After a long process of looking for a good company, I settled on RJS because of their amazing reviews. I should've stopped the whole process when communication was close to impossible. Started the process November of 2024 and still had holes and leaking water up until February of 2025 (which leads to many more issues)
Very disappointing outcome.. I'm left with holes still in my house and terrible patch work on my roof with shingles that do not match. Being pregnant and dealing with this has been a nightmare. On top of how long this process took and it still not being complete. I was met with nails all over my driveway and yard where we park our cars and our kids play. So not only was the roof and communication an issue, I was also left to deal with a flat tire due to nails everywhere. My insurance paid for half a replacement and the interior to be fixed and I got outdoor patch work/repairs and had to cancel the rest due to no longer being comfortable with the people I was forced to deal with. Being a woman in this situation, I felt totally taken advantage of..
So many great reviews here, was really hoping to be one but there's zero accountability for this company and it's employees or the employees they contract the work out to since they told me all the things that went wrong wasn't their company but the fault of the ones they contract out to that did not speak any English for me to communicate with.
Use at your own risk, but I pray folks have a better experience than I did.

RJS Roofing is the best in my opinion. I filed a claim about a year ago using a different Roofing contractor. I was denied and that was that. However RSJ Roofing came out. I hired them months ago for damage to my roof. They replaced roof through insurance company. I now have a leak and have made numerous attempts to try to get them to come out and fix it. One of the employees told me someone was going to come out three days ago and no one shows. They don’t answer the phone.

My roof was damage by storm in July of last year. I noticed that the roof across from my property was being inspected by RJS roofing alongside the insurance adjuster of my neighbors . I approached the representative from RJS roofing, Mai Ching and spoke to her about having my roof inspected. Immediately within days they inspected and noticed that shingles were missing and damaged , she was very cordial and professional about her job, Mai went step by step in details on how to get my roof replaced with better shingles and get the insurance to cover the costs of the roof done completely and water proof. Their company set the date , time for dumpster drop off and materials. The next day RJS roofing crew showed up on time protect the surrounding of my property and commenced stripping the old and damaged shingles , and began installing the new roofing system in by one day and cleaned up …

Over the years I've had more than a handful of companies come talk to me about doing roofs on my house and then after they get up on my roof and see how steep and precarious it is I haven't heard back from a single one of them.

That is until RJS Roofing showed up and offered to give me a quote on my roof. I was more than surprised when they came out and took a look at it and got back to me within a few days with a quote and options for what I could do. They worked with me time wise to make sure everything would go with my schedule and once they got out here they had the roof complete in one day and everything cleaned up. Then they came back the next day to double-check the cleanup and pick up anything that was missed. I am extremely happy with how professional they were and how good the roof looks!

Good company, easy to work with, and very helpful in getting a new roof. The worst part of a new roof is dealing with insurance. Thankfully, Alex took point and dealt with them for months after several receiving low ball claims. I learned insurance will do anything not to pay out a claim, but Alex knew how to present the facts in a way in which they eventually paid out for a full roof replacement. RJS roofing recently replaced our roof with architectural shingles. Mr. Isaiah from RJS Roofing took care of the work. He did complete the work as per the schedule within a day itself. The look and feel of the roof is wonderful. They gave 5 years of replacement warranty, and after that GAF will provide additional warrantly to the roof. I am very very happy for their work. I never would have imagined getting a brand new roof for my 18 year old home could be so easy. Evan, my roof pro was an absolute god send. He walked me though each step with great care and knowledge and was even able to stand in for me to speak with my insurance adjuster and with the contractors. Tony Hayes knocks on my door in late November and two weeks later I have a beautiful new GAF Timberliine roof installed by RJS Roofing. I could not be happier, Tony and Eddie had my roof inspected, contacted my insurer, filed my claim and arranged everything for me. To y stopped at my house because he saw I had a tarp on my roof where a tree had damaged my roof a few weeks earlier. I had already paid to have the tree removed, I did not know if I could or how to file a claim. But Tony and Eddie did and I am so glad that I answered the knock on my door. RJS, Tony and Eddie did a great job. The roofing job began at 7 am with the rhythmic sound of a small army of roofers scraping old shingles off the roof. They protected everything on the ground and flawlessly completed the job. When they left around 2 pm, the area around my house looked better than when they got there. I see why they have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and I would urge you to call Tony Hayes if you have any concerns about your roof. They will help you and you might be as happy as I am with my new roof from RJS Roofing.

RJS Roofing and Construction - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this company. Representative Isaiah came to my door about roof replacement. Stated they would inspect the roof and contact ins. company to make claim if appropriate.
Isaiah presented me with results of inspection saying roof had much damage, wind and hail and needed replacement and he did file claim with my ins, Farmers. Farmers scheduled their inspection also and to meet Isaiah and myself at the house to go over inspection. Isaiah did not show up and did not communicate with anyone that he would not be able to make it. This negatively affected the process and Isaiah did nothing more. Never saw him again. Farmers inspected and said roof was fine. Due to no contact by Isaiah the case was closed. Isaiah never contacted me again. Complete lack of professionalism.

They did an awesome job with my roof. A few months ago, Tony Hayes was doing a walk-through of my neighborhood and offered a free inspection of my roof. Knowing my roof was pretty old, I figured there was some damage and Tony was pretty sure that it would be covered under insurance. We had our roof replaced with RJS Roofing on 11/18. I am very pleased with the end result. When Elijah knocked on the door he was very pleasant and very bubbly. I tried to tell him that my insurance company would never approve a new roof. I told him we had been denied at least three times by our insurance company and even though I knew we had hail and wind damage, they were insistent on doing repairs only. He was so optimistic, I just couldn't resist that positive energy of his, and agreed to have the inspection done. Of course the insurance company denied it at first, but when RJS did the replacement test, it gave them the proof needed to show that a full replacement is what was needed. Elijah, kept saying, you have to have faith!, with that big smile and he was right. The team showed up very early on the install day. They were total professionals, kept the whole area protected and clean while they worked. They cleaned all of the area from their work at the end of the day. I love the color we picked. It's Shakewood, which is a dark brown. It is different from anyone in our neighborhood and goes well with our cream colored house. I would highly recommend RJS and their team. It was a true pleasure working with them.

I knew nothing about roofing but when I started having issues with my roof and even worse issues with my siding and didn’t know what to do for either, RJS not only came through, they held my hand throughout the entire process. I even got to choose the color of the shingles for my new roof and learned more about the materials that were used for my new roof in comparison to the old one. Mai was very helpful and professional. She informed me during the whole process with Allstate. At first they only approved me for repairs only which was under my deductible but she ensured me that she was going fight to get me a full roof replacement because I had storm damage every where and they had to tarp part of my roof.
