This is a company which does exactly what they say they will do! I highly recommend this company for your roof replacement. I had my roof replaced on 10/25/24. Joey came out in September to provide no hassle estimate options. He was professional, customer focused, and personable, and answered all of my questions. Cristle, the office manager, followed up regularly, and was very responsive to all of my questions. Collin, the project manager for my job was professional, personable, and kept me abreast of any updates and concerns throughout the roof installation process. They did a great job and cleaned up the grounds and even checked my neighbor's yard to ensure there was no debris. This company is very customer focused. It was a good experience. Great job!

Roofing Systems of Hampton Roads just put a new roof on my house. It was a difficult job for many reasons - steep slopes, many angles, and the existing roof was very old and slippery. Collin and his crew did an outstanding job! They paid attention to the smallest details. They even replaced the old white, builder's grade vents with black ones to better match the roof color. My neighbors are completely envious.

Collin kept me informed every step of the way. When a decision had to be made, he gave me all the facts and laid out my options and the associated costs (if any) of each option. Which brings me to one other point. On such a large scale, demanding job I was expecting to get hit with several change orders as they encountered various unforeseen circumstances. In fact, there was only one, and for that issue I was given a possible solution that would not have required a change order.

Finally, they did a great job cleaning up when the job was finished.

Recently went with Roofing Systems to have our roof replaced. Out of about 6-7 quotes they were the only contractor I had come by that offered Certainteed (other brands weren't impact resistant) and RSHR were roughly 2nd or 3rd as far as pricing went. Most of the crew arrived by 7 AM and they were done with the roof by 4pm. Collin was my project manager for the roof replacement and was available throughout the whole process to answer any questions and to coordinate tear down, supply deliveries, and supervise clean up. We only needed an additional two deck boards so our initial quote was almost exactly the same as the final invoice so there were no surprises for us as far as cost went. They supplied all new hardware for most of the vents on the roof (HVAC was not included due to being tied into the furnace) and were all paint matched (even the old HVAC exhaust) to the roof. Exceptionally happy overall and am really looking forward to seeing how it holds up during storms. Thanks again and we'll be keeping RSHR at the top of our list for future home improvement projects!

Wow! Had this roof installed 6 years ago....never had an issue until this last huge rain storm on Sunday. I emailed them on Monday (week before Christmas) and they showed up the next day and fixed the roof! Awesome

Hampton Roads Roofing Systems did an amazing job wrapping our house and replacing our gutters. The work was done quickly once the contracts were signed and the pricing provided was the best out of the 3 quotes we were given. Joey and team were very professional and responsive. They communicated when they would be there and ensured to follow up when there was a weather delay. I highly suggest hiring them if you need any soffit, fascia or gutter work.

We worked with Joey. He came out and looked things over and came back with a quote that was significantly less than other “high end roof repair” companies. From the start Joey was extremely down to earth and all around awesome to work with. He answered all of our questions. Once we said let’s do it and started work, his team found a stretch of 40ft that was rotted and installed incorrectly (pictured). They reworked it and while it was an increase in the overall cost we were happy to pay it knowing they were doing it correctly. They took pictures and showed us step by step their process. If the repair wasn’t needed, they would have been done in 1 day!! They finished up the next morning and cleaned up. This was my first roofing job… and it went well. They started by giving me a quick appointment to get an estimate with a fair price and MANY options. I already had roof damage (a leak) and the patched that up for me the next day until my roof replacement was started, which was only about 3 weeks away. They showed up promptly the morning of (prior to scheduled time), had a project manager on-site the entire time, and ensure the addressed all my concerns and made sure I was satisfied throughout. The we’re completely done by 4:30 pm, including clean up! No issues whatsoever. Highly recommended! Looking forward to my gutter replacement job next week!

Fantastic customer service and communication. I had to reschedule a couple times due to work and family issues and they were flexible and easy to work with. Install was done promptly with good craftsmanship. Shortly after install, got over an inch of rain in a few hours. No leaks or any other issues. All my previously installed gutter guards worked great. Their cleanup afterward was very fast and thorough. I highly recommend them.

We received quotes from three roofing contractors. We chose Roofing Systems of Hampton Roads, they were not the lowest or the highest quote. We made our decision because of the owner Jeremy Carroll, who is a very knowledgeable and personable individual He did a thorough inspection along with detailed quotes. These were all key factors in making our decision. Not only did we receive good professional service from Jeremy, but the office manager Cristle was very helpful from scheduling to shingle choices. The site manager Ben and the installation crew showed up promptly between 7-7:30 a m each day, everything was done with the utmost respect and care for our property.

Had a new roof installed. They did an excellent job. Roof looks so nice. Ben, supervisor in charge, was great; took care of all my concerns with warped boards and rippling I could see in my old roof. The new roof is straight and level now after replacing 9 boards. I had gotten 4 estimates and they were the lowest one with thicker pro shingles and more steps with protection around the perimeter of my roof. They did such a professional job and cleaned up, just like they were never there. I highly recommend you call them when you need a new roof. I am so pleased; I can not emphasize that enough!

I gave them a call, I had an obvious roof leak because I had water stains on my ceiling. They came out and quickly identified where they believe the water was coming in and showred me pictures. Joey Answered my questions, was very kind, personable and reassuring. The work was performed a few weeks later and it all seems fine! backstory: we had solar panels installed Aug 2021. fast fwd to winter, i noticed a couple roof shingles fell along with some snow that accumulated on the roof. fast fwd to spring, i contacted RSHR if they could rule out missing shingles or if they were just leftover debris from the install. Joey contacted me and inspected my roof the following day. fortunately, the shingles were just debris, but he noted several cracked cap singles that needed replacement. he sent over a quote, and i contacted Cristle at the office to schedule the repair which was done the following week. i appreciate their quick communication via email and text (i can't talk on the phone when i'm working). they're so friendly and easy to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I chose Roofing Systems because of their strong ratings and excellent customer feedback. Count me among those who felt RS project manager Joey Gargaro and his crew did a superb job: in our case, it wasn't easy, given the condition of the part of the roof that was replaced. Joey listened, explained, and responded to all my questions and concerns. RS wasn't the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but provided terrific value for the work I and my wife needed done. After at least three downpours and a nor'easter, not a leak anywhere is to be found. I recommend them without reservation.

I had bids on the replacement of my roof from several companies. All of the bids were several thousand dollars higher than what I got from Jeremy, the owner of Roofing Systems. I was also impressed by how he came across and how personable he was. He told me that he only has one crew and does one job at a time so that all the companies resources are devoted to that one client for a day.

Originally the date of installation was going to be several weeks away, but they called and asked if I wanted to start in about a week. I was fine with that. On the day they showed up, I met Josh who is the on the ground supervisor, another very capable and friendly guy. He coordinated a crew of 7 roofers who draped all the sides of the house so that nothing would get damaged from debris and move all the patio furniture back from close to the house.

The job took all day, they stripped all the existing shingles off the roof and removed all the vents and patched the holes. They replaced them with ridge vents that look better and should work as well. They also rebuilt the cricket that diverts water near the chimney and removed an old satellite dish. They painted all the existing stack vents and replaced the collars with new.

The crew finished around 530, having started about 7am. The last hour had most of the crew cleaning and picking up any roof debris that didn't land in the tarps. I walked around afterward and only found one nail and a couple of pieces of tarpaper that they missed.

Looking back I am very satisfied with the quality of the work and the price of the job. I think the other companies overestimated the number of squares needed for the roof (Pyramid said 43, RSHR used 37) mostly to pad the bill which made their estimates several thousand more. RSHR also had to use a couple more sheets of sheathing for repair, but each sheet fixed several areas and they didn't overcharge for that.

I would recommend them to anybody looking for an honest contractor to replace a roof. They will be coming back to do my gutters as well.

We needed a roof inspection in order to purchase our home. It was time sensitive and we called so many different roofing companies. Roofing Systems of Hampton Roads was the only one that got back to us and they were very fairly priced. They inspected our roof that day! Contacted them for a leak in my roof. They had to come out a few times as the first time they fixed it, it was still leaking. I got a new roof installed in Nov 2014 by Roofing Systems of Hampton Roads. During a recent sleet storm in Jan 2021, the tenants noticed a small leak in the kitchen ceiling. Roofing Systems of Hampton Roads came out the next morning and fixed the leak. I also had them remove an old satellite dish from the roof when they were out there. I appreciate the prompt service and keep up the good work!
