We learned about Van Lier Roofing from friends who had vetted many roofers before signing on to Steve Van Lier's company. Our retreat in the mountains outside Boulder has a lot of different buildings, large and small, and a few had roofing problems that had plagued us for decades. Roofers had come and tried but failed to solve the problems. However, Steve Van Lier, who is akin to a "roof whisperer," solved every single one of our problems. His team re-did part of our newly re-roofed 55' diameter geodesic dome that was already leaking after being improperly done by a "discount" roofer who did not stand by his work. Steve has always been quick to respond when we need an opinion or an estimate, advising on actual needs and explaining what can wait, understanding that, as a non-profit, our budget is limited. We are grateful to Steve and Van Lier Roofing for their expertise and courteous service this past decade!
