I am extremely happy with the work completed for me by Universal Roofing and Exteriors. The work included new siding installation, repair of rotting sections of wood, and painting. I worked with Gary as my sales representative, and he was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Crystal was very helpful when scheduling my work, as well. After a fairly long period of backorder by the manufacturer, Crystal was able to squeeze my work in during a few nice days this winter. The crew that completed my work was very efficient and skilled, and the supervisor (I believe his name was James) was extremely professional and explained everything very well (including the additional rotting wood that needed replaced). I was extremely impressed with James taking care of some accidental damage on my ceiling inside, which happened due to accidental dropping of a hammer. I assumed it was incidental damage, however James brought it to my attention and had it promptly fixed. You can't tell there was ever a hole in my popcorn ceiling now because the drywall man did a wonderful job! The painters also did a phenomenal job painting the trim, existing siding on my sunroom, and doors. I am overall very happy with the work, and would recommend Gary and Universal Roofing & Exteriors to everyone!

This place is a joke.. They were recommended to us by our insurance company (shame on them and I will be filing a complaint about them with our insurance company) after our home was hit by the storm. This was our first claim ever so the process was very new to us. We had damage to the siding of our home and fence. They put a tarp on the side of the home and gave us a quote to paint and fix boards on the fence which was extremely high. We asked around and decided to call other companies to get quotes on new fences. We had a brand new fence installed for what they wanted to fix and paint old boards.. Once we received our insurance check I called their office to make good on the repairs they made for the tarp on the side of the home. The ladies in the office told me the bill was paid and we were good. I called twice to verify (a 2nd call a different day) and the lady in the office was to call me back that afternoon if there was any discrepancies. I never received a call back nor did we receive a bill in the mail. This was in late June early July 2023.. Here it is mid December and now I am being harassed saying my bill was never paid even though their office said the bill was paid and I tried to pay it. I got several emails from 3 different people in a matter of 1 day Justin, Matt and Gary. I would never do business with this company. They are very shady, expensive and don't conduct business well at all. I tried to pay a bill and it's not my fault their office said my bill was already paid for and taken care of. This is not a place you want to do business with.

Universal has completed two projects for us thus far, and they have been extremely professional throughout the process. To accompany their quality workmanship, Universal has shown that they are knowledgeable about their products and are quick to respond to our inquiries and scheduling needs.

The whole process had a strong start. Our salesperson Chris was excellent. They were thorough in guiding us and answering our questions. From there we had a slight hiccup in communication with the operations side but that was remedied and then the roof project began. They got our roof replaced and everything else on the list and we had no problems after that. They were quick to use up the good weather we had available in December. All in all happy with the experience.
Final note: our roof was part of an insurance claim but we did choose our own contractor.

Sam and his team did a great job painting our home. They were on-time, efficient and courteous. They paid attention to detail and in many cases went above and beyond!

I know what a "bad" Roofing Co experience is- I was able to escape their clutches! My experience with Universal Roofing was Top notch! The crew assigned did a great job with the exception of not protecting my plants. The supervisor of Universal Roofing documented the damage, I'm expecting some compensation for that; otherwise I am very satisfied with the results. You will not be disappointed with this company. I dealt with Chris Tillery from Universal roofing and exteriors and had a fantastic experience everything he said and promised he delivered and was always prompt both in face-to-face meetings and calls and text messages.

I had my house (Lebanon, IN) roof done by Jackson Contracting in 2018 and the company was wonderful to work with and had the lowest of 7 estimates. I got in touch with the company and found out that Universal Roofing bought them for their metal roof business. So, I got in touch with Chris Tillery the Sales Manager that is so sweet, cares about his customers and great work ethic. The roofers were amazing, quick, and respectful to my priority. The gutter company A&F Gutters were so quick, and their workmanship is awesome. It was great that Christian took his time to explain about the new gutters that were installed. If you are looking to get a new roof, check out your roof for storm damage or just to get information then call Universal Roofing. Since this is my first house, I made sure to do my research and would use Universal Roofing (Chris Tillery) on my future houses. Chris helped me get insurance money to pay for the new garage roof and gutters. I had a raccoon in my attic which came through a hole in the soffit by my roof. Universal came out and fixed the exterior access point. Nine months later the raccoon was back and had entered through the same access point. This time I had another vendor fix the access point. The new vendor fixed the interior and exterior. Both vendors charged the same amount.

One of the most professional and courteous companies I have ever dealt with. From the initial inspection of our roof, to coordination with our insurance company, to installation, and the final inspection. Every facet was completed on time with excellent communication with the homeowner.

I was referred to Universal by a friend and fellow customer and found them to be responsive, professional and thorough. Their crews worked very long hours on our home and the result was excellent. We had our entire roof replaced from storm damage and it was seamless from start to finish. The sales team communicated with me from the start and was easy to do business with. They came and installed the roof in 1 day and had a great cleanup. Would recommend to use for anyone’s roof replacement.

Had leak over a year ago. It was not discovered at the time. Had them come out twice this year for same issue. First time they couldn’t find again and second time they completed a water test and found a leak and completed a repair. Offered to repair drywall, in another area due to siding issue unrelated to roof, which I am thankful for, and they also painted areas with water spots for free. The paint was a different brand and therefore color (even though it was the same color name). Gary Boggs, Director of Sales, called to address the mismatched paint by the contractors and had it replaced for free. Gary was very kind and professional when speaking with my wife throughout the process!

Universal Roofing was wonderful, very professional and thorough. We had an issue with another builder and Universal took care of it, gave us a beautiful roof and had a great attitude throughout the process. Highly recommend this company. Rob Yeary is the best.

I was referred to Universal Roofing by my realtor. There were some repairs that needed to be done on the townhouse I was purchasing. They went up to inspect the roof and quoted me for the job. I gave them the go ahead to do the work but it never happened. I texted Kyle multiple times over the course of 8 months to see when the work could be done. He kept putting me off and stopped responding to texts all together.

We have used Universal Roofing not only for repairs but for recent large project of replacing roof with composite slate and new gutters. They were easy to work with and professional at every step. Billing was transparent and held no surprises. The install took some time related to size of project but pace was consistent and crews did a good job with clean-up. Quality and customer support seems excellent. They have the skills for complex projects. If I needed another roof, I would contact them.

Universal Roofing and Exteriors just replaced our 35 year old roof with new GAF HDZ shingles. Levi and the crew were great during the whole process. They left my yard and driveway spotless, I highly recommend them!!

So I had Chris come out to look at my roof and siding. We had another company come out and tell us that we needed a total new roof. This was just about a year after we had the roof replaced due to hail. We had gotten another bad hail storm so when the other company said we needed a new roof again, we were not surprised. But something just didn’t sound right. A friend recommended Chris as an honest guy to take a look. He came out and much to my pleasure he said that while he could see a hit or two, there was certainly no need for any type of work on the roof.
Integrity is really important to me. So while Chris and team won’t be getting the work, he’s earned lots of referrals to my friends when they need something done.

Excellent from insurance adjuster to the roofers couldn’t be happier. The owner of the company actually came out himself and explained everything in detail. Have told everyone about Universal very honest very efficient.! Great job.!

Awesome company! Nick Fletcher coordinated the Roof repairs with other contractors, and provided clear and timely communication with the Insurance Adjuster and us. The workers were friendly and professional, and cleaned up very well after the work was completed. The office staff was always very friendly and professional, and always provided quick, clear communication and follow-up info. I recommend them to all!

Couldn't thank Universal Roofing & Exteriors enough for the amazing job they did on my parents roof. We have a pretty tall 2 story house in Carmel and the house was a little over 15 years old and it was time for a new roof for sure. We met with Rob Yeary to have everything checked out and we didn't feel pressured at all to have to buy a new roof. Rob made us feel like family, taking the time to meet with us, let us ask ALL the questions we could think of, and took the time to answer all of them. After getting a plan, we not only got a new roof - but we went with some custom copper work around the tops of our roof to give it an even better look. Universal's team came out, they didn't leave ANY mess at all and even protected all of our plants and trees. You would have never even known they were there... and the roof was AMAZING! Universal roofing is a real family owned company that I have been known them 20 years. They did twice my entire roofing, the last one was this summer after the hail storm damage that happened March 2022. They gave me the best price again and did excellent job.

Recently had our roof replaced with Universal and are very happy with the work performed. We received a few different quotes and they were on par with the other roofing companies. We ultimately chose to go with them because of their responsiveness and attention to detail.

Our project manager, Beshoy, was phenomenal. From the first phone call, until the job was complete, he followed through on every detail as promised. Highly recommend asking for Beshoy to be on your job!

Replacing a roof is a big expense and entrusting the work to a company who has been around and stood the test of time, matters. If there would be any unforeseeable issues going forward, it's nice to know we have a company we can call that will stand behind their work.

We needed a small area on our roof repaired that had shingle damage. Universal arrived in a timely manner and did a temporary repair in case it rained before they could return for the complete repair, they did not charge for the temporary repair. They returned sooner than expected to complete the job. They did a great job and also checked out the entire roof and found another area that needed some attention and took care of it at no additional cost. I would not hesitate to recommend Universal to anyone needing roof repair or a completely new roof.

Universal roofing is a family owned and operated, and have been around for 35 years. They did my parents roof 20 years ago and did my roof in 2020. Turned out really well, and had no issues.

Universal installed gutters, downspouts, siding, windows, doors, flat roofs, steep roofs, and can do copper bays.

I was thinking about switching to a metal roof over the front porch but decided not to do it.

The roof took 1 day to remove and install. The crew worked until 8:00 PM and was starting at 7:00. Gutters were installed a week later.

Communication was excellent and the quality of work was amazing. They cleaned my yard very well and protected my plants. No issues with the install.

The team did a great job repairing are roof. They showed use how they were going to do the work and asked if we had any question. When the we’re done it all looked fantastic. Their team put down tarps in the yard and put everything in bags when it came off the roof. The bushes plants and yard looked perfect when they were done with the job. Thanks to all of the team at Universal Roofing great job.

Had the team back this year to install new siding on my house. Once again did a great job looks great. Fit, finish and paint all great. Rob and his team always go the extra miles.
