UMI does amazing kitchen, bathroom and full house remodeling in Seattle. I hired them as a General Contractor for a house II bought in Burien. To my dismay the repairs needed were very extensive because carpenter ant damage was uncovered. UMI went to work, repaired and replaced all of it with minimal disturbance to me. Their crew was timely, efficient and fortunately affordable so I recommend them fully without any reservations.

I had a fairly large basement remodel (complete teardown and reconstruction). Over the course of 2.5 months I experienced an outstanding lack of communication, sometimes weeks without any indication of next steps or status. I asked multiple times to see my schedule so that I could plan accordingly, however, ended up just getting used to workers showing up at any point with no warning. I will not be hiring UMI for further projects and am unable to recommend them to any friends or family.

The work done by Urban Maintenance was done well and, even better, the follow up in answering my questions was really timely and addressed all my questions. Customer service and Deana at office get an A plus.

Urban Maintenance updated my 18 year old kitchen. We took it down to the walls and floor. They did sheet rock work, electrical, plumbing, installed a new composite floor, did all the finish work, installed appliances and put in a new door. The most fun was to watch the install of the quartz counters. One of the pieces was about 1000 lbs! The contractors were all very nice, professional and accommodating. I received their information from a realtor friend who has used them in the past. I would definitely recommend them and when I need some more work done I will contact them.

I highly highly recommend UMI. If it wasn’t for them, I would not be sitting in my remodeled place writing this review. They came in promptly when no one else would meet my time frame or budget. Their experience and knowledge, as well as their entire team, produced an outstanding result to my older home. Besides the outstanding construction end, they are respectful, concerned to get it right as well as professional, and so very kind. Recently I had a emergency with my home and when I called in for help, Deana and Michael were there in a heartbeat to help me. I truly am so grateful to have Urban Maintenance in my life. I know all of this is possible because of their dedication and knowledge. I am rest assured knowing that even after the project is done, they are just a phone call away. I truly found my dream team. We had a master bedroom suite remodeled, and have been very disappointed in our results. The project took waaay longer (over a year) than projected. Much of the electrical has had to be redone or is still not functioning (no expertise in LED lighting available). Our pocket door had to be redone. The wall finish was far from the level 5 we paid for. Our vanity was pulling off the wall and had to be modified for the drawers to close. The tile subs did a great job, though.
