One of the easiest and overall best auto purchase experiences I’ve ever experienced. My salesperson, Damian, was nothing short of fantastic, and Ken in finance was every bit as good. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone locally, and as in my case, a 2 plus hour drive away(well worth the drive).

Bought a car and off the bat there was issues a few I did fix my self and then a even bigger issue arrived but I will say they are aiming to solve the issue and I find that awesome and very appropriative just very stressful buying a car and not everything work properly that it said in description. I gave 4 cause issue isn’t fixed and also at first when called about the issue I as givin attitude about it like I was my fault I won’t say who but they are still fixing it that’s what matters I will be keeping 4 stars in hopes that they aim for more 5 stars and even with the stress be on the side of customers
Visiting the Oregon Coast from our home in Arizona. Our air conditioning failed on the trip. Power GMC checked out the problem, ordered a part and the following week fixed us up. Very professional service. Not cheap but quality service never is. Our trip back to Arizona was cool and comfortable because of their fine work. Thanks to the whole service crew at Power GMC!
On vacation in Oregon, my Cadillac quit running. Towed car to the dealership and they diagnosed the part needed and ordered it. Picked car up and paid the bill $200
more than quoted, then found out on trip home that passenger front seat didn't work. It worked before they replaced the main fuse box. Came home had my local GMC dealership look at the problem and found that that POWER GMC IN OREGON HAD NOT INSTALLED THE SEAT WIRE PROPERLY. SO I HAD TO SPEND ANOTHER $225. TO REPAIR THERE EFFORT AT REPLACING THE FUSE BOX.
Went in to look at an F-150 and it was NOT in "ready to sell" condition. They didn't tell me beforehand that the windshield was cracked from top to bottom or that the only keyfob was broken. The truck needed an alignment and the engine sounded like it needed some major repairs. They were asking top dollar for this truck too (over kbb value) and low balled me on my trade-in value. Bought several cars from them over the years but they probably lost my business forever over this disaster.
I was connected to a salesman to help me find a car. After a few texts back and forth he stops responding. A week goes by so I get ahold of another salesman and have a car picked out. He has me apply for it. I get the notification they run my credit and waited two days and didn’t hear back from them. Even after texting and asking if they had any news yet. So I call again and they promise to call me back before they close. Nothing. So one more time I call again but this time they can’t find my application (they already ran my credit). I do another application with someone else. We go over terms. They were supposed to call me back again today to finalize everything. Haven’t heard from anybody. So unprofessional and such a waste of my time

I was not sure if im buying a car that day but damian was very patient and helpful finding a car i need. He is knowledgeable and honest about cars issues. Anyway so far my honda still running excellent .

I can not say enough good things about these guys! I tried to puchase a new car in Utah, and long story but they lied to me multiple times. I found the car that I wanted at Power GMC Chevrolet and called and ended up buying it sight unseen. Tim has been overly helpful (even when I was an idiot and required him to send me the documents 2 times cause Im a flip flopper haha). I will be flying up there next week to pick up the car and not only were they willing to help me get a ride from the airport (2.5 hours away!!!) But Tim is willing to drive the car to me to cut 4 hours out of our return drive time. I will 1000% be telling my family and friends that if they need a car to call Tim directly.

Took my zr2 in to get brakes, picked it up the next day got a bill for diagnostics and was told I needed another appointment to get the brakes done . Recommended new rotors and pads. When I dropped it off I told them about clunk in front end the front axels were clunking up and down in the cv joints. Truck under warranty.picked it up following day. Got billed for new rotors but it was obvious that they had been turned AND they put in a new anti sway bar and bushings billed $1700. Because I hadn't mentioned it was under warranty when I dropped it off. Which they should know because I had just bought the truck there a year before. Asked for the defective parts and they gave me the anti sway bar which still looked brand new. They would or could not show me the rotors or bushings. Could figure why the truck would need new rotors at a year old and had never even been turned. So took the truck to a brake shop had the rotors measured and they were 4 different thicknesses and one had been turned max amount. I reinstalled my old sway bar and took new one back and demanded my money back. They returned money with no explanation as to why they changed it. They would not cop to ripping me off on the rotors and bushings even with evidence they were not needed. I had also asked them to do the 50000 mile factory recommended change of all fluids but they told me that wasn't needed. Even though it's factory recommended and probably a stipulation of my warranty. Sales staff were great but if you can't get honest service what good is that? Gave 1 star because negative stars was not an option.
Bought a mini van a little bit more than a year ago or so for 6k and after another few grand two radiator repairs and several other repairs it's been a head seal or crack in the head the head needed rebuild or a new motor and they sold it way over priced anyway not at all a satisfied customer total lemon . Going to respectfully decline the invite to get ahold of you I have nothing left to spend spent it on this van and I couldn't get a cent for this van you could offer me 9k 10k trade in and I would have to decline. I have been involved in the auto industry since I was 19 years old, and I am now 70. This is the nicest team of people, and one of the nicest dealerships that I have ever encountered.
Piss poor experience. My son bought a 2015 Chevy Colorado Z71. I warned him to not buy from here. He did anyway and pretty much had the same experience. I bought a 2007 Jeep Wrangler that just came out of the Service department. The Jeep ended up with a bad EGR, bad cats, and the coil pack was not bolted back on.
My sons 2015 Colorado made it to Florence and started squealing and grinding when he stopped at a light. Checked it out and the brakes were paper thin. The calipers in back were bad. One side, the piston in the caliper was all broken and the other side looks like it was welded on. Also the AC doesn’t work.
Before my son bought it, the salesman promised it was gone thru. He also said they have almost all new more experienced service department. He would not sale a vehicle unless they throughly checked it out.
My son is about to be a dad and wanted something he didn’t have to worry about. I changed the brakes and calipers, because he was afraid to drive and had to be in Portland the next day.
The lights a manger said they would reimburse for the coat of pads and the calipers but not the AC. I guess it’s on my son for choosing a horrible place to buy a car.
I really only like American cars, but I will give it to Newport Toyota. My dad had bought a new Toyota Tacoma and the sales misinformed my dad. They offered to take the truck back if he wanted. The salesman was honest and trustworthy unlike Newport Power Chevrolet. So disappointed

I called today 12/28/2023 and spoke with service writer “Mark” with concerns about a possible new oil leak on our 2021 GMC Yukon Denali. I had just purchased he week before Christmas taken it into Puyallup GMC for its 50-60k service so I was concerned the oil filter or drain plug was possibly a little loose. Mark had one of his master technicians diagnosed the leak and found both the filter and drain plug was tight so he continued his diagnosis and found two oil pan bolts were slightly loose. He took the time to tighten them up while another tech cleaned off the transmission fluid that sprayed on the exhaust and undercarriage. They all went above and beyond my expectations and hopefully fixed the issue. I highly recommend New Port GMC to anyone traveling thru New Port or residents of New Port.
Thank you for your professionalism and caring to give me and my family peace of mind while we’re vacationing in Newport.

*Update* 1/10/24 Absolutely disappointed and furious at the same time when they upcharge me for the original bid to do the engine come to find out they use my original spark plugs off a 89 Chevy. That's been sitting for 18 years. There are rusty and you can see the photos.
They have officially lost my business, not having accurate quotes, their "technician" (Dustin) seeing a leak in my transmission seal (not letting me know or giving me the option to replace it while they just put a brand new engine in my vehicle quote from $7600 all the way to 10k, then week later oil sensor went out, they didn't replace, now my transmission went out 2 weeks ago and they finally replaced the seal but oh "that'll be about $4500 for a new one". They're a place where they secure they recurring business. Asking around everyone says the manager there is a dbag even when he worked at les schwab.
Due to flooding on the coast I had to reschedule my appt. I was able to do this online and I got a text confirmation of new appt. All this at 0600 AM. Great customer service. Thankyou.

I brought my daughter car in due to some ongoing leaking issues. Once I received a quote, I was shocked. It was over $3200.00 to have 5 things done. ($175.00 diagnostic fee, Transmission cooler line, timing cover gasket, and oil pan gasket, and $140 for an oil change.) It felt like such a dramatic price, so I started price checking in the area. I called 5 different shops in a 30-mile radius of Newport. All of them were much cheaper, almost by half the price. I decided to take it to a recommended shop with better customer service and prices. Power GMC was not happy to say the least. After having to pay $175.00 to diagnose the car, I had it moved to the trusted shop. Come to find out that they never used dye to find the leaks. I paid $175.00 for him to look at it with a naked eye and say this is where it's leaking. I called back concerned and asked for the detail inspection on how they concluded this diagnosis. There were no notes, expect located several leaks. The technician never called to talk me through, only was able to communicate with the customer service clerk. Overpriced and lack of understanding on how they come to their conclusion. Get second opinions. Call around! Be careful with them... they seem very shady!

Just got my gmc Denali back after two months. I brought it in and told them to fix everything so I can drive it again. They made no attempt to contact me and let me know where we were at with my truck. I initiated every call and stopped in a time or two. $4500 later when I get it home and open up the hood my son in law noticed the serpentine belt is split completely down the center. How did y’all miss that??? Honestly the customer service sucked. Hopefully I can drive her soon.
Update three days after I brought her home the brand new battery is dead which was the number 1 reason brought it in. It would not hold a charge...

Folks this dealership is a joke! They will lie and lie again to sell you a car. Stay away from Ken can't miss him the old fat one, has no. Morals, will promise the moon and screw you at the same time. We are taking the car back. I could go on and on ,they are liars!. Go to another dealership.

Don't walk, RUN as far away from this place as possible. Every repair this car needs comes to thousands of dollars, and after the last repair, the car had smoke coming from the engine less than a week later. This place is terrible and you'll regret getting g a car from here. I'm almost certain this place is a scam.
This company gave me a lemon and won’t admit to it. When the car was first given to me, the check engine light came on. They took it back and said they fixed it, but when I got the car back the light come on again. They checked it a second time, “fixed it” and then on getting it back…the light was on again. At this point they asked if I could take it to an auto place and have it scanned to find the problem because “They weren’t able to scan it.” I felt like they asked me to do their job and also, an auto shop that can’t scan the car? This is hard to believe. I had it scanned and it turned out the catalytic converter was missing. Three attempts at fixing it, and they couldn’t see that this was missing? The car went back to have this fixed, came back…aaaaand a few weeks later, the light came on again. At that point they were told they sold us a lemon. They told us this car that constantly needs fixing was not a lemon. I guess always needing to pay for repairs is a feature? I’ve lost count of how many times this car has had problems and had to get repairs. Nothing wild is being done to the car. I drive to work and the store. It’s not like I’m driving through horrible terrain or making a cross country trip every week. But this car that I was told was “like new” is the worst vehicle I’ve ever been in. Right now I’m afraid to drive it because now it likes to shake when idle which could be an engine issue. Maybe Chevrolet doesn’t know how to build cars, or maybe this dealership just doesn’t care what condition the cars they sale are in.
I would HIGHLY recommend staying away from this dealership. A claim has been sent to the consumer protection act for lemon cars on the issues I’ve had with the junk they sold me, but I’m not expecting to hear back on that for a long time. For now I’m stuck with this god awful car that I consider lucky if it evens starts. If the check engine light wasn’t constantly on that in itself would be a miracle that I would consider near holy. Honestly, look elsewhere for a vehicle. This place has no idea what it’s doing.
UPDATE: Just want to add. The faulty car these company sold us is now going through repairs that'll cost over $3000, will take about 17 days to fix, and it could be for an issue that was always there because like I told power Chevrolet, the check engine light was staying on and this was most likely why.
For the love of God, do not get a car from this company. I am regretting it every day. They'll sell you something without an engine if they could and then ask why YOU took out the engine.
Got a truck from Randall was a great experience they had the truck I had been wanting for a bit and I was busy at work Randall got things rolling over the phone quickly and got me an awesome deal. I live over an hour away fr the dealership and he waited for me to get there and closed the deal with no issues. Also made sure I had gas in it so I didn't have to stop on my way home. Amazing group of people would most definitely recommend buying from them. But be warned of the service area not so good
