Trades of the Triangle did a very professional job. Their crew was courteous, communicated well, ensured they really understood what I wanted and asked very appropriate questions when needed. Their set-up and clean-up was thorough, they only left good quality behind :)

Highly recommend using Trades of the Triangle for any/all home improvement or repair projects that you need handled. We had an issue with the wood base of a pillar on our front porch rotting and falling apart, which caused numerous potential issues. After calling a number of different contractors/handymen, Trades of the Triangle was the only company that offered to take on the work. It took some time for them to find the specific parts, but once they were obtained, the team immediately got back in touch with us for scheduling and was out to perform the repair ASAP. We are very happy with the work and will absolutely be using them again in the future.

The team that rebuilt our staircase were very professional, did excellent work, and took time to listen to us and answer our questions. We asked them to look at a door that needed part of the frame replaced due to rot and they were able to fit that in. I can't recommend them enough.

We worked with Trades of the Triangle to address poor construction on our custom built home. We were extremely impressed with the workmanship and professionalism exhibited by all team members that we worked with. We had drywall repaired, new painting, general carpentry, and electrical work performed. Trades of the Triangle made custom recommendations to address the specific issues for our home and provided transparent and appropriate pricing. We plan to use them for future work if/when the time comes for any repairs or potential remodel work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We had a crawlspace door that needed to be moved about 6 feet down the wall so our new couch wouldn't block it. The quote was very reasonable but after the work was done, the bill was even less (because the time it took for the work was slightly overestimated). I really appreciate this company's honesty and efficiency - not to mention a job well done. Will be using them again.

I hired Trades for Handyman services to help me take care of a few minor tasks that I couldn't do myself ranging from Plumbing and insulation to electrical. The guys were very helpful and friendly. Alex Butorins and his team are not merely expert, conscientious, and fair. Their work is superlative in every respect. They offer suggestions, research alternatives, anticipate problems. I have used them for many projects, major and minor. The results always exceed expectations.

We called TotT do take care of some deteriorating wood trim on the outside of a fireplace. When the got started they found the damage was much more than originally thought. After a good explanation of the issues they re-quoted the work based on the new findings. The work that was done to fix the issue was excellent quality, and the folks doing the work took the time to explain what was being done when it was appropriate. All-in-all a good experience. Will definitely use TotT again when we need this kind of work.

We just had ToT do a bunch of outside repair work to our home. Most was due to water damage. They took their time. Showed up when they promised. And did a fantastic job. The price was reasonable compared to the work done. We have more to do and will certainly have them come back again in the future. Can't recommend them highly enough.

We've now used Trades of the Triangle for a few different home improvement projects and they are just fantastic. They gave us a detailed quote and even made some suggestions on how we could fix things less expensively than we had initially planned, showed up right on time, were super polite, got the work done quickly and well, and explained everything they did. Trades of the Triangle are the BEST! We worked with them to repair water damage due to a burst pipe. Alexander was very clear and thorough with his estimate to repair the damage. Alexander and crew repaired the drywall, removed the popcorn ceiling and painted the walls. It is now the nicest room in the house. I appreciated the attention to detail and making sure that things were done the 'right way.' Trades kept the work spaces neat and tidy. I look forward to working with Trades of the Triangle again.

Alexander and his work crew have done major construction jobs inside and outside of our house over the past four years. The biggest was the expansion and renovation of our kitchen and the replacement of three of our outside decks. Another most challenging project was replacing and rebuilding the footers to an addition to our house that had been poorly constructed by someone else almost 30 years ago. Alexander is scheduled this Spring to do more work on two of our bathrooms and sealing of 3 of our new decks that he constructed. Trades of the Triangle Installed a microwave and did a small repair around a ceiling light fixture plus a larger repair of broken bricks and dislodged bannister on our front steps. Alexander was prompt for the estimate visit, and he had good suggestions about additional work I asked about. His team arrived exactly when predicted.
We would gladly hire Trades of the Triangle again. The only "issue" is that their work calendar is generally full, and you might have to wait to get on the schedule.

We hired this company based on their good reviews. After the way we have been treated, the good reviews baffle us. They seem to have a revolving door of employees who had a habit of littering our yard with drink bottles, cigarette butts, empty cigarette packs, and large piles of dried putty, not to mention lots of unused lumber and our old ceramic sink. We bought all the new sinks, fixtures, etc for this project ourselves. They used a different sink in our mud room, one so small as to be useless. The owner of the company tried to tell us the sink we bought was too big, despite the fact that is was exactly the same size as the old one. We insisted he replace it, and lo and behold, it fit. He told me we would not be charged for the new formica, because their supplier had messed up the order so many times they got it for free in the end. But, he charged us full price for the formica anyway. They left the job unfinished, and I still have towel rings and toilet paper holders to install myself as a result. They did shoddy plumbing work, and when we pointed out the leak in a pipe joint, the owner told me that my wife or I must have knocked it loose after they left. If you ever question anything the owner of this company does, he will argue with you and refuse to admit he is wrong. We received the bill this Monday, and since the price of the parts was more than 10% higher than the estimate, we requested an itemized bill for parts. This caused the owner of the company to lash out at my wife via email. We were told we had until this Saturday to pay the bill. Today is Thursday and my wife received a call from a lien company notifying us that a lien has already been taken out on our house. This is FOUR DAYS after receiving the bill in the first place, and before the supposed (in my opinion unreasonable in the first place) deadline for payment. Do yourself a huge favor, and avoid this company like the plague. I would give them zero stars, but apparently that is not an available option. My wife and I have a history of getting along famously with workers who come to our home. We have given previous crews gifts of farm fresh eggs, as well as our pasture-raised chicken from our freezer. We always treat people who work for a living with respect, and we expect the same in return. We did not receive that from Trades of the Triangle.

My wife and I brought in Trades of the Triangle for some upgrades to both the interior and exterior of a recently purchased 14 year old home. Alex's attention to detail and consultative approach through the design, build, and completion phases of the project(s) was exactly what we were hoping for (and what was missing from some initial bids we received). We are definitely pleased with the work Alex and team did, and are already planning out our next project for them.

I had some siding replaced from wind damage. I knew what to expect and how much to expect because they were up front about everything. The work was done in a timely fashion and it looks great. They were able to color match which was super important to me. I will use this company again for home improvements in the future.

Mr. Butorins and team did a great job in following commitments and getting the job done right. They replaced rotted wood, fascia and roofing in a problem area of my house. They also charged less than the maximum estimate after the issue turned out not to be as serious as originally thought. Highly recommended.

We contacted TotT in fall 2015 about upgrading the kitchen in our rental house. The process went very smoothly apart from some supplier issues, ones that TotT came up with creative plan's B for! The work went well, and continued right through the Christmas and New Year's holidays to meet what turned out to be a challenging deadline. All was done on budget and on time for our new tenants, who love the new kitchen, as do we. Thanks much!!

A tree limb knocked a hole in my home's siding. Trades of the Triangle repaired the hole without any hassle. The work was done correctly the first time, and they took extra care to match the house paint. You can't tell there was a hole in the siding. The crew was very courteous and communicated to me what they were doing while they worked. I am very satisfied with this company and the job they did.

Had some weather damaged windows replaced - I was impressed with how thoroughly the crew assessed the underlying damage, and how careful they were to do the repair right. Will definitely have them back to do additional work.

Very happy with work done to repair rotting wood covering the outside of my fireplace chimney. Found rotted base unde the fireplace insert and fixed it at a reaonabe price. Only disappointed that the hole where rain leaks, causing the problem, was not also fixed. I would use this company again, however.

This was to replace siding on one side of the house. They were not cheap, but I would say they were very reasonable.

They did an excellent job on what we had agreed on, then went on to do other things for which they did not ask compensation: I needed a cabinet trimmed inside; they did it for free. They made a small tear in the screen door; they replaced the entire screen.

Job was good; clean up was good. I have more work to be done and I expect to hire them to do it,

We have used Trades of the Triangle for several jobs, including mounting and hiding the wiring for a flat panel TV over the fireplace, installing ceiling lights, installing a home theater screen and hiding the speaker wires, installing a large chandelier from a high ceiling, repairing an outdoor entry light located about 25 feet above, removing part of a soffit to receive a large china cabinet, and other jobs. In each case, we received an estimate in advance explaining the work to be done, and it was done on time and on budget. Care was taken each time to make sure the work complied with all codes. The work was well done, and the costs were always reasonable. We highly recommend Trades of the Triangle to our friends.

We've hired Trades of the Triangle twice to do some repair work on the exterior of our home. I have 5 retail locations in the triangle and whenever anything needs fixing, from leaky fixtures to clogged toilets to new ballasts being installed or furniture needing mending they are right on it.
