Within 24hours of my house fire, United Property Restoration Services met with me and helped me through their Emergency Services to secure my home. At a time of confusion, devastation and feelings of helplessness, they took their time explaining to me the process that I would be going through as I put this home back together. The process is still on going but my feelings of confusion, devastation and helplessness no longer exist. Thanks to the Emergancy Services and all of the rest of United Property Restoration Services various teams that have been working to bring my home back to life. Professional, caring company.

I had a sprinkler that had broke flooding 3 apartments, With one phone call to Licia she had a team to respond within a couple hours, with the teams hard workand quick response they kept my damages to a minimum. United knows their stuff. Restoration work isn't easy or quick, but you want to have a knowledgeable company in your corner who can walk you through the process and see the job through.

My wife and I give a big THANK YOU to the entire staff at United Property Restoration Services. Having a major fire that destroyed our home of over 30 years along with all the emotional aspects is life-changing. United helped us from the day of the fire and through completion of our rebuilt house. We are fortunate to have so many thoughtful, caring people helping us. The build teams were professional, kind, communicative and thoughtful. In any small or major build there will always be hiccups and issues. Rebuilding an entire home is complicated. United was there for us with asbestos remediation, building code updates and the rebuilding of every system in our home. It was 20 minutes of fire, heat and smoke to destroy our home and 11 months to rebuild. United was quick in our rebuild. The process of what the insurance company does and remediation of asbestos and building code approvals and updates is what slows the process down. United was always ready to go with rebuilding our systems as things were approved by the State of CT, the town of Madison and by our insurance company.
My wife and I appreciate how our building managers (we had two because one retired during our build) listened to how we wanted to upgrade certain systems. We understood that upgrades beyond what we already had would incur costs above what the insurance company would pay. For example, we upgraded our HVAC to a Bosch Heat pump system. United did a wonderful job coordinating with Daniel's energy to insure our system was completed. United completed all work that was requested by Daniel's so that our Bosch Heat pump system could be installed.
With all the emotion aspects because of the destruction of our home, we are very appreciative and fortunate to have been blessed to have so many caring and professional people working with us. United Property Restoration Services and Dillman and Dillman (Public Insurance Adjusters) worked closely with our insurance company to insure that our home was rebuilt with quality. The budget included thousands of items that had to be rebuilt. Just think of replacing everything in a home.
Lastly, the build is spectacular. Everyone on the build team did a superb job. It is clear that experienced professionals rebuilt our home.

Joe and his team provided exceptional service during the mitigation process following a major water damage incident in our home caused by a burst pipe. Despite it being over the holidays, they arrived promptly the next day to assess the situation and immediately got to work.

Their diligence and attention to detail were outstanding. They thoroughly inspected every area, identifying moisture in places we would never have thought to check. This level of thoroughness gave us great confidence that no hidden damage would be left untreated.

We also have a GarageTek wall system, which they carefully dismantled, labeling each piece to ensure it could be easily reassembled later. This extra step demonstrated their professionalism and respect for our property.

Joe was consistently transparent and communicative throughout the entire process. He clearly explained what they were doing and why, keeping us informed every step of the way.

We had a fire at our condo complex in Provincetown. United did a stellar job and were so responsive. Karl and Gustavo were so helpful in every way. Our condo units look amazing.

I am writing this review to shine light on how awful the process has been working with this company. What turned into an agreement to get this project finished promptly (few weeks to a month) turned into the project still not being finished to this day and we started beginning of January. Our home lets in a moderate amount of rain water from the second floor to the first which is why we needed this project done immediately. This company spent weeks going back and forth with insurance on “plans they wrote up” and most things we did not agree upon. For example, tried sending a quote for our whole downstairs kitchen and den to be remodeled knowing we were on a very tight timeline because of sensitive personal reasons.

Long story short it has been wonderful living in a home with a whole taped off section of the home next to our children’s nursery when there was asbestos concerns and mold.

Please think twice before going with this company.

My mother ended up with water in her furnished basement after some recent intense rain. I live out of state and needed to work with people who were professional and took ownership of the entire problem.

I spoke with Denise and she was very informative and helpful. I drove down and met the crew to let them into the house. The young man running the crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. I left them there feeling pretty good after just a few minutes.

Over the next few days I got updates from my mom as they came in a couple of days to check how things were progressing and after about a week they cleared their stuff out and reset the carpet. All was good.

The job was 100% turn key, requiring zero involvement. Yes it cost money. But they did what they said they were going to do for about what they estimated it would cost. The job was complete and. professionally done. They even helped my mom put the furniture back in place.

I can't recommend them enough.

My basement flooded back in 2015 and I never left a review. My insurance handled everything but this company was very responsive and professional, got the job done in no time. Mind you, the mess was not pretty. They deep cleaned, replaced all my carpets, painted and left everything better than what it was before. I have always been eternally grateful. Thank you!

They constantly guided us through the restoration process when we were about to lose faith and give up. They never faltered; kept the momentum going until we reached our ultimate goal. The fire at our home was categorized as a complete loss. Important decisions had to be made in a short time to ensure our property was secure, then cleaned, evaluated, and ultimately restored. We chose United. We have no regrets. From our original meeting and throughout the process all of our questions were answered, all of our concerns were addressed with understanding and patience. Although our project is not complete at this point the craftsmanship of their staff and professional contractors has exceeded my expectation. The staff(project manager, kitchen designer, even the owner)that we are working with are great people that are talented, knowledgeable and respond quickly. So ill repeat myself and say I am happy with the decision we made.

I highly recommend United Cleaning and Restoration. After suffering a devastating house fire, United came in and restored our house and made it a home again. They are willing to listen to your wants and needs and will do whatever it takes to get you what you want. They are extremely knowledgeable and have an amazing crew both at their office as well as on site. It's a breath of fresh air knowing that we are in good hands with the rebuild of our home.

My contractor Ed was the best person I've ever worked with! His attitude was always "I'll take care of it". My whole house had to be replaced and because of Ed and his team my house looks amazing!

I was very impressed with the quality of work completed by United Restoration. They were very professional in how they mitigated water damage. Adam and Brian did a very food job in completing the actual process of getting rid of any mold surface and restoring them to better than original areas. The work was done in a very competent and timely manner. Rachel who evaluated the work that needed to be completed was very good about answering any questions and followed through on each phase of the work. Kathy the receptionist, was very prompt in connecting the people who I needed to speak with. They were not cheap, but the quality of the work speaks for itself.

We had major mold damage hidden in our mudroom that caused our floor to collapse. We have only positive things to say about United Cleaning and Restoration. From the very beginning of our experience through project completion we have been absolutely delighted with the kindness, excellent customer service, competitive quote, timely responses, quality workmanship and a high level of ethics with a commitment to customer satisfaction at every level. Do not use this service; they are extremely unprofessional, untimely, extremely rude, definitely misogynistic and they take advantage of their clients. They're disorganized, don't have any morals or ethics in regards to how they handle business with people of color. Completely gaslit my family and I with our experience with them.

My parents business caught on fire in December 2017. UCR failed to complete the project within the 6 months timeframe that was initially given to us and my parents weren't able to reopen their business until June 2020 after needing to involve lawyers.

UCR and Sabel Adjusters work closely together. The adjusters and UCR have a close relationship and our experience was that they were only after the $ from the insurance company. The cost of the project was the same, down to the last penny, from what the insurance company from my parents' business approved of.

I spoke with both parties for the majority of the timeframe, the project managers always changed - there barely was one, they never followed directions or completed certain aspects of the project the way they were asked to be done, they never were able to provide receipts for materials or labor, and I felt like the client ends up being the project manager to ensure it's completed on time.

My dad ended up fixing and repairing parts of the job that was done from it falling apart or not being done completely.

We had to get lawyers involved for various reasons but long story short, save yourself the financial and emotional burdens and go with another company.

Do not use this service. They tried to charge us for work not done. They never got a permit from the city for doing a major plumbing job. They also threatened to prevent us from selling our home if we didn’t pay them the full amount (which included work they didn’t do). They tried to get a separate contractor who was doing other work for us to do THEIR job and blamed the other contractor when the work wasn’t done. They are misogynistic and would ONLY speak with men involved in the project. They bully you, side-step the rules and charge you for work not done. All while taking advantage of your emotional state after a tragic loss of property. Do. Not. Use. This. Service.

I had some work done by United Cleaning and Restoration after water damage in my first floor and basement. We had to call our project manager multiple times to get a start date, which was pushed back three times, and a job that was supposed to take a week took 4 months. My husband and I had to visit our home and take pictures of things that were done incorrectly and check in with the project manager to make sure they were taken care of. They had to fire the first painter due to paint drops on almost everything he painted, and the second painter did marginally better. Spackle was left on our trim and not sanded down, our French doors were hung incorrectly twice, and the floors in our basement had to be redone after completion when we realized they were not level at all. Communication was horrible, and they used my personal vacuum to clean. I requested a new vacuum, and all they did was "clean" it. Most of the work they did we had to get redone. Waste of time, money, and not worth the stress. Go with another company if you want quality work done in a realistic timeline.

When I need a service company I look for a company that is responsive and attentive, as well as professional and motivated by quality performance. UCR has been nothing but impressive in all facets.

An awesome group of people! Everyone treated us like we were family. At a time when water damage ruined our 1year old totally remodeled kitchen they helped get things back to a normal as quickly and as smoothly as possible. Call them if you need help and compassion at stressful times to ease the stress!

I was referred to UCR by a colleague because major repairs were needed to 3 apartments. I've been very impressed with the high level of professionalism, responsiveness and customer service by those I've been in contact with especially Licia Ciotti. She has gone above and beyond in assisting with the scheduling and coordination of tasks. I HIGHLY recommend UCR to anyone in need of restoration and cleaning services.

I have worked with Licia for a few years now. She has done work for me at some of my properties. The work was done on time and professionally. I would use them again if needed.

I worked with Mike Leone and he kept in close contact as the project moved forward. If I expressed a concern he addressed it and made sure corrections were to my liking. The work was completed in a timely manner and his follow up ensured we were satisfied.

United Cleaning & Restoration helped come up with the design and then the demo and installation for both of my bathrooms. The tile work, plumbing, and everything in between is some of the best I’ve seen and made a stressful project into a painless one. The team was always responsive and I couldn’t be any happier with the outcome of our cool and modern bathrooms! In fact, United Cleaning came back to help on a window project, which of course, came out super awesome!

I have dealt with United Cleaning and Restoration for the past 5 years. I am in the property management industry. They are by far the best company to use from Catastrophic situations and cleaning up to rebuilds. Their prices are fair and work is impeccable. Their employees are the best in the industry as well as empathetic and understanding. Licia Ciottis attention to detail and follow up far exceeds any other Representatives of other companies that I have used in my 27 year career. They respond to your needs 24 hours a day seven days a week. They are the best in their industry.

My wife and I had a pipe burst during the cold weather , our insurance company dispatched United Cleaning & Restoration to handle the clean up and damage ... from start to finish the crew from United were excellent .. they were there when they said they would be and did a excellent job getting our home back to normal .. I left for work one Friday morning, only to get a call that the neighbor set the condos on fire while cooking. I came back home to find that my entire townhouse would need to be gutted from the fire, smoke and water damage. Enter United Cleaning and Restoration. From the very beginning, they handled this devastating event with professionalism and care. Licia explained the full process and what to expect and was always available to answer questions. I left the scene in a state of shock with the clothes on my back and yet confident that UCR would take care of things for me. I went back to the condo the very next morning and met the UCR crew and the dry cleaner and began the clean-up process. They were amazing to work with. They were thorough and kind and not only began the clean-up process but handled several mini-meltdowns that I had throughout the day. All of my belongings were either processed and itemized as damaged or carefully boxed up to be sent for cleaning and storage. They made a difficult time easier to bear. I have recommended UCR many times since that day and will continue to do so.

After a devastating house fire, the people at United Restoration went above and beyond to put our house back together. The house needed to be completely gutted and rebuilt on the inside. There was excellent communication and discourse as to the best way to complete repairs. Excellent craftsmanship was key. All of the employees involved in our house restoration were caring, compassionate and very professional. All went above and beyond the call to help us during this difficult time.

After major flooding (burst pipes), UC&R was recommended to handle repairs. Initial project manager was terrible, but he was terminated and replaced by a fantastic, thorough, helpful, (add a dozen more superlatives here) project manager/hands-on worker and miracle maker, Shaun. Get UC&R and Shaun and you can’t go wrong....

(For the record, my repairs were over $150,000 so I got to know Shaun and team real well. This isn’t a recommendation based on a trivial project.)

I dont usually write reviews but my experience with this company has been nothing less than HORRIBLE and I believe others should know. The project managers only focus was to do repairs with the cheapest material possible and charge premium price. I made several requests for receipts and price estimates of the work to be done by him and his subcontractors but never received. This contractor proceed to do the work then charged double the price. When the project manager suggested i could save money (thousands) by not having my floors replaced and I would get a refund on the work. (Insurance money) I took thay advice and save thousands. Boy was that a trick!!!! The project managers only focus after that was getting that entire insurance check. Without my even going over budget. He took the savings and started charging me for work he DID NOT perform on top doubling the price for work he did perform. And left me with approximately nothing from my thousands in floor savings. Guess that's why he made the suggestion all of it went in his pocket. MY SUGGESTION IS DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will steal from people who they think can't count and probably the elderly whom just don't know.
