Extremely happy with UTZ. John walked me through every detail of the roofing project, he was very professional and friendly at the same time. Being new at handling home repairs I am still learning. John explained everything and educated me on the process. The new roof looks great, the work was completed quickly and everything was cleaned up immaculately. I can’t say enough how happy I am with UTZ and their crew.

After a tornado hit our area I noticed that the flashing around the chimney was failing and causing leaks in my attic. Utz Roofing came highly recommend by our community and after seeing all the great reviews, I hired them without getting anymore bids.

I honestly didn't expect them to get to me right away as there were many full roofs that needed to be fixed, but John came right away and taped up that area until crew could start working on it. To my surprise, they were here the following week.

We had one hiccup, but it was quickly rectified. I would definitely hire them again. Thank you Utz team.

When I looked for a reputable company to repair hail storm damage to my house, I saw that Utz Roofing was recommended many times, so I hired David and his company to do the job. His roofing crew arrived early and had my new roof on and things cleaned up in one day. A few days later, he sent a worker to check to make sure every shingle was in order. They did high quality work in every area. David also helped me by arranging for another company to remove and replace my siding. Many houses were damaged by the hail storm, so after beginning the work on my house, the siding crew moved to other locations with the intention of continuing the work at my house on another day. There were also a few things that needed to be reworked to assure the beauty of the siding would match the beauty of the roof. David was concerned because it was taking longer for them to return than he expected, and he and one of his crew members worked extra hours, made the changes, and remained patient with me until they left. I found David to be friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, thorough, and someone who is easy to work with. I am happy to recommend him and his company and would hire them again. I gladly give them all 5 stars without hesitation!

Back in November 2024 during a heavy rain storm I woke up and had water leaking into my house. I reached out to several roofing companies and Utz was the only one to call me back that day. David and Nolan showed up at my house within a couple of hours with a tarp and climbed onto my 8/12 pitch in the pouring rain to help keep us dry. The effort that they put in that day got them the job once insurance approved my claim. This was my first time dealing with having my roof replaced and Nolan made it such an easy process. The hardest decision I had through the entire process was picking out which shingles I wanted, the easiest decision was choosing Utz!

We had storm damage to our roof during the recent high winds/tornadic storms in the area.

Utz called us quickly to set up a roof inspection. They came out and did the inspection incredibly quickly. They let us know there was some damage done but that the roof was in good shape overall.

The told us the price to repair which was fair, and fixed it immediately. We were very happy.

More strong winds hit us the vet next day and damaged more of the roof. We called again because we were worried the exposed roof could leak with rain in the forecast.

We called at 3pm on a Friday night. Most companies might call you back by the following Tuesday at best. Utz had our roof fixed at no charge by 8pm that same evening. Incredible.

My wife and I can’t recommend the entire Utz team more highly. 5 Stars!!! Well done and kudos.

Eric showed up just as the sun was going down and quickly put back the ridge piece of the dormer on our roof. I called other companies and was told I'd have weeks to wait. I met with John from Utz on repairing my roof. John was very responsive and knowledgeable as to what I needed to have done. John gave me a very good and fair bid compared to another contractor. The job is fantastic and completed quickly. I will use Utz from here on out and I will be recommending Utz to anyone I know that needs roofing done.

Outstanding prompt service. We emailed them on a weekend and they called us right back. John met us next day. Did the job at a reasonable price in a lightning fast timeline. Faster than any other roofer. This was a complete roof replacement on a 24 x 24 by cottage. The cottage was damaged in the recent tornado in March of 2025 that hit Franklin County. We are grateful to John with UTZ and his crew.

5 stars plus plus! Tim came out promptly to provide an estimate then continually kept me updated about the schedule given the lousy January weather. The entire crew was great and did a wonderful job. They went above and beyond like tightening gutters and cleaning them. Polite, respectful professionals who really knew their trade. Highly recommended!

So glad we went with Utz Roofing! Other bids were comparable but John and David were very knowledgeable and great at explaining the process, so we chose their bid. These guys went above and beyond to make sure our metal roof and overhangs were exactly what we wanted, and even color matched to our barn. We would definitely recommend Utz Roofing.

Honorable roofing company!

I met the UTZ rep in July and they graciously tried to help me navigate the murky waters of a State Farm roof claim and hurdles involving the prior homeowner. The insurance company stalled but the UTZ crew was patience and helpful to guide me through the ultimately denied State Farm claim due to the prior homeowners falisfying their claim.

The nice summer weather turned to crisp fall days turned into cold winter temperatures and I still needed a roof before the snow fell...nnd pay for it out of pocket. Time was running short. The UTZ crew not only squeezed me in right before this massive snow event but worked out their quote to be more budget friendly with different choices and options. I'm now safe and sound under a beautiful new roof dry literally mere hours before the first snowflake fell.

I contacted utz to take a look at a leaking skylight. we both agreed that the removal of said skylight would be the best course of action to fix my issue. Their crew showed up and was able to remove and cover up the hole pretty fast (can't even see where it was) utz is definitely reasonably priced and professional. Hope to work with this company in the future when my need rises again

I can't say enough about David! After torrential rains last week I suddenly had water seeping through the face of my large stone fireplace. I called several roofers in the area, and one no-showed and a couple others couldn't make it until the next week after more rain which I was obviously worried about. I finally called Utz on Friday and he said it would be well after dark before he could make it by, but he would be there. Sure enough, he showed up at 8pm on a Friday night, climbed up on the roof with a headlamp, patiently talked me through it as well as a few other questions I had, patched me up, and charged me a very reasonable rate for it! He was friendly, professional, and he showed up as he said he would. I will be using this company for any future work that they can provide!

I was recommended by Utz Contracting by a friend and project manager. I can not say how amazing working with Raymond has been. He held my hand though the insurance process, and was professional, polite, and his crew was very skilled and proficient. They did a great job of cleaning up at the end as well. David and his workers did a great job on our home, and I would recommend them to anyone needing Utz Roofing services. The whole process was outstanding starting with David coming out to the look at the problems all the way through the installation. My wife and I were very impressed that they promised to fix our roof, gutters, and skylights and followed through with it in a professional manor. The hail storm in March damaged our house and detached garage roofs requiring replacement. I contacted Utz and they were quick to respond and thorough in review and assessment of the damage. They worked with my insurance adjuster to confirm all the damage was included.

When the work was performed, Utz provided a large team to assure work was completed in one day. The following day they sent the foreman back to review the work and provide finishing touches.

The Utz crew was courteous and respectful of our home. They kept the worksite neat and hauled away all waste. We were very happy with the work and the team.

Needed a new roof due to a huge hail storm. Utz completed the work without issue and in a timely manner. Ryan Atchison was my project manager and very knowledgeable about the options we could consider. We wanted some extra things (seal the stone on the chimney and some siding) and he coordinated all of it.
The level of communication was excellent. Highly recommend.

John was most professional and helpful throughout the entire roof project. He was excellent at explaining contracts, insurance forms, and roofing lingo. He did not put any pressure on me to make a quick decision and he met with me on weekends and evenings to meet my scheduling needs. He picked up my shingles to complete my roof project verses waiting for the delivery of the shingles which would have taken weeks. I had my roof and sliding replaced after a hail storm. I worked with Tim. He and the main office had great communication-prompt responses and updates from my initial call all the way through project completion. There was some additional damage the insurance company had missed. The team quickly identified and repaired it, documenting their findings and work along the way. They promptly submitted the information to my insurance carrier so that my claim could be updated. I didn't have to do a thing! While the completed project looks outstanding, the peace of mind knowing that my home has been repaired and all of the unseen damage has been remedied is invaluable.

David was pleasant and easy to work with. He listened and revised the estimate a few times to see what options worked for us. He talked to our insurance adjuster a few times to discuss scope and needs. He sent videos and pictures of the damage and then of the completed project. He always responded to communications in a timely manner. He’s a nice guy who does what he says he’ll do. I would recommend!

Raymond Bell came right out after calling them. He took pictures of damage and said it had damage and I called my insurance company and they sent an adjuster out and after checking the roof gave the go ahead for a new roof. UTZ employees and staff were the finest there can be. They were careful and great at their job. The house and grounds around it were immaculate. I would recommend UTZ to anyone needing a roofing job done!

I had a leak in my roof , Ryan Atchison came over made sure my roof was temporarily fixed before he left for vacation , and as soon as he got back from vacation he was calling to make sure my roof was still good until he could get there to measure and order shingles , I ended up getting a whole new roof , and it looks awesome , they cleaned all their mess up, including nails !!! Had damage from storms, insurance was going to to send someone out with a 3 hour time window. The UTZ representative made sure he was there with the inspector even though it was within the 2nd to 3rd hour when they showed up. He was able to keep in contact with me via text messaging so we werent playing phone tag during my working hours. Roof color he recommended looks nice, they did cleanup after with magnets to make sure the nails were removed from the ground.
Over all pleasent experience with this company.

I have nothing but great things to say about Utz. The finished roof looks great and they were very tidy with cleanup. Raymond helped me through the entire process from start to finish without overlooking any details and never made me feel stupid. Can’t say enough about good things about Dave Utz and his team! We live high on a hill, great views but no protection from the elements. While the roof system was being put on, we had 3 wind storms and had no problems. We have a more complicated roof than some…skylights, standing seam, hail resistance shingles, and an area drain system for a flat section of the roof. Utz did a fantastic job!!

I was very impressed with how well they cleaned up after they were finished with the job. There was nothing left behind and they even took some scrap metal from my gutters for me and discarded it with my roofing materials… the guys were super nice. I would highly recommend them to anyone! David Utz is Highly Recommended in my book. A few of the things that really stood out to me was how Particular to detail David is in his work to do a Professional job & how he instills this in his employees.
The small dump trailer equipment he uses around your yard is also a Big plus to help keep most roof debris from landing on your lawn & in your bushes. Leaving almost no mess. Just small pickup & going over the yard with magnets to make sure Everything is removed.

David was always willing to answer all my questions & made this experience a Positive one. Taking the stress off the homeowner is a Big Plus in my book.
His price was also So Very Competitive as well.

UTZ contracting was very clear with what they were going to do and flexible on changes to the contract. Their work was very good and clean up very good. They even returned another day too make sure we were happy and to run the magnets again for tear off nails. Will recommend to others.

These guys did an incredible job! Got a new roof, new vents, repaired some rafters, put on new flashing on the chimney, identified any other problem areas.

Raymond was there every step in the process and was very responsive answering all of my questions during consultation, the day of install and everywhere between. His crew was incredibly friendly and fast...our large roof was finished and installed by early afternoon. Not to mention they did a phenomenal job with cleanup!
