Christian was able to take me on as a client this past summer. My lawn was a mess and they did an amazing job taking care of it. I was happy enough with their services over the summer that when winter came, they plowed for me as well. There was a time or two that I wasn't able to pay day of service. They were understanding and allowed a late payment. They even did a last minute plow for me. Very communicative! Highly recommend!

Venable and sons try to pride themselves on being a small business operated by the owner however as a business owner you should try to actually do a job to a certain standard. Venable and sons have come out multiple times this year with the storms and each time have left the area susceptible to slips and falls from the ice, remaining snow, and untouched areas that they are contracted to maintain.

If you’re looking for a company to contract out to for the purposes of suing on negligence this is it!

The team that fixed and added rocks to my pool were punctual and did an excellent job. Will definitely use them in the future.

I hired Chris Venable and his team to clear out brush and bushes that have overtaken my property as our lives have become exceedingly busy. In a day his crew removed all the overgrowth and restored my property to a state I haven’t seen in years. I was thrilled at the dedication and professionalism of his staff as I felt they went above and beyond. I highly recommend them and will be using them again. Im very sad to say i had a horrible experience with this business. I paid $250 for a service that was not provided. Do bot hire this company- they do not stand behind their work. I paid to have poison ivy removed completely. It was only pulled out but the roots were not removed so it grew back within 2 weeks. My attempts to work with the owner have been ignored. If you want an ethical business to provide honest work - do not hire venable & sons.

Amazingly professional. Returns calls and has always EXCEEDED expectations which is rare in today’s world. I wouldn’t call anyone else. They went out to our land fixed another persons horrible work and then sent us pictures showing before and after!!!!

We have a push mower, and our overgrown/damp lawn was causing our mower to bog down last month. It was only half done when my husband and I decided to call in some reinforcements! Venable & Son’s Lawn Care, LLC was wonderful! My husband called Christian in the evening, and he was at our home within 20 minutes to assess the job. He decided he could do it right then and there, and was done in less than 20 minutes! Highly, highly recommend! Super nice guy, and great work! He doesn’t bag the grass, but we didn’t mind! I've been a happy customer of Venable and Sons for a few years now. From the beginning, I was impressed with Christian's desire to build a good and successful business. He and his team have provided a variety of services, from mowing and plowing to moving my kids out of a 3rd floor apartment and into their home. I highly recommend getting on Venable and Sons' busy schedule. It's worth the wait.

CAN'T say enough great things about them!!
They were prompt to arrive(actually days sooner due to pending rain due on regular scheduled day), honest, hard working, professional, quick in getting the job done, high end equipment, is fully insured, very reasonable pricing, willing to work with you if needed, offers more then just basic mowing (ex: spring clean, detailed landscaping etc..,junk removal and more). Willing to travel some distance vs staying within radius only. Sure they have many happy customers and I'm just adding to that list!! Well worth every penny!

My lawn was a mess before christian and his crew came in. Between the winter storms and the bamboo taking over my yard i thought it was hopeless. Venable and sons came in and blew my expectations out of the water and at a very reasonable price. I will continue to go to them for all my lawn care needs.

After the last storm we had. I got buried in my driveway by the City plow and was unable to go anywhere! I wasn't physically able to shovel so I reached out to Facebook for help.. Christian was the one person who reached out and kindly came and shoveled out the back of my car... I was finally free!!!

Hired Venable & Sons to do yard work and fall cleanup. They did a great job on the property, getting the work done in a timely fashion, and were very reliable. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to have their yards tended to!

I was looking for lawncare last summer, as my front and back yards were starting to look prairie-like. Christian was the first person to call me after I went through Home Advisor, and was both helpful and responsive. The quote he gave me seemed reasonable for mowing and some brush cleanup, and he and his team did a solid job in quick time.

We agreed on a second visit to finish the project, hammered out a date, and that was where things went off the rails. No one showed up on the agreed-upon date, and when I reached out, we rescheduled. Same deal the second time. Over the next couple weeks I checked in two or three times to see if the Venable team would be able to help out or not, and the texts I sent were left on read.

When this spring rolled around, I got a text that was clearly a marketing effort announcing they were scheduling services for the season. Thanks, but pass. I'd have loved to keep working with them, but the ghosting was a no-go.

Christian is very prompt, and super responsive. I gave him a day needed and he came right out and they did great work on the yard! You can tell they obviously care about the quality of their work - definitely recommend

They plow and mow my properties. Always do a great job!! Very responsive to my expectations. They have also done multiple clean outs for me. Very fairly priced and strive to make customers happy

Christian, the owner, doesn't know anything about landscaping. Likely to give you an under estimated quote, just to turn around and raise it when the job is more than he expected. Leaves his customer negotiation up to the employees, i.e. if there's an issue and he doesn't want to get complained toward, or if the quote needs to be raised. Doesn't believe in paying a liveable wage and wants everyone to work for next to nothing. Expectations of employees working off the clock, and doing work for free. Doesn't keep his word, and his scheduling of jobs is all over the place, so don't expect to be a priority. He is really good at one thing though, sitting on his rump and mowing lawns while everyone else does the hard work, then claim he works harder. What a joke.
