I cannot say enough about the great people at Vermont Frames. The office staff are professional, courteous, responsive, and beyond patient. And the field crew are extremely polite, prompt, hard working, clean, and incredibly efficient. It is very foreign to me for a contractor to undersell and overperform to the extent that Vermont Frames does. My expected construction schedule for our garage and home timber frame and SIPS packages was a duration of approximately 2 1/2 weeks. The crew mobilized to our site on a Monday and were done and cleaned up by the following Wednesday morning! The work day starts no later than 5:30AM and anything less than a 12 hour day was a "short day". Our two structures were completed in 6 working days! Wish I could add a few more dozen stars here from a happy, happy, happy client...

Excellent craftsmanship on our timber frame. I shopped around and their pricing was by far the best but did not take away a drop of quality. The road crew that installed the frame were skilled and professional.

We did have some challenges/issues with their backend staff who is responsible for scheduling and planning.

But all in all we are very pleased with the results and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality timber frame!

Vermont Frames was amazing to work with, they were very accommodating as when my project had to be delayed 5 months. This team is well oiled, they all work great together. I highly recommend using their crane service, it is like a dance they way they move the beams, the hand signals and timing of everything.

Post and Beam structure. I was extremely satisfied with their construction crew and the high quality of their frames. Have recommended them to many people and hope to do more business with them in the future.

I have about 25 years experience as a contractor and have seen the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to other contractors and their work.
My wife and I are currently in the process of building our dream home here in NY.
We first met Vermont Frames about 8 years ago at a log and timber frame home show in Lake George. The knowledge and craftsmanship of their staff and work stood out above the rest. About two years ago we contracted Jim and his crew at Vermont Frames for our build. From the design process right though the completion of the install they were nothing but excellent! The quality of the work and the professionalism of they're staff is nothing less than 5 star.

The guys in their office are top-notch and very timely. When they sent their field crew, I was blown away by how talented, hardworking, and humorous they were. We built with Vermont Frames 12 years ago already but seems like it was yesterday. The positive adjectives (5 of them) that are available to attach to the review are nowhere near enough to describe how happy (and lucky) we were to have gone with Jim and the VF crew for our build. Ours was a self-build where we were our own general contractor and Jim and the crew went way above and beyond to make sure not only that we had a successful build but we had a ton of fun and a lifetime of memories from doing it. We are in Canada and got quotes from 4 companies in total with VF being the only one from the U.S. The decision was an easy one and it wasn't only financial, we felt 100% confident up front that Jim and the crew were going to help us to be successful building the home of our dreams and the great memories to go with it. They delivered on that and then some.

Really great company experience. Project was a 15 x 24 covered patio. Douglas Fir, planed, with all the trimmings. Measurements were provided and the Kit came fully ready for assembly. Everything fit perfect. The Job Foreman, Ron, was a joy. Josh was inside sales and completely professional. I highly recommend this company. Price was surprisingly reasonable.

The Vermont Frames team did an outstanding job on my 15x30 free standing pavilion. The fit and finish was perfect, and the guys were an absolute pleasure to deal with!

I cannot say enough great things about Vermont Frames, their staff, their framers, or the specific people I've worked with there. They spent at least 40+ hours on the phone with me, answering all my questions about their frames, their process, and their approach - all before I signed any purchase agreement with them. I never visited them or one of their homes, never met them in person, never called previous clients - I just knew from our discussions they weren't going to sell me a frame and leave me hanging. Over the 2 years I spent building my dream house, they answered every call, every email, and every question without hesitation, and always with a note of encouragement and support. 4 years later, I'd do it again in a heartbeat, and they'd be the first people I'd call to get started. They treated me and my home like their reputation depended completely on it, and every person that enters my house for the first time praises their craftsmanship without fail.
