Total Pro Roofing

I had my roof replaced by Total Pro in late 2017 after TS Irma hit the Atlanta area. They did outstanding work and I cannot be more pleased with how it turned out. This week I needed an expert on the condition of not only my roof, but the roof of the new house I had just purchased. James Anderson came out very quickly and gave me an expert opinion on these roofs. Kudos to him and also to Breana in the office who was very kind and quick to respond to my call. I can certainly recommend them and the company.

We recently had our entire roof replaced with TotalPro. The roofing agent, James Anderson was very friendly and sincerely cared about providing us with a good service/finished product. I was able to go through their financing agency seamlessly and the roofing crew was able to come out and complete the work after about two weeks. Once the crew got started, they were able to finish the entire job in one day, it took them about 12 hours total, including cleanup. I would totally recommend the company, the new roof we have looks great and everyone was very friendly to work with. Ask for James Anderson to come out and give you a free quote.

We had total pro roofing install a new rolled roof 2 years back. As soon as the roof was installed, with the very first rains, we had a leak in our master bedroom which messed up our custom ceiling (photo posted). Total pro had messed up the work by taking a short cut on missing the installation of the underlayment. They took the responsibility and fixed the problem in spite of messing up our valuable custom ceiling. We did not post a review accepting the fact that they took the responsibility as it immediately happened after their installation. However, after 2 years of their installation (they claimed to offer 5 years of warranty), we again have a leak in their new roof which was verified by 2 other roofers. This time they did not even bother to come and verify the leak which was from their horrible installation and completely denied fixing the roof. I have posted the pictures of how badly they have screwed up our custom ceilings. So whoever has total pro roofing install their roofs, please beware. They will claim to do a good job initially but will not stand behind their warranty neither will come by to see the problem. I would have given them zero stars.

Tyler was so great to work with!! We had a bit of an emergency fix with a tree falling on our home and he was so responsive and on top of his team it was such a relief working with him on a new roof. And the roof looks great!

Total Pro did an excellent job with the repairs to our roof. They were prompt and courteous, the price was reasonable, and they communicated well. I would definitely use them again.

James, the marketing rep was refreshingly honest and truly concerned regarding our total satisfaction. He is personable, professional and honest. He answered all our questions and would admit if he did not have an answer and then do the leg work to get answers for us.

Jeremy, the on-site project manager was on top of the entire installation process and displayed a true respect for safety of the crew and protection of our property.

Amber, in the office was terrific and very professional. She returned every call and answered all our questions.

I only had 2 issues arose during the entire process:

1: The installation crews lack of respect for the flags they took down. They carelessly laid them on the ground instead of ringing the doorbell and asking for guidance. This occurred while Jeremy was informing us of the need to take the flags down and asking if we wanted them to bring them in.

2: The finance organization they use is totally unprofessional. They declined credit even though I have excellent credit rating and pay all bills off every month. I have a very strong suspicion that this was just age discrimination and am looking into reporting it as such. BTW, I called our credit union and got a loan with a quick phone call.

ABSOLUTELY 5 STARS! Tyler is the best of the best. Throughly inspected our room, took the time to explain each area of inspection, point our areas to monitor, and provide preventative maintenance on a few areas on the roof. We are beyond thankful for his knowledge and expertise!!!

We just had our roof replaced with Total Pro and would definitely recommend them. Tyler worked with our insurance to file a successful claim, he was absolutely key to how smooth the whole process was. The roof replacement was super clean and done in half a day. There were some communication hiccups but at the end of the day the work done looks great from what I can tell. They came in at a lower price than another main roofing company as well.

This company was referred to me from my neighbor and it was a great referral. I had an issue with my insurance and my roof. I called them and needed a quick turn around and they responded. Jeremy did a very thorough assessment with pictures and complete explanation. They were able to help me solve my issues in a timely and professional manner.

Excellent Service!!! Jeremy Gilstrap is a top-shelf Operations/Planning Manager and the other Jeremy is a top-shelf Project Manager. The plan presented by Jeremy G. was the plan that was executed. No wasted time...the team arrived around 6:45am and began the project around 7:30. The total roof replacement and clean-up was completed around 4PM. We are completely satisfied with the finished product.

He was patient, kind, and knew exactly what to do to get everything approved and covered. Almost no out of pocket cost for me. Me and the hubs were elated!

Before Sam and Total Pro Roofing, we tried working with another roofing company. Super good guys, also willing to work to fight to get our roof covered but unfortunately didn’t know all the industry tactics to use and weren’t successful at getting our roof approved. Sam and his team are skilled professionals who know what they are doing. I would refer them to my family and friends any day.

Not only that, but after my roof was installed and paid for, Sam worked with me to get a further rebate back, making my new roof almost free for me and my fam. Holy smokes, so grateful!!

I highly recommend Total Pro Roofing. I had hail damage and needed roof to be replaced. They met the insurance adjuster at my house to point out damaged spots. My roof was replaced in less than once full day and left the property cleaner than when they started. They even took extra time to make sure every single little nail was not left on driveway to avoid any potential damage to our car tire.

Justin and team did an amazing job on our roof replacement placement! Justin recommended that we work through our home owners' insurance company, which ultimately saved us thousands in out-of-pocket costs. Justin helped us work with the insurance claims representative to ensure they had all the information they needed to approve the claim. Finally, the roof replacement team did an amazing job replacing our roof. They fully completed the work within one day and we were left with a beautiful brand new roof that we love! Jake from Total Pro Roofing was excellent to work with! He went above and beyond from the start with working with the insurance company to get the roof, gutters and window screens replaced to working with the crew to make sure my plants and trees surrounding the house were protected. The workmanship on the roof was exceptional and was completed in one day as promised. The worksite was cleaned up very nicely after completion. I think I now have the best looking roof in my neighborhood! I was extremely impressed with Jake’s communication through the entire process. I didn’t know where to start so I’ve called my insurance, Farmers, and they gave me two phone numbers. Called them both and left messages for each call saying that my roof was damaged by strong wind. The first one came but didn’t even bother going on the roof to inspect the damages but he did see a trim damaged on the corner of my house, from eye balling from the driveway (that inspection went nowhere-that was a disappointment). Mac, from Total Pro Roofing – the second call I made, went on the roof and saw some damaged. He was very professional from start to finish. Mac walked me through the process, step by step and made sure that it flowed smoothly. When the day came they were able to put a new roof in a day. Total Pro Roofing did a great job. I highly recommend them when your roof is in despair and needs repair. Again I want to thank Mac Musser (I hope I spelled your name correctly) for helping with the process and Total Pro Roofing for the new roof on my house.

Matt and the installers did an excellent job and follow through after the job was completed. They are first rate. I have had several roofs put on in other states. None gave the service and dedication that Total Pro Roofing gave.

The time has come to get our house renovated. Our contractor suggested that he also might be able to help get us a free roof with the newly renovated home.
I was skeptical at first because we tried for it just a few years ago in 2019, but our claim was turned down by the insurance company at that time.
And this is where Drew Johnston and Total Pro Roofing came into play! Mr Johnston called me to set up an appointment for his initial free roof inspection during which he was able to determine that our roof did in fact suffered hail damage. Following the inspection he also was in contact with my insurance company and negotiated with them, so they approved my claim this time around and finally we were on our way to a brand new roof!
Total Pro was very professional throughout the whole process. A few days before the job actually took place we received a call from the company and they laid it out for us in details what we could expect throughout.
The materials were delivered to our home the day before the job took place along with a dumpster for the old shingles and debris.
The day of the job a whole army of workers showed up very early in the morning. They had a supervisor named Jeremy who stayed the entire day, kept an eye on things, took pictures for insurance purposes and answered all my questions. He was very informative and professional.
The workers were very quick and efficient, they worked in unison, and their team work was unparalleled! Our home is not very large, 1500 square feet, but they really amazed us since they finished their job by 4pm! by 4:30 everything was removed and thoroughly cleaned up, someone even came and took their dumpster! The neighbors coming home from work that day would've never guessed that our entire roof had been replaced!
All in all we are very satisfied with Total Pro Roofing! Everyone we came in contact with was very professional throughout the process. I also would like to mention timeliness and punctuality. From the time we first met Drew Johnston he had been very responsive. Every time I'd text him with a question he'd call me back shortly after with his answer. And as soon as our insurance company approved our claim, Total Pro scheduled us for our new roof.

So many scammers… so many companies make big promises and are short on delivery. Not so with Total Pro Roofing. Everything they promised… they did.

We had a situation where we had hail damage. I paid for years to my insurance for my home in order to protect it. The insurance company tried to dismiss my claim on three technicalities. When I explained the issues to Total Pro Roofing… they went through my entire roof and came up with the proof that was incontrovertible. Because of them, most specifically …Drew Johnson , I was able to have my entire roof replaced. They also were able to get some of the downspouts and gutters changed. Between Drew Johnson and Corey Smith I was treated courtesy, and complete professionalism. I can’t say enough good things about them. I’m a fussy guy, because I’m a proud perfectionist. Good enough is just not good enough for me. Schlocky work is unacceptable to me. I won’t do lazy job and won’t accept it from someone hired by me. Drew Johnson was at my house at the crack of dawn when they were starting the job to install the roof….and he was there to make sure that the job was done completely and as described prior to getting the job. Drew followed up after the job to see if there were any issues that I had. The crew that they came to my home with, was courteous, and job driven. We have a big roof and they were able to get it done in one day. There was a hitch…the insurance company had not provided enough shingles, so Drew made sure it was done early in the morning and finished before noon. The clean up was spectacular. If you had seen my home the day before while they were working, you would’ve thought a nuclear bomb went off. Yet, when they left, it was immaculately clean.

In September of 2020 my roof started leaking—water and squirrels.

I tried to patch the roof and where the squirrels were coming in, but failed. I decided to get a whole new roof and block the builders gap. I got the Total Pro folks to come out. They did great working with insurance, and got the work done—kinda, enough so they could collect their insurance check.

I thought they were good at the time—frankly partly because the sales rep was a hockey buddy. By all means, I was a fantastic customer. I tried to be because I thought it was a friend doing a favor. I wasn't pushy on the deadlines, and I even made marketing time lapse videos and published them for them FOR FREE. Plus, I recommended them to at least 5 friends, one who got her roof done too (something that was supposed to earn me a $100 referral fee that never happened).

The roof went up OK, though the builders gap was not sealed. I questioned it, but they said it would be impossible for squirrels to return once the gutters and flashing went up. Waited for the gutters to go up. 3 times they had to come back because of things like they forgot a WHOLE side of the house. Patching the drywall where the leaks happened meant just spackling and painting over it. I still have moldy painted over drywall up there and am waiting for that to be a problem.

The gutters though are the WORST. They leak at every corner that they did. They came back three times to fix it last year and I gave up because they were such idiots. Then this year, I started having problems with my foundation. The water coming down eroded my foundation, and I had to have my house put on 9 piers. My downspouts are unconnected in several places. I am still missing gutters on part of the roof. The gutters still leak. In fact they're just pools of water because they are not angled at all to go to downspouts, and will drip for up to a week after a rain.

When the squirrels started coming back in I called an exterminator. He came by and explained just how laughable their work to seal the roof was. I called them to come fix it. I have called or texted 6 different days from September 22, 2021 til October 19 to arrange for them to come out. I know COVID has caused construction delays. But they are blowing me off. No show for work dates. No calls back. Just texts saying that I'm "telling the owners right now" that are apparently meaningless.

In short, their work, particularly for gutters, is unprofessional if not a straight up liability. They are liars who don't warranty their work for real, do not complete the work they were hired to do, nor do they pay their referral awards.

I gave them two stars because they were good at getting their insurance money. That at least was hassle free. I highly recommend you find another vendor though. Save yourself a year of frustration and poor workmanship—and maybe even your foundation.

Contact; Finlay Hoffherr, he was very professional, went over and beyond his job. We had 2 other estimate, they didn't even suggest our Homeowners Insurance, All they wanted us to do was finance a new roof Finlay took more pictures of our roof sent to our Homeowners Insurance, we came out of pocket less than a $1,000.00

Total Pro Replaced my roof in 2020 and I am pleased with everything they did. Great pre sale and post sale support. Everything was done in a timely manner and their crew was quick to get the work done and clean up.
