Louie has been instrumental in helping me figure out my roofing and gutter issues pertaining to my home. I wanted to like them but after nearly 2 years of trying to get them to talk to me about what was going on with my roof and my insurance claim I finally got a roof. Every step of the way was a 2-3 week delay of response. I wanted to know the cost of new gutters ? 2 weeks for a quote I wanted to discuss the extra charges on the bill 2 weeks. I had an issue with the quality of work? 2 weeks. They were supposed to come back out and address some parts with the gutter guards and damaged Siding still haven't heard back once they got that final check they were done it seems. I was also trying to get a roof vent installed and still haven't gotten anything back on that even 4 weeks later. The owner seems to want to do a good job but his communication and his companies is the worst I've seen. It took awhile with insurance and they had to jump though a lot of hoops which I appreciated but it was ruined by them dropping the ball for at least a year and then never calling back when they said they would. Not once or twice but literally over a dozen times.

Louie was wonderful to work with. He is very knowledgeable and gets the job done. The team was very prompt and thorough with my roof leak.

I had reached out to Irving from a real estate group on Facebook to see if he could give us a quote. He came out the next day which was nice and provided me a quote. I then had questions about the quote and couldn’t get a response until I made a Facebook post looking for a roofer in the same group and he said he’d be happy to help. I explained he had been out and never responded to messages. He messaged back and apologized for not responding but still never answered our questions. I was hoping to give him another chance to sell to us but unfortunately not getting a response for the 2nd time made me look elsewhere.

So thankful for their quick response and honest solutions! We noticed a leaky spot on our bedroom ceiling during the extreme rainfall in April ‘25 and called United Contracting to inspect the roof for damage. They scheduled Irving to come out the next day and he immediately spotted the issue- we needed rain collars and new sealant on all our pipes. Very professional, knowledgeable, and now everything looks great! Thanks so much!

Louie identified the problem that was causing intermittent leaks around my house exhaust pipe. He advised to replace it and put out a proposal. His crew came over and replaced the pipe boot and put in ice/water seals to address the leak. He was professional and quick to respond throughout the process. If there is a roof issue, I will definitely call Louie.

After a subpar “roof inspection” by a big name competitor (who just flew a drone over our house), I am very impressed with Irving and United Contracting. Irving was excellent with communication, took time to understand our concerns, and thoroughly inspected our roof and attic. The repair work was performed in a reasonable period of time, and the installer (Alejandro) did an excellent job. I definitely recommend Irving, Alejandro and United Contracting.

Had a roof leak. Louie Leger called me back the same day I reached out to United Contracting. He came out to my house and assessed the issue same day as well. The job was quoted, scheduled and completed within a week and half. Satisfied with the work.

We've had animals in the attic that broke through the soffit. Irving came out the same day I called and repaired the soffit quickly. He even did a cursory look around to make sure we hadn't missed any spots. Would recommend.

Louie and his team did a great job on repairing my gutter which was damaged due to the winter storm, and the finished product looks great! They were thorough and even returned to install a few elbows they missed. The scheduling process took some follow-up on my end, but once the work was scheduled, everything was completed efficiently and within the expected timeframe. Overall, I’m satisfied with the quality of their work.

Louie was here next day to evaluate the gutter job and provide a quote. Crew was onsite a couple days later and project completed. Price was fair and the work was excellent. Very easy to do business with.

Unity of East Louisville had a problem of leak in roof that caused inside water damage. Louie was quick in responding with estimate and then quick and efficient in doing the roof repair. Although this was a relatively small job, they had done a much bigger roofing job for us a few years before and we knew it would be done right and at a good price. What a great company! My insurance agent recommended them to me, and I have nothing but good things to say about the whole team. But my shout-out goes to Irving Garrido. He was my go-to person for my roofing needs recently which involved wind and hail damage to not just my house but also to my rental. He spent many hours on the roofs of these two houses that needed repairs to satisfy a new insurance company that I began using. We texted and emailed, and he phoned to update me on the progress of the claims. There are so many issues when dealing with insurance, and Irving knows what he's doing. He's extremely professional and knows how to talk to claims adjusters showing a lot of experience in roofing and insurance claims. These 2 houses presented many obstacles in being completed, but I had total trust in Irving. And on top of it all, he's just a plain nice person. Besides confidence in him, the roofing team does excellent work. I will definitely use them again, if needed, but also highly recommend United Contracting and Irving Garrido.

After the recent snow and ice started melting and refreezing, our gutters started to unattach from the house. Louie responded immediately and came out to assess and give us an estimate. The workers did a great job reattaching the gutters. Everyone was very friendly and thr price was fair. I'll definitely be calling again for future work on the house.

This in addition to the recent review on our gutters. Louie and his team once again went above and beyond repairing our chimney on the house we recently moved in to. We knew it needed to be addressed as per our inspection report but we didn't realize just how very bad it was. If we waited to much longer I have a feeling that the chimney may have collapsed. It by no means was cheap and our savings are saying "Uncle" but it looks as if the job was done quite well. Will definitely be contacting them for an annual inspection to keep my home maintained. Highly recommended. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable.

From start to finish this was the best experience we’ve have ever had remodeling. Louie was so helpful during the initial process, went over every option, talked us through insurance claims, and was communicative throughout. During installation Manny was on site the whole time to supervise, provided updates, pictures, asked for feedback when any questions arose, and oversaw cleanup. The team worked so hard and did such a high-quality, professional installation of roof, gutters, and siding. Friday afternoon during the heavy rain from Helene we discovered water running inside around a transom window over an exterior door. We called United Contracting at 2 pm. They returned our call within 2 minutes. They advised they were working other emergencies but would come by that day even if it was late. The tech arrived 3 hours after our call, determined the cause of the leak and provided a report and estimate by 7 pm. Since our HOA has worked with them before, the tech offered to send the estimate directly to our HOA property manager as well. We are familiar with the quality of their work and highly recommend United Contracting.

Wow! Where do I start? Affordable, reliable, and thorough roofers! They had to replace some wood under shingles and their cuts were perfect and alignment straight. Communication via photos and videos were impressive and showed the roofing process in its entirety. Other companies should take note, this is how you do business.

United Contracting LLC is probably the easiest recommendation I can make. The level of customer service that they provided went above and beyond my expectation. It began when I reached out through their online submission form needing a quote for a leaky roof from storms that had come in. I submitted the form around 4:30 PM on a Friday expecting a response on Monday. I got a response at about 6PM that someone would be out the next day. The next day Tate came out and tarped the roof and worked with me dealing with my insurance to make sure that since the shingle was no longer produced that they would cover replacing the entire roof. Tate continued to check in with me while that process was ongoing and was there when the adjuster was out to view the damages. After the adjuster agreed, Tate worked with me to get the shingles ordered and got me scheduled for the install about two weeks after the adjuster had finalized the repair quote. The install was done in a single day and it wasn't too disruptive from a noise perspective. They cleaned up the yard and driveway after and gave me updates throughout the day on the progress. After the install Tate worked with me on getting the second insurance check for recoverable depreciation and when it came time for payment for the job, he stopped by to pick up the check instead of me having to mail it in. This is the level of customer satisfaction all companies should strive for. They have set a high bar for customer satisfaction and quality of the work they provide. I am thankful for the recommendation I got to use them and will continue to pass on that recommendation to anyone needing roof work done in Louisville or Lexington.

The first time I used them for some minor sidding repair and I was in contact with Rene and was so satisfied that I decided to use them again! Unfortunately this time was not so good!!! Had them come out for quote was told they be here at one time but was hour late then after I got a quote was told they were two weeks out do to recent storms witch I understand but they tried to squeeze me in and told me they would be at my house between 4/5 unfortunately around 6 I text the guy I was dealing with and asked for him to set a day due to I had things I needed to do that evening but was not greeted with the professionalism I was hoping for he was very irritated about it. I explained that I’ve had these issues from the start of this project and I wanted a date but like everything else with this I get a text 3 days later saying they would be out here the next day with no time to prepare for them. Then I get a text today at 630 in the morning saying the would be here around 2 depending on how the other jobs went I was like ok great but they showed up at 9 am. The workers that came out were very nice and good at there job unfortunately the scheduling side was extremely bad. For quality I recommend but customer service was by far the worst and due to that never will use them again.

I received a quote for all new siding, gutters, soffits, fascia and window wrap that was right in line with several other quotes I received but I went with them based on reviews and the following info they said they would do.

They started the project on time and it lasted for about 4/5 days. Day 4 was a long day and day 5 was more of a walk off / punch list. I love the fact that you have 1 go-to person that owns your project and are able to get live updates/ pictures at your request because they are there on site from start to finish. No up front cost either was a no brainer from a customer point of view.

I had United do a stone siding installation to block off an attached garage door to finish off a garage to family room renovation. They had to install stone siding and make modifications to the brick and vinyl siding to make the garage door deletion look like it was never there. They did a great job and the communication from both Scott and Paul was excellent. There was a small miscommunication initially but they truthfully did whatever it took to make me happy. Great overall, I would definitely recommend them. (I already recommended them to my next door neighbor for roof work.)
