I hired John to build a screened in porch, and my wife and I are thrilled with how it turned out. John and his team were extremely professional and completed the project quickly despite a few unforeseen setbacks caused by my aging home. John was very transparent throughout the build in regards to the job’s progress and budget. I highly recommend John and his team to anyone looking to modify their home!

John and his team replaced our front door, entry way, back door and some of the siding around our house. Him and his team did a thorough job. John walked us through what he was doing and make recommendations as needed. We have been satisfied with the job and would recommend his team.

John is so knowledgeable and fun to work with. We had some fun conversations and his team is amazing. Most importantly his work ethic and quality of work is amazing. He goes above and beyond. I really appreciate him and his team. Pricing was fair and got the job done in a timely manner. We will definitely hire him for more work.

I would give k9 Construction more stars if i could. John and his crew are thoroughly professional and thoroughly trustworthy. The deck I ended up with is 50% larger than I was initially planning, but hardly more in price. Everyone involved with getting this done obviously has years of experience and knows how to execute a final product that is efficiently completed and is absolutely of the highest quality. I am totally happy with the deck and the price...it's all screwed together (not nailed) and it's got metal brackets of support everywhere. They discovered some rotten wood behind the ledger board of the old deck and quickly cut it out and repaired the area to be better than what it was originally...what can i say... If my review sounds kind of over the top corny, i assure you it's all true and i live right here in Winder Ga.
Besides my complete satisfaction with the deck, John discovered a dangerous condition under my front steps which he and his crew we're able to fix quickly to my enormous gratitude. To be honest i really feel like I owe K9 and John more money for all they have done above and beyond my expectations.

John and co-workers have built a new, large deck for our home.The quality of their work is outstanding and we will definitely ask them to help us with other projects for our home.

John and his team repaired my deck and roof today. We called John in response to recommendations from our home inspection report. John and his team were very professional and efficient. The cost of the project was ideal. The quality of their work is great. John also identified areas that needed repair and performed those also while onsite. John took the time to ensure that the deck was safe and secure for my family. I highly recommend John for any deck and roofing needs.

John was great. Negotiated the quote for my deck reinforcement and roof repairs & inspections. John is a very knowledgeable guy with decks, especially with roofs. Deck reinforcements job was great, where my deck was very sturdy after his reinforcement work. Also, find some wood rot on a couple of main support posts. Roof repairs were done according to home inspection report. Inspected roof throughly with an expected life left and cleaened all my roof and gutters. Work done over a period of two days.

John and his crew did an amazing job building our deck. It is beautiful and they were very professional. I would highly recommend.

K9 Deck and Roofing rates 10 stars! K9 owner, John Balasco and crew efficiently removed our 33-year-old deck and replaced it with a much better quality and stronger deck. His highly skilled crew has an amazing work ethic. They showed up on time every day and worked efficiently all day long. Because Mr. Balasco spends a significant amount of time on the job each day, he can manage any surprise issue that may occur. I'm a retired builder, I know how frequently that happens. For example, while replacing the ledger broad, they found rot in our chimney framing. They repaired it immediately. Other company's contracting crew would have just covered it up thus leaving us a much larger and expensive problem in the future. Not so with K9 Decking, they do what is right and best for the customer. I got several estimates on replacing our deck and now that the new deck is done, I believe K9 is the best in the business. Ask John about his unique and very strong “Balasco deck rail system”.

Mr. John and his team are simply amazing! Expect them to be very prompt, extremely responsive, and caring! Communicating with Andrea was also very easy. I would recommend Mr. John to EVERYONE and we look forward to working with K9 services in the future!

I am delinquent in writing this email, so I apologize to John. There are no words to describe how awesome this gentleman and his team are. I hired John to replace my deck, but we had no idea what this was actually going to intel because the previous owners had built a deck with a tile floor. As John and his team took up the tile, we learned that there was about a 4-6 inch concrete base (exactly..it gets worse ) There were 100 black garbage bags of concrete to haul away. Then there was also a huge plywood sub floor to be removed. It was unbelievable and a nightmare. Throughout the whole process John and his team were positive and courteous and they absolutely worked their tails off. a normal 3 day job, took 2 weeks. I also had a leak I was trying to address during this project and John went above an beyond to help me figure that out. To further illustrate the kind of person he is, at the end of the project he presented me with an invoice that I thought was unfair to him based on all of the work he and his team did. That was unacceptable to me and we worked that out. I could go on and on here, but all i can say is if you want an honest, thorough, and knowledgeable company for project, you are missing out if you don't hire John.

We love our new deck! We had been talking to John for around 6 months before committing to such a large project. He was responsive the whole time and answered all our questions. I didn't want our screened in deck to be ordinary so I had alot of questions.

We ended up choosing Fiberon Composite in Chai light grey and Earl Grey accents. Shiplap ceiling. Square aluminum balusters. They even built us a little custom bar area looking out for extra usable tabletop space that we requested. He tore down our old deck and built a completely new one with a roof and screen. He also enlarged it and added a small uncovered part for grilling.

They did a wonderful job. Solid construction. John is genuine and responsive. Pricing was very fair- I had 3+ quotes from others to compare. We would definitely use him again. His crew was great and he made the experience very smooth. Thanks John and Crew!

John was fantastic. I had a minor roof repair that was too high for me to reach, and my HOA was harping on me to fix. I was worried with such a minor repair I'd never get someone interested in helping me. John however was incredibly quick to respond, and even fixed it while it was raining. I cannot thank him enough. I feel bad I don't have more work for him to complete because he seemed like such a down to earth nice guy. I really appreciate the help on getting the HOA off my case. Thanks!

John and everyone with K9 Roof Repair did an outstanding job on my deck ! I seriously couldn't be any happier with the outcome. They helped me pick out exactly what I was looking for and guided me throughout the entire process. Any questions that I had were answered promptly and in great detail.

The crew would show up every morning on time. There was never a day that they were late. I've honestly never seen anything like it before. Usually, the crews I've used previously would occasionally be late. That wasn't the case with this particular group. They really went above and beyond to make sure my deck was finished perfectly and I can't thank them enough !

John and his team transformed our small uncovered deck into a large beautiful deck with stairs and a porch roof which matches our house perfectly! We are so happy with the result, and John’s team worked hard to make our dreams a reality. Highly recommend!

K9 and John is the only one that responded to my request for replacing my 30 year old deck. All the other guys have yet to respond to my request. John looked at my old deck and advise the best solution for replacing. He said my deck was very well constructed.
John was very respectful and professional. I would highly recommend K9 Roofing.

They were very professional and knowable while performing the replacement. I could not be more satisfied with their work and the speed. They cleaned up everything and when finished except for the new deck you would not have known they had even been here.Great job John.

John and his crew went above and beyond to complete my small repair project. I am so pleased with results and will be using John for future needs as a new roof looms in my future! The larger companies did not want to take on the job, but K-9 and John did not hesitate to accomplish it quickly and efficiently with attention to detail. He completed other additional tasks needing attention at no charge just because he is a honest and compassionate man. If you are looking for the best to do your project, do not hesitate to call!

I was left mid project by a contractor who took on a more than they could handle. John and his team recognized that my wife and I were desperate for a new roof and he stepped up big time to help us out on short notice.

In just a matter of days, John and his team completely replaced our leaking roof and built a 300 sq ft deck plus 300 sq ft screened in porch. His team is fast and efficient but does not sacrifice quality. Above all else, he is fair and communicative. I would recommend him for any deck or roofing job!

Johnny provided me with the kind of personalized customer care that most would only expect from a family member. Just a really outstanding man that exemplifies professionalism and confidence that comes with years of experience. Johnny repaired some shingles for me, removed a satellite dish and performed roof maintenance. He was able to determine the brand of shingle that I had and was able to quickly order it. The repairs he made are seamless and I am so happy with the outcome.

I had a leaking issue with my roof. I got in contact with Mr. John Balasco. He came highly recommended. He was very professional and very experienced at his job. He did not try to incorporate any additional work that was not needed and very honest at what he would do to rule out the issue that was at hand. He also stated that he would follow up to make sure that there was not a leak any longer. I recommend him, if you're having roof issues and you may find out other things he's experienced in as well.

It was a pleasure working with John. He's very informal and he can locate, and FIX roofing issues. John basically repaired some minor leaks our home had, basically doing the same job another company we hired failed to do. And we love his 1 yr warranty! We will continue to work with John for any future roof repairs.
