Location was perfect ! Loved every minute of our stay. James the manager was exceptional and very helpful with all of our needs. Daniel the concierge was also helpful during our stay. Loove the town and would recommend the cloudveil !
Don’t understand why reviews aren’t better. This place was beautiful. Great location. Nice staff. Rooms are gorgeous. A little pricey but that’s the area for you. If you can afford, and want to stay in heart of Downtown Jackson, I highly recommend. ||I travel a lot for personal and business. This place will become our go to spot in Jackson!
What a fabulous place to stay for a vacation in Jackson, Wy - close to the marvelous Grand Tetons. Many different associated aspects of the hotel helped make this a lovely vacation. Most importantly all the staff was wonderful, the valet, the front desk and special thanks to the very helpful, knowledgeable and kind Gabe and Tati at the concierge desk . Even before we got there, they spent focused time helping to plan our trip for activities and places to eat. Their tips were spot on with respect to restaurants and tours/services in the area (Ebike, Stargazing and wildlife) . They greeted us every day asking how our last activity was, checking in on what was next and always offering help if we needed it. Thank you Gabe and Tati! The hotel is in a great location, just outside the doors is access to the town square, shops and restaurants and very easy to meet the various tour companies we worked with either at the hotel or a quick walk. I have already recommended the Cloudveil to many and hope we get a chance to visit there again.
Nice hotel with an even better Roof Top Bar that we were able to enjoy. We went for a couple of drinks after dinner and was able to enjoy our time before the wind picked up. Only thing I would recommend is that the young lady who worked that night to be careful about generalizing a group of people while talking with customers.
Beautiful hotel in the heart of the mountains! Everything about our stay was incredible. The hotel was spotless, and our room was amazing—spacious, beautifully decorated, with super comfortable beds and coffee right in the room.
Each floor had thoughtful touches like snacks, tea, and a water bottle refill station, which we really appreciated. Check-in was a breeze, and every staff member we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
We had the best concierge, Tati! She was fantastic—she recommended all the best hikes and checked in with us each day when we returned. Thanks to her suggestions, we experienced the most breathtaking views and memorable climbs of our trip.
The location couldn’t have been better—right downtown, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. It’s just a 20-minute drive from the airport and also a short 20-minute drive to all the great hiking spots.
Also, The Bistro was hands-down the best restaurant in town—delicious food and incredible atmosphere! The fact that it was conveniently located right downstairs made it even better.
If you’re looking for luxury in the mountains, stay here—you won’t regret it!
Checked out the rooftop bar when we had a little time to kill. Loved the views, drinks, and appetizer we got!
I think the Michelin man has dementia and needs a screening because this place was certainly not it. Upon arriving I wasn’t sure if we pulled up to the right place… to put it nicely I thought it was the holiday inn… the rooms were dinky with cheap Romeo’s and Juliet balconies. 1500 dollars should’ve been 150. The bathroom was the rooms saving grace until I had to go full repair man / plumber when the shower handle fell off and onto my feet! I said okay I’m tired this maybe it’s me? Nope!!!! The service was 0 out of 5 stars. The waitresses upstairs clearly didn’t want to be there. They ghosted u like a Nigerian princes email after they take 1500 dollars a night out of your checking account. Nobody was happy to be or working at this hotel. I finally said ya know the marriot can’t mess up a fire pit right??? Wrong they did. When the fire pits worked they had a strict West Point style curfew at 10:30pm and shut the fires down. They wanted us asleep so they could go on their phones and pretend to work! Never ever again. For a four seasons price skip this one. Unless of course u want fire pits that don’t work and smell like burn pits from the gulf war, broken bathrooms and waitresses who ignore u, and closed amenities.
Look no further than The Cloudveil for your luxury Jackson Hole experience. From the in-room fireplace, rain head shower, nespresso machine, balconies, and Pathfinders Gabe and Tati to help you plan any adventure your heat desires, we'll never stay anywhere else. I won't mention all the little extras, go experience them and come away as delighted as we were. (Oh! And make sure to keep Wednesday's open for a special treat in the lobby from 5-6:00 pm!)
For a very expensive high-end hotel, they are lacking a lot of essentials and friendliness! The concierge who are there to help out of town guests seemed very unhappy and very enthusiastic about their jobs! There were two; the man was pretty good and gave us some good tips! The young blonde girl was unhelpful and very much made me feel like I was bothering her! She was annoyed by my questions and was more concerned on what she was doing on her computer than helping guests! The manager did not seem to care about my complaints regarding lack of warm water in the shower, not being able to turn the thermostat down to a cooler position! He did not follow up on my complaints nor seems to care about trying to accommodate us. Great location, comfortable bed, room size was good. Very mall pool especially for the size of the hotel. The rooms have very little lighting and no exhaust fans in the bathrooms. The valet parking service was very good! Would not recommend especially based on the cost of the hotel!
Absolutely amazing hotel with an even better location. This hotel went above and beyond when it came to extras. Cafe bar on each floor with spring water and sparkling, unlimited trail mixes, kettle chips, and bags of ice for your hikes! They supply you with everything you need. Pool is great, decor is 10/10 and the star of the show is the staff, specially Tati. Tati helped us plan our entire trip! She gave us all the info we needed to make a real decision (not fall into tourist traps) She is a top reason we are returning in September.
Our Family LOVED Cloudveil - Highly recommend!
What an AMAZING two week stay at Cloudveil! From Ricardo at the front desk, to the awesome concierge service from Gabe & Tati, to breakfast each morning with Fernando…this hotel is outstanding! The snacks, filtered water and ice on each level were so helpful as we ventured out each day to Great Teton & Yellowstone National parks!! We rode horses, went whitewater rafting, Jackson Rodeo, attended a FUN show and dinner at BART T 5, hiked Hidden Falls, Inspiration Point and more, enjoyed the hotel pool and raptor event in the lobby, and Gabe helped us find restaurants in Jackson! We cannot say enough great things about Cloudveil!!! And the wildlife (!) grizzly bear, moose and two calves, bison, elk, deer, eagles, and more! They took great care of us and our family!!!! Highly recommend!!!! Thank you Cloudveil.

Because of the people we’ve met and experiences we’ve had here on this trip - Jackson Hole is one of my favorite places on Earth.
James at check-in was so kind and helpful and sweet.
Room service folded my pajamas every day next to my pillow.
The snack station on every floor was NEXT LEVEL. Perfect for early risers, before hiking or adventures, or after a late night dinner. I swear my boyfriend stopped at the trail mix station multiple times a day.
Tati - a literal angel sent from the Marriot gods. She had tons of recommendations that fit any budget. She pushed to find activities that my boyfriend and I would both enjoy together. She made it a point to follow up with us after white water rafting because she knew I was scared. She even gave us a handwritten list of her favorite places within Yellowstone. I can’t say enough great things about her. Tati is an amazing human with an enormous heart and a calming vibe throughout it all. We are so grateful to have met her.
A new hotel in the heart of Jackson Hole. Lovely appointed rooms with lots of touches - reusable water bottles, lovely robes, etc ||Staff are very helpful. Free bikes for residents. Parking is easy - free in the public car park at the rear of the hotel.||Super roof top bar/restaurant with great views. Expensive but worth it.
My husband and I stayed and celebrated at The Cloudveil in Jackson Hole, WY for our upcoming first anniversary this month. The room was extremely cozy with a fireplace that we loved! We had a special card with wine and chocolates waiting for us in our room upon arrival! Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and the amenities were excellent. Tati at the concierge desk always went above and beyond each day to help us with recommendations and suggestions on restaurants and general questions we had about the Jackson Hole area. We look forward to going back to Jackson Hole one day and staying again for a wonderful experience at The Cloudveil!
Beautiful and comfortable room, great laid back vibe, terrific central location, and incredibly attentive service. A truly great stay. We are anxious and excited to return. Staff were genuinely nice and helpful. Bistro was excellent as well.
My stay at The Cloudveil was exceptional from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—right on Jackson’s Town Square with stunning views and easy access to shops, dining, and outdoor adventures. The design blends mountain luxury with modern comfort, and every detail feels intentional. The staff was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're visiting for a relaxing getaway or an active adventure, The Cloudveil is a perfect base. Highly recommend!
This is hands down the nicest marriot and everyone was so kind.
The room was excellent and felt so luxurious! Nespresso pods, snacks on each floor, water etc. A primary reason we chose this locstio. Was dog friendliness! There is a huge field across the street to throw the ball with my boys. The bistro was excellent. Ski shuttle was so easy to use to Jackson Hole. Ship skiis was awesome too.
I’d love to come back. Do not hesitate to book
Great stay! We loved the snack pantries, waterbottles, pool and hot tub. Tatii was great with giving us recommendations and checking in with how our stay has been every time we walked past the Pathfinder desk. We want to come back in the Summer!
I had a party of 21 that couldn’t fit at the bar at The Bistro and the manager of the hotel invited my entire party into the lobby and made sure we were able to order drinks and have a good time. I didn’t get the woman’s name but she was incredible and I hope her manager sees this. This was back in February during peak season for skiing and they took such good care of my large party. Highly recommend!!!
Great hotel. I was there for a wedding and the staff, spaces, food was awesome. The lobby was beautiful, the restaurant Bistro had great food, and the front desk staff was very helpful especially Flannán. He went out of his way to make sure my requests were fulfilled and executed in a timely manner. He's great.
A great property in the heart of Jackson Town Square! Prior to arrival, Pathfinders Gabe and Tati helped us plan all the activities throughout our stay. They answered our questions ranging from best time of day to what we needed to pack for a 12-hour snowmobile tour through Yellowstone. After each activity, we would stop at the concierge desk in the lobby to chat about our day and prepare for the next one. Tati even shared a list of her favorite stores in town. Without their guidance, we would not have been able to take advantage of all JH had to offer. The shuttle service and ski concierge were an unexpected but appreciated surprise. Highly recommend an espresso martini from The Bistro - you can enjoy one by the fire in the lobby - the perfect après ski vibe! The snacks on each floor and the complimentary branded water bottles in each room were a unique touch. We look forward to coming back in the summer!
Stunning property. Friendly staff. Laid back attitude. The toiletries are AMAZING. Lots of complimentary items and snacks. The lobby is the most popular destination in JH! Located across from town square. In the winter months, don't rent a car. They provide all the transportation youll need. The restaurant, The Bistro, is also exceptional, but that's another review.. Nothing but wonderful things to say! Thank you.
I am a travel agent which means that I deal with hotels all day long. The customer service I received from James Oliver (Guest Service Manager) was absolutely refreshing. People don't usually go above and beyond these day, but James took the time to understand my requests and executed them beyond my expectations.
The hotel, room, facilities, and the bistro were all fantastic. However, on three separate occasions on three consecutive days our peaceful enjoyment in your hotel was interrupted by maintenance. ||As a builder for 38 years I understand required maintenance. However, knowing every tool used in all trades, your vendors chose to use convenient tools and not the most efficient or quietest. Screw guns were set to hammer drill instead of screw, hole cutting done with a jigsaw instead of a hole saw or similar, etc. ||It was heard throughout the lobby and in our room, 203.||Additionally, we used your concierge for many excursions. However, relative to a key issue he was not available which is understandable. When I left a message with my room number at the front desk for expedited service I received no response from anyone. This negatively impacted our stay and activities. The reason given was the front desk agent did not input the correct room number. As I told the on duty manager, one of the front desk’s primary functions is to utilize the room number to assure all information related to that room and guests are properly managed. We are disappointed.||We chose your hotel over our regular Four Seasons due to your location.
My wife and I have had the absolute best experience at this property. Everything from the rooms, service, and all the amenities. Great location being right off the square. Will absolutely return.
The Cloudveil, a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel in Jackson, should be the ceiling of the town hotel in terms of pricey.
The hotel is located next to the Deer Horn Park, which should be in a prime location in the town;
Platinum member benefit, $50 dollars of food credit per room for any choice; parking needs to be paid, please refer to the official website for the specific amount;
Fortunately, I was upgraded to the largest suite worth $1.9K, but I still need to pay part of the upgrade fee;
There is a Pantry Counter on each floor of the hotel, with hot drinks, cold drinks and snacks, free to use, and the 2 drinking bottles given by the hotel are also very unique. The hotel room rate does not include the Destination Fee of 48 dollars per day. The hotel has its own restaurant (The Bistro) with a good atmosphere, and the 50 dollars of Creidt is barely enough for the breakfast cost of 2 people.
The hotel staffs are very warm and friendly and helpful, very impresive.
As of January 1,2025 the hotel is undergoing construction for rooms 110 - 115. Around 4am construction starts each day and all you hear are jack hammers, saws, drills, and hammers going off. Also the hot drinking water and cold drinking water are also out. So you have to go somewhere else if you’d like cold or hot drinking water!
Check out the 4 seasons, they aren’t currently under construction there.
Tati the concierge made our trip even more memorable. She knew how to get to yes and exceeded our expectations with every interaction. She is truly first class and cares about each and every guest she encounters.
It was such a treat that I plan to come back. I wanted to give a special shout out to the Pathfinder/Conceirge team. Specifically Tati who helped me with last minute activities and dinner plans. All were fabulous and I had plenty to do on my trip. My first time traveling alone for the holidays and I felt like I could ask her or her teammate for any guidance. Thank you Tati! The housekeeping staff were also on top of it!
Extra note: my flight was cancelled and I ended up staying an extra night. I called the hotel to see if there was space for the night. Flannan at the front desk was extremely helpful. He checked and was able to get me in the last room. He remembered who I was and welcomed me when I got back. Such an amazing trip! I will come back.
I’ve been with Starwood/Marriott since 2007. This is hands down the best property of theirs I’ve been to. Amazing, friendly staff, beautiful, clean rooms, impeccable ski-lodge vibes. From the moment I checked in I was made to feel at home! I will fly to Jackson Hole just to stay here - it’s that good! They made my solo Christmas one of the best I’ve ever had. Shout out to the concierge who is the most professional, friendly, and kind concierge of any hotel I’ve ever been to!
Tony is amazing along with the rest of the staff…too many to mention. Best place to stay in downtown Jackson.
We had a great time at Cloudveil. The location is perfect if you want to be dowmtown. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff wonderful. If you’re lucky, Tatiana, a concierge, will be on shift who will set you up with amazing details of Jackson that will make your stay wonderful. She was extremely helpful assisting us navigate the area with great hikes, a safari (saw mouse, bald eagles, rams, elk), and dining reservations.
We had an amazing stay at the Cloudveil, with exceptional service from everyone we encountered. Our concierge, Tati, is incredible. From helping up plan the right hikes day to day, to sitting and chatting with us about all things Jackson, to her friendly, open style, Tati helped make our trip even more enjoyable!
I've stayed here twice. On my last visit around Labor day this year, I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite without even requesting an upgrade. While I do hold Platinum status with Marriott & also have Lifetime Silver Elite status, that's pretty common due to status devaluation by Marriott, so I appreciated the thoughtfulness of the management. The hotel also gives pretty generous daily breakfast credit to Platinum elites & above for their restaurant named "The Bistro", where I also had dinner (not with the F&B credit, though).
The staff here (including the front-desk, bell-desk & The Bistro staff) is very nice & customer-centric.
The suite was quite luxurious & comfy, and the hotel's location is also quite good. Hallways have computer desks with printers, and a selection of snacks & hot/cold beverages
The hotel gives freebies to guests, such as water bottles with hotel insignia. This time around, even some beauty product samples from a local company.
I'll be back next year.
My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary at The Cloudveil. The accommodations and location are phenomenal. We even had an unfortunate incident where housekeeping threw away a few hundred dollars worth of our belongings. The manager, Juan, was more than apologetic and was able to make it right for us. Despite this misunderstanding, we left with a great experience and look forward to staying here again.
For this price point, I highly recommend the Hotel Jackson. Stayed there my last visit and will plan to stay there in the future.
Service trucks start arriving between 5-6 AM. I was there three nights and it occurred every morning. Two mornings it was two guys in a truck dumping empty bottles and cans from what I assume was the bar. The other morning it was multiple delivery trucks.
The hotel is in a great spot with access to most of the square area. It looks upscale with many decorative appointments. We experienced a few hiccups. Sheets not clean, shower did not drain and sunken spot in the mattress. They changed the sheets and fixed the drains but no luck with the mattress as there was 'no replacement in stock'. At this price point, not remotely a decent value. Autograph collection with Marriott is usually top of the line, not here. Concierge service was lacking, ended up doing our own bookings.
A very nice hotel. Warning!!!!! It is incredibly loud! You will NOT get a good nights sleep. The trucks start backing up with loud beeping, revving engines and loud idling starting at 5am and do not stop until after 8am. This is the loudest hotel I have ever been too! If you stay here you will not sleep!
Beautiful hotel, great food but the roof top bar was very disappointing ,we asked for espresso martinis and they were the worst I ever had, even the glasses they put them in were terrible, staff should really know how to make them especially at the price of $18!!
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous and the location is great. I do have to share my experience tonight coming up to the rooftop bar which was extremely confusing/disappointing.
We arrived at 8:30 expecting to be able to have a night cap as all signs said the rooftop closed at 10 pm. We were immediately told when we walked out to the rooftop that they were doing last call due to a low amount of people on the rooftop. I asked politely what time the rooftop normally closes and was told “it’s last call.”
I proceeded to watch a group of 8 people, a group of 4 people, 2 groups of 2 people, and another group of 3 be told the same exact thing.
I think it’s pretty obvious here most people are going out for dinner around 7 and wanting to come back to use the rooftop bar for a night cap, which is exactly what many people were wanting to do but we’re immediately told last call way before closing. If you’re hours say open until 10 pm then stay open until 10 pm. It was so odd watching a business repeatedly turn down customers from 8:30 to 9 pm just so they could close early. Very disappointing and honestly so weird.
Cleanliness is super high, everything is quiet and luxurious, and it suits well in the Autograph Collection. Pretty close to the Jackson Hole Airport as well, very easy as my American Airlines CRJ-700 was stuck there due to intense snow and high winds. Everything feels upscale, the price is the only thing that brings it down, but 4 stars.
One of the nicest hotels I've ever been too. Location was centrally located, and the snacks were much appreciated! Was here for a workshop and everything was perfect.
My second time at this hotel, and I will definitely go back. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds very comfortable, my only complaint being my rooms have not had great views. The location is perfect, right on the square. The staff is phenomenal. The front desk let my daughter and I check in early, as our flight came in before lunch and there was a room available. And a special SHOUT OUT to Tati, the hotel's "pathfinder": she knew exactly what to recommend so that my daughter and I shared the most amazing experience of Jackson; she pointed us to a variety of real "locals" places; she made a point of following up daily to see how we made out and what additional guidance we needed. Tati, if you read this, the waffles were well worth the walk to the top, though the views alone were spectacular. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Cloudveil in Jackson, WY!!!
I rarely post but this property was exceptional. The room was cozy and had a great vibe for Jackson. The location was wonderful. We were steps to dining, shopping and everything Jackson has to offer. We were dazzled by hand written welcome notes and wine sent to our room. I also need to mention Jackie the consierge. She arranged our tours and dining reservations becoming our own personal travel agent. I highly recommend this hotel if you want access to nature and lots of in town fun with great service and attention to detail.
The staff was truly incredible and what made the experience for me! I would say that the rooms themselves were not worth the price, the walls are also quite thin so you can hear your neighbors.
I was really impressed with the hotel. The location right in the city of jackson hole was walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The lobby was very beautiful and the front desk staff were friendly and professional. My room was amazing, I felt like i was staying in a luxury cabin in the mountains. Having the fireplace was a lovely touch. King bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was amazing with separate standing shower and toilet stall. There were also complimentary snacks (chips/nuts) and water outside the rooms-really nice touch. They provided 2 water bottles that you could take back. I had dinner at restaurant bistro - good food and service. I didnt give full marks for the room because of the following: 1. The sink tap was slightly troublesome to turn on and off-they are designed like wheels. 2. Room walls are thin, first night i had trouble falling asleep, could hear the TV from next door! 3. Room had no view - all i saw was the car porch. I paid about close to USD1000 per night- but expected for this location and time of the year during summer.
You cant beat the location of this hotel! Walk right out the door and you are in the center of town to great shops and restaurants. The service here is impeccable and my daughter especially loved the snacks on each floor! We had a suite which worked out great for my family!
A beautiful hotel with great location but everything just fell a little short of being the true luxury getaway from the pillows to the screaming children and fighting families on both sides of us to housekeeping coming in at 8 am Sunday morning to the rooftop bar being closed for a private event. The Tetons are so beautiful and serene but the hotel didn’t match that.
We booked our room through AMEX Platinum and couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. We were met with wine and some hotel goodies in our hotel room and a free upgrade, we had $100 credit to use for the hotel and we just used it on breakfast everyday. Valet was wonderful as well and we received some great recommendations from Brendan.
The location is fantastic, you can just walk to the shops and restaurants.
We will definitely be back!
After a road trip from Glacier down through Yellowstone, we stayed at the Cloudveil for a night. The rooms were awesome, front desk service was great, and breakfast in the morning was awesome. Only negative part of our experience, was it seemed like the rooftop may have been understaffed for the guests they had on a Tuesday night. The waiter took about 25 minutes to come and take our drink order, then came back about 20 minutes later and took our drink order again after the manager came over to ask if we had been helped - but the views from that rooftop bar were spectacular.
Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at The Cloudveil in Jackson Hole, and it was an experience that far exceeded our already high expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to unparalleled hospitality that made our trip truly unforgettable.
The hotel itself is a gem, nestled in the heart of Jackson Hole with a sophisticated, yet cozy ambiance that perfectly captures the spirit of the region. The Bistro restaurant was one of the best in Jackson.
What truly set our stay apart was the exceptional service provided by the concierge team – Tati, Jackie, and Hana. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Their attention to detail, flexibility, and thoughtful recommendations made our trip extraordinary.
Tati, Jackie, and Hana took the time to understand our family’s preferences and crafted an itinerary that was both exciting and relaxing. Their recommendations for dining, activities, and local attractions were spot-on, catering to our diverse interests and ensuring that everyone in our family had a fantastic time. Whether it was securing reservations at the best restaurants or arranging last-minute changes to our plans, their efficiency and dedication were truly impressive. What really touched us was their personal touch. They followed up with us regularly to make sure we were enjoying our activities and were always available to address any questions or concerns we had.
Their warm and friendly demeanor made us feel like we were more than just guests. As if their impeccable service wasn’t enough, they somehow managed to provide us with perfect weather throughout our stay! Every day was filled with sunshine and clear skies, allowing us to fully enjoy the natural beauty of Jackson Hole.
If you are planning a trip to Jackson Hole, staying at The Cloudveil and experiencing the exceptional service of their concierge team is an absolute must.
Amazing hotel. Awesome staff. Phenomenal restaurant… but, without the young woman at the front desk by the name of Grace this hotel would have fallen short. Thank you Grace!
Wow this hotel is amazing. Stayed here for 3 nights in late June 2024.
We were warmly greeted upon check-in. Kids were gifted with plush stuffed animals which they loved.
We booked a room with two queen beds. the entire room was so cool. Modern vibe. But had every amenity you could ask for. Reading lights with individual switches at bedside. Lots of outlets with USB ports for charging your devices. Comfortable beds, pillows and sheets. Sitting area with table. The shower had the most fantastic water pressure, coupled with the shower rain head... so awesome.
All of us enjoyed the free snack bars located on every floor, which had 4-5 different trail mixes available, canned la croix waters, a chilled water dispenser, fruit rollups, chips, and they even offered packaged ice for coolers.
Kids loved the pool. They have a nice sized hot tub that fits 10-15 ppl. The pool is on the smaller side, but was refreshing.
And we loved taking advantage of their free local transportation services, in lieu of taking an uber.
We enjoyed drinks/appetizers on the roof bar at night, which overlooks the town square.
And lastly - the on-site restaurant, The Bistro, was great. Stays open late (11pm?) and had great food.
To be in the heart of downtown Jackson was absolutely perfect - walking access to everything you could need!
1. Valet - worked out find, was hard to access day one with poor signage, but once you know where to go - is an easy in and out - and daily rates were not terrible.
2. Room was spacious, but given my lifetime status, I was disappointed to be situated about the trash, with no view. Also, the 4am cleaning crew dumping cans and bottles into the metal bin was a rude awakening each morning and detracted from the experience.
3. Some finishes just don’t make sense, the bathrooms, which have two sinks, is incredible, however, there are pendant lams hanging about head high, so I frequently hit my head while brushing my teeth.
4. Towels felt hard to come by, often having to ask for extra’s as there is no turndown/evening service - also all the towels had white pile, and often left a mess - beware if you have dark clothing.
5. Pool and hot tub were often filled with families and small children, so we did not use them. Also, the pool and roof hours are locked off to visitors after 9 and 10pm respectively
6. Each floor has a snack station - which was a pleasant surprise - Ice, Drinks, Snacks - which was very helpful.
7. Rooftop bar was awesome, way more space than expected.
8. New construction
Overall a great property, but the small misses make it hard to justify their summer rates that are well into a 4-Seasons price range.
This is the perfect spot, with the most amazing crew ever. If you stay here you will be pampered by excellent room housekeeping service, every crew member that I ran into seem to love working here!
Go to the rooftop bar around 530. Great spot to view the town? The mountains, and also the little 6pm nightly shootout play in the streets below. Great cocktails and live music. Don't have to stay at the lovely hotel, just goto the roof during happy hour for some drinks!
I have stayed at a lot of Marriott properties. I went in to the Cloudveil with high expectations due to excellent reviews. Let’s just say that this play greatly exceeded all my expectations with their outstanding staff and luxuriously ordained rooms. Other hotels should pay attention; this one sets the bar.
Got to stay here for a wedding (5 night stay) and not only did the CloudVeil team make it an exceptional experience but it's probably one of the best Marriott properties I have stayed at in all my Marriott experiences and I'm at 655+ stays. Great representation of brand.
See you in the ski season 2025!
Beautiful autograph hotel. Gorgeous amenities and rooms.
Jackson prices, resort fee (about $35, we stayed one night). The fee included 2 branded metal water bottles with access to filtered spring water on each floor and unlimited snacks from the pantry.
No free parking at the hotel, options are valet ($35 a night), street parking (good luck! Limited to 3 hours before 6pm but then overnight is possible). Staff recommended a public parking garage about 0.5 miles away next to SpringHill suites. I did this option and had no issues leaving the car there overnight.
Great staff ! Very comfortable, spacious well designed ‘bath’room. Always filled waters, teas & snacks on each floor. Multiple spots to hang out in the lobby if that’s your thing.
After 3 nights of staying at a cabin at the Yellowstone Hotel, we had a much needed stay at a proper hotel stay at The Cloudveil.
The lobby was inviting. Our room was spacious and very well appointed with a modern ski lodge decor. Much attention was paid to the finishing details including leather-wrapped trimmings to the furniture and fixtures. The bathroom is very laid out with a 2-person shower stall and a separate toilet room. We are most impressed with the little things like complimentary water bottles.
Each floor has a refueling station with water, tea and snack bars.
Loved our stay at the hotel.
Wonderful customer service, James was an All-Star. I highly recommend dealing with James for any future stays. Thank you, James.
Staff was very helpful and attentive, all kinds of services, transportation, skiing shuttles, great hot tub area after a long day, beautiful lounge area and fire place, had various entertainment in the evening, recommend highly
As a travel writer who has stayed in thousands of hotels all over the world, it takes a lot to impress me. But The Cloudveil stands out in my mind for several reasons. First, the location, just a few steps away from Jackson's historic Town Square, is hard to beat. Then there are the epic views of Snow King Mountain from the hot tub and heated outdoor pool. I also love the snack/drink pantry on each floor -- very few properties have this unique amenity -- and the complimentary shuttle service to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (and gear storage) makes skiing a lot less stressful. The hotel also hosts fun events like live music in the lobby, and we stayed recently on National Chocolate Day where they hosted an indulgent complimentary hot chocolate bar complete with baristas who could help you create the perfect cocoa. I could go on and on, but I have to take my dog for a walk. He, also loves The Cloudveil where he is greeted with treats and loves belly rubs from the amazing staff.
Me and hubby stayed here for Valentine’s Day week and we had an amazing time. The staff is phenomenal, super friendly and helpful. The Location is literally in the square within walking distance to all the shops and bars and restaurants. The decor is high end luxury cabin motif, there’s a large trough style sink that allows both of us to use the sink and mirror at the same time, the bed was comfy and cozy, there’s a fireplace in the room, an L shaped couch with a table for dining, and a lounging chair all in the room. I will say the walls are pretty thin so you hear the early risers get up and get out for the day. There is an outdoor hot tub that is large and hot and stays open until 9pm, the rooftop terrace has breathtaking views, the outdoor fire was pretty, the hotel is walking distance to everything literally, even the snow king mountain. I walked back from there after a day of skiing just to enjoy the outdoor air and it took me about 10 minutes. The lobby lounging area is beautiful and cozy and they keep the fireplace going nice and strong. They have board and card games available for families to play in the lobby, Each floor had a complimentary station that was stocked with different types of trail mix, chips, sparkling water, drinking water, energy bars, and coffee all free of charge and unlimited self serve. A homemade ice cream shop was across the street and it was phenomenal. Parking was valet, it was $30/day with in and out, and the car we rented was kept in a garage so that the snow didn’t affect the car. There is a restaurant and bar attached to the hotel called Bistro and although we didn’t have dinner there, the drinks were great and reasonable and the bar was super social. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would recommend The Cloudveil to anyone traveling to Jackson.
The problem with these Mariott "Autograph" is that they pretend to be member of Mariott Bonvoy benefit but actually, they don't care about members, and they follow their own rules...
A bit over priced but a lovely stay! Rooms are larger and shower is fantastic! I would definitely stay again
