Rick. When Rick came out the first evening that we met he walked through the house with us and provided a quote the very next day of the work that I needed done. We talked about a two week timeframe and it hit the mark right on time. Anything that I needed done additionally or any touchup that needed to be performed he had his men right back out and completed promptly. Which by the way was very minimal as they did it right the first time. If you need someone to do professional work on the inside or outside of your house don’t hesitate to call Rick. He will get it done. By the way I’d like to add that the workers that came out to do the work were very polite they always ask is there anything else we can do for you.

Rick is awesome!! So is his crew, they work with me and my budget and overall i am grateful and happy. The job did take longer than expected but it was due to unforeseen situations in the end Rick came through with a great discount for the inconvenience, he remain professional and friendly, as well as his crew they have no issues answering any of your concerns and questions.

We hired Virgina Coast Contracting Services to remodel our bathroom, kitchen and to paint the outside of our home. We can not say enough great things about this company. They did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend to anyone.

To say That I have not seen first hand the lack of workmanship is abismal. Small Businesses are not suffering because of the pandemic they are suffering because instead of treating the FEW clients they have as gold they insuit their intelligence by providing a sloppy, unprofessional and horrible craftmanship "job" of it can be called that,then try to bully their way out of their responsibility...

A one stop shop.. very effective ,,Rick has the best assortment of tradesmen,,,ran into a few unforseen issues and this team ran head first at each issue,,I was collectively impressed with the results....these guys stand together, and behind the work they do....I'm definitely a customer for life!!

I can not say enough good things about the service and quality of the work received by Virginia Coast Contracting. I had my siding done, painting and electrical. I will be back for my roof in the next year. I highly recommend.

Today, I learned that this business is NOT EVEN LICENSED in Virginia. Despite they sell themselves as an LLC business.

Hiring this "company" has been the most expensive mistake so far.
These people disrespected my house, my time, and my money.

A painting job where I end up with broken, missing items, and paint on all my hardwood floors, damaged light fixtures.
They don't supervise their workers and the quality of the job they are doing.
This company is so shameless that they sold me a cleaning service they did the job, charged it, and 24 hrs after the house had mudd stain inside. This was almost 4 weeks before they actually left my property.
I had to stay a week in a hotel after my move in date because the house was in such conditions one could not live in.

And every time they agreed to fix what they did wrong or damaged,the outcome was  either an incomplete task or something else happened.
This was a traumatic experience I wish to nobody.
The last day they were here fixing my front door, the worker said it needed to be painted again. In 1 hr, they called me telling me they sent the invoice since they were done.

If you have some expectations and / or expect at least standard quality, look elsewhere.

Fantastic group of people to work with for all of your renovation needs. I personally met with Rick (Very professional and personable, who understood exactly what was being asked to create). Then there was Noah, Rich, and Dennis, who actually completed the work....also very professional, meticulous with details, communication was flawless between everyone, and the job area stayed fairly clean, which was impressive in and of itself!! Can't go wrong with Coastal Construction....

I highly recommend Virginia Coast Contracting Services for roofing. I received an estimate within a day along with samples of shingle options. I was able to get an appointments scheduled within a week of confirmation of work and price. The job was completed quickly while also taking into consideration quality. I would use them for additional work beyond roof replacement.

We’re selling our home and had to have some minor repairs corrected. They replaced gutter screws, reattached loose siding, replaced two gfci outlets, replaced plumbing where a reverse osmosis system used to be installed and replaced metal shielding around the garage door. Specialized contractors are sent for the jobs they’re qualified for. The technicians were prompt and very professional. Pricing came in hundreds less than competitors. I recommend this company and would use again if we were in the area!

I had a new roof installed on my home. They completed the roof to include stripping old shingles and underpayment, replaced bad sheathing areas, new underpayment, and shingles in one day. They were meticulous with the clean-up ensuring there was no trash or nails left behind around the house. I highly recommend them to anyone and will absolutely use them for any future repairs.

They repaired some damage under my home due to leaky kitchen pipes. Jonathan and Cameron did a FANTASTIC job! They were very professional, polite and hard working perfectionist! They stayed until the job was done and they did a great job, above and beyond. They even took pictures of the work and sent them to me. Larry was our electrician and removed four ceiling light fixtures as well as wired and replaced four more. Larry was extremely personable and matched his personality with an efficient, neat and qualified work ethic.
