Morgan, my main contact was great with his communication and kept me in touch with who would be showing up each day and guiding me through the process. The whole crew there are very good at what they do, Tommy, Aaron, Jeremy and a couple others all care about your home, the end result, and strive to make you happy. Overall, we had a positive experience with this company. We did a complete kitchen remodel and had a set budget. The designer worked with us to achieve our functional, aesthetic, and budgetary goals. Occasionaly, there were some communication issues regarding plans and logistics but in the end it came together. We would trust them to work on our house again.

Our new bathroom is beautiful! Heather helped us with the layout and the product choices. We used housing solutions to put a covered front porch addition on our house and we would 100% use them again. They were thorough, responsive, and helpful. The workers they had at our house were super friendly and thoughtful, especially John and David, two of the main carpenters. Our neighbors talked to us about how great they were after literally the first week. They picked things up from one day to the next so our kid wouldn't get into it, watched out for our geriatric dog, and generally did a lot of things they didn't necessarily have to do that made the process easier for us. They took pride in their work and seemed happy to take the time each day we saw them to tell us where they were and what was next. The project manager (Steve) helped us work through decisions and came out to our house several times to "catch things" we had questions about and missed as things took shape. They (& Ryan) worked with us on the budget and things felt like they moved along once we were able to get started -- no lag -- even though we uncovered an enormous boulder that required another visit from the landscaper/drainage guy. We did a lot of projects ourselves at our old house and it was nice having someone who cared as much as we would have, but without having to do anything or feel like we had to micromanage. They got it.

The carpentry team at Housing Solutions are skilled craftsman. I am very happy with the work that Sean and Dave did on my patio and garage. They built a new patio structure with metal roof and installed new siding, trim, windows, door, and stairs on my detached garage and it all looks great. Steve was very responsive with any questions I had and worked with me to ensure the details were right. Carlar was quick to follow up with quotes and contracts and keep things moving forward. Ryan has a great team at Housing Solutions and the work they all did was much appreciated.

We have had a lot of work done on our house in the past year and a half through various vendors and Housing Solutions is one of the best we've worked with. Ryan was very responsive to my husband's emails. Jeremy and Ben did a fantastic job installing the flooring, answering all of our questions along the way, and they left a clean workspace at the end of the day. We uncovered additional needs along this project and Ryan worked with us quickly to get it resolved - including a plumber and electrician. They also chipped in and moved heavy furniture so I didn't risk reinjuring my back. The guys were on time every day and really pleasant to have around. We are really pleased with their work and highly recommend their business.

I have owned multiple homes over the past 20 years and thus worked with numerous contractors and craftspeople. Ryan Holden and his team at Housing Solutions are by far the most professional, skilled, conscientious, knowledgeable, honest, and friendly group that has ever done work in my home. Ryan’s prices are competitive but still at a level that permits him to use the best quality materials and tradespeople. We needed a major renovation to our home to accommodate a handicapped family member as well as to update our kitchen and flooring. It was an extensive remodel that included moving two walls, adding a closet, widening doorways, painting the entire interior of the house, gutting/remodeling the kitchen, installing multiple light fixtures, and converting a half bath to a full bath. Ryan and his team were absolutely phenomenal at every step. Communication was consistent and always in writing with respect to all work being performed. As I mentioned, the renovation that we did was quite extensive and as work progressed, there were a couple of times when I wanted to make certain changes (e.g., we decided after execution of the original contract to redo the upstairs flooring and add two built in bookshelves). Each time there was a change, Ryan would prepare a detailed change order that specified the line-item charges and also provided a clear timeline for the additional work. The turn-around time was always reasonable and, if there were any delays (e.g., sometimes vendors were slow to ship materials), this was always immediately communicated. Ryan never “disappeared” for random intervals of time like some contractors do. Rather, he was always highly accessible and would come by my home right away if any major questions or concerns arose.

One of the many things that I really appreciate about Ryan is his commitment to quality and always doing right by the customer. For example, I have a medical condition that makes me highly sensitive to bright light. When Ryan first came to talk with me about my planned renovations, I explained that I needed all my lights to be put on dimmers so that I could keep the lighting as low as needed. When the light fixtures were first replaced, we discovered that use of standard dimmers resulted in a very subtle flickering effect. It was mostly unnoticeable to the average person, but to someone as light sensitive as me, this was a major problem. Ryan tried replacing the bulbs and then replaced the dimmers, but neither fix completely resolved the issue. At this juncture, Ryan neither gave up nor charged me more. Instead, he special ordered high-end dimmers, at no extra cost to me, which fixed the problem.

Honestly, I could go on and on about how pleased I am with Housing Solutions and the myriad ways that they made this whole process a highly positive one. I guess the best endorsement that I can give is that I highly recommend this company to all my friends and family. Ryan and his crew have already worked with a couple of people I know, and they have had the exact same positive experience that I had. I’m hoping to have his team come back sometime soon to renovate my master bathroom. I know that they will do an amazing job!

Ryan's crews did great work gutting and remodeling our kitchen. Communication was excellent, and Ryan did an excellent job walking us through the process and coordinating the various elements of the project. His specific teams were all pros, from paint to install to tile. They'll be my first call for any future renovations.

I had this contractor remodel two bathrooms in my home. The work was exceptional. They did exactly what I asked for. The employees were courteous, knowledgeable in their field. They cleaned area after each day of work. This remodel included flooring tear out and install as well as tear out tub and install tiled showers. New vanities were included as well as all the fixtures. Costs were within reason as well as timeframe. I highly recommend this contractor. He was a pleasure to work with from the estimate to the final product,

Housing Solutions recently remodeled a bathroom and a laundry room for us. They did an excellent job. Ryan (the owner) was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Slade and Tommy, the two guys who worked on our remodel, were great, too. Slade updated us on their progress as the remodel went on. They responded quickly when we had a question or an issue. We love our new bathroom. We like the laundry room, too, but it’s not as exciting as having a new bathroom.

All of the guys that worked on this did awesome work, from demo, rough in, sheetrock, painting, and tile, it all looks great, but Slade and Tommy really took care of us all the way through. What we had done: Complete kitchen teardown with installation of new lighting and appliances, counter tops, and cabinetry. Removed downstairs and stairway carpeting, installed new oak flooring on stairs and first floor. Refinished preexisting oak kitchen flooring to match with new flooring. Repainted and touched-up walls and trim on first floor.

Estimates vs. actual cost: The estimates were detailed and accurate. There were no surprises at all.

Timely: They worked out a realistic scenario for the work, allowing for the many delays in delivery of components, before the work was started. This gave us the opportunity to plan to lodge elsewhere while the work was completed.

Job performance: The crew was delightful to interact with on the job—very well organized and always polite and understanding of our questions and concerns. And they left the site clean each day and at the finish. They returned promptly to address concerns on the modest punch list.

We are satisfied in every way!

His carpenters did a nice job installing interior French doors with attention to the little details. They work quick too. Will definitely hire again for other projects.

Our 100 year old farmhouse had a bathroom leak that went undetected until one of the structural girders rotted almost all the way through. We had a report from the structural engineer for the repairs, abatement, waterproofing, and bathroom replacement, but struggled to find a contractor who could wrap their heads around all the multiple parts of the job.

I called Ryan at Housing Solutions upon the recommendation of another company and he came right out the next day to look at the job. We immediately liked his approach, and after interviewing multiple folks, chose Housing Solutions right away. Of course, like all good contractors, Ryan was booked out, but until he was able to start our job, he kept in close contact with us.

Great work! I hired Ryan and his team twice in a matter of months. First was to redo the floors in my bathroom. The old tile was badly cracked in many places and I feared the worst for what might be happening in the subfloor. Knowing it is my only bathroom, the team worked hard, showed up when they said they would and were able to finish all but the trim in a single day, so I wasn't displaced from my home. I liked their competence, effort and prices so much I hired them two weeks later to do a much larger project I'd been putting off for years. He was very helpful in guiding me about what would be best in terms of upping resell value while still keeping the price low. (He undercut the 3 other places I'd talked to by about $500 all told) Again the work was done in less time than the expectation he'd set and I would definitely consider hiring them again for any other flooring needs.

We were putting our house on the market and decided to put an engineered hardwood throughout the house, including over some original old and scatched up hardwoods. After getting several bids, I was fortunate enough to have found Ryan at Housing Solutions. He convinced me to keep the old hardwood and add new hardwood to the sunroom and the stairs. It ended up being the same price as my plan so I thought it was worth a try.

I was sceptical that he could really save the hardwood floor, there were deep gouges and lots of paint from where we painted the walls, (figuring we were covering the hardwood so it didn't matter.)

When we walked into the house after the work was done, we were shocked! The old floor litereally looked EXACTLY like the new oak they had layed in the sunroom!

They also were very accomodating with our crazy schedule. We needed to keep working so we asked if they come back a few weeks later to do the stairs. Eventhough we had to switch the date several times, Ryan was always friendly and willing to do what worked best for us!
