Tresnak Roofing

From start to finish, Tresnak Roofing was the best! They did what they said they would, and the workers cleaned up very well afterwards.

I called Tresnak Roofing on July 1 because I noticed a small leak coming through our garage ceiling. They scheduled a free inspection and estimate on July 2 (unexpected given the holiday week) and set a 1 hour window for arrival. Leo arrived at the start of the window. He advised that he would tell me whether a repair would work or if we would need to replace a face of the roof (i.e., because shingles on a face are layered, trying to fix them usually fails), but not the whole roof. He checked inside the garage, inside the attic and the roof outside. He tested several shingles in the area of concern, discovered a few loose ones and rusted nails, said it was due to age (13 years) not bad installation, and used adhesive to seal the loose shingles down. He didn't try to upsell me.

He was done in 1/2 hour, told me "no charge", and suggested I call back if I noticed any additional problems.

Timely, honest, polite. I highly recommend Tresnak Roofing.

Leo arrived early, inspected the problem areas (and beyond), took photos to show/explain to me the likely location and reason for the water infiltration on my roof. He then caulked the areas in question and advised me to contact him if the problem re-occurred, and he would return for a further investigation. Outstanding service!

recently had our roof done and would recommend Tresnak. They were competitively priced, scheduled us quickly, clear communication with the team members, and they offered a discount for cash payment. We had a mishap with one of our bushes that did not get properly covered and they were very helpful to fix the issue and were very nice and remorseful for the mishap. highly recommend and it’s nice to give business to kind people that stand by their quality.

I am a happy customer. Tresnak just completed my roof and here are my observations:

Competitive pricing. I received multiple quotes and Tresnak was the best value, not lowest price, because the quote included the Landmark pro shingle which is a superior product compared to some of the other roofing quotes I received

Very Organized team. The communication with Prince, Elizabeth, Becca, and Leo was seamless and will organized. They are a great team and I felt informed and questions answered along the way.

Quality work. All of the other roofing companies bragged that they could complete my job in one day. I have a very large and complicated roof and I felt that they were prioritizing speed and money over quality. The Tresnak team of 7 people took 3 days to do my job and they worked hard with 2 -12 hour days. The attention to detail by the team impressed me. The oversight by Leo also was a bonus. He would independently stop by and inspect the work and made sure everything met his standards.

Local and family owned. I always seek out businesses that are local. Tresnak roofing is family run and from Royal Oak.

Tresnick Roofing was referred to us and we couldn't have been more happier . They always communicated with us, we were professional and,courteous .and did a wonderful job of cleaning up. The day after the roof was completed,a supervisor of the job came to inspect the roof too make sure it was done properly. We would highly recommend this company to anyone.

The crew was here early, worked late and did an amazing job! Basically 2 full days to complete a tear off, new roof, gutters and gutter guards. I would highly recommend.

Can’t say enough good things about Tresnak. I have utilized them for multiple jobs across two homes, and recently had them out for a service call, which did not require any work on their part (a non-issue because I was dumb!), and they were extremely kind, considerate and did not charge me a fee or for a service call since there was no issue that required intervention. We had a minor roof leak around our plumbing vent pipe and Tresnak came out the same day to fix it free of charge! Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and helpful, and I would recommend them to anyone in the area!

I selected Tresnak to replace my roof after getting estimates from five different companies. Tresnak wasn’t the lowest estimate, but it was definitely the best overall. Elizabeth and Leo came to the home and provided a very comprehensive estimates for the roof, gutters, and gutter guards - including photos. They were friendly, informative, and showed me examples of roofs they had replaced in my neighborhood.

Becca managed the actual work from beginning to the end, keeping me informed of their schedule. The roofing crew arrived as scheduled and did an excellent job replacing the roof in just one day. The gutter crew came the following day to install the new gutters and gutter guards. Leo returned the next day to inspect the work and answered all my questions.

The only thing I would mention is to be cautious about leftover nails after the project is completed. We found a few hundred nails around the yard. This might be unavoidable, even though I know the crew spent quite a bit of time cleaning up.

Overall, I’m very happy with Tresnak and highly recommend the company.

Amazing service! Had a small leak after a storm that we were very worried about. They came out and did a thorough inspection, walked us through everything and then fixed it for FREE! He even resealed a vent while he was up there just in case. Leo and Elizabeth were very helpful and informative. Cannot recommend them enough!

Absolutely 5/5. We had a minor roof leak during a rain storm - called Tresnak and they were able to come out within a couple days. It turned out to be a relatively quick fix and they happily repaired it and didn’t charge me anything (despite having a minimum project threshold). Could not be happier with the service provided - definitely will be using them for any future roofing needs.

We initially contacted Tresnak to take a look at the flashing between our chimney and our roof. Once they came out, they determined the issue was minimal and likely chimney related. They didn’t charge us and even applied some caulk for free. Throughout the process they were extremely helpful and easy to work with. I’d recommend them if you have roof repair or other roofing needs.

We hired Tresnak Roofing to replace the roof at our swim club. Everyone one we interacted with in the company was friendly. The workmanship was top notch and ultimately Tresnak did what they said they would do in the quote, at cost, and on-time. Also, being a swim club, the clean up is important so there aren’t any errant nails or things like that, and the clean up by Tresnak was excellent.

I seemed to lose more shingles off my garage roof with every strong storm we had this spring. I finally decided it was time to consider a replacement. I got 6 estimates and ultimately chose Tresnak for the job. Their quote was detailed/clear and the price reasonable. They offered good quality materials and a good reputation. When they were finally able to do the work their crew was fast and efficient. I think the whole job took 3 hours. I’m very satisfied with the result.

They came out for an estimate for a roof repair and were on time and friendly. Two weeks later I hadn't heard back from them. So I called twice and finally received a text message, several days later, saying that they weren't interested in the job. I understand if you don't want the work but have the courtesy to say so upfront instead of ghosting me.

We just had our new roof installed by Tresnak Roofing and would highly recommend them. The entire process was very well organized. They did an excellent job of communicating all of the details we needed to know throughout the project. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional.

Our installation went very smoothly. They take extra precautions to ensure there is no damage to the homes exterior. A large crew arrived in the morning and the job was completed before 5. The only sign they had been there was our beautiful new roof. The yard and driveway were spotless.

Tresnak did a good job on a roof shingle repair I had at my prior residence. However, it took a couple of weeks after acknowledgement of the quote request to schedule the appointment. I also do not appreciate them requiring payment on same day the bill was emailed - what if I was busy that day and wasn't able to get to the email right away?

God forbid you even request a quote from them. I no longer own the home in question, but they've been pestering me about a quote I requested on another service I didn't go through with. Telling them to stop the requests (because I no longer own said home) is like spitting into the wind - they just don't stop.

Tresnak helped us patch siding, gutters and trim as part of our roofing job and chimney reconfiguration. They were efficient, fairly priced, and showed up on schedule and on time which we really appreciated. The work looks fantastic! We definitely recommend working with this very patient family-owned and run company!

Revision 1 Star: An architect and carpenter I am working with on rebuilding my garage found that the contractors that Tresnek sent out just placed the gutters into completely rotted fascia board along the backside of the garage, they were supposed to replace all of it. We found way more than I had initially saw myself. I strongly recommend against using Tresnek. I paid nearly $5k for that job and it was not done right.

They're ok, I did like their straight forward pricing, but when it came to the day of installation I guess I was surprised to see a sub-contractor there. The sub contractor didn't replace some rotting fascia board I pointed out (the fascia I pointed out is soft to a touch) and instead put the new gutters into it. I brought this to Tresnek's attention and they seem willing to resolve it.

It was just very disappointing to see a sub-contracted company come out who themselves have very low customer ratings come and do work. At the end of the day the job got done and went mostly well.

We are beyond pleased with our selection of Tresnak!! We had a new roof installed, new siding and gutters. For each project, the crews showed up on time, worked efficiently and were very professional and respectful. The owner Tom Tresnak would come out to the job during each of the phases of installation (roof, siding, gutters) to ensure everything was going the way it should, to see if we had questions and to confirm we were satisfied. Ally is the coordinator and she was very communicative throughout the process as well! Thank you everyone at Tresnak for making this big project to transform our home so seamless!! We appreciate all of you and will definitely recommend you to everyone!
