First Atlantic is amazing! The sprinklers in my apartment building went off during a fire alarm which led to water damage in multiple units. Luis and the rest of the team have been working nonstop to restore the building. They are so kind, professional and respectful. Ken arrived on Friday, July 18th to rebuild the subfloor for my Aunt’s home. That gentleman worked his buns off in the heat, measuring and cutting plywood all by himself! 5000 STARS!!!! First Atlantic Restoration surpassed any of my expectations!!! I unfortunately had a kitchen fire which caused my home to be uninhabitable for several months. My first interaction with First Atlantic was the day after the fire, a representative (my apologies for not remembering the gentleman’s name) was in the neighborhood passing as my fiancé and I attempted to gather salvageable items from our home . He offered to board up my exposed kitchen window and reassured my family we would be ok despite how things may appear today. He gave us his business card , his blessing and wished us well. That interaction lead me to the BEST restoration team I could pray for. During the process of having my home repaired my First Atlantic team was Cierra, Neah, Mack and Garret . They treated me like family and treated my home as if it was their own. They were available around the clock for any questions or concerns I may have had. The team at First Atlantic Restoration is simply amazing. They started work on my home last week and I was impressed from the start. Brian, John, Sean, Carlos and the rest of the on-site team worked in the extreme heat last week to tackle the mold mitigation process. They were professional, friendly and explained everything to me. Brian asked each day if I had any questions and told me what the plan was for next day. John handled the "heavy lifting" and Sean was the detail and clean up man. I know there is still more work to be done, but I am confident the "rebuild team" will provide the same outstanding customer service and care.

I needed the crawlspace of my home cleaned and restored in order to complete an HVAC ducting replacement. Even though it was a relatively small job, First Atlantic Restoration took it and made me feel like I was their most important client. We had a huge water damage issue that included mold, so walls were taken to the studs, parts of the floors were pulled up and First Atlantic made the whole experience less stressful with their kindness, willing to listen, patience and willing to work with us and our insurance company. First Atlantic Restoration did an outstanding job on both my house and my neighbor’s house. I had a water heater that had been leaking for a few days, which caused major water damage to both homes. They showed up on a Sunday and quickly removed everything that was damaged by the water.

I had to leave for a few weeks, but they always kept me informed whenever someone was scheduled to do work at my place. They also took great care of my neighbor’s house. I want to especially thank the team: Andrew (Project Manager), Austin (Assistant Manager), AL, Cody, and Jeff H. (Carpenters), and Lynsey (Coordinator). If there were a six star option, First Atlantic Restoration, has earned it. We had water damage in our upstairs bathroom and decided to renovate rather than put back. My project manager Grayson Browning could teach a class on communication. Grayson made sure I was aware of the timeline and finished the job within the allotted parameters. Jeff’s attention to detail and quality of work made the demolition, tile work, and completion of the bathroom seamless. Heather Wilson filled in all the gaps as far as scheduling and contracts were concerned. Home repairs can be disruptive, but when you have a trustworthy team in Grayson, Jeff and Heather it makes life much easier.

First Atlantic Restoration did a fantastic job remodeling a master closet for me. Linh was very responsive to any correspondence, Jasper was excellent at providing estimates and spotting potential problems. Delores and Sammy came in set up so much protection for the surrounding area and demolished the old moldy drywall bowed wood flooring. They completely cleaned up afterwards. I couldn’t believe how fast they worked. Cindi was the main carpenter and laid the porcelain tile. She is such a pro and did everything to perfection! Antonio was her assistant and was ready to do everything needed at all times. Jasper came in to finish the last of it because Cindi was needed on a new job. He called Gino ( who was on vacation ) to assist him. Gino came without hesitation. All were so professional and just a joy to be around. They were the nicest people. I felt safe and completely taken care of.

This team was very attentive and kind to us. They were empathic about our loss and recreated our home after a horrible fire. Even after the completion they are still there for you to fix any repairs found and follow through with staying on top of the repairs needed. Brian D, our PM, Brian who handled the mitigation phase, Alex our carpenter — meticulous, neat, and made our cabinets look better than before. Very detailed oriented and pleasant. First Atlantic Resto. came out after a bathroon leak in my ceiling. After speaking to my insurance agent, Carlos was at my door within a couple hours. FAR doesn't not mess around. They got in, identified the issue, rectified the situation and left remediation tools. The work they performed was top notch. Quick, efficient, and CLEAN.

The project was lead by Mr. Carlos Hussain who is extremely professional, friendly, highly knowledgeable, precise, and very efficient.

Carlos and his team of professionals are remarkable at what they do. I will from here on out recommend FAR to anyone needing their myriad of services.

Our relationship with FAR lasted 8 months, so we had quite the roller coaster of an experience. They were recommended by our insurance adjuster as being one of the best in the area. A pipe connected to our dishwasher burst 2 days before Christmas in 2023 and FAR started the job on 1/6/24. Because we were already planning to do a remodel, this was an initiation to that project and so we made a decision to do the entire kitchen. We were planning to knock out a wall and needed a permit to do so, so this added about 3-4 months to the project. We ultimately did not go in that direction due to cost, so there were several iterations on our remodel, which is why the restoration lasted 8 months.

The team who showed up to do the initial mitigation was efficient and got that work done quickly.

While most First Atlantic employees are friendly and pleasant to work with, we didn't find that our project manager was a good communicator and that resulted in mistakes being made (like the wrong window being ordered for our kitchen sink). Most of his communication took place via text which we found to be inefficient, thus resulting in lots of miscommunication. On the flip side, there were times that he ensured our satisfaction was met and wanted to make sure we were happy customers. The Admin team was mostly good to work with, though missed details when we sent along selections for things like paint color and flooring (I sent an email in April with our selections and the person handling those details asked me for them again in May).

Some of the contractors hired (like the painters) seemed also just cheap hired labor. They were at our house a total of 3 times for the same exact thing; making sure the imperfections in the paint were smoothed. Those mistakes were not corrected and while FAR offered to have them come back, at that point (July) we were quite fed up with the quality of the work and decided to just leave it as is. So, we were pleased that FAR didn't want to rest until the job was done, but also equally disappointed that the end result was just bumps in the wall that we will have to fix ourselves.

I think the personalities of the people that work here are great, we just wished that quality had been more up to par.

Very professional and arrived promptly. Carlos and his team did a great job of remediating all of the water damage. Kept me abreast of everything they found.

I cannot recommend First Atlantic Restoration highly enough. From start to finish, this company exceeded every expectation I had — and trust me, those expectations were incredibly high! Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for the project and my family’s home were truly unparalleled.

Then there’s Alex, the carpenter, whose work ethic was beyond superb. Every task he took on was completed with precision and care. His focus and dedication to making sure everything was smooth, up to par, and visually stunning were truly impressive. The craftsmanship and finish of his work speak volumes about his skills. You can tell that Alex is passionate about what he does, and the results were a reflection of that passion.

Lastly, I must give special thanks to Danni, our primary contact for all things financial. She was amazing — professional, organized, and always available to clarify any questions or concerns we had. Danni made the financial side of things feel easy and stress-free. Every document was prepared perfectly, and she walked us through the process with such ease. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor made us feel confident every step of the way. If there was ever a question, Danni was there with a quick and clear answer, ensuring we were always in the know.

In short, First Atlantic Restoration is a company I would recommend without hesitation to anyone needing home restoration or improvements. They surprised me in the best way by exceeding my expectations in every possible area. If I could give them more than five stars, I would! Very thankful for Zach from First Atlantic for getting the ball rolling with our home owners insurance claim, after other contractor’s estimates had been denied for not being detailed enough. First Atlantic handled everything with our insurance and were able to get a check in our hand and on their schedule to begin work as soon as we were ready. I was at this house today to let the workers in who were doing other updates to the house. While there I watched as Cody Stotler and Alex Camona were building a fence and gate that was damaged by a fire. They actually put in each board and cut and shaped it manually. They even built the gate to fit. Nothing came out of a box. When they finished I asked if they could help me determine why the kitchen outlets were not working as I needed to charge my cell phone. They quickly determine that it was a simple fix by checking the fuse box. When workers are willing to go the second mile, I take notice and take time to give them a good review.

First Atlantic is fantastic, I highly recommend. I had a roof leak that turned into pretty extensive damage. The initial restoration team was fantastic, they were able to source the leak within a few hours. My condo association had sent multiple contractors out who could never find the leak. Once it was time for repairs, both Austin (project manager) and Lynsey (project coordinator) were fantastic. These are 2 professionals who know what they are doing. Living in a condo, I unfortunately had several hurdles to jump through and it took several months before First Atlantic could start the repairs. They were nothing but patient and professional, and helpful the entire time. I hope to never have to deal with something like this again; however, if I do, I will call First Atlantic without hesitation. Fantastic job all around.

First Atlantic does “work” for The Breeden Company, Inc who built, owns and manages Aqua on 25th Street Apartments. Aqua is full of BLACK TOXIC MOLD, as reported on Wavy 10 News. This company has been their preferred vendor on their properties for a reason…run.

Update...More residents have moved out and more are being moved in, all while First Atlantic does their "work". No residents have been informed of the dangers while this company is setting up air scrubbers in apartments with active leaks and people living in them. The carpet was literally eaten away by black toxic mold (confirmed report) and this company puts fans on it!

Is it possible to put people over profit? Pets over profit? We have educators, veterans, children and animals, who are twice as susceptible to the effects of black toxic mold, all being knowingly poisoned due to complete greed!

If you can't be part of the solution, stop being part of the problem!

Brian, Eddie, Jacob, Tyler, Callie, and Clarissa did a great job of mitigating damage due to a water leak in our kitchen. They acted quickly to clean up water, remove damaged pieces and gave us peace of mind throughout the process.

First Atlantic Restoration came in within 24 hrs of calling with an emergency situation in my home and got to work fixing my issue. Had my AC unit leak thru and cause ceiling dry wall to fail and fall. They came in and got right to work with assessment, mitigation and superb containment. Roland, Leif, Pete and Ricky were all very knowledgeable, worked extremely diligently, and ensured maximum cleanliness of the space during work. They answered every question I had before, and during the process of the work and ensured things were set up with my family's health and safety in mind. I would highly reccomend First Atlantic Restoration and Roland, Leif, Pete, and Ricky for any restoration work you may need in your home or business.

We had a hot water heater and a water line let go in the attic. Ricky and Andrew managed the project fantastically. Brian and Eddie handled the remediation quickly and effectively. Kristy and Caleigh always called and let me know what was going on, and promptly returned call. Communication from all people was clear, as promised and on time.

My water heater burst and Austin and his team were very professional and efficient in getting my house back into a safe condition. A few months later a leaky toilet caused some water damage and again Austin was able to get my house back in order. Theses guys are great 10/ 10 would recommend

It's was refreshing to see a competent team led by Andrew Henderson & Zac Hardison. They were professional, gave quality information and prompt in their response time. I'd definitely reach out to them again if I needed to. In 25 years of real estate I was impressed at how they do business.

We had a huge plumbing issue occur when some very old pipes lost the battle with some roots from a very old tree. First Atlantic was the company our homeowner's insurance sent out to do all the repairs, and they were fantastic! They made the process efficient with minimal stress. Grayson was amazing at communicating everything going on and what to expect, and organizing everything around my work schedule. Their team of workers (the flooring guys, the painters, etc) were all very professional and friendly. The quality of the work done (flooring, paint, etc.) was awesome and my husband and I felt it looked better than it did before the plumbing fiasco! Overall, would definitely recommend First Atlantic!

Kahlem and Carlos and team came out today to assist us after a water leak in our kitchen. They were prompt, on time, professional, and thoroughly checked everything to ensure our family's safety. Remediation services were completed and they carefully explained what all work was done as well as anything we needed to do after they left. I greatly appreciate the care and attention to detail they put in as well as their consideration for our home while working. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend First Atlantic Restoration. We discovered a leak which we later found out was leaking for some time. They came out quickly to access the problem and took action immediately. I work from home so it was important to be that the disruption wasn’t too bad where I would need to take time off from work. They were professional & courteous each day they came. A super positive experience. I met First Atlantic at a fundraising event where we were supporting the same non-profit (Moms on a Mission). They are great, active supporters of their community and do great work! After water damage from a dishwasher leaking caused some mushrooms to grow(yikes) they did an awesome job from remediation to repair. All done while navigating around a family of 5. A special shout out to Jon, Mike, Seth and Ken for of all their work.

They don’t deserve any stars! Their workmanship is the worst, don’t use them for anything! Ask your insurance for a different company. Nothing is measured or reconstructed correctly, we have gaps around every window and door, all of our trim looks like crap. They don’t sand anything so you’ll get splinters dusting, they don’t paint or stain the top or bottom of doors trim, etc. WORST RESTORATION COMPANY EVER! You’ll need to hire someone else to redo anything they did.
