I needed my roof done, couldn't get anyone to call me back -- except Tri State Roofing. AJ responded quickly, explained the estimate and timelines, and even suggested that I could probably have the storm damage covered by home owner's insurance. He was right. The quote was already reasonable, having some of it covered by insurance made it even better. They also offered flexible payment options.

I had to be patient because the work was done in the winter, and storms/snow delayed the work twice. AJ let me know in advance about the changes. They were also patient because working with my insurance took more time than I thought it would.

When the day arrived, they showed up and did the roof, slick as that. As someone else said, you wouldn't even know they'd been here except the roof looks great and hasn't leaked since.

Good communication, good deal, easy to work with, highly recommend.

I called Tristate roofing for an estimate for replacing some shingles that have fallen off over the winter. Rene was very polite and timely with a response via call, the crew was delightful to talk with and very hard working. For anyone who needs a free estimate, roof replacement or some small repairs Tristate is the roofing company for you!

I am completely satisfied with my new roof from Tristate, with the process, and with the professional attitude that Rene brings to the work. From the beginning he was respectful, he helped me through the insurance claim process. and he was responsive when I needed to communicate with him. My insurance company covered part of the new roof, which Tristate installed efficiently and to my specifications. Thank you, Rene.

We are so impressed with TriState Roofing!!! Rene is exceptionally responsive, and follows thru on all commitments. We have a large 200+ year old house and barn and we’re dreading the expense. After receiving multiple quotes and expecting that we would have to break the project into two parts (barn vs house), we saw a sign for TriState on two neighbors houses. We called, received a call back immediately and scheduled appt the next day.

Rene’s team showed up and we got a quote on the spot which was much more affordable than other quotes - and recommendations from prior customers were very strong.

We decided to go ahead with entire project which was scheduled and completed with 10 days - including ordering materials.

Two years later… we are still
thrilled and highly recommend Rene and his crew. Fast, affordable and exceptional quality along with respect and responsiveness!

I reached out to Tri-State by text on August 11th and was not responded to. My first telephone call to René was on August 12, 2024. I'll be clear that job was NOT for roofing but was for siding. He said he was in Rockland and would drive by and then give me an estimate. After not hearing from him throughout the following week, I reached out to him via text on August 19th and noted:

"My tenant mentioned that you went by my property last week. Will you have a quote for me soon or have you decided to not move forward?"

I am ok with a vendor not taking the job. I am NOT ok with a vendor not responding after a week of opportunity to either: 1) Provide a quote, or 2) let me know he's not interested.

Neither happened. A simple 30 text would have would have been satisfactory and would have resulted in a 5 star comment.

I would also note that as of today, 8/31/2024, I have still not heard from René.

I'm sad that I'm sharing this experience as I prefer to share great experiences. This was not one.

Be thoughtful when you engage this vendor.

We had a large tree fall on our house. We had trouble finding anyone to give us an estimate for the replacement of our roof. Rene at Tri State Roofing was recommended to us. He had the roof done in 1 day. His workers were very efficient. Rene even dealt with our insurance company! I would highly recommend him and his crew! We are very satisfied!

Roofing was done on time and completed the same day. So far roof looks good and time will tell. There were many many nails left on the driveway. They told us they had cleaned up but we asked that they come back snd they did and so many additional nails were picked up! We have been waiting for weeks for a copy of our estimate and most importantly our receipt for payment. They came to the house to pick up the check. We need this receipt to complete our insurance claims. Calls, emails and no response!!

Their fixed bid roofing estimate beat all others in pricing, and the quality of their workmanship was impeccable. Hardworking, honest, and very communicative. Be prepared to be pleased by René and his crew.

Tri State replaced our roof yesterday. A crew of seven (six roofers and a gopher) arrived at 7:30 in the morning and they were ready to begin cleanup and detailing by 2pm (including installation of new ice and water shield; synthetic underlayment; IKO Leading Edge Plus, aluminum drip edge; and 25 squares of Owens Corning TruDuration Architectural Shingles
). I kept tabs on the project from beginning to end and I'd say a fair description of the crew would be "efficient" rather than just "fast". Detail oriented with no short cuts. Really pleased with the cleanup too.

Tri State does excellent work on time and at a reasonable price. They stripped off the old roofing and did a thorough job of disposing of the old roofing. I highly recommend you call them I am certainly glad I did.

I recently had my home refinanced and in the process, I needed to have my roof replaced. I called multiple roofers and I couldn’t even get a call back let alone get my roof replaced. A friend suggested Tri-State Roofing. I called Rene and left yet another message. To my surprise, he called me back with in minutes. Came to my home the next morning. He inspected the roof and had a quote to me the next day. A few days later, his crew showed up and had it done in a day! They worked through the rain because Lee was headed our way. They found a few issues that were not known, fixed them, and just kept working to get it done.
They finished and had the job site completely cleaned up. You never would have known they were there.
Rene came a few days later to collect his dump trailer and we discussed the extra repairs and he didn’t even charge me for them!
I am extremely happy with the results, how timely the work was done, they were very reasonable, and his guys were top notch!

We hired Tristate roofing for our project in Islesboro Island, They were on time, the group was great & I highly recommend Tristate Roofing.

We hired Rene and his crew to install a roof that required shingles and rubber roofing. Rene and his team was fast and thorough. Very reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with on the project. Additionally, his crew does the entire job rather than requiring an additional carpenter that comes with an additional expenses and work for the owner.

Tri State Roofing does excellent, high quality work. These guys are very hard-working and conscientious, totally focused and dedicated to their work. I am very impressed and grateful!
