First Atlantic is amazing! The sprinklers in my apartment building went off during a fire alarm which led to water damage in multiple units. Luis and the rest of the team have been working nonstop to restore the building. They are so kind, professional and respectful. Ken arrived on Friday, July 18th to rebuild the subfloor for my Aunt’s home. That gentleman worked his buns off in the heat, measuring and cutting plywood all by himself! 5000 STARS!!!! First Atlantic Restoration surpassed any of my expectations!!! I unfortunately had a kitchen fire which caused my home to be uninhabitable for several months. My first interaction with First Atlantic was the day after the fire, a representative (my apologies for not remembering the gentleman’s name) was in the neighborhood passing as my fiancé and I attempted to gather salvageable items from our home . He offered to board up my exposed kitchen window and reassured my family we would be ok despite how things may appear today. He gave us his business card , his blessing and wished us well. That interaction lead me to the BEST restoration team I could pray for. During the process of having my home repaired my First Atlantic team was Cierra, Neah, Mack and Garret . They treated me like family and treated my home as if it was their own. They were available around the clock for any questions or concerns I may have had. Responded to my emails and phone calls literally with in minutes. I know they have several families they assist daily but they made me feel like I was their only client. The team at First Atlantic Restoration is simply amazing. They started work on my home last week and I was impressed from the start. Brian, John, Sean, Carlos and the rest of the on-site team worked in the extreme heat last week to tackle the mold mitigation process. They were professional, friendly and explained everything to me. Brian asked each day if I had any questions and told me what the plan was for next day. John handled the "heavy lifting" and Sean was the detail and clean up man. I know there is still more work to be done, but I am confident the "rebuild team" will provide the same outstanding customer service and care.

First Atlantic restoration is tricky they’re tricky. They maneuveryou out of your good flooring to bad flooring in a second watch out for them and their work is bad! I’m still dealing with messed up work they did when they came into my house.

I needed the crawlspace of my home cleaned and restored in order to complete an HVAC ducting replacement. Even though it was a relatively small job, First Atlantic Restoration took it and made me feel like I was their most important client. They were very quick, their work was excellent, and their customer service was stellar. We had a huge water damage issue that included mold, so walls were taken to the studs, parts of the floors were pulled up and First Atlantic made the whole experience less stressful with their kindness, willing to listen, patience and willing to work with us and our insurance company. First Atlantic Restoration did an outstanding job on both my house and my neighbor’s house. I had a water heater that had been leaking for a few days, which caused major water damage to both homes. They showed up on a Sunday and quickly removed everything that was damaged by the water.

I had to leave for a few weeks, but they always kept me informed whenever someone was scheduled to do work at my place. They also took great care of my neighbor’s house. I want to especially thank the team: Andrew (Project Manager), Austin (Assistant Manager), AL, Cody, and Jeff H. (Carpenters), and Lynsey (Coordinator). Everyone was professional, respectful, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process.

If there were a six star option, First Atlantic Restoration, has earned it. We had water damage in our upstairs bathroom and decided to renovate rather than put back. My project manager Grayson Browning could teach a class on communication. Grayson made sure I was aware of the timeline and finished the job within the allotted parameters. Jeff’s attention to detail and quality of work made the demolition, tile work, and completion of the bathroom seamless. Heather Wilson filled in all the gaps as far as scheduling and contracts were concerned. Home repairs can be disruptive, but when you have a trustworthy team in Grayson, Jeff and Heather it makes life much easier.

First Atlantic Restoration did a fantastic job remodeling a master closet for me. Linh was very responsive to any correspondence, Jasper was excellent at providing estimates and spotting potential problems. Delores and Sammy came in set up so much protection for the surrounding area and demolished the old moldy drywall bowed wood flooring. They completely cleaned up afterwards. I couldn’t believe how fast they worked. Cindi was the main carpenter and laid the porcelain tile. She is such a pro and did everything to perfection! Antonio was her assistant and was ready to do everything needed at all times. Jasper came in to finish the last of it because Cindi was needed on a new job. He called Gino ( who was on vacation ) to assist him. Gino came without hesitation. All were so professional and just a joy to be around. They were the nicest people. I felt safe and completely taken care of.

This team was very attentive and kind to us. They were empathic about our loss and recreated our home after a horrible fire. Even after the completion they are still there for you to fix any repairs found and follow through with staying on top of the repairs needed. Gary, Danny, Brian, and Mark are not ones to just forget about you after the job is done! I am grateful to have chosen this team to be on my side through this very long and hard time in our lives. First Atlantic did a fantastic job with our kitchen restoration! But, more importantly… we had a complicated situation with insurance and they advocated for us through it all. Brian D, our PM, Brian who handled the mitigation phase, Alex our carpenter — meticulous, neat, and made our cabinets look better than before. Very detailed oriented and pleasant. Our assistant PM, Mark was a great support as well!

First Atlantic Resto. came out after a bathroon leak in my ceiling. After speaking to my insurance agent, Carlos was at my door within a couple hours. FAR doesn't not mess around. They got in, identified the issue, rectified the situation and left remediation tools. The work they performed was top notch. Quick, efficient, and CLEAN.

The project was lead by Mr. Carlos Hussain who is extremely professional, friendly, highly knowledgeable, precise, and very efficient.

Carlos and his team of professionals are remarkable at what they do. I will from here on out recommend FAR to anyone needing their myriad of services.

Our relationship with FAR lasted 8 months, so we had quite the roller coaster of an experience. They were recommended by our insurance adjuster as being one of the best in the area. A pipe connected to our dishwasher burst 2 days before Christmas in 2023 and FAR started the job on 1/6/24. Because we were already planning to do a remodel, this was an initiation to that project and so we made a decision to do the entire kitchen. We were planning to knock out a wall and needed a permit to do so, so this added about 3-4 months to the project. We ultimately did not go in that direction due to cost, so there were several iterations on our remodel, which is why the restoration lasted 8 months.

The team who showed up to do the initial mitigation was efficient and got that work done quickly.

While most First Atlantic employees are friendly and pleasant to work with, we didn't find that our project manager was a good communicator and that resulted in mistakes being made (like the wrong window being ordered for our kitchen sink). Most of his communication took place via text which we found to be inefficient, thus resulting in lots of miscommunication. On the flip side, there were times that he ensured our satisfaction was met and wanted to make sure we were happy customers. The Admin team was mostly good to work with, though missed details when we sent along selections for things like paint color and flooring (I sent an email in April with our selections and the person handling those details asked me for them again in May).

Some of the contractors hired (like the painters) seemed also just cheap hired labor. They were at our house a total of 3 times for the same exact thing; making sure the imperfections in the paint were smoothed. Those mistakes were not corrected and while FAR offered to have them come back, at that point (July) we were quite fed up with the quality of the work and decided to just leave it as is. So, we were pleased that FAR didn't want to rest until the job was done, but also equally disappointed that the end result was just bumps in the wall that we will have to fix ourselves.

I think the personalities of the people that work here are great, we just wished that quality had been more up to par.

Very professional and arrived promptly. Carlos and his team did a great job of remediating all of the water damage. Kept me abreast of everything they found.

I cannot recommend First Atlantic Restoration highly enough. From start to finish, this company exceeded every expectation I had — and trust me, those expectations were incredibly high! Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for the project and my family’s home were truly unparalleled.

He ensured that every single aspect of the job was done correctly, efficiently, and to the highest standard. His leadership and expertise brought everything together seamlessly. His commitment to quality and excellence shone through in everything he did. It's rare to find someone so personally invested in making sure every tiny detail is flawless, and Mark certainly delivered.

Then there’s Alex, the carpenter, whose work ethic was beyond superb. Every task he took on was completed with precision and care. His focus and dedication to making sure everything was smooth, up to par, and visually stunning were truly impressive. The craftsmanship and finish of his work speak volumes about his skills. You can tell that Alex is passionate about what he does, and the results were a reflection of that passion.

Lastly, I must give special thanks to Danni, our primary contact for all things financial. She was amazing — professional, organized, and always available to clarify any questions or concerns we had. Danni made the financial side of things feel easy and stress-free. Every document was prepared perfectly, and she walked us through the process with such ease. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor made us feel confident every step of the way. If there was ever a question, Danni was there with a quick and clear answer, ensuring we were always in the know.

In short, First Atlantic Restoration is a company I would recommend without hesitation to anyone needing home restoration or improvements. They surprised me in the best way by exceeding my expectations in every possible area. If I could give them more than five stars, I would! I got a chance to actually sit with Alex the carpenter and we chatted a little while he was finishing up a few last minute touch ups that needed to be done . He had great humor and was working swiftly to complete the task. They took the time to understand my vision after such a devastating loss and provided valuable suggestions that improved the design. Very thankful for Zach from First Atlantic for getting the ball rolling with our home owners insurance claim, after other contractor’s estimates had been denied for not being detailed enough. First Atlantic handled everything with our insurance and were able to get a check in our hand and on their schedule to begin work as soon as we were ready. Lynsey was very polite and pleasant to work with on all the paperwork aspects. Giving 4 stars overall because of some rework that pushed the project timeline out, but we appreciate Austin, Maurilio, and Cody’s dedication to getting the job done right and we are loving our new shower.

Small fires can do a lot of damage. Atlantic Restoration made this process seamless and easy. Austin was honest, forthcoming, extremely thorough and responsive. I was at this house today to let the workers in who were doing other updates to the house. While there I watched as Cody Stotler and Alex Camona were building a fence and gate that was damaged by a fire. They actually put in each board and cut and shaped it manually. They even built the gate to fit. Nothing came out of a box. When they finished I asked if they could help me determine why the kitchen outlets were not working as I needed to charge my cell phone. They quickly determine that it was a simple fix by checking the fuse box. When workers are willing to go the second mile, I take notice and take time to give them a good review.
