Tradesman did a wonderful job building a new single slip boathouse and sun deck for us on Lake Logan Martin during the winter of 2025. We had the best experience from the moment we met Jamie C. who guided us through figuring out what we wanted since we are new to lake life. Jamie is just a super nice guy who was with us every step of the way and is a friend now. The company took down our old pier and built a beautiful boat house and deck. No issues, nice people, quality materials, great guidance and a happy customer.

When we initially spoke about building my boathouse, Fred gave a timeline for completion by the end of June. On 6/9 he said that “I’m there on Tuesday weather permitting we are moving the pile drive”… that would have been 6/14.

As of today (7/12) he has not started on my boathouse. The last update from Fred was on 6/17…”moving pretty quickly I’ll keep you posted”. I understand unforeseen delays…all I asked was to keep me updated. Apparently Fred doesn’t see it that way.

They dont do small jobs. Pre paid to have 4 poles driven into river couldnt make it happen.
Was told it would be couple of weeks. When I called about it they said their contractor had pulled his barge out of the lake and move to Tuscaloosa.I didn’t know they subcontracted their pile driving and had no control over their subcontractors.So after three months I ended up having to get my money back and take an alternate route with somebody else.

The very best craftsmanship. Fred it very professional and takes pride in what he does. Margaret and the staff give the best customer service available. Best part is that they stand behind what they do. I would highly recommend.
