Village Gardener

I heard that the Village Gardener has done some incredible work with there landscaping but didn't realize the other types of work they perform. I'm an out of town General Contractor and needed a large amount of snow removal completed in a couple days on a project we were bidding. They took on my on my tough request and completed the removal the next day. I just want to say they treated me as if I were a resident of Jackson and appreciate the hospitality.

The whole crew at The Village Gardener has been an absolute pleasure to work with! Not only have they helped us reach our landscaping goals, but they have gone out of their way for good service. I hate dandelions, and was so fed up with them that I fired my last landscape maintenance contractor and hired Village Gardener. That was the end of the dandelions! Now, after so many seasons I have lost track, they continue to do a great job, with consistent, reliable staff. They also do my snowplowing with the same reliability. I have recommended them to many friends. They are pricey but well worth it in the long run.

Village Gardener has maintained our landscaping and performed our snow removal in the winter for our property for about 5 years. Our landscaped property is about 6 acres and always looks perfect . The flower beds , flower pots, pond , lawn area , trees , natural area always look as if they have just been manicured. We always get compliments about how our Tucker Ranch property looks. Great experience. They showed up to remove a front yard birch tree by the date they gave us. I asked them to cut as low as possible and they were happy to do so. The clean up was quick and perfect. Even better, their bill was less than their initial estimate. I've used other local companies in the past 30 years, and these folks are the best of them.

I Dont know if this is the right place to do this but I really need to bring attention to a situation that affected me that includes an employee here named Oscar. I was on vacation to the Villages recently and stayed at the Hostle. On the next morning on my way to the airport I realised I had lost my cell phone, usually not a life ending problem EXCEPT I had the last picture I had ever taken of my grandmother saved in there. My heart sank but I could not miss my flight so I returned home to Florida pretty much in tears as I never expected to get it back. I tried calling the phone one last time and Oscar answered, assured me that he would send it to my address and even refused compensation! He saved my week! If you employ such honest, good people at this company such as Oscar, I am sure you will succeed over and over again. Workers make the company what it is and Oscar deserves endless praise for his good deed. Thank you so very much.

Tony and his crew are very hard working and always are striving to make us happy as clients. They have done everything from our basic gardening and irrigation to shoveling our roof in the winter to building a base for an exterior sculpture (which was way more complicated than any of us thought it would be). We have a property in the Aspen near Jackson Wyoming. The summer we decided to do the Landscaping and contacted the village gardener. We met with Linette the next day and received the plan within 2 days. This was important since we were only in town for a short time. As the work progressed throughout the summer we received regular updates and pictures of the new plantings which was comforting when we were not able to be there in person.

Village Gardener provides excellent service and customer service. For us they are a little on the expensive side, but they do a great job.

Knew of Village Gardener from their landscaping and maintenance of our common areas through the HOA. When I became bold enough to tackle a Wyoming garden, they were my first choice. Growing plants and flowers in Wyoming is a gardeners PHD. From the short growing season and arctic temperatures to the wildlife predators, you have to really know your business.

The entire staff helped me create a plan from my wish list and thoughtfully created an outdoor deck with landscaping surround and several beautiful entry flower beds. The deck blends in with the natural landscaping and appears seamless. Our home feels more welcoming thanks to the entry landscaping.

Would recommend them to anyone.

We have been very pleased with the lawn and garden services provided by Tony and his crew for the past 5 years! They do a great job and pay attention to detail. A recent example of this occurred a few weeks ago. We had been out of town and the day we returned was our scheduled lawn care day. The guys realized our grass was brown in some areas and looked very dry. They immediately contacted us and did not perform the scheduled mowing as it did not need it and reported the problem to the sprinkler system crew. They could have easily mowed and left without saying anything! I love having a regular crew each week that knows us and readily performs any request we make!!
We have also used Village Gardener to install flower beds. They work closely to make sure it is exactly the look you are striving for. The plants are healthy and top quality. They also have equipment and manpower to remove overgrowth of trees and shrubs.

So, imagine getting up for work knowing that you are going to spend your entire day digging holes for new light fixtures. You will be digging through roots and rocks and its in the nineties! Well, that is what the Village Gardener is doing at our location, and they are amazing! Not only are they preparing the yard for these new fixtures, but they are doing quickly and professionally, so as to not disturb the mature landscaping that they have been taking care of for years now. It has been the same with all of the work they have done at our location. Great care is taken to do the job well, and always leave the place even more beautiful than it was before. We are also in the process of a major pruning job, and it is almost like artwork, the care and beauty of the trees after the pruning is finished. Many, many thanks for all you do!!! I've been with Tony and his company for over ten years, maybe as many as 15! And they've been THE major, and only, players in all facets of my gardening needs: from planting new beds and maintaining them with spring and fall clean-ups and periodic weeding and mulching; overall lawn care including laying in of sod, installing and maintaining irrigation for lawns and gardens; creating walking paths through woods; removing dead trees; building stone stairways; and the biggie this year was a construction project to complement a newly built garage/studio which including grading, bringing in and placing boulders/rocks, making stone steps and walls, creating new flower beds, laying wood chip paths, installing drainage pipes, and more! Tony and his crews are the best - incredibly hard-working, diligent, friendly and fun. They listen to my desires/ideas, they make suggestions, they think out-of-the-box. They're amazing! I don't need/want to work with anyone else!

Tony and his team did a job for us that required them to pull up all of the stone work that I laid (when I was 7 months pregnant) 10 years ago because of the spring puddling that would occur. His team carefully laid the rock out in the same pattern, dug down deep to add a layer of weed free cloth, line the walk way with a metal barrier (it is a curvey pathway) and then add the fill and replaced the rock. It is beautiful now. His mason, Andrew, was super nice and courteous and a diligent worker so the job was finished in a timely manner.
