I highly recommend Tru North Construction! My roof was recently replaced and it looks great as you can see. Lorin, Alex and their crew are kind, competent and thorough. I am so glad to have gotten this work done during a weather break in November, before the worst of the winter weather! Thank you so much!

Alex is awesome! He knocked on our door and let us know he did windows and he offered to give us a bid. He showed us some of his work and told us about the warranty. The communication with Alex and Lorin was great. They answered every question we had right away. And the installers did a great job. They always looked so happy. Kudos to all of you for the great experience. We love our new windows!

I encountered this TrueNorth Construction van today on Marine Drive. The two men cut me off and then proceeded to flip me and my daughter off. This is a horrible company with no morals. Very unsafe and not professional by any means, the young man that was driving the Van is very dangerous. Please be careful when working with true North construction.

Our first contact with TruNorth was with Alex Castleberry. He returned calls and later arrived to give us an estimate for replacing the roof. He was straight forward about the cost without giving us an exceptionally high estimate, then giving reductions for various causes. We appreciated his direct presentation and decided to go with his estimate which was nearly the same as other estimates. He was then here the first day of roof work to insure things were correct, and again later in the process. The roofing crew was very good and efficient during the process, even continuing to work on one very wet day. When the work was ending Loren arrived with a drone to give us a review of the completed roof which was well done. All in all, a very good job!

I used Tru North Construction, LLC for gutters and roofing. Loren was prompt, efficient and amazing. He did such great work and I would recommend him to anyone looking for qualify, efficient and amazing work! I used them for a roof and gutters in Lincoln City and I am sooo impressed with the work. I would recommend Tru North Construction in a heart beat. I spoke to several contractors and Lorin Lynch was the very best. I had one guy quote double what Lorin did…. Lorin called me right away, explained what we were dealing with on our roof and quoted a fair price. Plus he is certified to install a membrane roof with a lifetime warranty. We started seeing damp spots on the ceiling, had no clue we had that amount of dry rot up there. His guys got it fixed inside and out, took out several skylights. It looked amazing and inside was left clean as a whistle. What is even better is he’s out of Newport, local company. Thank you Lorin. I had a lot going on when this happened and you sure took some stress off of me. Thank you so much.

Lorin and team were quick to get in touch and send a bid for our new roof. They gave us several shingle options, completed the job in a timely fashion, and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend!

Tru North replaced my roof in Lincoln City. They were quick to provide a competitive bid, only a couple days after I first contacted them. The roof looks great! It was installed on time and the crew cleared the property of all debris and nails from the old roof.
The owner, Lorin, is easy to work with and responsive via text and phone call. I was happy that he was also available to have his team replace a window in my house as well.

Lorin returned my call and came out to bid our roof job the same day. More importantly, he pointed out just how damaged our roof decking was and pointed out some less-than-ideal materials that had been used in the construction of our roof. It inspired confidence that he called out and quoted materials that were appropriate to the weather Newport experiences.

His crew was able to fit us in as an emergency and replaced the roof decking and roof the same week, during a break in the weather. The crew that came out was great, they worked fast and did a good job at a fair price and were very friendly.

Lorin and his team did an excellent job on our roof, and under a time crunch. While other companies never even returned our calls, Lorin came out to see our problem and had the work scheduled very quickly. The crew were professional and efficient. We are very happy.

Due to the low slope in my roof I needed to replace my roof with a membrane roof. I had at least 6 or 7 estimates. I live on the coast and my old roof had started to come up all across the back of my house, I was getting concerned as it was late in the year and the wind can really blow here and did not want to be roofless! Of all the roofers I talked with, Lorin was the only one that said he would bring some sand bags over and set them on my roof (I was actually very relieved rather I needed them or not) a membrane roof is considerably more expensive than your basic roof and I had to figure out how I was going to pay for a new roof. They weren't the least expensive and they weren't the most expensive, they did a great job in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone.

Never completed the contract, caused damages they never repaired or paid for, lied about returning to complete the work and why the job was taking twice as long as promised. Lorin's site manager was very nice and apologetic but Lorin was an arrogant male chauvinist pig who thinks his body building makes him better than everybody else and that it is more important then his customers. Lorin refuses to answer our calls or address our complaints at all. Filed complaint with CCB and intend to sue to recoup our losses on this terrible experience with a bad contractor.

We were very satisfied with the roofing job done by Tru North Constrution. Lorin gave us a bid and the crew did the work sooner and quicker than we thought possible. They did an excellent job and it was a pleasure working with Lorin.

These guys seriously rescued me. Had a huge leak show in my house during the storms and these guys were at my house within an hour and Ace got it patched up great. He was the consumate professional! I am super grateful and appreciative. They are super knowledgeable, friendly,

We install according to warranty speculations to uphold our certification, as well as your product warranty. That is with OC, Gaf, GE silicone, IB and Melarkey.

To recap on the last review. We communicated clearly with the General Contractor about the IB product we had laid for Peters deck. The GC had heaters drying the sheeting out. The GC said the deck was good for us to apply our product. Our team inspected the deck. Our team applied IB pvc decking according to SOP. Two days later the decking bubbled. We sent a team immediately out to inspect. Our team communicated to the GC that we are sending photos and will be in contact with our IB Tech Chad from IB headquarters, so we can insure we have an exact resolution. We were discussing if the application in October weather from going to 70 degree - 40degree day could have caused the shrinking and expanding too quickly . (Oregon Coastal conditions).

The home owner was upset and called. I Lorin, communicated with the homeowner. I explained that I communicated with the GC and updated the homeowner on the process. I explained that they have a warranty and we honor the warranty. We will make sure everything is taken care of and made right. I explained the process and order of the operation that is taking place.

We also explained that we would have a team arriving the following week. I explained the communication with my tech. I received emails from IB. We communicated to the team what IB wanted. Made sure there was closed loop communication.

The homeowner sent a letter from his lawyer stating the dates that the deck needed to be accomplished. I reiterated to the GC and homeowner that team coming as planned. We fulfilled our word and did exactly what we said.

On a brand new build it can be very challenging to have a homeowner and a GC communicating their needs.

This was an emergency job that we jumped on to help the GC out.

This company is definitely not recommended: They did a poor job on our decks. After a few days, bubbles formed because the film was applied incorrectly. We complained and the owner of the company denied having done a bad job. Allegedly, the material was to blame. The communication with our general contractor and with us as customers was arrogant, indifferent and cheeky. It was only when our lawyers wrote letters that the company came and repaired the membrane. Hands off, there are better companies.

New roof and gutters installed on my coast house, from first contact to completed roof was one month. They work much faster than the competition.

I was in great need of a new roof, so I got four quotes. Before any negotiations, Tru-North's bid was, by far, the clear winner. I did have one small issue after the job was finished. I sent one email to Lorin about it, and much to my amazement his team was there within the same day to address my concerns! I highly recommend Tru-North.

The company did a great job and did everything we asked. The owner always answered his phone when we called. A great company to have work done.

After having re-roofing on my manufactured home it turned out to be not well done. I then called Lorin and had him come do an inspection. There were a lot of errors done by the company I paid to do it. Then had Lorin and his crew put a new roof on my back porch. Excellent job done by his courteous employees. Recommend them highly. This is a professional company. BEWARE OF WHO YOU EMPLOY. I LEARNED THE HARD WAY.

Lorin and his team at TruNorth have been excellent to work with! After having terrible luck with finding contractors, I found Lorin. They did our roof replacement as well as rebuilding a deck. We have the next deck scheduled for June to replace. Great guys, good work and overall reliable. Would absolutely recommend. Familiar with ocean weather extra repairs.
